We went for the all-you-can-eat option and can't complain. Despite the sheer volume of orders, the food was perfectly fine.

We were in Dortmund for a business trip, and the restaurant closest to the hotel was Tapas & More. We were very satisfied! The food was delicious and the service was very friendly! Would definitely recommend it! 😋🍷

This was our first time at Tapas and more. You can choose between ordering from the menu or all-you-can-eat. With the all-you-can-eat option, you order 5 tapas per person every 15 minutes via the app. All the tapas were good and always came really quickly. We were lucky that evening that we arrived early enough and got a table. Staff: Really nice, friendly, and accommodating. Simply great!

We were there as a family of three on Sunday, May 11, 2025, and sat inside because there was no room outside. Location: Fairly close to the city center. What was really annoying was the poser crowd with their big cars and motorcycles that constantly drove past with their roaring engines every few minutes. It almost felt like they were driving right through the restaurant. The owner can't be blamed for this, but it was certainly annoying and disruptive. Atmosphere: Rustic and nice. Everything was clean. What I personally didn't like so much was the menu, which had to be loaded at the table via QR code. The progress was always changing, but you don't have to (forcedly) stare at your phone even at the dining table in the restaurant. Staff: They were all nice and accommodating. Food: (and this is where most of the points are deducted). We often and enjoy Spanish food, so we drove the 40 km to Dortmund to "test" the place. We did NOT opt for the "all you can eat" option. The main reason was the "15-minute rule." I don't like it when people tell you how quickly or how slowly you should eat. The guest should be able to decide that for themselves and doesn't need to be patronized. They're all grown-ups! (Or so you'd think). Taste: First of all: we were all full (it's up to you how much you order), and the food was "edible." BUT: Almost everything that was fried was convenience food, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, and was "halfway OK." Everything that was (presumably) prepared on site was unfortunately unseasoned and had little to no flavor. It was very quickly apparent that the work here was more than obviously lacking in quality and craftsmanship. The chicken fillet (unfortunately only boiled in water and not fried) with orange sauce (almost tasteless) tasted like the classic frozen chicken fillet with 10% liquid seasoning from Metro. The albondigas (much to my surprise) were also only boiled in water!!! and not fried. Both therefore lacked any roasted flavors and were actually "not tasty," only "edible." The tomato sauce that came with them was also merely edible. The ribeye steak was "cooked to death" and harder than a "shoe sole" (well done +++) without any seasoning. The lamb chop was also "cooked to death" and the consistency was more like "plastic with plasticizer," absolutely without any seasoning... not even salt! You can choose the dressing for the salad, but it costs extra. I've never experienced it anywhere else! The shrimp were served with garlic oil (almost no garlic), and the liquid they were swimming in didn't deserve the word "oil." More like salt water with a few drops of oil and herbs instead of garlic! Deep-fried mussels, just dry (better for playing marbles). Leaf spinach, pine nuts, and cheese (my meal only had a single pine nut in it), and unfortunately, it was creamed spinach and almost unseasoned. If it weren't for the cheese, it probably wouldn't have any flavor at all. Chicken fillet wrapped in bacon, deep-fried and rock-dry. Even plain bread was dry and tasted like it had been from the day before. All in all, we were full but not happy. Perhaps an alternative for big eaters who value "all you can eat" and quantity over quality. For us, and all three of us immediately agreed, there was no repeat factor.

Absolutely fantastic dinner, super tasty with first-class service and a pleasant atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

We had the pleasure of visiting Tapas and More and it was amazing! The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. We were particularly impressed by the variety of tapas on offer - each one a true taste experience. From savory to sweet. We were particularly impressed by the “Patatas Bravas” and “Gambas al Ajillo”. The portions were generous and the prices were more than fair for the quality. We can only recommend Tapas and More – ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or for a romantic dinner. We will definitely come back!

I tried the pizza from the tapas menu today, but unfortunately, I wasn’t satisfied. The pizza was undercooked, the dough was still raw inside, and I didn’t like the taste. When I mentioned this to the staff, instead of responding constructively, they argued that everyone else liked it, as if my opinion didn’t matter. Just because others enjoyed it doesn’t change my personal experience. This kind of attitude is disappointing in terms of customer service. I hope my feedback will be taken seriously.

