A Spanish restaurant with a typical ambience, sometimes quite loud, but that's part of it. Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour 20 minutes for our tapas, only to be told that the tortilla had to be served differently because there was no tuna. That was a shame and unfortunately somewhat spoils the overall impression. Everything else was delicious again, as usual.

No. The food is delicious. We always used to enjoy being there. But the service was terrible. The woman is cheeky and impudent. We won't go there anymore! We've never experienced anything like this!

In an old building, the interior is sophisticated/stylishly furnished. TOP food. Since they are often understaffed, orders take significantly too long.

The food was good! Why only 1 star? We waited 90 minutes for the food!!! The telephone reservation was not accepted, my friends all looked at me when we were told I hadn't made a reservation! Awkward !!! Yes, we still got a table, but I wanted to enjoy the evening and not get annoyed. Despite carefully listing the food, neither my friends nor we received the bill. They should pay something from us, we should pay something from them. This is particularly amusing when you consider that there is a special piece of paper with the numbers for each order that the visitor has to fill out. The waitress didn't even come to ask for drinks, we had to keep talking to the gentleman. I have read some reviews where the restaurant states that the food is freshly made. All Spaniards in Hanover make their food fresh and I know at least 6 restaurants in Hanover and I haven't waited that long anywhere. But maybe they catch their food here first in the sea? It sounds funny but it's not. We won't come again. Ergo, if you have a lot of time, like to get angry or practice mediation and like to use it in practice, you've come to the right place, otherwise not so much!!! Oh yes and relatively expensive and yes I can compare it with the competition.

We enjoyed a delicious tapas dinner: Galician-style octopus, fried anchovies, chorizo ​​in hell, grilled squid and ham. We give the ham a fair thumbs up, but the rest has been a true delight. Very good service. The staff very very friendly. We have left very satisfied.

The tapas weren't breathtaking but tasted good. My expectations of a solid, mediocre tapas bar were confirmed. The service was nice and courteous.

Unfortunately I wasn't that happy. The taps were basically delicious and actually worth 4 stars. However, the dessert, we ordered a flan, was a ready-made product and tasted very disappointing. The red house wine was easy to drink.

I came to Hannover from Japan in the evening and encountered delicious boiled mussels. The soup is really delicious. As a Japanese person, I would like to cook rice with this soup and eat it. The taxi driver also flew us from the airport at 130km/hr to guide us. I really appreciate it.

Almost an insider tip! In the middle of a residential area you come across an excellent Spaniard! It's beautifully designed inside, and you have the feeling of being somewhere else for the duration of your visit! The food is excellent and the service is friendly, reliable and courteous. Absolutely recommended for every occasion!

Not just my birthday but as often as I can I like to eat tapas there. Both the boss and the lady boss are always in the store and you get great service here too. Food 🤤😋😉

Lorenzo's tapas bar is much more than a simple tapas bar: it is a cozy corner that evokes the flavors and spirit of Spain in every detail. I discovered it browsing Google Maps in search of Spanish restaurants in the area, and although I found several options, it was this one that caught my attention. The positive feedback from other diners gave me the final push to come over and see what they could offer me for dinner. Upon arrival, the place was packed, and the wait time to get a table was considerably long. But I wasn't surprised: the warm atmosphere, the bustle of conversations and the tables full of families and friends sharing tapas and laughter were testament to the popularity of the place. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice how some German restaurants in the same or nearby areas were practically empty, which reinforced my choice. Here, people were looking for something special, and so was I. To make the wait more pleasant, the staff served me an Estrella Galicia beer, something I appreciated. Although it arrived in a San Miguel glass (a small, unimportant detail), the courtesy and attention to each customer made me feel welcome from the first moment. Once I was seated, I was able to explore the menu and find a variety of classic Spanish options. However, I missed some iconic dish such as fabada, Madrid stew or paella. But, of course, that is the chef's decision, and what they offer on their menu is enough to give an authentic Spanish experience. To start, I ordered some croquettes and a plate of Serrano ham, followed by a grilled meat. The wait for the dishes was a bit long due to the number of people, but the attentive and friendly staff made sure the experience was pleasant. They even surprised me with a fresh and delicious complimentary salad, which helped make the wait even more bearable. When the croquettes and serrano ham finally arrived, I knew the wait had been worth it. The ham, of national quality, was on point; fresh and with a flavor that made me feel at home. The croquettes were also delicious, although I must mention that their price was a little high. The barbecue, when it arrived, also met expectations: well prepared and with a flavor that reflects the care they put into each dish. One of the things that really makes the difference in this tapas bar is the service. All the staff were extremely friendly and approachable, creating a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. I was so comfortable that, upon finding out that the classic (soccer match between Barcelona and Real Madrid) was being played that day, I was about to stay to watch the game with the staff, who were surely excited about the game. If it hadn't been for my phone's low battery, I would have done it, although football is not my thing.

