One of the best ramen places! The tantan ramen is a must-try. They also have a great selection of side dishes like gyoza and takoyaki. If you prefer ramen with beef or pork, their other outlet in the city is worth visiting too

For those who enjoy traditional Asian food, this is a must-stop! One of the best service I've had in Munich is a very family-friendly restaurant, the staff is very attentive and friendly, and it's the best ramen I've ever had! The gyoza was also delicious! I highly recommend it.

Very good ramen. Great selection; I went there twice in four days and I loved it. Great flavor, large portions. A very spicy, harmonious broth. The shop is a bit small and not exactly a sight to behold, but the food is very good.

The best Ramen Shop in Munich's central area! Its small and sometimes it can be quite busy but if you're coming here for lunch on a weekday you'll always find a nice spot to sit down. The food is great and the staff are very friendly and conversational. The perfect spot for a quick and cosy lunch!

very tasty ramen & gyoza. The only issue is that when I asked for a bit more of spice in my ramen, they said i could buy a bottle of hot sauce? but i only wanted a small drizzle, since the ramen was not spicy enough for me.The place is a bit too small and the prices are on the higher end, but one of the tastiest ramens i had in munich, so i would not complain.

The price-performance ratio is very low. The most expensive ramen in Munich costs 20 euros per bowl! But after eating it, I don’t think it’s worth 20 euros at all. I don’t think it’s particularly delicious. The price is too high. It’s getting less and less delicious, but the price is getting higher and higher. Overall, it’s not very good!

The ramen portions are too large for me, so I order something else. I've never been disappointed. Sometimes you have to wait in line, but there's always room for one person.

The Japanese waiter was amazing—super friendly and helpful! He even offered to take our picture while we were snapping selfies. When our kid accidentally spilled a drink, he just smiled and cleaned it up like it was nothing. The food was delicious too—loved everything!

Was my favourite place to go during work weeks as I could get the takoyaki on special. Even now I organise days to go because I do love the food here. Can only recommend stopping here if you are hungry and in the mood for ramen.

Takumi Ramen never disappoints, top quality ramen. I love the yuzu ramen, the broth is so elegant and light yet very flavorful. Their Vegi ramen selection is also great, never lacks of flavor. The only problem is that it is a bit noisy and crowded, especially during weekend. High chance that you will have to stand and wait outside for quite some time during weekend for a table. But if you have plenty of time, it’s worth the wait 🙏. Outside of that everything is great!

We arrived and had to seat ourselves because we waited longer. There were still dishes uncleared on the table. Then we had to wait 15 minutes until we could order. In between, another guest pushed forward and ordered straight away and was immediately seated. We had the curry twice and two still waters for €41.40. Bottomless.. really completely bottomless and the curry was an imposition. We had the curry with crispy chicken and it was the veggie curry from two days ago. A mini piece of chicken wasn't even warmed up properly and was just mediocre. At home I can eat leftovers cheaper and I can always cook better. Extreme disappointment. Stay away from this store!

Super tasty frames, very friendly service. Sharpness is also German sharpness ;) I can definitely recommend it to frame fans.

I am an Asian and my European husband, we chose to eat at this restaurant. First, we don’t speak German, but the waiter kept speaking German to us. That felt a bit rude and made us feel uncomfortable. We were disappointed because this is not even a German restaurant, but the service was worse than most German places we’ve been to. Since they serve Japanese food, we expected better service to be more polite, like in Japanese culture. In other German restaurants, the staff usually ask if we speak German or English first. But this place didn’t do that, so we don’t think it deserves a 5 star rating for the service. One more thing, they didn’t even notice that I’m half Japanese, and I bowed to them. It was a bad experience. I recommend the Düsseldorf branch instead. They are very polite and friendly there.

A real treat – 5 stars for Takumi! Takumi at Viktualienmarkt is an absolute must for ramen lovers! The vegan and chicken ramen taste great - intense broth, perfect noodles and fresh ingredients. What's particularly great: the selection for vegans is not just an emergency solution, but made with real love. The team is friendly, attentive and the atmosphere is relaxed - perfect for a short break in the middle of the city. It certainly wasn't the last time I was there. Clear 5 stars!

The food was good, as every Takumi ramen shop. I have been to several branches but this one fairly disappoint. I was very disappointed by the service. The staff was extremely rude, we were treated poorly and spoke rudely to us as we did not speak German. Moreover the Japanese draft beer served tasted bad, as if the beer had gone old. The waiting time to get our orders taken was very long even if the restaurant was almost empty.

On the weekends, the place is small and crowded. We asked for pictures. The employee responded to all our inquiries regarding the meat and the contents of the meal with great courtesy. The prices are a bit high.

The broth was good and the chicken was well seasoned and tender. The amount of food is ok for the price. Service was very friendly. It was pretty packed at noon on a Monday. But the atmosphere was chill.

