Alles war wunderbar. Ich habe hier mit meiner ganzen Familie zu Abend gegessen. Dieses Erlebnis war unvergesslich, das Essen war so köstlich, dass ich 5 Sterne vergebe. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Der Service ist sehr schnell. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben beschlossen, wiederzukommen. Ich möchte dem gesamten Restaurantteam herzlich danken! 🙏

- Freundliche Bedienung - "normal scharf" war für uns genau richtig gewürzt - einige Tische im Außenbereich - auch wenn die Schalen zunächst klein aussehen, sind wir gut satt geworden.

Ein von aussen eher unauffälliges Restaurant mit einigen Sitzplätzen außen und vielen weiteren Tischen innen. Bei dem Wetter heute war ein Tisch draußen die richtige Wahl. Sehr reichhaltige Speisekarte. Mit oder ohne Fleisch oder Fisch und mild bis scharf je nach Geschmack für jeden etwas dabei der gerne indische Küche mag. Ich hatte diesmal die nicht vegetarische Platte mit diversen Gerichten und Naan und Reis dabei. Alles sehr lecker und mild gewürzt. Meine Tischnachbarin hatte die gleiche Platte nur in der vegetarischen Variante. Sah auch gut aus. Service war freundlich und schnell, wobei es heute eher wenig besucht war. Komme gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes kleines familiäres und gemütliches Restaurant. Der Service ist sehr Gastfreundlich und das Essen war lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Wir hatten einen Tisch für 2. Die Portionen waren für 2 bedacht. Man brachte uns wie selbstverständlich zusätzliche Teller, sodass wir teilen und gemeinsam von allem essen konnten. Ich fand es sehr schön.

Fantastische Chole Puri und Lassi

Wir waren schon mehrfach in diesem Restaurant und es ist immer sehr lecker, mit bestem sehr freundlichen Service und einem rundum guten Gefühl. Der Laden ist sehr groß, was den Vorteil hat, dass man auch ohne Reservierung eine Chance auf einen Platz hat, aber dadurch jetzt auch nicht so gemütlich und cozy. Das hat aber keinen Einfluss auf die Bewertung, die absolut verdient top sein muss.

Ein Highlight in der Neusser Gastroszene. Sehr gutes indisches Essen, immer freundlicher Service. Außenbereich an der ruhigen Straße. Mittagstisch für Eilige sehr gut. Auch mit größeren Gruppen buchbar. Wir hatten die Weihnachtsfeier dort.

Sehr gutes, indisches Essen. Gut gewürzt auch für einen deutschen Magen, aber es gut auch feurigen. Sehr nettes Personal. Lage ist gut, 2 Parkhäuser in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir kommen seit Jahren hierher! Der beste Inder, bei dem wir jemals waren. An Swades kommt keiner ran!

Fantastisches Essen! Wir hatten das nicht-vegetarische Thali, es war wirklich köstlich! Schade, dass es hier so ruhig ist. Aber bei dem guten Essen gewöhnt man sich bestimmt daran.

Ich habe schon in vielen indischen Restaurants in ganz Europa und darüber hinaus gegessen, aber das heutige Erlebnis war unvergleichlich. Geschmacklich war es mit Abstand eines der besten – wenn nicht sogar das beste –, das ich je gegessen habe. Wirklich herausragend. Mir fehlen ehrlich gesagt die Worte. 🤩

Ohne Reservierung ist es sehr schwer hier an dich zu bekommen! Die Vorspeisen Platte und das Curry waren hervorragend. Der Service ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, dies war definitiv nicht mein letzter Besuch hier.

Das Essen war sehr gut (Lamm-Curry Goan) und reichlich. Nicht scharf mit Reis. Man muss ein bisschen warten aber dafür ist das Essen auch wirklich heiß. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Sehr aufmerksamer Kellner,sehr freundlich und gab übers Essen geduldig Auskunft. Raum modern und sauber eingerichtet, das bestellte Essen kam sehr zügig und schmeckte sehr lecker und war vom Preis her angemessen. Mein Lammgericht war sehr zart und die Gewürze konnte mann gut herausschmecken. Werde auf jedenfall nochmals dort einkehren und weitere Gerichte probieren. DANKE FÜR DEN SCHÖNEN TAG.

Sehr lecker und authentisches essen

Ich vergebe für den Service nur 3 Sterne, weil der Kellner, während wir aßen, einen Tisch neben uns mit Fensterreiniger besprühte, und wir konnten den Geruch noch einige Sekunden lang wahrnehmen, was sehr unangenehm war.

Good afternoon. I've been to Swade Neuss several times. Last time, I had the Chicken Lemon, Garlic Naan, and those delicious Indian potato fritters. The naan is amazing. I love eating Indian food and have visited several Indian restaurants in Germany and Austria, but the naan is nowhere near as good. The curry sauce/lemon curry was simply fantastic. It was presented beautifully with a fresh, perfectly sliced ​​lemon and—at my request—prepared mild. Of course, it had a fresh lemon flavor, but no single taste stood out, and the overall flavor was simply wonderful. The chicken was cooked thoroughly, very tender, and easy to digest. Everything was very easy to digest, even for my often very sensitive stomach. Highly recommended if you're looking for Indian food in Neuss.

