After a beautiful tour of the Rochlitzer Berg, we had lunch in the Indian restaurant in Rochlitz. It was super tasty and the service was very friendly! Will definitely come back because the price-performance ratio is just right! Thanks

We happened to be in Rochlitz today, I went to Taste of India, an Indian restaurant, and we really enjoyed the food.

Really disappointed by the food which is not at all Indian. The restaurant is a scam in the name of authenticity. We had Naan and chicken tikka masala. The naan was super firm and tasteless and the curry was not at all good as well. Highly NOT recommended.

Great food, fast and attentive service

Stopped in Rochlitz overnight in our motorhome and had a meal here. Good service, good food and good prices.

Indian restaurant highly recommended. Great price-performance ratio. On today's bike tour (Wednesday July 17th, 2024) it was the only restaurant where we got lunch. We didn't arrive until 2 p.m. and received great service just before closing time. Keep it up !!!

We'd love to come back. Very good food and very nice service. There was something for every taste. There was also a small starter with a delicious dip. The homemade ice cream is also highly recommended. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. All in all we felt very comfortable. Thanks.

Stopped by spontaneously after a hike at the Kriebstein dam. Everyone was super friendly and top Indian food! Definitely again. Tip: You can also pre-order and pick up.

Food, ambience and service first class. From Monday to Friday many dishes only cost 9.90 euros... That's a great achievement. For several dishes you can choose the level of spiciness, which is a highlight for me as a spicy eater!

Went there spontaneously, everything from starters to dessert was delicious. The price is great. For less than €45 there were two lassis, a starter, two main courses and a dessert (you'll definitely be full afterwards). Food came quickly.

Aber wenn Sie wissen, was indisches Essen ist, sollten Sie diesen Ort nicht besuchen. (EN) "taste of India" is not really the taste of India. If you want an evening with good ambience with good music and you have no idea of what Indian food is, then come here. But if you know Indian food, this is not the place that will serve you well. Pros: 1. Nice ambience. 2. Nice music. 3. Strict to appointments. 4. Pappadam is originally Indian. Lows: 1. Samosa had thick crust. Difficult to eat. 2. Surprisingly, 'Dal Hariyali Tarla' is called as national dish in the menu. We have never heard of this in India. If this is Dal-Makhani which is common in North India, then 'Dal Hariyali Tarla' was sweet. Not original. Definitely not national. Also, India has a vast variety of food culture, so what is common in North India need not necessarily be a national dish. 3. Karhai Paneer was not like Karhai Paneer. This had a lot of gravy. Original Karhai Paneer is not like this. 4. Tandoori Roti had no indications of having been cooked in Tandoor (Indian grill). 5. Same is true for Tandoori Naan. Grilled ??? 6. Same is true for Paneer Tikka. Menu says that it is grilled, but it seemed cooked with gravy. Original Paneer Tikka is very different, Not little different. 7. We ordered Indian Beer and asked the server the name of the Indian beer and the person didn't know the brand. 8. Tandoori Roti was served first, and the Naan came after 20 minutes of wait. 9. The Ras-Malai is a disaster. It was more like rice-pudding (kheer), with hard rice. And this sweet-dish was actually slightly salty. More like a savoury. Weird!! 10. At payment counter, we learnt that the menu card given to us was different. Actual menu doesn't have Ras-Malai but has Firni. But what we got was not even Firni. I have more points to mark but I am consciously keeping the ones related to food only. Photos of what I ordered is duly posted here. Disappointing food! I wonder what this restaurant has to do to score well. I think they need original chefs from India, who are great in their craft.

What can I say... I spontaneously went to dinner here with my best friend and it was incredibly tasty. Absolutely recommended! Very nice service 😉. The atmosphere is very cozy and the food is, as I said, very tasty. We would love to come back 💙

The food was very tasty, beautifully prepared, there's nothing to complain about. We had seats in the small room at the back, which was unfortunately very cold. Point deduction! Staff very friendly, will come back in summer.

Attention is paid to the cleanliness and well-being of the customer. The waiting times for food and drinks despite being at full capacity is very positive. The food tasted very good, we were completely satisfied. Price-performance ratio fits, we would be happy to come back. P.s. A lot of respect for anyone who dares to start again today and then invests so much. You can see that this was done in and around the restaurant with love, a lot of money and attention to detail. Sitting outside is very nice, the restaurant is not so good.

We spontaneously went to the Indian restaurant for a meal, we received a very warm welcome, the food and drinks came very quickly, the quality of the food was excellent and very hot 🔥. It is highly recommended, we will come back. 5 stars 🌟.

Wir fanden das Essen sehr lecker, der Reis ist wirklich sehr gut. Nettes Personal, sehr freundlich und es ging alles schnell. Als Schmankerl gibt's auch noch Kulmbacher Edelherb. .

Ein sehr zentral gelegenes Restaurant mit einem sehr gemütlichem Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker und es gibt auch einen Biergarten. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Beste Sehenswürdigkeit in Rochlitz. Super Essen, nette Kellner, gutes Ambiente. Tipp 1: extrascharf bestellen Tipp 2: Mango-Schnaps Trinkgeld geben stark empfohlen.

Super schönes Restaurant mit toller Terrasse im grünen. Die Bedienungen sind immer sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt immer sehr gut. Eine große Auswahl an Gerichten. Egal ob vegan, vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch/ Fisch, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Preis Leistung ist top!