We were here today as a couple with a child. The first thing we noticed negatively is that there is no option for us parents to eat all you can eat and our son to eat something from the menu. That was €14.90 for our son, who then ate dry baguette three times. Then we had to place our orders using our own smartphone as there are apparently no tablets. This is of course completely impractical if you have an empty battery or something. Well, we ordered the first course along with the drinks. The food came after 5 minutes, the drinks only after another 10, it wasn't full and we sat right next to the counter. Unfortunately the food was usually only lukewarm and really small portions (yes they are tapas but this was really mini). The taste, apart from the ribs, was also rather bland and we had the feeling that they were working with ready-made products here. Most of the dishes came quickly even when ordered, but sometimes they were very chaotic and somehow something was always missing. When you paid, you were given the device where you could give a tip if you wanted, but since we always preferred to give it in cash, we wanted to do it again today, but we didn't get around to it because the device was just taken away and we said goodbye and the waiter was gone. For us, we agree that we won't go here again because the price/performance just doesn't fit at all.

We were there in a small group and it was really great. Everything was delicious and the service was really good. At first you think a 2 hour window is tight, but we didn't need that time because you don't have to wait long for the order. It all works wonderfully and we can only recommend it.

All you can eat is not entirely correct. Within 2 hours I can order up to 5 manageable pieces every 15 minutes. That means there are no more than a maximum of 35 or 40 parts. If I'm still hungry afterwards, so be it.

We've been eating here for a long time. Unfortunately, both the quality of the food and the service have deteriorated greatly. We always take all you can eat, unfortunately it has happened several times that several items simply didn't arrive. The waiters always say there is a technical problem. Most of the time you can get the food delivered upon request. But then also 20 tappas at once. The last time we were there was on a public holiday, and while we were still eating, people were cleaning tables next door and crazy, you couldn't understand your own words. We had the feeling that the employees wanted to get rid of us because we were also the last ones. The bill was an absolute shock! For two people all you can eat and three drinks €88 without tip! Sorry but an absolutely unjustified price for the service! Especially since the price for all you can eat is €34 according to the advertising on the door!? We'll definitely be going to another tapas bar in Dortmund soon!

Four of us went to Tapas and More today. The first two laps went very smoothly. After that it became catastrophic. Approximately 15 items out of 19 were simply not brought. After waiting for ages, we decided to order dessert. After 25 minutes I asked the waiter what happened to our dessert. The waiter then appeared with our dessert. The lost or forgotten 15 items... yeah... we never saw them. Also, the quality was really, really bad. ALL! Food was ultra fatty. Our whole table was greasy... We will never appear again. At first I didn't believe the bad reviews but unfortunately they are true. Save your money.

Service very friendly. You can order via your own cell phone, 5 tapas per person every 15 minutes. Drinks as you like. You have a table for 2 hours. Orders were at the table quite quickly. Unfortunately there was a lot of fried food (seemed like convenience) but the pimentos and mushrooms were good. Went home full. The atmosphere is more like a hall than a cozy tapas bar. If there was background music, we didn't hear anything about it. Were there on a Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Service really good - very nice staff, otherwise... ...very crowded and cramped as the space is used to the maximum. There is a loud, hectic atmosphere. If you're looking for a relaxed, Mediterranean dinner, you've come to the wrong place. Since it's all-inclusive, you can feel the assembly line work vibes. Overall, the quality of the tapas is just OK - unfortunately nothing more. They're missing a pinch of "heart"... The selection, however, is good - everyone should find something. We had a 2 for 1 voucher - so it was fine for us. For the original price, it's not our thing.

That was a wonderful evening with friends. The location is first class. The staff is very friendly and incredibly quick with drinks and food. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is absolutely justified and we will definitely be coming back soon.

The many small tapas were really tasty!! Ordering with a QR code and cell phone was also really easy. The overall service was extremely good. The only thing that was unpleasant was that we had made a reservation 4 weeks in advance (due to our wedding anniversary) and the restaurant changed it 2 days beforehand. Arriving 45 minutes early from Mettmann in rush hour traffic after work was a challenge and very annoying. The only thing that bothered me about the ambience was that the chairs were quite uncomfortable.

It's very loud and rather uncomfortable, the food doesn't come at the same time, even though you ordered at the same time. And the stay is only limited to 2 hours.

My husband and I actually threw up after eating - I'm not kidding. I would like to give 0 stars, but unfortunately that is not possible. It was by far the worst food I've ever eaten, the thought of it still makes me sick. The restaurant itself is decorated quite nicely, but it was extremely crowded and stuffy - no windows were open, no fresh air, which made the whole thing even more unpleasant. I have a strong suspicion that it is just frozen food that is then simply warmed up and served carelessly. Really disappointing.

Atmosphere war schlecht. Viel zu laut und warm. Essen entweder viel zu salzig oder nicht würzig genug. Getränkte brauche 30 Min + und die Bedienung ignoriert einen so gut es geht. Zu allem Überfluss fällt die Kartenzahlung aus und es muss über 30 Minuten darauf gewartet werden, dass mit Paypal bezahlt wird. Nachdem der Chef alles korrigiert ist es trotzdem die falsche E-Mail. Nach einem Telefonat um die Bezahlung erneut zu senden werden uns eine Runde Cocktail's als Entschädigung angeboten. Allerdings nicht schriftlich. Insgesamt wirklich nicht zu empfehlen.