Excellent service and value for money, I can highly recommend it.

We received a warm welcome and the service was consistently friendly. The dishes seemed a bit small at first glance, but in the end, the portions were perfectly adequate. The fish soup as a starter and the garlic naan as a main course are particularly recommended. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. Overall, a restaurant we would gladly recommend.

Really delicious food, reasonably priced lunch specials, and the hosts are always friendly. The lamb curry was good, and the vindaloo was also excellent on both of our visits. We'll be back. Addendum: My only minor criticism is that I always seem to run out of rice. Ordering extra rice costs €4 (if I remember correctly), and I only need two spoonfuls. It's fine for a group, but for me alone, it's not good value for money, and I would appreciate a small portion of rice available to order separately. Update: I had the vegetable curry today, and it was fantastic.

10/2025: We spontaneously visited Swades for the second time. As always, it was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly. This time we had lunch. The lunch menu was truly plentiful and the prices were great. 11/2023: My girlfriend and I spontaneously went to the restaurant with our babies today. We were immediately seated. The entire staff was very friendly and child-friendly. A highchair was available, and my son's evening meal was warmed up. The food arrived very quickly and tasted excellent. This definitely won't be my last visit.

Ordered spicy and got it spicy. Lunch was fair value. The food came quickly. Service was prompt. It tasted good.

My teenager sons made me promise to give the restaurant five stars. For good reason. We had a relaxing dinner to the sound of rustling trees. Initially, the boys said the portions look small, but they ended up not being able to finish. Presentation is beautiful and the service is caring, attentive, yet not intrusive. Everything is just right.

Every visit to Swades is worth it because it's a pleasure every time. I can only recommend it to everyone with a clear conscience!

We had to wait a very long time for the food. When it finally arrived, I was completely shocked by the tiny bowls the main course came in. In other restaurants, even the appetizer is bigger than that! Plus, it's way too expensive; another visit is out of the question. Reply to Swades's response: I've been to several other Indian restaurants where I've also received food in small bowls, the only difference being that they were much larger. They also often gave you free bread/papadums as a starter.

We were in Düsseldorf for a caravan and stayed overnight in Neuss. For dinner, we chose Swades 2018, and it was truly worth it! We received a very friendly welcome and were seated immediately. The restaurant was very busy, but we were still served drinks, appetizers, and then our main course. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was all deliciously prepared. We were extremely satisfied! We returned for dinner the next evening. Very good value for money! Thank you so much for two wonderful dinners.

The food is always a highlight of the day; we always enjoy ordering something. It's difficult to decide whether to stick with the same order, which always tastes good, or try something new. So far, it's always been a hit. The best and most authentic Indian food in Germany!!! Every time, we're greeted and made to feel at home in a really friendly and attentive manner. You feel at home. The decor and hygiene are, in my opinion, ideal and unbeatable!! Highly recommended!

We’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times before and always had a great experience, so we decided to host our private party here — and we couldn’t be happier with that decision! The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating. They allowed us to set up our own decor, and we had about 35 guests for a few hours. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. They even served hot naan directly to our tables, which everyone appreciated. We’re truly grateful to the owners and the entire team at restaurant for making our special day so memorable. Got a lot of Indian food and that was the worst Indian we've had in a long time. Both were pretty disappointed and can't understand the good reviews. It was very tasteless all together. The only exception was the Garlic Naan. That was really tasty. In any case, there won't be a repeat here for us...

The restaurant wasn’t too crowded, and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere was quite calm—adding some music and better lighting could improve the experience. The sauces were delicious and definitely worth recommending. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Tika Masla Chicken, but there wasn’t much difference in taste between the two. The chicken itself didn’t taste great; I’m not sure if it was undercooked. I would still recommend the place, as it offers some authentic flavors of India.

Had dinner there for the first time today. The operation/service was very good! After ordering, the food was at the table relatively quickly even though the restaurant was full. Food was very good! Not too spicy and well seasoned... Mango lassi and mango spritzer were a feast for the palate. Of course what we ordered too! We will come back and recommend this restaurant. 👍🏼

Leider sehr enttäuschend, seltsames Fleisch, kein guter Geschmack. Die Fotos des Essens sahen gut aus, auch Naan Brot etc, selbst bis es dann letztlich an den Tisch gebracht wurde. Die Soße jedoch wenig „Curry“ kaum gewürzt, das Fleisch jedoch schoss den Vogel ab: Seltsame Fettränder des Chicken, beinahe jedes Stück durchwachsen, hat komisch geschmeckt. Das Naan auch nicht gewürzt, von Fett durchtränkt. Bedienung und Chef sehr freundlich, was es schwer macht diese Bewertung zu geben, ist jedoch leider nicht besser darzustellen. Kann man so nicht empfehlen. Da muss sich die Küche neu sortieren

Simply great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Uncomplicated table reservations possible via WhatsApp the day before. Super friendly and courteous staff who do their job in the service with ❤️blood. The food was super tasty and the portion was such that you were really full but not too full. I had the 25 for the starter and the 85 for the main course. The meat was super tender and both dishes tasted like a dream. Great combination of different flavors and the spiciness/spiciness is just right. All in all really recommended 👍 we will definitely come back 😊