Very nice service, you wouldn't have to wait long and the food is excellent like the original 😍 Just a warning if you're a little more popular like me, you might have trouble getting out of your seat after eating Benches and tables are fixed and a bit close together but thanks to the good weather we were able to sit outside and that worked out better 👍

We go to Takumi very often for ramen. The quality and taste of the ramen vary greatly from day to day. Sometimes you find days when the ramen tastes really good, but sometimes it's just mediocre. The prices are really expensive, but typical for Munich. What I really don't recommend are the takoyaki and the kimchi. Both taste like they're ready-made products, which isn't worth the price. It's best to stay away from those, but the wakame salad is very tasty. Whether you have to wait in line also depends on when you arrive at the restaurant.

Unfortunately it doesn't come close to Düsseldorf, but it's perfectly fine

We arrived there for lunch on a public holiday. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. We ordered one of the special ramen, -the creamy white tan tan men-, one of the "simple" ramen and the vegan gyoza. Everything was tasty, although honestly I could not taste a difference between the "special" and the "simple" broth and I found the special dish quite pricey. The service was really-really good! I would probably visit again to try something different.

I give it one star. I came on the recommendation of Tik-Tok, the establishment is nondescript from the outside. The sign at the entrance says payment by card only. I was very upset about this because I didn’t have a card and they didn’t accept cash😞

Is very hard to choose which style, all look delicious, finally I pick the signature and miso one, the noodles is so tender and fresh, chicken soup is so delicious, it brought up the Sapporo memories…

Very good shop! We had to wait a bit at first because the restaurant is very popular. The food was very tasty and the portions were really large. Service is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the shop is a bit small and therefore very cramped at times, but the atmosphere is still very nice and traditional. Would love to come back.

I love the ramen, but the quality has dropped a bit. I can't say exactly what's different, but it doesn't taste quite as good anymore. Also, the karaage chicken for the soup arrives soggy.

The food is very, very delicious, but the service is unfortunately very poor. We were there on a Saturday and were completely ignored for a long time. After that, they forgot to take our order, bring drinks to the people next to us, etc. Two waiters for such a busy day are definitely not enough. What a shame!

Best Ramen in Town, there's nothing more to say 😃 Our absolute favorite for a long time and my personal favorite Ramen is the limited Paitan Ramen, I often come alone, just eat quickly, enjoy and leave again. It is not a place to linger for a long time, but out of consideration you should not occupy the seats for too long because there is usually a large crowd. There are plenty of other places for longer, cozy evenings with friends. We've tried a few other ramen, and other soups with even hand-pulled noodles, but no one comes close to this ramen as a whole.

We ordered a ramen and a fried pumpkin starter. We waited to be seated around 15 minutes, and eventually, we were seated with another couple on the same table (after they approved it's OK with us). The food was amazing! We really recommend it, and we will come back again!

The ramen is okay. It’s really over-hyped in my opinion. I guess it’s successful because there isn’t much competition for ramen in Munich. Because of this, it’s also very expensive for a bowl of ramen. It doesn’t seem very authentic or traditional. They offer a wide range of styles which makes me think they do many things okay, but don’t specialize in any one style. The tantanmen (担々麺) wasn’t bad actually. I’d recommend this over there other, more extravagant menu items.

I highly recommend their R02 Mala Peitan (spicy chicken soup ramen), flavorful chicken soup with Al dente ramen noodles. If the fried chicken in soup could be as crispy as the side dish Karaage, it will be even better. This place does not take reservations. If you visit here alone, you will be most likely seated at the bar without long waiting time. But if you come with a group then longer waiting time is expected. The chicken soup ramen here is great. Hopefully they can take reservations.

It's far from worth the hype. I paid €50 for two rather bland soups, two bland green teas, and one gyoza. The soups are average in size. The service was nice, but not very good or even exceeding expectations, and the loud music makes you want to devour the overpriced food quickly. It obviously increases their sales. I went here because it has such good reviews, but apparently, as with many Munich restaurants, the image is more important to Munich residents than the content. As I said, the soup lacks flavor, the meat is probably only average quality, and the noodles are also pretty "out of a bag." The long line outside is unjustified.

The food is simply fabulously delicious! Try everything you can! The vegan jackfruit curry and the steamed chicken in the soup are delicious! Very creative images beautify the room, and the Asian music in the background completes the experience.

I love frames at Takumi!!! It's so delicious! Every time we want to have a special experience, we come here. All the frames I have tried so far have been excellent. The shop itself is of course very small, loud and unfortunately a little uncomfortable. But when it comes to food, you accept that.

The food is average. I can do it better at home. We were placed close to the entrance and constantly felt the cold draft on our necks. Very uncomfortable. The staff is on their toes and you get a large portion for your money.

Had 2x vegan ramen The taste is not really intense as you would expect from ramen. The portion of kimchi (max. one heaped tablespoon) for just under €6-7 makes you feel a bit ripped off. Service cold and impersonal. Ambiance ok

A great restaurant that offers excellent service and food. The furnishings are simple and functional. You feel very comfortable. Only in cold seasons does cold air come in directly from the entrance, as there is no curtain to slow down the cold air.