Delicious Spanish with friendly staff

Lorenzo...a name that already indicates that it is a Spanish restaurant. The atmosphere in the garden and in the restaurant is the same as it is in Spain. Cozy and simple. The service was perfect… the food, we only ate tapas and in a large group, was as it should be. The portions in the bowls were well filled and delicious...since there were 10 of us, we ordered a lot of tapas and placed them in the middle of the table...as is tradition in Spain. A cozy evening...we'll be back...a good recommendation 😃

The food was delicious...the service was friendly and attentive. We were very satisfied all around until we paid. We then paid the boss. When it came to paying it became embarrassing, we tipped 10 euros and unfortunately there wasn't even a thank you. Very unfortunate!!!!!! Unfortunately, once again!!! Very tasty food at the Maschseefest but unfortunately incompetent staff, unfriendly and don't serve the dishes as described and even very economical, as if you were there to taste and not to eat. I only recommend it when the chef Pedro is there. Otherwise, prefer to eat in a restaurant.

The food is okay but doesn't come close to the Spanish restaurants in Hannover-Linden. Unfortunately, the service during our visit really left a lot to be desired. The sad highlight is that the boss clearly counted the team.

Das Essen ist wirklich verdammt lecker 😋 ist zwar nicht gerade günstig, aber es lohnt sich!! Alles wird frisch zubereitet ,man sieht und schmeckt es. Vom Service kann ich nur schwärmen aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wenn Spanisch Essen immer Lorenzo. Lieber reservieren, dann ist man auf der sicheren Seite!!

We arrived at 9:45 p.m. because Google said it closed at 12:00 a.m. but they told us that the kitchen closed at 10 p.m., so we had to leave, still very attentive to us.

Really very tasty tapas! Everything is freshly prepared, so depending on how busy there may be longer waiting times. Stay relaxed, drink a delicious wine or sangria and then enjoy the tasty tapas.

Service okay so far. Only a bread basket was ordered and mussels were served. The error (we were blamed for unclear spelling) and the advertised great taste wasn't really there). Sorry, that's a no go. And to answer the local's answer. I said the number ordered and written down was that of the bread basket. The order form was subsequently fetched and confirmed by me as 45. And the mussel dish was eaten by several people. Furthermore, I personally never said that it was okay and that I would take the mussels. This statement was made by my wife. For me it wasn't okay and I personally wouldn't have taken the mussels because in my eyes the number for the bread basket was clear. I didn't say anything more about this point during the rest of the visit. Now, in my eyes, it's goodwill versus goodwill. END

Authentisches spanisches Tapas-Restaurant, in dem die Zeit stehengeblieben zu sein scheint: Holzstühle mit Weidengeflecht, gestickte Umhänge und Torero-Bilder an den Wänden, wuchtige Kunstblumen in den Vasen. Auch die Präsentation der Tapas in den roten Tonschalen wirkt etwas gestrig. Nur die Preise sind nicht von gestern: Sechs Fleischbällchen in Bratensoße ("Weissweinsoße") kosten 7,90€, fünf Datteln mit verbranntem Speck 6,50€. Die weiblichen Bedienung wirkte genervt und vermittelte nicht den Eindruck, dass sie im Service gut aufgehoben ist. Erstaunlich, dass trotzdem der Laden so voll war. Zumal das Restaurant in einem reinen Wohngebiet ohne Laufkundschaft liegt.

This restaurant is really good, but it really needs to be renovated again, you still smell like a pub at home, unfortunately. But it tastes great, unfortunately it's also very expensive, sorry, almost 20 euros for a pulpo and half of it is potatoes, no, that doesn't have to be the case

Das Lorenzo ist gemütlich, aber auch rummelig. Wenn viele Tische besetzt sind, kann es durch fehlende Schalldämmung auch laut werden. Die Bedienung war nett. Die Tapas haben weitestgehend gut geschmeckt, waren aber z. T. auch Fertigprodukte. Insgesamt finden wir die Tapaspreise zu hoch.

