Great ambience. Service is ok, but there is still room for improvement in terms of hospitality. The food was very tasty, but unfortunately not as described on the menu. E.g. According to the lunch menu, the large gyro plate has a small farmer's salad as a side dish; on the plate there was the same, simple side salad as all the other dishes. The prices are reasonable.

We sat there for 3 hours and not once were we asked if we needed anything else, even when our glasses were empty for over half an hour. then a waiter spilled a glass of cola on us. Pants, shoes and cell phone completely wet, but "nothing happened" (quote from waiter)... and what's the excuse for that? correct: nothing. just a "sorry" and a new tablecloth... no compensation, nothing, nothing. The food used to be better, but that's just how it is when you're the only Greek in the village and there are no real alternatives, so customers have to come here, regardless of whether it tastes good or not. I just can't recommend eating here right now...

We were invited to a birthday party here. I can definitely recommend the Greek restaurant. Delicious food 😋, fast and very friendly staff. The size of the restaurant is just too big for me. But it still doesn't detract from the friendly service. Thanks so much

Another great restaurant visit. Great service and tasty food in a nice atmosphere. We were there on Boxing Day and received a beautiful calendar with Greek motifs and a bottle of red wine as a farewell. On Saturday we were in the "Syrtaki" again for a long time. Unfortunately, we went home a little disappointed. The waiters seemed pretty unmotivated. No smile, you thought you were disturbing. Unfortunately, the food this time was just average. The pork fillet was totally dry and the gyros was just "well". The constant demand for ouzo doesn't help either. Too bad.

Ordered a table for Wednesday evening - buffet. Food offering very diverse. Starters were very good, you could see what you were eating. The hot food was lukewarm and there was no signage on the food. Since several meat dishes were offered, it would be very nice to have some labeling to know what you are eating. A nice restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive. When the restaurant is very busy, the air is a bit scarce. Ventilation would be good. But otherwise everything is fine!

It's incredibly narrow and lined with tables. The volume level is uncomfortably high due to loud music and far too many people. You had to shout at each other to have a conversation. The service was attentive and prompt. We had a fillet plate (beef, pork and lamb) which was delicious. However, the gyros tasted very strange, somehow musty. We had to refuse the offered ouzo a total of 7 times, which was pretty annoying at some point. All in all, we were full, but it had little to do with a cozy evening with good food. You have the feeling of having landed in a system restaurant - getting a lot of people through in a short time and covering up the rest with ouzo. It's a shame, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We had reserved for Saturday and it was very crowded and unfortunately also very loud. You get an ouzo beforehand and quickly get your drinks and food. The portions are sufficient. It could have been a few more fries, but it was sufficient. High chairs are available and there is a changing table in the women's restroom.

We were cycling and decided to have lunch in Gommern. Quite by chance we passed the Syrtaki restaurant and decided to stop there. The food was delicious and the service was friendly.

We had made a reservation with a small child and it wasn't full that day, things went well at the beginning but then everything dragged on and we waited forever for drinks etc., we had a waiter who spoke very, very bad German and didn't understand anything Although we spoke clearly, slowly and clearly, we made a number of mistakes, people forgot to pack food even though we said it sensibly. We were there for the second time, even on the first visit where we spontaneously went, everything dragged on forever and with a small child this isn't exactly beneficial, only the small playground made a bit of a difference in this situation. Conclusion from us after we wanted to give the whole thing another chance, we won't be coming back.

We ate there on a Thursday evening during the summer holidays and it was very full. Due to the temperatures, all guests were seated in the spacious outdoor area. Overall it was okay although it was a bit loud, especially at the beginning, due to the number of guests and the music being played. But this settled down to a normal level relatively quickly. Despite the number of guests, we were served quickly and received our drinks quickly. Overall, a large number of waitresses looked after the guests and everyone was nice and accommodating. The food was also served in a timely manner and everything was fresh, hot and very tasty. In addition, as is typical for Greeks, it was very lavish. There was a small playground available for the child in our group. Nothing special but worth its weight in gold in such a situation. We would be lavishly supplied with Uzo and no one was on the bill. All in all, a very recommendable restaurant. We'd love to come back. PS: we had reserved. But despite it being busy that evening, we would definitely have gotten a table without a prior reservation.

