We ordered two main courses and two drinks and paid €36. Everything was pretty tasty, even if I personally found it a bit bland. Conveniently, though, there were soy sauce and two hot sauces on the tables. Overall, I enjoyed it.

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Schwerin for years. Excellent value for money. Generous, sometimes oversized portions, freshly prepared, and delicious. Special requests are readily accommodated. And a really nice and funny hostess with a great service team. Oh yes, the Vietnamese word "Tài vū" probably means "talent" (not entirely sure, though...), but if that's the case, I can certainly vouch for the team.

We left at 9:03 p.m. and were told that the kitchen was no longer working, even though the restaurant was open until 10 p.m.

The worst Vietnamese evah! Asianesque food for round -eyes (Westerners). No self-respecting Vietnamese or Chinese would find anything remotely authentic or tasty. Hate to waste food, but I couldn't eat it much of the 12€ glass noodle salad which was drowned in Maggie and sweet and sour chilli sauce. Picked out the traces of cucumber and carrot (50g im total?) only. Disappointed...

A classic Vietnamese-Asian restaurant. Good value for money. The owner is always friendly and welcoming. The renovation at the beginning of 2025 turned out very nice. I also think the small play area for children is very thoughtful. I always order by phone and can pick up the food after 10-15 minutes. Highly recommended.

First of all... the service was very friendly, the ambiance was fine. However, the food, in my opinion, had little to do with Thai cuisine; my main course was tasteless, and the meat was inedible. Many of those who are happy with their dishes (noodles, baked meat with sweet and sour sauce) aren't Thai food... This restaurant would be lost in a big city! It's a shame, I remembered the place as being better. Perhaps they'll rediscover their love for food.

Personally, I had a very long wait for the order, for the drink, for the food and ultimately for the bill. I wanted to grab something quick to eat, but as a single guest I was in the store for almost 100 minutes. The service was absolutely unprofessional, sometimes friendly, sometimes unfriendly. My glass wasn't completely clean around the edge. In my opinion, the peanut sauce was a paste made with a sauce thickener that only had a very remote connection with satay. But the duck was well done. Because of the cheap prices, I didn't regret going in. But I probably wouldn't come back. I wouldn't recommend it at all. In Düsseldorf the store would definitely be closed again in 3-6 months. In Schwerin... he has good reviews. IDK.

We really enjoyed ordering there during the pandemic. The food is good, the cooking family is friendly. It is still the only real Vietnamese restaurant in small Schwerin. Since we can't pick up the food in the evenings due to constant parking problems, it's a shame that the delivery service has been discontinued. The restaurant itself was recently renovated and we like it much better now. The good food selection (especially the Pho) is still worth every recommendation. An interactive online presence for reservations and information etc. would be desirable. Moderate prices!

My wife's curry noodle soup was completely OK. Doesn't make our favorite Vietnamese at home any better. My duck "Si Chuan Art", on the other hand, was a total disappointment. The solid ingredients were OK. and the price is pleasantly affordable at 10 EUR. Unfortunately, the taste had nothing to do with Vietnam or with "sophisticated cooking", but simply tasted like convenience gravy with plenty of sodium glutamate and a spoonful of sambal. I'm aware that all restaurants now work more or less excessively with convenience products, but the result is usually something that I find quite tasty. Unfortunately, the latter didn't work at all here.

A short Christmas break took us to Schwerin. We spontaneously decided to get something to eat here. These 5 🌟 correspond to the dishes we ate No.26M with fried noodles and No.51. We haven't eaten so well for a long time, very tasty. Since we pre-ordered the food by phone and it worked very well, we get 3 🌟 without having to use the rest of the service (service). The first impression of the ambience is more Spartan. But here I think the food always comes before the ambience. If we come to Schwerin again we will definitely have a meal here. By the way, the old town was unfortunately a bit unspectacular - we expected more. Unfortunately, due to the holiday, we were only able to look at the castle from the outside today. It's beautiful and seeing it made up for the old town.

Just trust me and order some amazing rice noodles and eat it. You won’t regret it.

I ordered a coconut soup noodle and the soup tasted like bamboo shoots. (Which had a really distinct taste)There was weirdly beans, corn , broccoli and carrot in the soup… I really enjoy the german style Vietnamese food but I probably ordered the worst dish on the menu. I couldn’t even finish 1/4 of the noodle… would still say the service was good and food came fast. But for 15€!?? No….

I've eaten this type of food in many places, but it's better to eat Chinese soup from the store than the local pho. Like water with pasta and meat, sort of. Even adding a huge amount of soy sauce did not make it taste better. She braided with mango a little better, but not much.