We liked the cold dishes. The meat and sometimes the fish dishes didn't work at all. The meat was so dry that you really couldn't eat it. The fish dishes also didn't taste good at all. It was also a bit annoying that some of the dishes came very late. We didn't get some hot dishes from our 1st round until dessert in the 5th round. Unfortunately, something was always missing in every round. The restaurant offers enough space for many guests, but the chairs are very uncomfortable and the tables (at least those for 2 people) are too small. The staff was very nice. However, we wouldn't come back.

Das positive zu erst: Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und der Bestellvorgang ging schnell u unkompliziert übers Tablet. Jedoch: die Qualität des Essens war unterirdisch. Dose auf, durch die Panade und in die Fritteuse. Wer spanisches Essen möchte, wird hier enttäuscht. Viel ist nicht gleich viel. Mit jedem Schälchen sank die Erwartung etwas Gutes zu erhalten. Selbst der Nachtisch, auf den die Bedieung schwörte, hat enttäuscht. Die Churros waren TK und mit Öl getränkt. Nutella ist keine Nutella sondern Öl. Panna Cotta versalzen. Und und und… Leider gehen wir enttäuscht hier raus. In der Mischkalkulation erscheinen die Tapas günstig, die Getränke hauen es raus. Bsp. 750ml Wasser für 9,90€. Für die TikTok-Generation vielleicht ganz nice und mit den Gutscheinen bekommt man mit der breiten Masse den Laden unter der Woche sicherlich voll. Fazit: Das Konzept ist ganz ok doch wer auf Glutamat und kaltes Essen steht, für den ist das hier richtig. Spanisch ist das leider nicht. Wir kommen nicht mehr.

First of all, the food was good but not great. The shrimp was partly mushy inside, the chorizo ​​was like it was boiled and not fried. The rest of the dishes were delicious. The service is friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the restaurant on the ground floor has very tight seating. The service staff walk very close to the table and you basically sit back to back with the neighboring table. As an overall rating I would give it 7 out of 10 points.

Wij komen al vanaf de start van het restaurant een aantal malen per jaar hier eten. Nadat het restaurant was overgenomen was het kwalitatief al achteruit gegaan. Bij ons vorige bezoek was het al tegen gevallen maar nu maar weer geprobeerd. Zo slecht heb ik het nog niet gehad, eten was koud. De gerechten werden met zeer grote tussenpozen gebracht en als laatste werd ons brood met aioli gebracht. Dit was echt de laatste maal dat wij hier gegeten hebben.

By pure chance, I went with friends who wanted to eat there with me. They had vouchers for an all you can eat tapas offer for €19.99 Normal price 33€ But I decided on a completely normal menu. On the Internet it is widely advertised that you can order everything individually. In the store it looks completely different. We were assigned a table. Despite a reservation, there were problems. It took forever until a waiter came. Then a young lady came and said directly that it is mandatory to book all you can eat for everyone sitting at the table. But I didn't want to. She just wanted to separate us like the most normal thing in the world! She cheekily handed me a tablet with individual menus on it. None. The snappy thing, which was no more than 20 years old, didn't even come close to hitting the right tone. Except for us, that's the way it was. Nothing happened. We had to call countless times to even get drinks. Four waiters were at our table. They didn't even begin to present anything, even though I consider myself to be very sociable. I was just ashamed to be in this store, which apparently specializes in "serving" large groups. I simply recommend training the employees, who all seem stressed and are happy to say, yes, that's how it is here, even if the store is full! That's not an excuse and if the tone is right, every guest will be understanding. It was such a disappointment that I no longer want to see these people. Good luck with those you can handle and firmly believe that this is how it is with you. However, no one should cheat

Tapas & More has stable food and friendly service. It was hot on the upper floor, both in terms of atmosphere and temperature, which is said to be similar to the Spanish climate (according to the service). If you want something quiet and relaxed, this is the wrong place for you, but a nice getaway with friends is exactly the right place for you. The selection of shrimps impressed me.

Today I went to Tapas and More with my girls and had a wonderful evening! The food was simply delicious, especially the tapas were super fresh and prepared with a lot of love. But the absolute highlight was the service! Our waiter was not only super attentive, but also really funny. We strolled through the city without any expectations and simply asked for 2nd free seats. We were warmly welcomed. The food was an absolute wow factor. Lots of small dishes to share and enjoy.
