Yummy food, nice ambient and buffet on Weekends

The overall experience was good. A little expensive, specially cold drinks and tea which are not included in buffet.

Fake advertising. The three of us went out to eat. There was no buffet at 6:00 p.m. There was food without a place setting. We decided to leave as the hygiene in the restaurant looked terrible. It is not recommended for anyone to eat there.

I recently visited Tandoori Nawab and had a fantastic experience overall! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that really hit the spot. However, I did notice that the music was a bit too loud at times, which slightly affected the otherwise peaceful vibe. But aside from that, everything else was top-notch—from the service to the cleanliness. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience with authentic Pakistani cuisine in Berlin.

He cruelly spams some groups on Facebook every day. The concept doesn't seem to work if you constantly have to spam advertising in groups. The advertising also shows buffets that are not on site, but from the Internet. I would advise against it

I heard a very negative comment about tandoori nawab but Ali Asfand invited me to test everything and it's amazed and it's quite delicate delicious and homemade aroma of all dishes in this buffet especially the service is outstanding.

I've been here couple of times we celebrated our sons Birthday here. FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, AUTHENTIC and EXELENT. They use Fresh products! It's a complete Family Restaurant, you feel verry cosy and comfortable nice atmosphere. The Brunch Buffet has a lot of variety! I love the Baturas and Naans, its refilled quickly also. the best pakistani/ Indian Reaturant in Tempelhof. Really recommended! Will visit again for sure. The owner surely knows how to run a good Restaurant.

We've been here several times and the food has always been very good. In addition, the staff and the owner are really nice and accommodating. I can recommend it. In addition: We were there again today and had the buffet. I have to be honest and say I don't understand the review. The restaurant is the best for me here in Berlin. I lived in England for 3 years and it is very similar to the food. Unfortunately I can't say that about many Indian/Pakistani restaurants.

We reserved through Groupon and had a voucher. We were warmly welcomed. We were asked if we could speak English, which didn't bother us. We were offered to eat from the buffet for 2.50 euros per person. We did this too. Everything was very tasty and warm. Dishes were refilled upon request. Everything was without problems. This is one of the worst Pakistani restaurants I have ever visited. The food quality was extremely disappointing. The lamb had an unpleasant, raw odor, and the biryani was nothing more than bland, yellow-colored rice. I would never recommend this place, especially if you're going with foreign friend.

The restaurateurs understand NO English and certainly NO German!!! Sat ALONE in the store...!!! Yogitee only came after dinner. They said only 1 soup and 2 arrived anyway!!! The meal went like this (there was little meat). Drinks took a very long time! The waiter simply kept a 0.30 cent tip :-( !!! WE DON'T NEED THIS AGAIN...!!!

In my opinion, a case for the health department. We were there with a Grupon voucher for a 4-course menu that had already been reserved in advance. On site there was a completely overcrowded shop with a bartender, a waitress and a kitchen worker. After we gave the waitress our voucher, it took what felt like an eternity until she appeared at our table again (in the meantime, two couples near us had already gotten up and went to the table). Some left complaining loudly) We couldn't allow ourselves this luxury because the voucher had already been given. The service person then appeared for drinks and kept telling us something about the buffet, first explaining in German and then in English that we had booked a 4-course menu. She then disappeared and never came back. So we asked the gentleman behind the bar and the result was that our 4-course menu was not possible due to a lack of staff, but we could eat a buffet, which we then gritted our teeth and tried. The buffet was HORRIBLE, first there were no plates then no rice (fun fact on the side because you If you couldn't keep up with cooking the rice, the large server spoon from the rice bowl was promptly confiscated and replaced with a tablespoon, which meant that after 3 tablespoons of rice at the latest you were looked at badly because you caused an ever-long traffic jam. I saw lentil soup because it was There were no bowls all evening but we didn't eat. After 3-4 people, the chicken meat, which was only contained in homeopathic doses in the chicken curry, was all gone again, i.e. curry sauce with rice. The last time I tried it, I was standing directly at the pot with the chicken breast when the chicken meat was refilled, so I spread a good portion of it over my 3 spoons of rice to proudly go to the table and share the meat with my family. The result was that all 4 of us were after it bad because the meat was unfortunately still frozen inside...

Visited the Restaurant especially for the Buffet they were offering. Every single dish included in the Buffet was delicious. It was a delightful experience.

