The ramen is super tasty and very filling thanks to the large portion. Due to the large portion, you definitely can't complain about the price. I would come here again at any time!

Very small restaurant at the end of IsartorPlatz. Mostly Japanese soups are offered, but they are very tasty and filling. However, it is too narrow and not very comfortable to stay for a long time after eating.

Yesterday we were at Takumi, when you come in you first notice a great smell, but before we got there we had to wait 20 minutes. There are small benches right in front of the door. We also read in the reviews that you have to wait, so we were prepared for it and if it's good it's no problem in Japan it was no different. It's all super tight and small... the table next to us where 4 can sit, for example, 2 were sitting and a strange couple was seated next to you... we feel like we're sitting 1.5-2m next to them on the small benches, my neighbor behind me It's literally back to back, so you have to lean forward so you don't touch the person sitting behind you. We sat on the right as we came in, i.e. the whole crowd that comes in is waiting longingly for someone to finally get up and they can eat, i.e. everyone is looking at you non-stop and in what felt like 5 square meters in the entrance area there were 7 people looking annoyed... and I like that Absolutely not, I felt super uncomfortable and then in the end I really had to look away completely and ignore it and people actually went to the people who work there and said in annoyance “how long is this going to take?” we were sitting right in front of it and maybe Waited 10-15 minutes for our food and then sentences like this started and the waiters looked at people's plates and I thought to myself, how would he know that and so automatically a strange atmosphere prevailed, I hope you understand what I mean. The shop is quite small and too cozy for my taste. The ramen wasn't bad but it wasn't particularly good either. I have to say I definitely want to go there and I'll remember it. Maybe Japan set me higher on the measuring scale, but even in New York... it was significantly more intense. In my opinion there was a lack of power. But I think it's comparatively impossible to find something in Munich, so yeah - an average for Munich standards. You can - but you don't have to. It arrived lukewarm. The starters were good, they really impressed me more, especially the chicken pieces were fantastic. The egg through... yes, dear people, what can I tell you. Again, not in a tight spot. You have to want and like to be so close to people. 2 drinks, 2 ramen, 2 starters pretty much exactly 60 euros.

The food is always amazing! I've never had bad food there and the staff is really friendly and accommodating. The food has always come within 15 minutes, but on Friday and Saturday evenings it is difficult to get a table and there are longer waiting times in front of the door, which is understandable given the good food! The only thing that bothers me a little is the tables, they are quite low compared to the benches and therefore a little uncomfortable after a while. Overall a great restaurant and one of my favorites. Really recommended!

I have to be honest, the food tasted like an instant product. Either the price would be lower or the quality of the food would be better.

I loved this place. The miso ramen was amazing, the fried octopus and the service. The bowl was enough for one person as seen in the video. We had some drinks as well. The staff was friendly and nice. We sat on the small seating space outside so it was enjoyable . The payment is collected in the beginning after placing the order

The food is excellent. As a vegan it's a dream, so many things to try and everything is delicious. Unfortunately our service was a bit disinterested. We completely understand if you have to wait because there is a lot going on, but a little more politeness would be nice next time :)

Pretty good Ramen and really tasty broth. Service was also nice and it wasnt too crowded when we went to eat there. Takoyaki was also really delicious.

The sitting solution is not great. If you have back problems see that you can handle it before committing. The food itself was great. Vegan food is clearly marked and there are many options. The server bowls are big enough to fill you up for many, many hours. Acoustics were good enough to chat. The staff's English is limited. You can order in English, but it's better you know some German.

The broth was much thinner than before.

Highly recommended. I was just in a hurry to find something to eat, but I didn’t expect it to be so delicious. I immediately brought my friends to eat it again the next day! It’s also convenient to bring a vegetarian friend with you, as there is a chicken option. There is also a cute little sister who can speak Chinese! So vegetarian and tourist friendly!