Wir gehen schon seit Jahren bei besonderen Anlässen zu Lorenzo und werden nie enttäuscht! Das Essen ist super lecker, die Bedienung ist sehr sympathisch und gut gelaunt !

Sind immer sehr schöne Abende dort! Essen ist extrem lecker, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Reservierungen werden leider oft zu eng getaktet, aber ist halt auch immer voll der Laden.

Wir waren begeistert von einem unglaublich gutem Essen. Und haben auch ein bisschen mehr Geld dagelassen als wir wollten. Wir wollten allerdings einfach nur noch etwas mehr ausprobieren. Wenn man in der Gegend ist. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp.

Wir kommen regelmäßig in die Tapasbar und sind jedes Mal sehr begeistert. Die Inhaber sind ausgesprochen nett zuvorkommend und freundlich und das Essen ist klassisch spanisch und einfach lecker. Während ich diese Zeilen verfasse, bekomme ich schon wieder Lust auf den nächsten Besuch. Wir kommen jeden Fall gerne wieder zu euch, denn mittlerweile seid ihr schon Freunde von uns. Ihr lieben es bei euch und empfehlen es jedem Gast.

Essen war sehr lecker, nur die Bedienung schien ein wenig überfordert gewesen zu sein. Kann aber mal vorkommen und beeinträchtigt in keinster Weise einen gelungenen Abend mit der Familie bei leckerem Essen und angenehmen Ambiente. Meiner Meinung nach bestes spanisches Restaurant auch über Hannovers Stadtgrenzen hinaus.

Nicht zu empfehlen, sehr schlechte Bedienung.

Essen war gut. Der bestellte Tisch mußte erst noch zusammen gestellt werden. Wir mußten über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten, es gab noch nicht einmal Brot vorher. Der Service war wohl vollkommen überlastet. Zwei Gerichte fehlen noch aber darauf haben wir dann verzichtet und es stand auch ein Bier zuviel auf der Abrechnung.

Es war ein spontaner Besuch. Wir werden aber bestimmt öfter kommen. Das Essen war extrem gut! Das Team ist sehr sympathisch. Es hat uns rundum gefallen und das sich schnell füllende Restaurant sprach absolut für sich.

Was soll ich sagen…einfach nur schön!!!

Wir waren mal wieder im Lorenzo. „Wieder mal“ zeigt ja schon, dass wir hier sehr gerne hingehen. Und das spricht natürlich für sich. Insbesondere im Sommer, weil man auf der grünen Terrasse einfach sehr gemütlich sitzen kann. (Drinnen leider nicht ganz so) Die Tapas sind sehr lecker und gut portioniert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt also.

Lorenzos der 4 Versuch in den letzten eineinhalb Jahren. Erneut nur befriedigend. Es hat sich nichts geändert. Ich möchte ausdrücklich betonen, dass das Essen hervorragend ist und sehr gut das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Aufgrund dieser Tatsache ist das Lokal empfehlenswert jedoch zu bemängeln ist der mangelhafte Service. Es dauert Ewigkeiten, bis jemand mal einen Tisch kommt. Dann wird man auch im Nachhinein nicht mehr gefragt, ob man was trinken möchte und man muss lange auf ein Service Personal warten Des weiteren wird hier mit zweierlei Maß gemessen, was die Reservierung betrifft. Wir wollten gerne einen Tisch draußen reservieren. Dieser wurde uns verwehrt, da draußen keine Reservierung möglich sind. Als wir ankamen und einen Tisch draußen frei war, hieß es, dass dieser reserviert wäre für eine Geburtstagsfeier. Die Dame war persönlich vor Ort. Wir haben uns nur telefonisch gemeldet deswegen haben wir draußen keine Reservierung bekommen. Das ist echt enttäuschend und wie ich finde ein No Go. Null von fünf Sterne von mir dafür. Es würde uns angeboten. Sobald der nächste Tisch draußen frei wäre, würde man uns Bescheid sagen, damit wir diesen besetzen können. Was ist passiert! Nichts! Es kam keiner mehr den ganzen Abend zu uns und hat gesagt, dass er die Straßen frei wäre. Als wir gegangen sind, waren drei Tische auf der Terrasse frei. Ich wollte sachlich an die Beurteilung und Bewertung rangehen. Jedoch war dieses hier so nicht akzeptabel. Wer leckere Tapas essen möchte und diese Abstriche zum Thema Service in Kauf nehmen kann und möchte dem ist das Lokal zu empfehlen, falls die Ansprüche ein wenig höher gesetzt sein sollten, dann bitte nicht hingehen.

