Excellent food and a good selection of Asian specialties. The portions are large enough and the price is good value for money. Since it is always quite full, you should definitely reserve in advance, especially on weekends/holidays, especially if you are a larger group. The waitresses are busy, so you should order drinks when someone passes by the table, otherwise you might be left stranded for a while! It was nice here and we would like to come back...

I wanted to eat sushi. Walking around Erfurt, this restaurant caught my attention. I ordered a set and a soft drink and waited. There were not many people, I was served sushi. And then it began... the sushi sticks turned out to be plastic and very slippery, and the tempura sushi, of course, with a fried crust in oil, you just couldn't hold them and they rolled like a sled down a mountain with snow, besides, the sushi couldn't fit in mouth, they were so big, although they were dominated by rice, not a fish. It was an attraction to hold the roll with chopsticks for the 9th time, bring it to your mouth, and then neither bite it, because it will fall apart, nor put it in your mouth, because this is a restaurant, not a kitchen at home. I just took one piece of sushi with my hands, and I thought, what am I paying for here? In general, trash... in addition, the set itself was already served covered with a huge amount of mango sauce, but it was too salty, so soy sauce would have been too much. I wiped the sauce from the sushi with a paper towel, my pancreas hurt all evening. Change: throw away the plastic chopsticks, or make the cook eat from them himself three times a day. Increase the amount of fish, reduce the amount of rice, adapt the size of the rolls to the standards. Serve the sauce separately to the dish! The client decides the amount of sauce for himself! Firstly, the sauce is extra calories, and secondly, if it is too salty and spoils the taste of the dish, it is not ok.

Many thanks to the waiter, who patiently advised us on our choice of dishes despite the full house. The food was very tasty and any special requests were responded to courteously. The atmosphere is very festive at Christmas time. The service is very nice and understanding. The food was very tasty and I would say that it is the best sushi restaurant in all of Erfurt.

The staff was annoyed and arrogant. It took far too long before we could order. It took another 50 minutes for the starter to arrive. There was simply no heart in the service, mass processing without any connection to the guest. Food was ok.

I was there today for my birthday. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy, the food and drinks are very tasty and the choice of dishes is varied and large. The service was annoying. She seemed quite annoyed and no further requests for dessert or drinks were asked. The drinks and food were empty and no attention was paid to you at all... I was only able to pay after I had informed the other employees twice. So...food delicious and highly recommended, service very bad today.

A good Asian fusion restaurant that actually deserves more than three stars. There are simply much better restaurants in this category in Erfurt. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was pleasant, very large and open. The red Thai curry with duck also tasted good, the meat was tender and crispy, the vegetables were crunchy, and the quantity was sufficient. Unfortunately, the curry was seasoned a bit boring overall. There's more here. If you go to Takumi you can't go wrong. But there are better alternatives.

We expected much more due to the good reviews and many occupied tables. Had chicken teryaki - the vegetables were undercooked and not really fried. The sauce was probably not homemade and tasted quite salty, not intense. The meat had pieces of cartilage and didn't seem that high quality to me. In terms of quality, it's more of a typical fast food meal for me, which is a shame. The ambience is nice, only inside it smelled more like a fast food restaurant.

The food is really good and always well prepared

I wasn't aware that it's better to make a reservation here. So I went to the staff as an individual and asked for a place. Although everything was well occupied and the remaining tables were blocked with reserved cards, there was a small table for two in the outside area for me. Within seconds I had the cards in my hand and received my order within a few minutes. Wow. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and the portion size. The service staff is very helpful, extremely friendly and quick. Super! I would be happy to come back and can recommend a visit here with a clear conscience.

My son turned 13 and we got a table outside. Everything was clean and very well maintained, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were at Takumi Erfurt for the first time today and were very impressed. Varied menu, great ambience (also in the outdoor area), very friendly and attentive service and... super delicious food. My girlfriend and I went there for dinner, also because of the good reviews. I can't understand this at all, I think because of the location mainly tourists go to this restaurant. In her opinion, my friend's sushi was at best okay...for the price. I had a bowl of fried salmon for a whopping €17.90, so I thought wow, something is coming. Yes, something came and I have never been so disappointed and annoyed at having paid so much money for this meal. There was lettuce at the bottom of the bowl, a few toppings on top and a piece of salmon weighing perhaps a maximum of 80 grams, you could hardly see it. The rice was carelessly added, it normally belongs in the bowl. I really found that to be rude. Service totally overwhelmed and well, what can I say, I'm still extremely disappointed. A lot of hype about nothing, there are much better sushi restaurants in Erfurt. A pity. But the location definitely attracts the crowds, but it still doesn't change the quality.

Takumi Sushi Bar is a real highlight in Erfurt! We ordered a bowl there and it was delicious. The price is reasonable and the quality and food were excellent. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to wait long for our food and our waiters always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The restaurant was very busy, so it is recommended to reserve a table. We were lucky to get a free table, but I would definitely recommend a reservation.

To err is human and can happen - especially when you're serving so many tables at the same time. Nevertheless, based on incorrect information, I ordered a drink that I actually didn't want. Then you shouldn't acknowledge my request to take the untouched drink off the bill with an uncomprehending shake of your head as you walk away. Overall it's still a good restaurant. Thanks to the supervisor, who then accepted my complaint.

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier, hatten eine Vorspeise für zwei mit vielen verschiedenen Sachen und als Hauptgericht hatten wir gebeizten Lachs und einmal Ente. Alles war gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Vom Gewürz hat mir etwas der Kick, der in solchen Restaurants meist den wow Effekt auslöst, gefehlt. Das war schade, aber dennoch kann man das Takumi empfehlen. Der Service war in Ordnung.

We ate at Takumi for the first time... Landed by chance and didn't regret it. Great sushi at reasonable prices, friendly staff, sometimes there is a problem with understanding but that doesn't really matter. Located on a very lively street, if you like hustle and bustle this is the place for you.

Da es ein warmer Abend war, saßen wir im Außenbereich. Leider ist dieser nicht so ansprechend, bzw. verleiht kein asiatische Flair. Wir würden empfehlen, immer innen zu sitzen. Das Essen war lecker, aber leider gab es andere kleine Mängel. Wir mussten 25 Minuten warten bis die Getränke + das Essen aufgenommen wurden. Die Gläser die uns zu unserem japanischen Bier gebracht wurden hatten sehr viele Wasserflecken, wirkten schmutzig. Wir ließen uns neue bringen, welche aber die alten waren, etwas ausgeschwenkt und drüber gewischt. Wir haben dann unser Bier aus der Flasche getrunken. Dass Essen kam recht zügig, war sehr nett angerichtet und hat auch sehr lecker geschmeckt.