Chicken ramen broth was very tasty, creamy and not salty, came with karaage chicken and chicken thigh meat slices, the noodles were nice and firm!

Very good food. Attention is paid to details. Everything tastes as it should. The service was very good, but also very, very busy. As I understand it, you can't make a reservation - you have to wait in line. People stood outside. But the food was so satisfying that I had no problem with it. Everything was organized in Japanese, as I know it from Japan. The taste is largely "authentic", but since "authentic" doesn't automatically mean "good", I don't count that - but here it means "good". I'll remember the store and will come back. To the operators: I hope you pay very well for your service. The staff is really busy and always super friendly.

Never tried chicken on ramen before but i just wanna say, I recommend a 100 percent!!! Might wanna go a little early (or really late) tho, we waited 15-20mins to get a seat because the place is small but worth the wait! We had Creamy white tan tan men, Chicken Donburi, takoyaki and everything was good!

Very small restaurant at the end of IsartorPlatz. Mostly Japanese soups are offered, but they are very tasty and filling. However, it is too narrow and not very comfortable to stay for a long time after eating.

Yesterday we were at Takumi, when you come in you first notice a great smell, but before we got there we had to wait 20 minutes. There are small benches right in front of the door. We also read in the reviews that you have to wait, so we were prepared for it and if it's good it's no problem in Japan it was no different. It's all super tight and small... the table next to us where 4 can sit, for example, 2 were sitting and a strange couple was seated next to you... we feel like we're sitting 1.5-2m next to them on the small benches, my neighbor behind me It's literally back to back, so you have to lean forward so you don't touch the person sitting behind you. We sat on the right as we came in, i.e. the whole crowd that comes in is waiting longingly for someone to finally get up and they can eat, i.e. everyone is looking at you non-stop and in what felt like 5 square meters in the entrance area there were 7 people looking annoyed... and I like that Absolutely not, I felt super uncomfortable and then in the end I really had to look away completely and ignore it and people actually went to the people who work there and said in annoyance “how long is this going to take?” we were sitting right in front of it and maybe Waited 10-15 minutes for our food and then sentences like this started and the waiters looked at people's plates and I thought to myself, how would he know that and so automatically a strange atmosphere prevailed, I hope you understand what I mean. The shop is quite small and too cozy for my taste. The ramen wasn't bad but it wasn't particularly good either. I have to say I definitely want to go there and I'll remember it. Maybe Japan set me higher on the measuring scale, but even in New York... it was significantly more intense. In my opinion there was a lack of power. But I think it's comparatively impossible to find something in Munich, so yeah - an average for Munich standards. You can - but you don't have to. It arrived lukewarm. The starters were good, they really impressed me more, especially the chicken pieces were fantastic. The egg through... yes, dear people, what can I tell you. Again, not in a tight spot. You have to want and like to be so close to people. 2 drinks, 2 ramen, 2 starters pretty much exactly 60 euros.

The food is always amazing! I've never had bad food there and the staff is really friendly and accommodating. The food has always come within 15 minutes, but on Friday and Saturday evenings it is difficult to get a table and there are longer waiting times in front of the door, which is understandable given the good food! The only thing that bothers me a little is the tables, they are quite low compared to the benches and therefore a little uncomfortable after a while. Overall a great restaurant and one of my favorites. Really recommended!

The food is excellent. As a vegan it's a dream, so many things to try and everything is delicious. Unfortunately our service was a bit disinterested. We completely understand if you have to wait because there is a lot going on, but a little more politeness would be nice next time :)

Pretty good Ramen and really tasty broth. Service was also nice and it wasnt too crowded when we went to eat there. Takoyaki was also really delicious.

The sitting solution is not great. If you have back problems see that you can handle it before committing. The food itself was great. Vegan food is clearly marked and there are many options. The server bowls are big enough to fill you up for many, many hours. Acoustics were good enough to chat. The staff's English is limited. You can order in English, but it's better you know some German.

Highly recommended. I was just in a hurry to find something to eat, but I didn’t expect it to be so delicious. I immediately brought my friends to eat it again the next day! It’s also convenient to bring a vegetarian friend with you, as there is a chicken option. There is also a cute little sister who can speak Chinese! So vegetarian and tourist friendly!

This is the best thing my tongue has experienced since the beginning of my existence. Ever since I've known this store, I've been willing to sell my organs just to experience this taste explosion again and again. I don't even want to know how much money I've already left behind, but the fact is, I'll do it again and again. This shop is the only thing stopping me from emigrating because it is now the only shop where I want to eat for the rest of my life. Whoever came up with the recipes for all this vegan ramen, I am eternally grateful. I adore this ramen, I dream about it, and I'm having withdrawal symptoms. I can't live without this store anymore.