This is the best thing my tongue has experienced since the beginning of my existence. Ever since I've known this store, I've been willing to sell my organs just to experience this taste explosion again and again. I don't even want to know how much money I've already left behind, but the fact is, I'll do it again and again. This shop is the only thing stopping me from emigrating because it is now the only shop where I want to eat for the rest of my life. Whoever came up with the recipes for all this vegan ramen, I am eternally grateful. I adore this ramen, I dream about it, and I'm having withdrawal symptoms. I can't live without this store anymore. Takoyaki – Japanese octopus balls are delicious. Ramen perfectly prepared, and very tasty. What makes Takumi special is the variety of choices. They offer a range of options ensuring every guest can find something to suit their taste. From vegetarian ramen to versions with other types of meat, there is something for everyone. The staff is friendly and quick. Overall, I can highly recommend Takumi.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall, my visit to Takumi was very pleasant. I ordered a portion of ramen with chicken, it was a signature ramen soup that you can only get here. The soup was really tasty, and the service was also very attentive and gave me good advice, especially when choosing a typical Japanese drink, which also tasted convincing. However, I have to say that the shop is quite narrow and on warm days it can get quite stuffy and warm in there. I personally found the prices a bit high – €18 for the ramen and €4.20 for the drink. Despite these small criticisms, I would recommend Takumi as the food and service are really impressive.

We ordered baked squid with rice and a beer. At first the beer was served well below the calibration mark. A complaint was made and a prompt repair was made. As a guest, I don't want to have to complain; I expect a glass that is filled according to the information on the menu. Therefore deductible from service. Otherwise the service was very good from ordering to delivery about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the taste of the rice wasn't appealing to me, it was too soft. A real highlight for me was the squid. Nicely breaded and not greasy.

I love to go there. I love the Kirin Draft Beer. I love the Karaage. I love the Ramen. The Staff is really really friendly. Just be aware some of the staff talks only in English and not in German. Please keep up the good work ! 🤙🏻

Staff friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait forever until the food was ready (around 40-45 minutes). The food itself was quite okay. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not much too expensive. Too bad. It's also really anti-social that you can't make a reservation. How can you just go there if you want to eat there? If you risk having to wait an hour... So you can only go because you're already against it, because who wants to risk waiting an hour?

The menu is a bit confusing when it comes to the division between meat and vegan/vegetarian dishes and the tables are a bit close together, but the food tastes good.😃👍🏻

Best ramen shop in Nuremberg city center, If you can't tolerate glutamate, you've come to the right place! No glutamate We go home happy every time. Great appetizers and the frames or rice bowls are plentiful. We would like to have a rice noodle as an alternative choice, but you can also find something here for those with gluten intolerance. Veggie is also on offer. All around great store!

I didn't expect their overpriced ramen to be this bad, since the reviews seem to be good. And by bad I mean the broth was bland and flavorless. It seemed to have failed to contain even basic salt and spices. I usually enjoy the taste of vegetables in a soup, since they add natural flavor but the vegetables in their ramen did not taste like anything. Also they add only two(!) small pieces of chicken (which also did not taste like anything) and call it chicken ramen. The noodles were fine, but that's just 1 cent noodles. It seems like the owner is trying to save at any cost just to cover the rent of having a tiny restaurant near the center of Munich. Don't be fooled by the boho chic and the somewhat Japanese feel of the place. Would not recommend to anyone who loves ramen and happens to be in Munich. P.S. I had one of their "normal" chicken ramen without a soft-boiled egg and not their signature ramen which was sold out for the day. Also I didn't have to wait in a queue, it was relatively empty at dinner time.

The Shoyu ramen with extra egg is my favorite. The Edamame is suggested as side dish.

Definitely overpriced (€40 for a ramen and a vegan curry excluding the drink), the vegan dishes don't have the right protein balance (if you want eggs or tofu you have to order them separately), the topping is really poor, the quality doesn't even seem excellent and the fried food was nauseating. Three stars only because they also focus on vegan dishes. Sin.