The place, in addition to being beautiful, the food is great, when they have a buffet it is great you can try everything and the owner is a sweetheart, you can ask him about the dishes and he kindly explains how it is made. I tried a couple of desserts that I loved, I had never tried something so delicious. And like a good Mexican, the dishes have the perfect spiciness and if you want more they have very good sauces, something difficult to find in Berlin. 👌 Super recommended, sometimes you have to have a little patience since the place is very busy but it is 100% worth the wait. 😉

The quality of food compared to other Pakistani food restaurants is very poor. I'll not recommend it.

I’ve visited this restaurant twice — once in 2023 and again in 2024 — and they’ve significantly improved their food quality! During Ramadan, they offer Iftar Buffets which offer a variety of Indian & Pakistani dishes (both meaty and vegetarian). Last year, taste was so-and-so and I didn’t recommend as such. The pictures you see are from this year and the food really was up to mark. During the buffet, they served up empty dishes fairly quickly. Yes some delays are expected but understandable they’re only humans at the back. Dates are served for everyone fasting. Service is great with super friendly folks asking around if we needed anything. Water and drinks are not included so either bring your own bottles or buy up. Tea was meh, wouldn’t recommend it. Halwa was spot-on and was served soon after the dinner. Would suggest you get your share before it runs out! Menu depends on the day. Call up and ask them if you’d like to know beforehand. Highly recommend you reserve the seat 3 hours before you go (atleast during the buffet). Have fun!

We stayed here with a Groupon voucher. Unfortunately, the lentil soup was very thin and didn't taste original either. The main course was OK and tasty but so was the dessert; 2 dough balls in honey water (not my thing). What looked very tasty, however, was the Ramadan buffet. If we had known that, I would have preferred to eat it. The atmosphere is a bit old. Unfortunately there was only one service person who was very busy and therefore didn't come by often.

Worst store in Berlin. I've been waiting for my order for 2 hours. Lady on the phone rude and arrogant! I order from the delivery service quite often because of my job and have experienced a lot but never anything worse than this! No customer orientation, instead arrogant, annoyed and bored staff! To the owner… if your store is important to you then train your staff or better yet, look for new ones immediately. Once and never again !!! Pure waste of money!

Purchased a voucher for 2 via Groupon. 4 other tables were occupied. Completely overwhelmed staff consisting of 2 service staff. 1 hour waiting time for the lentil soup. The UberEats and delivery orders were probably brought forward.... Tables were not cleared during the 2 hours we were there. Used glasses were piled up at the counter

The food was tasty friendly staff overall nice place

First of all, the atmosphere isn't nice, it's very run down, it smells musty, you don't even want to talk about such a disgusting toilet and it was super cold. There was very little food, the taste wasn't great, and it was very heavy on our stomachs.

We were there for the 4-course menu with a voucher. Starter ok, main course catastrophe, wrong food at the table etc. Toilets absolutely unacceptable. No heating, no alcoholic drinks, service doesn't speak German, sorry. Absolute no go. I don't want to go into more detail about the tolerance of the food. Entrance smelled very musty and was not appealing.

Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants kommt einem ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch entgegen, eine Mischung aus Feuchtigkeit und Toilette. Ambiente ist akzeptabel, allerdings nichts Besonderes. Bedienung spricht relativ schlecht deutsch, dies ist nicht weiter schlimm, sie erledigt ihre Arbeit, nicht mehr und nicht weniger! Es gibt in diesem Restaurant keinen Alkohol, was ich persönlich, besonders am Samstagabend als großen Nachteil empfinde, ein Glas Wein gehört für mich einfach dazu! Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, dennoch uberwiegt für mich dort das Negative, so dass ich dort nicht mehr einkehren werde.

Boxing Day - We were the only guests from 6 p.m. The all-you-can-eat buffet was set up, but since we didn't know how long the food had been available, we ordered dishes from the menu. The heaters were off, it was really cold. The soups were great, the veal dish too, the samosas were the best I've ever eaten! At the end there was a very tasty Yogi tea. We'd love to come back.

After waiting over two hours and calling over twenty times, you were finally able to contact this store by phone. It is then reported that the driver was supposedly standing at the door and contacted us accordingly, which is not true. After several conversations, she is brazenly told that she doesn't have time for the delivery, that she should cancel and is hung up on. I have never seen such audacity! Disgraceful and not recommended at all!! Tried for the first time and that was also the last time!!

Wir kamen mit einem Groupon-Gutschein für ein Vier-Gänge Menü. Uns wurde angeboten, uns stattdessen am Buffet zu bedienen. Wir haben das Angebot angenommen und es nicht bereut. Alle Gerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt, waren super gewürzt. Auch der Mangolassi und der indische Tee waren sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und mit Handschlag verabschiedet. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den netten Abend.

