The staff did not check in with us about our meal after it was served, and when we mentioned our concerns during billing, they placed the blame on us for not speaking up sooner but in reality, they were not even around to call them and express our concerns. I will not recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Indian food. And please don't be fooled by the ratings of this place.

Overall food experience was good but the service was very bad. The waitress was very unpleasant and no good to the guests. Seems like she was working forcefully. Anyway recommend for food not for hospitality.

Begrüßung an der Grenze zur Unverschämtheit bei der Antwort auf die Frage, ob wir im Garten sitzen könnten. OK, also mit gemischten Gefühlen auf die lezten freien Sitzplätze der Terasse im Eingangsbereich gesetzt. Essen kam zügig, allerdings war von der gewünschten Schärfe trotz Nachrage «Indian style?» nicht viel zu merken. Das Chicken Saag gut eßbar aber irgendwie langweilig. Da haben wir schon deutlich besser gegessen.

We go out for Indian food quite often. We weren't so happy here because the dishes tasted less aromatic compared to other restaurants. It started with the raita that was served with the papadums (at other restaurants you usually get three dips) and ended with the main courses. I was also annoyed that we were brought to our reserved table by waiter 1, but 5 seconds later - we were still getting down - waitress 2 showed up and quite resolutely wanted to send me away again because there was a reservation here. I explained that we are the reservation and were just placed here. That wasn't enough for the lady, we should get out of here. Waiter 1 noticed this and we were finally able to sit down. I have no idea what that was about, I thought it was weird.

Ich war etwas zurückhaltend, als ich die zahlreichen sehr negativen Bewertungen gelesen hab. Aber wahrscheinlich verreisen hier Leute das Restaurant, die wahrscheinlich selbst Probleme haben, Wasser heiß zu machen. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass es hier wirklich ganz schlechtes Essen gibt. Ambiente sehr gut, das Personal etwas distanziert kühl, aber das ist mir letztlich egal. Sehr schnelle Bedienung, auch das Essen dauerte nicht lange. Ich hatte eine Linsensuppe als Vorspeise, die kann man nicht besser machen, ich koche selbst viel, auch asiatisch und indisch und kann das beurteilen. Als Hauptgang hatte ich ein Lammgericht mit Spinatsoße. Gut, das kann natürlich deutlich „indischer“ sein. Aber das Fleisch war butterzart und alles geschmacklich rund. Wir dürfen nicht vergessen, würden wir hier als Europäer wirklich authentisch indische Gerichte serviert bekommen, könnten wir wahrscheinlich keines davon essen und würden es auch nicht vertragen. (Und dann wird sich der deutsche Michel auch noch bitterlich darüber beschweren). Die Inder müssen sich irgendwie in Europa mit ihrer Küche anpassen. Ist sicher nicht einfach. Ich werde hier sicherlich noch einige Gerichte probieren und bin gespannt.

Very tasty, very cozy, great service. Everyone is very friendly and attentive, extensive menu with delicious Indian dishes, something for everyone. Absolute recommendation.

Nice atmosphere and good offer of food.

Extremely poor quality and taste of food. Staff didn't knew English and it was super hard to place the order. The curry had no salt and spices. Even the chicken was rubbery and chewy. Rice was half cooked as well.

Food was under par ordered Dal Tadka this was supposed to be their signature dish. Ideally there should be an option to choose Roti, Naan or Rice but I kindly requested to replace Rice with Roti (every Indian restaurant in Dresden allowed it) as I don't want to waste, server said the Chef disagreed and they charged another 3.50 Euro for a Roti. Just ridiculous...not at all recommended.

Not a good choice for authentic spicy Indian food

The meal I had didn't capture the true essence of Indian cuisine. The 'naan' resembled more of a pizza base, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, finding cucumber in the vegetable kadai sabji was unexpected and didn't align with any Indian recipes. Moreover, the rice was undercooked, which further detracted from the dining experience. I don't know what to say, but this is not for Indians for sure.

