We love going to Syrtaki. Yes, it's not cheap, but where is eating out still affordable? The food is delicious and the service is always friendly. In the summer, the terrace is a great place to sit!

Yesterday, my daughter, son-in-law, and I went there. We sat in the back of the restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely. It smelled wonderful. They had freshly tapped Eschweger Klosterbräu beer. The food was fantastic! Fried pepperoni with bread and tzatziki. I had beef liver and gyros with rice. The meat was incredibly delicious. I drank two large Eschweger beers, ate everything, and was completely satisfied and pleasantly full. As a parting gift, the waiter gave us four ouzos. A classic Greek restaurant, a nice place, the waiters had a few jokes, everyone was very friendly. Only 3 stars for the food because my favorite is seafood, which wasn't really available here. The gyros, souvlaki, etc., were okay.

Despite the house being full, the service was pleasant and there were no waiting times.

The food was simply delicious, and the value for money was excellent. The staff were very friendly and cheerful, and up for a laugh. It was just a shame that the main course arrived while I was still in the middle of my starter. I didn't get to enjoy it properly because I ate faster so the main course wouldn't get cold. Nevertheless, my husband and I would go back anytime, even if we weren't on vacation. We highly recommend this restaurant.

When you first see the restaurant, it doesn't seem very attractive. However, when you walk in, walk straight to the balcony or ask to be taken out onto the balcony. It offers a different atmosphere. It's a nice place to sit outside and listen to quiet music. The food is delicious. The service is okay.

I had lamb chops, and they were delicious. We also had a lot of ozono, and a bottle is much cheaper than the amount in jars.

Plenty of food and good food at moderate prices. But somehow everything was very dry. Gyros came without tzatziki. Ouzo only came with the bill. If he had come straight after dinner, I would have ordered a second beer.

We were there Friday evening, March 21, 2025, and were absolutely thrilled. I haven't had such good Greek food in a long time. Owner Wula was very nice and friendly, as were everyone else who worked there. Highly recommended. If we're ever in Eschwege again, we'll definitely reserve a table! I was shocked, this restaurant has changed so much for the worse. You almost die of thirst because they simply don't ask you if you want to drink anything else. Meat totally dry, fries rock hard. Burning butts in the ashtray right next to the kitchen (that's the way to the toilets). I'm really disappointed. I will no longer be a guest there. Of course I didn't tip, and there was hardly any service.

Way too loud and the food wasn't nearly as good as usual...mine was almost completely cold, not even luke warm...liver was as dry and tough as the sole of a shoe...we won't be going there for the time being... Even though we are regular guests...it's all over for the moment...

Santorini in North Hesse! Not a myth but a perfect place also/especially for larger groups such as. ABI anniversary celebrations (hall). Top service - always a smile even in hectic times! Insider tip: be sure to try the delicious Athena platter for 4 people as a nightcap after the ouzo!!

Just today I noticed again how, even when it was extremely busy (Open Flair visitors), everything was super quick and despite the stress, the staff served all the guests very friendly and with a motivating charisma. Although everything was reserved without exception, we were still able to dine here without a reservation. Cheers to these arranged employees. A big shout out to the kitchen, which delivered great quality as always despite the enormous rush. Dear Syrtaki team, you are the best.

The outside of the restaurant is stuck in the 70s, but the inside is fine. The food comes quickly, but since I had an appetizer, a little too quickly. I didn't even come close to finishing that; the main course arrived. That was annoying. The food was good, portion size was also okay.
