I was here with my family and had such a consistently positive experience at a restaurant for the first time. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was truly excellent. We felt very comfortable – highly recommended!

We went there with friends, up to 10 people, and we received such a warm welcome and were very happy with the food. I can highly recommend it to everyone 🥰 The waiters (it's a family business) are also so friendly. 10/10

I absolutely don't understand the negative reviews. We had dinner here today, and it was delicious. From the appetizer to the main course, everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive!

Perfect as always. We've been going there for years, and the food is perfect every time. And that's really not an exaggeration. Our favorite dish is the Goa duck—the crispy duck is so delicious. I'm writing this review because I'm really shocked by the bad ones. I can't relate to them at all. The service is always fast, friendly, and personable. It's also no problem to bring small children—they're always welcome and given a warm welcome.

I really have to say the service and ambiance were top-notch 👍 But the food, unfortunately, was only okay - I expected more from the advertisement. It was my first time at the restaurant and I only had two dishes. I actually wanted to give the food 4★, but in retrospect, no more than 3★! For the overall rating, I'm focusing on the food! The Punjabi Chicken Curry, in my opinion, had too much ginger. The Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, was supposed to be spicy - at least that's what it said on the menu - well, there was a certain amount of spice, but for me, it had nothing to do with being spicy. The Tandoori Lachsan Kulcha (Garlic Naan) clearly had far too little garlic on it - I asked my friend afterwards if there was any garlic on it - she had the same opinion as me; there was hardly any garlic to be tasted...! The naan was okay, I would have liked to give it a 4★, but the lack of garlic was the deciding factor for me to only give it a 3★. For me, the restaurant is clearly too geared towards German taste buds – I've been to India several times, last winter to Malaysia, the Indian district of Kuala Lumpur, and Georgetown – apparently, I was too spoiled by Indian cuisine there. I'm usually a bit disappointed in Germany, as I was here in this restaurant.

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I recommend Chicken Piazza, it was delicious.

We went to TAJ MAHAL today with our friends. I had a spinach green curry and butter Nan. It was Super delicious. I was so impressed by this taste. The staff are so friendly. There is a beer garden as well. We could enjoy it with a nice breeze.

A delightful restaurant with an extensive menu featuring vegetarian, chicken, lamb, beef, and fish, all as spicy as you like. The outdoor terrace is open in good weather. Friendly Indonesian people will make you feel completely at home.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend it. Some of the food was still frozen (so they'd just warmed it up in the microwave). Unfriendly owner. We felt uncomfortable. (Addendum to the restaurant's response: Of course, it's the right place. What a bold insinuation! That was last year. Remember? Our small dog (5 kg) wasn't even allowed to look out from under the table without you shouting "DOG!" The daughter serving was nice, but you (presumably the owner) weren't! And the food was frozen inside. Period.)

Tout le monde s’est régalé dans ce restaurant, que ce soit avec les légumes tandoori ou avec le poulet ou l’agneau Byriani. C’était très copieux surtout que ceux qui avaient commandé des tandooris avaient commandé également des naans et qu’ils sont servis avec un énorme plat de riz! Accueil sympathique.

Five of us had dinner there and waited an hour for food. The food itself was quite good and edible. Sitting in the restaurant had a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was always friendly and always within reach if you needed anything.

Ordered via Lieferando. Food arrived after just under 20 minutes, well packaged and very tasty. Portion was really plentiful. Great value for money.

Reservation, ambience and service from the two ladies was good. Food also came within 30 minutes. But if you write fresh mushrooms on the menu, then I expect some at this price! They were mushrooms from a jar and this was also the case with the other dishes. We had 5 different ones, 2 of which had mushrooms. The lamb was also fibrous and tough. At such prices, you can expect quality from the meat and ingredients, and there were only 6 pieces of a kind of lamb goulash. From 10 p.m. onwards you are asked to drink up as it closes. . Of 2 toilets and 2 urinals, one of each was blocked because it was broken and the two open ones were dirty. They probably didn't look at it all evening 😚

An absolute favorite restaurant! The family-run Indian restaurant not only offers incredibly delicious food, but also a warm and friendly atmosphere. We have already tried a variety of dishes and each time we were impressed. The dishes are always fresh, taste excellent and perfectly seasoned. The service is always friendly and courteous - you always feel welcome here. We come here regularly and can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Simply a great experience for all the senses! Very tasty meals at fair prices

Food was tasty, but not enough. It generally feels like restaurants don't dare to make normal portions with 2024 prices. Then it's better to have a small portion and hope that no one says anything. (But still the 24 price 😉) I said something and I was pleasantly surprised. I asked for sauce as a second helping. Sauce came, rice was there, customer was full, it was fine. But: I had lamb with no idea :D and Machia (or something) as a drink. It was tasty, but it was a terribly small portion with 5 pieces of meat... It felt like a bowl of cornflakes and a green juice for about 25 euros with a tip. The waitress didn't speak German well, but was very polite and helpful. It's OK. You can go there again. Next time I'll just take sauce with rice for 10 euros. Overall, both parties are doing better. (too bad)

A small, cozy restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table. Even without a reservation. The waitresses were friendly. We had raita and naan bread as a starter and main course. The naan was really tasty, crispy but not dry. The raita was delicious. My friend had the mixed grill platter and I had the Punjabi chicken curry. He also had soup of the day. It was a tomato soup - which was good, but he would have liked something Indian like lentil soup. For me there was a small salad with yogurt dressing - it was the typical side salad, but that was ok. Our meat was excellent and so tender. The sauces were really delicious. The rice was cooked just right and a generous portion. We had a really tasty meal and were satisfied. If you want to have delicious Indian food in Donauwörth, you should come here.