My favorite indian restaurant. The food is always hot and freshly served. The food suits my taste because it‘s not too strongly seasoned and not much less. Please try their Biryani Lamb or chicken (if you have big appetite) then dont forget the mango lassi, thank me later.

We have eaten Asian and Indian food on occasion and therefore have the opportunity to compare. The Reataurant is located near Dresden's Albertplatz and is easy to reach by public transport. As is the case everywhere in the area, there is little parking available. The restaurant is appropriately and functionally furnished. The tables offer enough space. The staff is friendly and speaks good German. When we visited on a Saturday evening, the house was well attended. A reservation is recommended. The menu is very extensive. From starters to vegetarian dishes, Indian classics to fish dishes, everything is available. The level of spiciness of the dishes and the spices used are described in the menu. The food is very, very tasty. Krombacher beers, an Indian beer and various wines are offered. In addition, everything that you normally get from “Indians”. All in all, the restaurant is recommended.

Wir waren wiederholt in diesem indischen Restaurant und sehr zufrieden. Das Mittagsangebot kostete 8,50 €. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Reis und Papadam war inklusive. Es war sehr lecker. Ausreichende Portionen. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Ausstattung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

The Taste Of India is centrally located and easy to reach by bus or train. You should avoid using your car as there are few parking options in the area. The ambience is well-kept and attractive, the toilets are very clean and modern. The service was very friendly and attentive. Our orders came quickly and without a long wait, it was a perfect fit. The food was consistently very, very good, warm and appropriate for the price. Here too, thumbs up and no complaints. All in all, we can happily recommend the Taste Of India. 👍

Finally Indian again, but what was going on? When we entered the restaurant we were simply left standing there. When we were allowed to look for a table ourselves, we could tell that the service lady was somehow annoyed. You always look forward to the little greeting from the house (a delicious snack) but we got the answer that this wasn't for our table and that they wanted to get rid of it anyway and since it wasn't enough we weren't allowed to pay our bill at the table , but we were asked to do this at the checkout. Food is delicious as always but service is not good at all. A pity.

Wir sind zu 4. zum Urlaub an Silvester, aus Franken ,hier her angereist und haben ohne Reservierung, trotz üppiger Besucheranzahl, spontan einen gemütlichen Platz ergattern können! Das Essen war exzellent, der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Atmosphäre und Lautstärke im Gäste-Saal, trotz der bereits erwähnten üppigen Besatzung im Saale, ruhig und angenehm. Alles in einem, für uns der beste Inder, den wir seither besuchen durften! Da haben wir wohl einen wahren Glückstreffer gelandet :) L.G. aus Franken!

Tolles Gebäude und Ambiente aber geschmacklich leider unterer Durchschnitt. Der Starter war altes Naam-Brot mit einem undefinierbaren etwas ranzigen Mini-Klecks von irgendwas.... das Mango-Chicken war weder fruchtig noch leicht scharf, sondern schmeckte nach Fertigsoße.... leider entäuschend. Vielleicht kann man für €13,90 auch nicht mehr erwarten.....schade.... Das Restaurant war Sonntag abend komplett leer .... nie ein gutes Zeichen.....

Sehr enttäuschendes Essen, welches ungenießbar war. Weder Samosas, Pakoras noch die Suppe waren frisch gekocht . Es fehlten alle Gewürze weder Salz geschweige denn indische Gewürze wurden verwendet. In den kartoffelpakora, war Püree ohne geschmack. Das Chicken tandori war mir hell rosa Soße, roch nach nichts, schmeckte nach nichts. Einzig das papadam war essbar. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht.