Very nice owner who served us. A cozy restaurant. The espresso was delicious. There were 2 of us and we each had 2 rice main courses with meat and 1 starter each to take away. This is the only place during our tour that we had to go twice! Food and drinks is worth more than the value we paid! Staff are very friendly yet professional! Food portions are very good and not too filling or bloating! Drinks are very good and they have a varied of menu choice from Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese cuisines. What stood out for us is the Waitress from Norway who recommended the best dishes for us and was very friendly and professional! I would come back to have a meal here and I highly recommend this restaurant for Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese food! Thank you very much for the delicious food!

Good value for money! There are a few Vietnamese dishes here, but most of the things on the menu can be found on any Chinese restaurant menu. I was expecting more authentic Vietnamese and was therefore a bit disappointed. There is also pho here; I had just had that two days before... In the end I decided on crispy duck with a spicy sauce. Supposedly spicy! 🤣 - But that's probably due to the expectations of the German audience and you can sharpen it up with the sambal olek provided. Overall, the food met my expectations. I thought it was nice that there was fish sauce on the table for seasoning. Cocktails and mixed drinks like Aperol Spritz are cheap and my Aperol was delicious too. Fast and friendly service. The food was on the table after ten minutes.

Unfortunately, my wife and I relied on the stars in the rating. Ouch...big mistake. Eating something that's ready in three minutes can't really be good. The coconut milk curry sauce was adulterated. It could have been from Maggi. And Si chuan style with vegetables was actually soy sauce with onions and some garnishes. I can't recommend it to anyone.

A very disappointing stop for lunch. It's quite loud (train station). I can't imagine staff being more unfriendly and listless. However, the fact that what we ordered arrived quickly did not compensate for the absence of the tofu. The fact that 15 dishes are eliminated, especially as a vegetarian, is a real disappointment for the Thai. That was the first and last time in this restaurant.

Inconspicuous from the outside, rustic and clean from the inside. Friendly service, the cards arrived relatively quickly, the order was taken 10 minutes later. And then...wait....And wait again... After 40 minutes the two starters arrived and after another 20 minutes the main courses. The food was delicious and very well priced, but unfortunately you could taste the sodium glutamate. We sat with empty plates for another 20 minutes before the waitress came to ask what we wanted. The bill came after another 15 minutes. CONCLUSION: If you have a lot of time, you can definitely stop by there.

I ordered number 25, chicken in curry coconut sauce (spicy according to the menu). I told the waitress that I had to catch a train in an hour and asked if there would be enough time for the dish I wanted. Yes, no problem, after 5(!) minutes the plate was presented to me garnished with parsley. Puzzled by the white sauce, I took the first bite and didn't taste anything. Neither curry, coconut nor typical South Asian spices were present; it tasted and looked like a Knorr instant light sauce. Had the chefs perhaps forgotten the most important ingredients because of my lack of time? Unfortunately, there was nothing authentically Vietnamese or Thai about this dish, except for the bamboo strips and the rice. The only thing that smelled like coconut was the deodorant provided in the really clean women's toilet.

Very small and unassuming restaurant. You might not expect much when you walk past it, but the food is really great. Not many tables, but very fast and friendly service. Large portions for a fair price.

This small restaurant is located pretty much opposite the train station, in the small street that leads down to the Pfaffenteich. The furnishings are less Asian and more rustic, but the seating is very comfortable. Very fast and friendly service. Sometimes a little too fast. The delicious sour-spicy soup in XXL was not even halfway through when the main courses were already on the table. Our food was without exception very good, whether the fried noodles or the duck in mango sauce. At least for this price, because the price-performance ratio is sensational. The portions are quite large. Okay, maybe you could replace the heating in the men's toilet, which is pretty rusty hanging on the wall. Otherwise, this small shop is an absolute recommendation in Schwerin's train station district.

Actually, we originally went to another restaurant. But it was closed. So we came across TaiVu more by chance. And we haven't regretted it. The food was very tasty. My soup 20A Bun Sorry Chicken with rice noodles was very tasty. But eating the long slippery noodles was a test of patience. I guess I still have to practice that. My wife had the number 27 Chicken Sweet. A really crispy breading. Delicious. The ginger tea was okay. But not anymore. We enjoyed it very much, we were full and the bill was right. Thumbs up!

Good, tasty and inexpensive Vietnamese cuisine - without a long wait. We remembered the restaurant during our last involuntary train stop. The few steps across the station square were definitely worth it for our dinner (2 x 10 euros for vegetables with beef and with rice) on the train as we continued our journey.