Im Rahmen von groupon ein sgn. 4 Gänge Menü erhalten. Im Restaurant selbst riecht es unangenehm, vielleicht Feuchte, da Altbau. Es war auch nicht geheizt und somit schon einmal eher ungemütlich. Das Essen war indischer Minimalismus für Deutsche, keine raffinierten Gewürze, wenig Frisches, das einzige Frische war ein Mini Salat für 2, mit Eisbergsalat, 3 Radieschenscheiben, 1 Gurkenscheibe und fad schmeckener Tomate mit Fertigdressing. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen.

Es war dort sehr ungemütlich, kalt und alter Kneipengeruch. Das Essen war erträglich, halt nur Aufgewärmtes. Wir waren zu zweit dort am späten Nachmittag und die einzigen Gäste. Nochmal werde ich da ganz sicher nicht mehr hingehen.

Noch nie schlechteres Mittagsmenu gegessen. Werde ich nie wieder zum Essen aufsuchen.

Von außen sieht das Lokal sehr unscheinbar aus. Wir ließen uns von den guten Bewertungen leiten und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es gab einen kostenlosen Salat als Vorspeise und auch die Auswahl der Speisen ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben für Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Getränke pro Person ca 20 Euro gezahlt.

Wir hatten einen GROUPON-Gutschein und für 11.20 pro Person ein hervorragendes 4 -Gänge Menü mit Linsen-, bzw. Gemüsesuppe, Salat, Linsencrackern, Mango-Lassi, Hauptgericht (Chicken Curry plus veg. Curry) sowie Nachtisch genossen. Es waren wirklich! große, sehr frische Portionen von sehr hoher Qualität. Der Service schnell und sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung!

Vielfältige Auswahl von Fleisch, Lamm, Hähnchen, vegetarisch bis zu Gemüse, begleitet von einer leckeren Linsensuppe, frischem Bhatura Brot und knackigem Salat. Authentischer Geschmack, freundliches Personal und tolles Ambiente. Empfehle es definitiv weiter!

Mehr als 45 min warte Zeit bei einem Laden der voll ist würde ich verstehen aber wo Mann der einzigste Kunde ist es sehr fragwürdig nach Nachfrage hieß es immer es wird Zubereitet 5 min dauert es noch das wurde uns ca 5 mal gesagt bestellt wurden 2 gerichte und Brot frage mich wie es so lange dauert kann

Absoluter Katastrophe laden Das ganze Essen hat mit der menü Karte nichts zu tun die preise stimmen auch nicht. Ich bereue das da was gegessen bzw bestellt habe bin selber abholen gegenagen.Bin mir nicht mal sicher ob das ganze frisch war nicht wundern wenn mann Lebensmittel Vergiftung hat oder bekommt. Ich kann mich nur aufregen Sauberkeit am Tresen ohne worte. Er soll sein laden schließen. Nie wieder indisches essen das steht fest.

Überheblicher Kellner, mittelmäßige indische Küche. Werden bestimmt nicht noch einmal dort hingehen, dafür gibt es zu genüge bessere und freundlichere indische Restaurants in Berlin. Man merkt, dass es ihnen zu gut geht und sie keine Lust auf Kundschaft haben. Keine Empfehlung!

Sehr gute zurückhaltende Bedienung essen sehr lekker zum fairen Preis ES ist nicht alles so schlecht in Berlin wie es überwiegend suggeriert wird.

Ich persönlich habe nicht wirklich etwas negatives über den Laden zu sagen. Ich esse aber auch nur ein Gericht dort seit Jahren und bin super zufrieden. Auch die Preise sind voll innordnung.

Essen zum Mitnehmen ist super, bisher immer lecker. Ambiente dort zum Essen nicht einladend. Restaurant gibt an per EC bezahlen zu können, aber das Gerät scheint überwiegend "kaputt", ziemlich nervig.

Ich weiß nicht was ich dazu sagen soll… ich habe noch nie Essen mit solche Zustand erhalten. Die Soße ausgelaufen beide Gerichte und die Soße ist gefühlt nur aus Öl oder Butter. Also ich ich liebe indische oder Pakistanische Essen aber dieses Essen war sehr weit entfernt.

Das Essen im Restaurant ist wirklich lecker und zu empfehlen. Waren mit einem Gutschein dort und es macht keinen Unterschied zu normalen Gästen. Aber man muss schon ein wenig Zeit mitbringen, da es nur eine Bedienung gibt.