Fantastic ramen, disappointing service, and high prices. Compared to the original menu, the chicken and vegan options are a bit disappointing, especially since they only offer limited portions (30 to be exact) of their two special ramen a day. The ramen themselves were delicious. The broths had a deep, rich flavor, the teriyaki chicken was tender, and the egg was perfectly cooked. The takoyaki balls were also well executed, crispy fried to perfection with a chewy interior and a combination of three sauces. The service, while polite, was very slow, inefficient, and not professionally trained. The prices are quite high, at 16+€ for a bowl of ramen. Overall, this franchise would benefit from visiting the original Takumi in Düsseldorf. That restaurant is run like a well oiled machine, taking efficiency and table turnover to the maximum.

Do not sleep on this place. I ordered the Veggie Kakiage Curry (which is also vegan) and it was some of the best tempura I’ve ever had (including while I was in Japan). It’s labelled as one spicy level but I’d say it’s pretty minimal and just gives it a good kick. Partner ordered the karaage which was equally delicious. If I were local I’d be here trying everything.

Ordered a large Kirin beer. Wasn't really cold. But the waitress/GL didn't want to accept that. “The beer is cold.” I then finished drinking the beer warm. A pity.

In addition to the great food, the service is outstanding. Today I found out that the always (!) incredibly friendly and helpful employee is called Marco. The tirelessly good mood on his part is more than contagious and what has happened here deserves great praise. :)

I used to go to Takumi almost every week (as a couple or even three people). Unfortunately the prices have gone up and at the same time the meat has become less so that it is no longer worth it for me. Too many noodles (even if they are good) compared to the rest. The dishes are very good, but as the saying goes, “everything used to be better”. Unfortunately, the quality has decreased and the price has increased. In these times this may be necessary for a restaurant, but it's a shame. It's worth it to be there, but unfortunately they lost me (or us) as a regular guest.

Very good soups, I would like to come back again

Anyone who comes here knows exactly what to expect. That's why people wait patiently until a place is available. Even if the seats are tight and the atmosphere is not at all Japanese. People come because of the soup and because of the friendly service. And they're worth it :-)

Got Ramen Was fast and flavourful

Waiters dart through the aisle to quickly bring the hot food to the guest. If you're unlucky, you'll have to wait a bit as reservations aren't possible. Don't forget to take your card or smartphone with you, as cash payments are not possible. Casual and friendly atmosphere. I've tried a lot of vegetarian ramen all over Germany and this shop makes it into my top 3. 🍜 Clear recommendation!

I had a good experience with Takumi Münster on a business trip (I ate there two days in a row). That's why I wanted to test Takumi Munich. Compared to Münster, this Takumi Munich is not worth visiting. 👎🏼 Ramen: the taste was so-so. There were just too few vegetables (only one piece of green vegetable and few bean sprouts). For almost 20 euros, the dish is not worth it. I ordered the (almost) same dish: Tan Tan Men. In Münster you get a lot of green vegetables and bean sprouts in a ramen. The taste is also different. 👎🏼 Service: the service is far from friendly. Compared to Münster they are nothing. You just work like a robot. 👎🏼 Atmosphere: the seats are very tight. That was my first and last visit. Rather go to other better Japanese restaurants.

Decent ramen restaurant with a variety of options. For me the noodles was a little bit soft and the broth was flavourful but slightly salty and I prefer my broth staying warm for longer. Staffs were friendly but our food did take around 45 mins to be available (restaurant was busy though)

Small shop, no reservations possible but like in Japan you can wait and it usually goes quickly. Ramen and side dishes were very tasty but also relatively expensive. Nice staff, special requests are also taken into account. Vegan options and various soups. Large portions and to-go boxes are also available. I would go there again despite the expensive prices :)

Absolutely delicious ramen via delivery service. Had all the elements for a great ramen experience and the broth was amazingly rich and delicious. Will definitely be popping in for a meal in-house in the future.

Yes, yes, yes, it’s delicious and everyone knows about this place... the choice is huge, they say the ramen is delicious... I’m not sure of 100% authenticity, but it’s tasty and the service is good. I can recommend it, and I wouldn’t mind dropping in sometimes, but there’s a queue! Popular place!)

