Really great taste, ambiance, and staff. All so friendly and catered to your taste. We Indian friends wanted it extra spicy and they prepared the food to perfection!! Highly recommended for anyone and everyone. ✌🏻🙌🏻

Amazing food and excellent service. The dishes were full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Lovely atmosphere — cozy and clean. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Offenburg!

For starters, we had a mixed salad (we won't order that again next time) and a mixed appetizer for one. For our main courses, we had butter chicken and chicken curry, both of which were very tasty. The naan bread with cheese was excellent. The price/performance ratio was perfectly fine.

We've picked up our dinner several times. Always excellent! We'd be happy to come back.

The food was delicious and good value for money: we had lamb tikka masala, chicken tikka masala, paratha, raita and cheese naan.

The food wasn't anything special but it was okay, but they simply added at least 10 euros to the price. At first, I thought I'd misheard. I checked the bill several times. I didn't get a bill either. Therefore, I won't eat there again and can't recommend it to anyone!

I always enjoy coming here. This was my first time trying Indian food, and I wasn't disappointed. The food is truly delicious. The price-performance ratio is really good, especially at lunch. The interior is very elegantly decorated, but the terrace is also comfortable.

We ordered a set menu for two (302). The appetizers were absolutely inedible. The main courses weren't that good either. The dessert was truly awful. The dough balls were probably fried in sheep's fat. The aftertaste was horrible. When we complained, we were told that the dessert was served as is and tasted just like that... Our question about whether we could have ice cream instead of these balls was answered with a resounding NO. A question for the owner: does he taste the food he serves? We absolutely cannot recommend this place.

I was just at Taj Tandoori in Offenburg, and I have to say, it was a truly worthwhile visit! As soon as you walk in, you can feel the emphasis on authenticity. I immediately noticed that the kitchen uses fresh ingredients – no wonder they emphasize on their website that they use pure, organic spices and no flavor enhancers. You can taste it! The selection on the menu is truly impressive. I was spoiled for choice between the many tandoor specialties and the countless curries. What I was particularly pleased about was that there are so many vegetarian options, and even explicitly vegan dishes like Bengen Bharta. This shows that everyone really gets their money's worth here, no matter their preferences. As for the service: top-notch! It was great that I could choose my own spice level – I like it medium-spicy, and that's exactly what it was. It's great that you can also tell them if you don't like certain spices. That shows true customer focus. And for anyone who needs a quick, tasty lunch: The lunch menu is a real hit! I was even able to sit outside, which was perfect given the weather. The restaurant is super centrally located, so it's really easy to find. And if I don't feel like cooking, I now know I can simply take the food with me. Conclusion: My visit to Taj Tandoori was definitely worth recommending. I found a piece of India in the heart of Offenburg and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Had some of the best Chicken tikka masala we have every had. The flavours were so well balanced and the rice and garlic nann were perfect. If you are in the area definitely worth a visit. The lady who looked after us was brilliant.

The food we had was all excellent and the portions were good.

Give this restaurant a wide berth if you have children. With a small child, even though we were the only guests, we were placed in the farthest dark corner, even though there was hardly any room for the child's chair. Even after asking several times, we were not asked whether we could sit at another table. The lunch menu is average, value for money is good. Nevertheless, because it's not child-friendly we won't be back.

In terms of decor, I don't really find the restaurant appealing. But the food is excellent. The menu is extensive. There is something for every taste. Vegetarians also get their money's worth. Dogs are now also allowed in, which wasn't the case at first.

Taj Tandoori was the recommendation of the hotel. We had the Lamb Biryani and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were delicious. Dishes are delicately seasoned and prepared with love and care. Service is very friendly and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely come back more often if we lived nearby. Taj Tandoori is worth the detour.

My wife and I had dinner at Taj Tandoori yesterday. The food was really very good and filling. My wife ate vegetarian biryani and was completely enchanted by the great mixture of spices that the food consisted of. The food was really rich and delicately seasoned, a real culinary delight. I ate chicken sabzi and I have to say that it tasted great and really tickled my taste buds. The price-performance ratio is also ok, there are large portions and the food is affordable. The service is also good Nice and friendly..all in all it was a good idea to go there to eat..It wasn't the last time we were here..we'd love to go back soon..

One of the best Indian restaurant in Germany, I came with my friends and we tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Also parantha and peshawari naan is a must try in breads.

Food was ok. We were not that much hungry so did not try much food item. Taste was ok. It wad empty on Friday night. Service was also ok. We have been pushed to order more food and even after polite denial, they become rude and really pushy to order more foods.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Swiz, amazing ambience, fresh food, overall it was a great experience. We had mango paneer curry, bread, samosa etc. We really liked the dishes. Our 1 year old broke a plate and the owner was super kind to us, did not charge anything extra and didn’t mind either, loved the hospitality and gesture. Must try!!

Too bad, too bad, too bad. I was just eating here with my mother, some of the starters were forgotten and the main course took a long time to arrive, even though only the terrace was occupied. It's a shame, I was very happy. The food is acceptable for a layman but real Indian is something different and the price/performance ratio is unfortunately not right at all. Very tasty food! I was here with my friend and we ordered a smooth cocktail with the food. We really liked that when we visited the Black Forest again in 8 months, we ordered the same thing!!!! Because it simply tastes so good!!!! The sauce was absolutely delicious!!!!!!

Unfortunately not recommended. I have never eaten such tasteless, untypical Indian food. The sauce was light yellow and tasted predominantly of vegetable broth. Long after this meal, I still had the taste of bouillon cubes in my mouth, something I've never experienced before after Indian food.

It's always difficult to recreate indian food outside of India. However, when it comes to indian cuisine in this corner of the globe, I find the food in Taj Tandoori good and freshly made. Service is quick too! We were there two days in a row.

Wirklich unglaublich lecker. War schon bei vielen Indern zum Essen. Dieser ist einer der Besten!!!

Zunächst: Wir lieben indisches Essen! Daher haben wir viele Vergleichsmöglichkeiten - und waren nicht ganz überzeugt. Zwar war die Beratung gut, das Essen selbst aber eher phantasielos gekocht und angerichtet. Die Portionen an sich würde ich als "noch normal" bezeichnen, wenn wir keine Vorspeise gehabt hätten, hätten wir aber definitiv eine "Beilage" zusätzlich bestellen müssen. Die einzige Bedienung war vermutlich der Besitzer selbst; er war sehr am Tresen beschäftigt und vermied sorgfältig den Blickkontakt zu den Gästen - das Nachbestellen von Getränken erforderte einige Eigeninitiative. Die Atmosphäre war insgesamt kühl, keine Musik im Hintergrund, die Gäste flüsterten, vielleicht da man den Eindruck hatte jedes Wort halle wider. Fazit: Für eine schnelle unprätentiöse Mahlzeit geeignet.

Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl dort, das ganze Ambiente ist stimmig, auch der kleine Biergarten bzw Bierveranda im Hinterhof mit Blick auf die Künstler Kommune, immer wieder gerne🥰🥰 essen total 😋 😋 😋

Het eten was heerlijk. Het vlees van de curry was heel zacht en lekker gekruid. Voorgerechtjes zijn ook aan te raden. Aardige mensen die er werken.

Mega leckeres essen. Nur das indische Gedudel/Musik ist nicht so mein Geschmack, aber das ist nicht weiter schlimm. Das essen ist super und die Leute richtig nett, auf das kommt es an. Sehr zu empfehlen!
