It was a wonderful evening with my closest friends. The waitress, Warvin, enriched our entire evening and was fun for everyone.

Tapas & More is a wonderful restaurant that perfectly captures the Mediterranean flair. The tapas are fresh, tasty and ideal for sharing with friends. Classics such as Patatas Bravas and Gambas al Ajillo are particularly recommended. The service is friendly and attentive, the wine list is excellent. The cozy atmosphere and stylish interior make it the perfect place for a relaxed dinner. Absolutely worth a visit! Salma is the best!!

First time in Dortmund and had to try this restaurant. Such an amazing place with amazing service. I’m so grateful for Salma and her wonderful hospitality. I hope I can see her again next time when I bring my friends.

After so many positive reviews and a really good Instagram presence, we reserved a table. Since we are tapas lovers, we wanted to try this restaurant. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Convenience food at its finest. The whole fish dishes are served lukewarm and are not freshly prepared, but warmed up. The anchovies weren't fresh and that's how they tasted. The waitresses are trying hard. Very unfortunate. We cannot recommend the restaurant.

Maybe the chef just had a bad day, but unfortunately we won't be visiting again.

The restaurant is divided into two areas, in the lower one the tables and a staircase in the room rotate around, which seems a bit restless. We can't see the upper area, but it must have been very loud. Ordering is done via QR code with your own smartphone, unfortunately I didn't notice this when I skimmed the website. Free WiFi is not offered, so you have to use your own data volume here too. The service is very friendly, quick and helpful. Unfortunately there is a lack of attentiveness, but if you make a request they respond immediately. The food you order comes very quickly and is either warm or cold. Unfortunately, these are mostly medium-quality frozen products. The meat dishes had little taste of their own with sauces but ok. Unfortunately, the fish dishes were all overcooked, which is really annoying with shrimp, calamari, etc. The vegetable tapas were all very tasty, but unfortunately the dessert was all convenience products. All in one: you can do it once, but I don't have to have it again.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately some of the plates we ordered didn't arrive. There were 8 of us and we chose “all you can eat”. In the first two rounds, 5-7 ordered dishes were not served.

Great concept in a lovingly designed ambience with super fast staff! We had a really nice evening here and would like to have an establishment like this in our hometown. Despite the many guests and therefore orders, we were served very friendly and always received our orders straight away. Quality and price performance are really first class here. Highly recommended. In my opinion, there are two shortcomings that could be improved. Sauces/dips count as one item, as well as bread. The sauces should not be counted as an item or at least offered in combination. The second drawback is that you can eat for free with children under 6, although it would be a nice gesture if you could order 1 more item per child, as you quickly reach the limit of 5 items and you have to put them back yourself . Otherwise everything is great :) sometimes you get orders that you didn't order yourself, but that's manageable :)

We recently had dinner at Tapas & More and it was extremely delicious! Unfortunately, the Qr code didn't work at the beginning, but it was replaced immediately and an extra tablet was brought to us. So our waitress was also very attentive. The ordering process via cell phone always worked perfectly and the food was excellent. Since we tried almost the entire menu, I would definitely recommend the mushrooms, you could tell how fresh the ingredients were and it had a really intense taste! Desserts are also very good and perfect for the end. The drinks menu is very extensive and the drinks are also beautifully prepared. Many thanks again to the very friendly staff who offered us a schnapps at the end, which made us very happy. We'll be back. Would definitely make a reservation!

Yesterday we tried Tapas & More after going to the cinema. We didn't have a reservation, but there was a place available for two. After a short explanation of how it works (via your own smartphone), we started. So first order drinks and then five tapas per person. I somehow don't like it when food comes before drinks. But unfortunately that's how it was here. We placed the second order (you can order every 15 minutes) when the drinks arrived at the table. The service staff were friendly, but everyone was stressed and there was a lot of chaos. I also don't like it when guests no longer have any space these days. All tables are so small that they can barely fit the food and drinks for two. The taste wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. It is clearly designed for mass and speed. The drinks (non-alcoholic cocktails) were very tasty. For me there will be no repeat in this restaurant. You've experienced it once, but that's enough. It's also not cheap in terms of price. €92.90 for two people. We had thirty-five tapas and four drinks.

We had concerns right from the start because we thought that an all-you-can-eat offer from a tapas restaurant could not be accompanied by good quality. Food: The cheapest baked baguette and the cheapest canned olives. The dips were okay, but the dessert was still the tastiest thing of the evening. The potatoes were actually very tasty and were served with plenty of salt and garlic. But even the pimientos (small green roasted peppers) didn't taste good. The meatballs in the tomato sauce were not fried, but boiled - so limp and soft. The small piece of rib-eye steak was so well done that it was almost impossible to cut. The lamb chops too. The shrimp in garlic oil was comparable to a piece of rubber. Overall, I was annoyed about the food the whole way home. Service: The service really tried hard to ensure a nice evening. Nice, friendly and accommodating. The food was brought quickly and cleared away quickly. It's a shame that the food wasn't nearly as good as the service. Overall, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

I have rarely had such a disappointing experience in a restaurant. We went to a tapas restaurant but the food was far from tasting authentically Spanish. The quality of the food was really poor - it felt like the ingredients came straight from the discount store shelf and nothing was fresh or prepared with love. The dishes were extremely oily and greasy, without any taste. For the price you pay here you would expect a lot more, but unfortunately the food wasn't worth the money at all. The only positive thing to mention is the friendly staff, which couldn't hide the quality of the food. For the price there are definitely many better alternatives in the area. I really wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here.