Everything is just right here. Nice boss and nice staff. The food always tastes excellent and the portions are generous. Always worth a visit for us.

We were extremely disappointed, firstly because we waited around 1.40 hours for food, which of course can happen on a Friday evening. That's why we ordered a starter, which unfortunately wasn't served until the main course (1.40 hours later). We were asked if it was still needed and then politely declined. We then ate quickly because it was also very loud on the terrace. Music too loud and so people spoke louder and louder 🫨😵‍💫 Then the bill came, the starter wasn't included but the Metaxa sauce quickly cost €7.50 and the other thing was also adjusted so that we still paid for the starter, cheek! Unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home Never again!

Just a good Greek! There is a large selection and everything was super tasty (just be prepared for garlic). The waitresses are friendly and accommodating across the board. In addition, the outdoor lighting is nicely developed and not overcrowded despite the many guests. Last but not least... Don't skimp on ouzo. It was a pleasure.

Parking possible directly in front. Ambience nice. (sat under cover / outside) Enough space + distance to the next table. Service very polite. Menu 1/ Seniors' plate: Gyros (lean meat + juicy + crispy) with giant fries and really good tzatziki. Recommended 👍🏻 Menu 2 / Gyros baked in Metaxa sauce with cheese. Recommended 👍🏻 In our opinion, a visit is worth it 🙏🏻

Unfortunately no. Food was just salty, not a bit of Greek flavor. Anyone who has ever eaten in Greece will experience a bitter disappointment here. An embarrassingly empty plate for just under €30. Gyros exactly 5 pieces with a hint of charcoal aroma, hard, dry, bland The 3 types of meat all had the same boring salty flavor. Actually, I wanted to leave after the first piece, but since we were in a large group, I didn't let anything show for decency. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, the ouzo flowed freely. After all, we were almost drunk after the sad meal. I can't shake the feeling that the aim here is to use alcohol to distract from the food and simply to achieve maximum revenue with as little effort as possible. Conclusion: When it comes to ouzo, don't skimp on the herbs and the food.

Great local. Super nice waiters. We'd love to come back. During the week there is a daily menu and also portions for seniors if they are slightly hungry. The atmosphere is cozy. If it's someone's birthday, there's a bonus 💗.

First impression wow, really nice but that changed quite quickly when our order was delivered, drinks were forgotten and the food in my case, gyros were swimming in fat and dry, burnt meat. But the fries were really great, they soaked up the liquid Metaxa very well.

Ich würde auch 10 Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte. Wir waren mit 7 Freunden im Syrtaki Gommern essen. Ich habe lange nicht so toll gespeist. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist der Hammer!!! Soooo lecker die Speisen und mega freundliche Bedienungen. Es war ein Erlebnis, den Abend in so toller Atmosphäre zu verbringen. Für Geburtstagskinder wurde „Happy Birthday“ gespielt und gesungen. Das Licht gedämpft und eine kleine (ich glaube) Torte/Muffin mit Wunderkerze serviert. Für meine Insta-Story habe ich als Dankeschön ein Herzglas voll mit Ouzo erhalten. So tolles Team!!! So eine tolle Location!!! Hier fühlt man sich willkommen und wertgeschätzt. Zum Abschluss haben wir - jedes Paar - einen 2024er Kalender mit tollen Griechenland-Fotos erhalten. DANKESCHÖN 🙏🏼

Nicht nur das Essen ist reichlich sondern auch der Service. Preislich ist das angebotene Essen auch völlig super. Das Personal ist freundlich und für kleine Späße offen. Wir haben für unsere Griechenlandreise gute Tipps bekommen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