Wir hatten spontan mal wieder Lust auf internationales Essen. Dabei fiel uns das indische Restaurant "Taste of India" in der Dresdner Neustadt ins Auge. Wir bestellten neben den Getränken 2 Speisen: "Palak Gosht", "eine Wundervolle Komposition aus eingelegtem Lammfleisch, Spinat, frischem Ingwer, Knoblauch und indischen Gewürzen nach Punjabi Art gegart, serviert mit Reis" und "Mango Chicken" "Hühnerbrustfilet, Mango-Kokoscreme, Kokos, Mango-Currysoße und Mangostücken, serviert mit Reis". Was sich schön liest, ist tatsächlich sind jedoch nur grob geschnittene Fleischstücken mit zusammengewürfelter Paste. Das Ganz in einem Napf serviert. Das sehr fasrige Fleisch weist keinerlei Geschmack auf. Ob es tatsächlich Lamm ist, lässt sich am Geschmack nicht feststellen. Wir werden zukünftig unseren "Geschmack" wieder wo anders testen!

Der beste indische Mittagstisch, an den ich mich erinnern kann. Gerichte zum Hineinlegen und Teller ablecken ;). Die mies gelaunte Bedienung könnte ein bisschen weniger laut beim Ausräumen der Geschirrspülmaschine und Abräumen der Gästetische mit den Tellern und Besteck knallen, um allen zu zeigen, dass ihr die Arbeit keinen Spaß macht.

Die Speisekarte bietet eine Vielzahl von indischen Gerichten in unterschiedlichen Geschmacksrichtungen und Schärfen. Das Fleisch war zart, gut gewürzt und die Portionen waren ausreichend bemessen. Tische wurden zügig gereinigt, wenn Gäste gingen. Leider war der Service schlecht. Niemand fragte, ob es weitere Getränkewünsche gibt. Auf Nachfrage nach der Speisekarte zur Auswahl eines Nachtisches geschah - 20 Minuten nichts. Und das obwohl die Mitarbeiterin noch mehrmals an unserem Tisch vorbeiging. Schade. Wir haben das gute Lokal frustriert verlassen und kommen nicht wieder.

Ich habe heute Mittag Chicken Vindaloo gegessen. Es gibt in der Woche mittags eine preisgünstige Speisekarte. Sehr viele Speisen kosten dann 8,50€. Sehr sehr schmackhaft und mit einer annehmbaren Schärfe versehen. Ich wurde angenehm bedient und vom Aussehen des Essens kann man sich selbst ein Bild machen.

Ein schöne zurechtgemachtes Restaurant. Man kann hier drinnen und draußen sitzen. Das Essen ist lecker. Der Service zwar schnell, aber sehr selten greifbar.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und das Ambiente lädt auch zum Verweilen ein. Draußen gibt es auch einige Plätze. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

I visited solo and really liked this place in Dresden. Please be prepared to be patient for a while between someone comes to attend you and take your order. You will not regret the wait as the food being served is of really good quality. I recommend the chicken vindaloo menu. The quantity served is good and tasty as well. The potato in the chicken vindaloo is especially flavorful. I have come here today for a second visit, and am trying the vegetarian dal makhani option with gobi-pakora today.

Vorsicht! Mindestbestellwert auf der Website und Liefergebiet stimmen nicht. Meine Bestellung wurde einfach storniert. Am Telefon wurde mir gesagt, auf der Website würde es richtig stehen (tut es nicht) und es sei meine Schuld. Ich empfinde das als Vertrauensbruch. Schade, ich war eigentlich Stammkundin.

Wir waren hier mit einer größeren Gruppe und bei einem gut ausgelasteten Restaurant leider sehr lange Wartezeit für den Service. - wie beim letzten Mal.. Wir haben verschiedene Hauptspeisen bestellt und leider haben (nicht zum ersten Mal) die Hochwertigen Produkte (Garnelen) auf dem Grillteller teilweise gänzlich gefehlt. - dies wurde nur auf Nachfrage und der Information " das es jetzt etwas dauern wird" behoben... Leider stimmt für mich hier das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Die Qualität, der Service, die lange Wartezeit für alles!, die fehlenden Produkte rechtfertigen den doch Recht hohen Preis hier nicht. Wir haben das beste aus dem Abend gemacht und werden so schnell nicht wiederkommen. Es gibt sehr gute Alternativen für indisches Essen in der Stadt. Einfach mal probieren und begeistern lassen! 2,5/5*