Klassische Tapas Spanier mit qualitativ guten und leckeren Speisen. Außer die Aioli sagte mir nicht ganz zu, da fehlte etwas der Bums. Etwas höherpreisig. Nachtrag, wie versprochen, die Aioli hatte diesmal mehr "bums", wieder sehr gut dort gegessen, Update: Service ließ die letzten 2 Male sehr zu wünschen übrig, dauerte ewig bis jemand vorbei kam, kein Nachfragen nach Getränke, etc.

5 Sterne sind noch zu wenig. Einfach alles Klasse. Essen, Service Ambiente. Wir kommen sehr gerne hierher, wenn wir in Hannover sind.

Puh, was für eine Organisation. Vorweg: die Tapas waren sehr gut. Und wir haben einige! probiert. Leider war überbucht, mehrere Gäste(wir auch) hatten reserviert und es gab keine Tische mehr. Unsere Getränke kamen nach 60 Min(jetzt am Tisch), das Essen nach weiteren 60!! Reklamationen wurden sehr professionell gehandhabt (Wasser fehlte etc) der Service ist wirklich super freundlich, es hab auch eine Entschuldigung - dennoch: es hat einfach zuuuu lange gedauert. Dann lieber eine Absage: nein, wir sind belegt und kann sich etwas anderes suchen. Aber so: sehr ärgerlich. Aber ich möchte wiederkommen und nochmal mein Glück versuchen.

Das Essen war sehr gut, Qualität und Zubereitung waren auf den Punkt. Der Service war ok, geht aber auch besser. Wer gutes spanisches Essen haben möchte, bekommt hier was er/sie Sucht.

Wir waren schon oft im Lorenzo essen, enttäuscht wurden wir nie. Tapas sind super, Aioli die beste die ich kenne. Personal immer nett und freundlich. Es gibt nichts Negatives zu berichten. Weiter so!

Die Tapas waren sehr lecker, es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Der Service war auch gut. Der Nachtisch (Eis in einer Ananas) war jedoch noch so stark gefroren, dass man diesen erst nach einer viertel Stunde langsam essen konnte. Geschmacklich war es dennoch gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns draußen an einem Tisch gesetzt und wurden schroff darauf hingewiesen das man zu Zweit nicht an einem 4er Tisch sitzen können Daraufhin haben wir uns umgesetzt.Die Bedienung kam lustlos an unseren Tisch und nahm die Bestellung auf.Später kamen 8 Gäste die einen Tisch reserviert hatte. Das wurde wohl vergessen und man bat uns während des Essens uns umzusetzen. Das lehnten wir ab.Das Essen war mittelmäßig und viel zu teuer.Mit Abstand der schlechteste Spanier

Der Abend war wieder sehr genussvoll und schön. Immer gerne wieder. Trotz vollem Garten war das Essen früher da als angekündigt.

Heute da gewesen. Wollten zu Zweit an einem Tisch in der Sonne sitzen.Wir wurden von der " Chefin sofort aufgefordert an einem zweier Tisch zu sitzen.Wir haben una völlig verdutzt an einem Zweier Tisch gesetzt und während wir gegessen haben wurden wir wieder aufgefordert uns umzusetzen da wurden wir ungehalten. Essen war mittelmäßig

Ich esse gerne Tapas, aber häufig scheitert die Gastronomie an einem vernünftigen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Hier nicht! Jede unserer bestellten Tapas war köstlich, angemessen portioniert und nicht überteuert. Die Fleischgerichte würde ich besonders hervorheben, aber es war wirklich alles sehr lecker - auch der Cortado im Anschluss. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Da wohnen wir schon fats 30 Jahre in Lgh. und haben diese tolle Tapas Bar noch nicht für uns entdeckt. Wir haben hier köstlich gespeist, trafen auf nettes Personal und waren vom Ambiente überzeugt. Wir teilten uns zu dritt 12 verschiedene Tapas, die ausnahmslos schmackhaft waren. Auch die Größe der Portionen war angemessen. Und zum Abschluss gab es vom Haus noch einen Gratisdrink. Was will man mehr. Hier werden wir künftig öfter sein, absolut empfehlenswert !
