Delicious and authentic Indian food The visit to the Tandoori Palace Friedrichshafen was a completely successful experience. The food was not only extremely tasty, but also authentically prepared. Particularly noteworthy is the super-friendly service, which made the visit even more pleasant. The ambience is a bit opulent, which is perhaps due to my Central European taste - this is quite typical in India. Overall, a great restaurant that I would happily recommend!

Food (chicken broccoli curry) was very tasty, fresh, tasted homemade. Also dips for papadam. Very friendly, good price-performance ratio, recommended!

I was in Friedrichshafen for a long weekend. I noticed the restaurant in the old town and tried it straight away. The food was delicious. You can also tell that the quality is good because many compatriots come here to eat. The ambience matches the food on offer. Only the service could have been a little more attentive during my visit. But I'd love to come back. I was totally impressed with the taste.

It is a very good option for those who want to get to know the flavors of different cultures. The venue design and the music playing take people on a cultural journey. The sauces, pre-courses and main dishes we ate were all very delicious, especially the chicken marinated for 24 hours was very good. The employees were also very polite and friendly. Prices are reasonable considering the taste.

Sometimes we go to Tandoori for lunch. The lunch menu offers a wide selection and is relatively cheap, with prices ranging from EUR 9 to EUR 13 for a main course and a small soup of the day or salad. Unfortunately, on the plate of the main course there are e.g. Chicken curry usually has five medium-sized pieces of meat, which is not enough for us. The portion isn't small, but we don't get full. In our opinion, seven pieces would be perfect! Otherwise it's a great shop! :-) It tastes good.

One of the best Indian food I have had in Europe. The ambience was beautiful with Bollywood songs playing in the background. The server who greeted me was amazing, super friendly with recommendations, very quick and approachable and yet not hovering. I ordered the paneer pakora and Dal makhani. There was complimentary papad and chutneys served. Dal Makhani was so tasty it was better than anything I have ever had even in India. Five star experience and made a gloomy afternoon in friedrichshafen so much more brighter!! Thank you.

Delicious food, good service and nicely decorated, just some loud music if you sit directly under a speaker. Otherwise very varied menu. Thanks to the voucher book, the cheapest dish was free. Despite exceeding opening hours, the staff didn't scare away the few people who were stubborn. Thank you for the lovely evening

The food is always very good. We go there regularly, the waiters are very nice and helpful. They recently also have digital stamp cards, so going there is twice as worthwhile. 😊

Umso mehr war ich begeistert von der fantastischen Zubereitung: wahre Genussexplosionen der Saucen! Einfach ein Klasse-Restaurant - und das zu diesem Preis! Ich werde extra wieder nach Friedrichshafen kommen; nur wegen dieses Restaurants!

We came here to eat often because it is very good. For me, I always need naan bread for the sauce, which is what I ordered. After asking 3 times and they always said yes straight away and it never came. It was explained to me that it was always served at other tables. Sorry for me, never again because such delicious sauces always require naan. Unfortunately, the evening wasn't complete or satisfactory for me. We'll never come again.

Hello everyone, four people were here for lunch today. The service was quick and friendly. The food we ordered was plentiful and very tasty. I really enjoyed my lamb dish. Price performance is right.

Highly recommended! The greeting from the kitchen was very tasty, especially the mint sauce is a dream. Mango lassi fresh and not too sweet. Chicken Tandoori perfectly seasoned. Very large portions.

Excellent food with a generous "greetings from the house" as a starter. The menu has an incredibly large selection without compromising on quality. The cellar took its time, was courteous and responded to our wishes. Seating options inside and outside. Highly recommended!

The food was really good and tasty. We ordered two appetizers : salads and baked dough made of chickpeas filled with different kind of vegetables. The portions of appetizers were big and filling. So I recommend ordering only one if you can’t eat much. For the main course, we ordered mutton tandoori that came fresh sizzling in metal plate with different kind of vegetables. The meat was so soft that it melts in the mouth without chewing. The other dish was vegetarian curry paprika dish that was also super tasty with a European level of hotness. The service was really good, fast and friendly.