Very nice staff and very good food

A quiet and sophisticated restaurant in the heart of Donauwörth. The furnishings are classic, if a bit conservative, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Here you can experience excellent Indian cuisine - perfectly seasoned and the flavors very harmoniously balanced. The service is polite, if very distant. What I found to be unpleasant overall: The corridor to the toilet was pitch black because it was not lit and was also lined with various things. Free drinking area in the inner courtyard.

Friendly service, our food was good and (at our request) pleasantly spicy. The portions could be a little larger. Nice atmosphere.

We were very excited until today but unfortunately we are now just disappointed. 1. We waited for our food to be delivered for 1.5 hours. 2. We ordered two different meals, both of which tasted like nothing but were salty. (Anyone can salt, you don’t need to learn to be a chef). So no ginger, coriander, or mint taste. 3. The driver didn't have any change, we ended up having to tip more than what we wanted. It wouldn't have been a problem, but because we only found out afterwards what our dishes tasted like, it was even more bitter. So, never again...

I'm very excited! Rich menu. Four different dishes were served almost at the same time. Special requests were no problem. Large selection of drinks. You can park nearby, for example in Spindeltal or in the Münster car park. I would love to come back!

We visited this restaurant in April 2024. We are from Canada. The food was great and fairly priced and the service was friendly. Host spoke some English which was helpful. Compared to Canada, the food was very very mild in spice level. Ask for more heat if you like spicey Indian food! Fantastic naan bread. Lovely Indian spiced tea too :)

Very nice service and delicious food at fair prices. The portions are large and the menu offers a lot of choice. Everything is very fresh and tastes great. What is positive is that it is one of the few restaurants where dogs are not allowed. Thank you very much ❤️

Top price performance and very tasty food

My summary: I personally like this Indian very much I often eat vegetarian here. The okra in the savory sauce is my personal favorite. Excellently seasoned, tastes great. That's how you imagine it. Service was also excellent - attentive and friendly The only thing that is “annoying” is the noise from the speakers. Indian food is great - but the music takes some getting used to. Don't take it against me dear Indians 🤣😊

Better than some other Indian restaurants in the area

Wir sind sehr oft in diesem Restaurant und für uns ist dies das beste indische Restaurant in Donauwörth. Das einzige was uns weniger gefällt, sind die limitierten Parkmöglichkeiten, aber dafür kann das Restaurant ja nichts.

Good food, price-performance very good.

Despite food is good in taste, unfortunately I and friend circle of mine decided not to step into this restaurant anymore after we found human hair 2 times in different dishes on same day (food is returned immediately after notice), but waiter considered that food for billing. I must say owner handled the situation respectfully but waiter needs to understand the mistake and try to learn the right behaviour.

Incredibly delicious Indian food!

Since the owner changed (beginning of 2023) we no longer feel welcome there with our dog, even though we used to be regular guests there. There is now a sign on the door saying dogs are forbidden. We'd rather go somewhere else.

We didn’t have a reservation but still got a table with no problems although the restaurant was quite busy. The service was nice and speedy. They gave us complimentary food before the main courses. We shared an appetizer which was really big (it was for 2 persons) and delicious. The main dish was also delicious and pleasantly spiced and they even packed our leftovers! Great service and great food in a nice cosy atmosphere. Also there is a parking garage like 200-300meters with free parking at the evening (at least it was free for us anyway)

Table reserved. Staff was surprised that we made a reservation. A few impossible tables were then offered. Then you were taken into an ice-cold side room. Staff very slow. We came to the next table after us and got the food beforehand. After an hour the food was there.

War bereits mehrere Male dort und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Wartezeiten sind sehr kurz, das Essen immer sehr lecker - wirklich empfehlenswert.

Wir waren zum ersten mal in einem indischen Restaurant. Unsere vegetarische Hauptspeisenplatte für zwei Personen war etwas fürs Auge und hatte köstlich geschmeckt. Auch die Linsensuppe hat gut gemundet. Wir bekamen sogar noch etwas Reis nachgereicht. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Sitzmöbel sind für uns ältere sehr bequem zum sitzen. Die Toiletten sind ohne Gehhindernisse zu erreichen. Es war ein gelungenes Sonntagmittagessen. Wir bedanken uns sehr!

Ich habe um 22 Uhr noch was leckeres zu Essen bekommen. Und da der Weg zum Hotel zwar kurz, aber steil ist haben der Chef und sein Kellner mich zum Hotel gebracht.

Der beste Inder im Landkreis. Mein Mann und ich sind immer wieder begeistert, das Essen schmeckt so fein. Der Service ist freundlich und nett. Die Preise sind angemessen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, es war Abends viel los. Teilweise wurde in 15 Minuten 6 x gefragt ob alles passt. Als wir zahlen wollten kam dann aber sehr lang keiner mehr... :-)