Das Restaurant hat eine Terrasse auf der Rückseite, die ein schönes Ambiente für ein Abendessen bietet. Der Service war freundlich und unaufdringlich. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist sehr groß. Bei den einzelnen Gerichten wird darauf hingewiesen, ob und ggfs. wie scharf das Essen ist. Mir hat das gewählte Essen geschmeckt, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war für mich angemessen. Kartenzahlung möglich. Das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen.

Visited you on 03.07.2023 and drink Jal jeera. It was really excellent 👍. Visited with family on 04.07.2023. For Dinner. Atmosphere -very Good Service-Very Good. Food-Average. Only paneer is to be improved as far as taste is concerned. Hospitality was nice.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ein äußerst freundliches und zuvorkommendes Team umsorgt seine Gäste professionell. Das Essen ist sehr, sehr gut und fein abgestimmt. Ohne an Authentizität zu verlieren, ein wenig an den europäischen Gaumen in Sachen Schärfe angepasst. Rund um, ein wirklich gelungenes Mahl in stilvoller Umgebung!

Das indische Restaurant an der Bautzen Straße ist bereits eine gefestigte Institution in der Neustadt. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen vegetarischen, Geflügel, Lamm oder Grill-Gerichte. Zur Mittagszeit (11 bis 14:00) gibt es alle vegetarischen und Geflügelgerichte für jeweils 8,50€. Am Wochenende und zum Abendessen sind die Preise für die Gerichte und Portionen schon eher in den höherpreisigen Regionen angesiedelt. Die Einrichtung ist schick und modern und man fühlt sich wohl und sitzt sehr bequem. Es gibt sowohl im innen Bereich, als auch im Außenbereich Sitzplätze. ESSEN Wir haben zur Mittagszeit 2 Gerichte bestellt. Als Vorspeise wird dünnes knuspriges indisches Brot mit einem Dipp serviert. Bestellt haben wir das vegetarische Mango-Krokus-Curry und Khrani Paneer (indischer Käse) und beide Gerichte waren lecker und geschmacklich sehr gut. Dazu wurde eine große Portion Reis serviert.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und im Sommer kann man schön im Innenhof sitzen.

Vegetáriánus a családom, és többször voltam Indiában. Autentikus ízekkel találkoztam ezen a helyen. Az ételek finomak, bőségesek és színesek voltak. Az étterem könnyen megközelíthető és rendkívül jó atmoszférájú. Természetesen a saját kategóriájában értékelem. Máskor is visszajövünk, másoknak is ajánlom.

5 gwiazdek to za mało by ocenić tą restaurację. To jest 10\10! Jedzenie jest wybitne, cudowne, wspaniałe. Obsługa jest bardzo miła, podejście do klienta przekracza oczekiwania. Przed podaniem zamawianych dań dostaliśmy chrupkie indyjskie pieczywo oraz najwspanialszą na świecie zupę pomidorową - to od firmy. A potem nasze zamówienie to niebo. Kaczka mango to poezja smaków, nigdy nie jadłam czegoś tak dobrego a kurczak tikka masala zachwycił mojego męża. Klimat restauracji jest wspaniały, typowo indyjski. Na pewno wrócimy jak będziemy w Dreźnie.

Das Essen ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Das Pesonal könnte aber aufmerksamer sein. Auf eine weitere Getränkebestellung oder um die Rechnung zu bekommen, hätte man fast jemandem in den Weg springen müssen.

Ich habe online über Lieferando bestellt. und Die Bestellung war für 60 min angesetzt. Es kam sogar schon eine halbe Stunde früher! Das Essen war ausgezeichnet! IMMER WIEDER GERNE!