Helal & A culinary experience in a class of its own We had the pleasure of enjoying a 4 course meal including drinks for two at this restaurant and it was simply delicious! All dishes were halal and prepared to the highest standard. From the first course to dessert, every component was perfectly coordinated. The evening began with an exquisite starter: fresh vegetables, delicately seasoned, breaded and beautifully presented. Before that, a warm lentil soup was a perfect mix of intense flavors - you could taste the attention to detail. As a main course, we were served tender meat (chicken and lamb) with delicious homemade naan bread and rice. The meat was cooked to perfection and accompanied by aromatic side dishes. The crowning finale was a dessert that not only impressed visually, but was also a highlight in terms of taste. The portions were very large. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and inviting, very clean - including the toilets, and the service was friendly and attentive. Particularly noteworthy is the love for authenticity and the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients. An all-round successful experience – we will definitely come back if God willing!

Wir waren zu zweit und zum ersten Mal Pakistanisch Essen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Es wurde sehr ausführlich erklärt was die Unterschiede der verschiedenen Zubereitungen sind. Wir haben ein Grillmenü für zwei Personen genommen. Die vier Gänge wurden schön der Reihe nach serviert und es schmeckte sehr lecker. Das Hähnchen war nicht trocken und das Lamm ist förmlich auf der Zunge geschmolzen. Einfach perfekt!

If anyone is looking for FOOD POISONING I can definitely recommend the store. My colleague and I couldn't leave the toilet a few hours after eating because there was Indian food coming out of every opening.

Hello everyone, we went to Tandoori Palace for dinner with the family today. Unfortunately there were only small portions for a price that was too expensive and the friendliness of the staff was almost non-existent. Because of the service and the price we won't be going there anymore.

Wonderful experience! We had samosas and veg talli - perfect for 2 people. We got everything vegan. Finally a restaurant that also offers vegan naan (whole grain naan, very tasty) and the yogurt dip has been replaced. The waiters were all very friendly and the food was so, so good - and fresh. Definitely coming back!!!

Friendly service, nice quiet terrace, clean tables. Food Chicken masala, lamb with spinach and naan bread were excellent. We also got a refill of rice. Everything perfect. It would have been too hot to sit in the restaurant, so one star was deducted for ambience, but otherwise great. We'd love to come back!

Me and my two daughters love to come here and eat the delicious food. The best samosas we ever tasted. My girls love them as they are not too spicy but excellent blended with indian spices. Wow. It's been a while since we had Indie (ours closed). Person was very friendly and attentive. Ambience is quite nice but could use some cheering up. Already colorful. Order was taken fairly quickly and was fun. Asked if my dish could be spiced extra hot, "I'd like it, how hot? A little?" Thanks no, local, let it go!" "Really?" "Please, please." And what can I say... nope, nothing like that, limp. Had to add more seasoning at the table but I had already planned for that. Everything was good My mistress tried a starter of Onion Bhaji. I guess she was expecting something similar to normal onion rings, but no, they weren't crispy or crispy, but they were tasty. 1x Chicken Special with almond & vegetables in Rham sauce, wonderfully aromatic. 1x Chicken Juckni, in saffron yogurt sauce with almonds; Best Indian dish I've ever had. Of course the chicken was butter tender. And after 1½ bowls of green chillies, mine was really warm too ;-) And honestly, for the price you can hardly get such a filling, delicious portion. For something different, highly recommended.

Just went in in passing.a bit doubtful at first as no other diners there but turned out to be better than expected. Service was good food was to our liking and was enough to satisfy. Very nice clean surroundings . Soon had a few more clientele. Would go again and would recommend😀😀👍👍 only one downside only alcohol free beer and no wine. But this did not sour the experience

We had the vegetarian platter for two. 1. Aperitif: one non-alcoholic cocktail, sweet and delicious 2. a delicious vegetable soup 3. thin, crusty bread made from bean flour with caraway seeds. Plus three dips, very tasty. 4. Rice, naan and three bowls with a.) vegetable cheese balls in a spicy sauce b.) champions and broccoli in an even spicy sauce and c.) grilled vegetables such as zucchini and cauliflower in a spicy coriander sauce. 5.) Dessert of your choice or coffee The food was a hit in everything, very spicy and tasty. Exotic spices are used in combination, such as fennel in the soup, which creates an interesting taste experience. The people there are very nice, but unfortunately they all speak German very poorly. But I'm fine with English.