There were four of us here and overall we found it good. The dishes are ordered via your own cell phone and unfortunately you are often on your cell phone while eating. I had two Fantas that were really low in carbonation. Overall, the dishes were quite good, but nothing was really outstanding. Would I come again for the price? Rating: An evening at “Tapas & More” – the most bizarre dinner show in Dortmund It all started so innocently: five friends, a hungry stomach, and the innocent hope of a relaxed tapas evening at “Tapas & More” in Dortmund. What awaited us, however, was a roller coaster ride between mediocre food and an absurd experience that will stay with us anytime soon. The food, well, was okay. There were olives that we passed as “not bad” with the brakes on, chorizo ​​that was so bland it should have disappeared under the table, and prawns that floated but didn’t make any waves. In short: When it comes to tapas, Dortmund certainly didn't blow us away. But then *he* came. The self-proclaimed “super boss waiter” – a guy with an eye patch whose name we neither could nor wanted to remember. Instead of a simple “Buenas noches” greeting, this heroic matador decided to swing over the restaurant railing with pirate-like elegance. What started out as a bad Jack Sparrow rip-off quickly devolved into an absurdist piece of theater that left us wondering if we'd accidentally landed in a low-budget comedy show. “Well, my BEST!” echoed across the room. A sentence that we heard about 300 times that evening - and that's no exaggeration. No matter whether he was pouring more wine (which he spilled several times) or clearing empty plates (with a loud clink), his favorite expression was always there. Every remark we made, no matter how harmless, was responded to with a “You’re my bestie, aren’t you?” Until then, we didn't realize that we had suddenly all become his *best friends*. But that's not enough. The highlight of the evening was a moment we will probably never forget: our glorious tapas guy decided that the glasses being served apparently weren't good enough for us and started throwing shards (yes, shards!) across the table. To our confusion, he combined this surreal act with an unfunny saying: “Shards bring luck, my dears!” – followed by an uncomfortable laugh. Luckily our eyes remained intact, but it was definitely not the evening anymore. The end of this bizarre performance? While we were sipping our espresso and still half in shock, the manager suddenly came around the corner. After a short but sharp exchange of words with the eye patch waiter, it turned out that his grotesque appearance had caused a stir in more than just us. As a punishment, our “favorite waiter” was sent to the kitchen during our stay to chop potatoes for a whopping 12 hours. A worthy end to a completely crazy evening. Conclusion: If you fancy mediocre tapas and are prepared to put your life in the hands of a pirate with an eye patch and too many bad sayings, then “Tapas & More” is exactly your thing. But if you just want to eat in a relaxed manner, you should consider whether you really want to experience the thrill. By the way, the cheese smelled like my ass, the brie was like it and the microbial rennet in the cheese cannulas wasn't the yellow of an egg either.

The worst thing I've ever eaten in a long time. Normally I'm a person who hardly bothers to write a review, but in this case I can't keep quiet. We were there last night and ate all you can eat. The drinks were all brought non-carbonated, imagine non-carbonated cola, after a complaint the drinks were taken away and brought back to the table after 3 minutes in the same condition, the second time we didn't say anything because it made us uncomfortable. 15 minutes later, the food we ordered arrived on time. Well, what can I say, it was a disaster. -Gambas resembled a chewing gum. -Champion was out of a can if you consider that you pay €40 to eat out of a can. -Salmon was the highlight, it was so good that no one ate it, it was so successful. And the cherry on top came with the dessert. Churros at least that's what they looked like. It tasted like rapeseed oil and was definitely not done, ah there was something else, Now you're probably thinking, hey, there really wasn't anything that tasted good!? Unfortunately not recommended for tapas connoisseurs. The menu is very basic, not to say boring. Unfortunately, I cannot understand the many positive reviews that originally motivated us to visit the restaurant. My friend and I visited you for the first time last Saturday, but unfortunately our experience did not live up to expectations. The food was disappointing: the bread was completely soggy and the aioli tasted more like mayonnaise. We only really enjoyed the breaded shepherd's cheese and the pepperoni with salt. At the end we ordered the churros as dessert, but unfortunately they mostly had a taste of old frying fat. The service was great, the drinks arrived quickly and everyone was very nice. We were really looking forward to our visit after reading the good reviews, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing.