Really nice place, it feels like entering a place in Japan and the staff is super friendly. The guy who served me also spoke English and was super friendly and accommodating. The ramen is really great, fresh ingredients and authentic flavours. I went on a Monday for lunch and it wasn't too crowded. I will gladly return if I happen to be in Munich again, highly recommended!

Business is good! The service was very poor. We waited in line for more than half an hour. There were three of us, but the waiter came out and said there was a table for 4 people inside. Instead, he invited the four people at the back to go in and skipped the three people at the front of us. We felt very uncomfortable. fair! ! I was very confused and went in to argue with the waiter. It was unfair to us who were in the front. They said that the business was too busy and they didn't have time to pay attention to who was at the front. They also asked us if we would like to sit in a seat for two people. . People are called according to the available seats. It doesn't mean whoever is at the front of the line will get ramen. After waiting in line for half an hour, it all depends on luck. Feeling aggrieved, we just rubbed our noses and walked away. Such unfair treatment, no matter how delicious it is, is not worth waiting for!

The Takumi Chicken & Vegan at the Viktualienmarkt in Munich simply has the tastiest ramen! The flavors are perfectly balanced and the noodles are wonderfully al dente. An absolute must for all ramen lovers!

As I expected from any Takumi, EXCELLENT. Very good price quality. I had the gyozas and the Chicken Miso Rame. The silky and tasty noodles. The broth is soft but with body and flavor. Fresh vegetables and the perfect, juicy chicken. Fast and effective service. Friendly and smiling waiters. The place itself is nothing special. But it fulfills its function perfectly and most importantly, it is clean. Even the men's bathroom smells good and is very clean. The perfect place to eat daily. Would I go back? Without hesitation. A 10.

Really good ramen, the best out of all the Takumi locations in Munich. Fried chicken appetizer also delicious. Queueing is normal for such a small restaurant. We were 3 and waited outside 20 minutes on a Friday night for dinner. Service was good considering how busy and short staffed they are. They were super friendly and the food was great - as usual.

Takumi is a highly recommended ramen bar in the heart of Munich. No matter whether miso ramen or tonkatsu ramen - there is the right soup for everyone. Since you can't make a reservation, expect a bit of a wait at peak times. But it's worth every minute!

Incredibly delicious ramen in a central location. The prices are really fair for Munich and the portions are more than sufficient. Reservations are not possible, so you may have to wait for a seat. The ambience is more reminiscent of a snack bar and doesn't invite you to linger for a long time. However, there are two points of criticism: it could be noted on the card that it contains coriander (by now it should be known that for many people it simply tastes like soap) and cash payment is not possible - that's just such an absurdity in my opinion like not offering card payments.

Just a great ramen shop, everything tastes delicious and the people are super nice. Price-wise, everything is totally okay. One of my favorite restaurants in Munich.

I like the vegan options of ramen here. I've been here several times and this place is easily my favourite ramen place.

Nice place to eat ramen. No reservation possible. There were three of us and we got a place. The atmosphere is more of a fast food restaurant atmosphere. You eat and walk. The food fills you up and tastes good. Portions are large.

Good Ramen and..? (Expectations vs. reality partly fullfilled) Btw you can only pay with card here. There were two of us there. We had to wait around 15 min (on a mondayevening) and were seated at a lower sidetable (I know this is how it is in Japan a lot, but I prefer a full table and chairs with a backrest. Our food was good, but actually I was a bit more hyped before. Unfortunately the tofu was out of stock and I could not order what I want. And 20€/ramen is also kind a word. Nevertheless it is tasty and you don’t do anything wrong by going there. The stuff is superfriendly and we had a good time.

We're probably at Takumi's once a week. The ramen we always take is super tasty and generously filled, which is only fair given the price of €17.5 (Tan Tan Men, miso ramen with egg). The menus were recently changed (unfortunately!). However, you can still find enough ramen that tastes great Service is very quick and courteous.

It's amazing what you can find in Munich. The food is excellent and only recommended. It's best to get there early, otherwise you'll end up queuing outside.
