Excellent service and value for money, I can highly recommend it.

We received a warm welcome and the service was consistently friendly. The dishes seemed a bit small at first glance, but in the end, the portions were perfectly adequate. The fish soup as a starter and the garlic naan as a main course are particularly recommended. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. Overall, a restaurant we would gladly recommend.

This was my third time at Swades. Attentive service, great/large selection, the food was always delicious. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back ❤️

Really delicious food, reasonably priced lunch specials, and the hosts are always friendly. The lamb curry was good, and the vindaloo was also excellent on both of our visits. We'll be back. Addendum: My only minor criticism is that I always seem to run out of rice. Ordering extra rice costs €4 (if I remember correctly), and I only need two spoonfuls. It's fine for a group, but for me alone, it's not good value for money, and I would appreciate a small portion of rice available to order separately. Update: I had the vegetable curry today, and it was fantastic.

10/2025: We spontaneously visited Swades for the second time. As always, it was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly. This time we had lunch. The lunch menu was truly plentiful and the prices were great. 11/2023: My girlfriend and I spontaneously went to the restaurant with our babies today. We were immediately seated. The entire staff was very friendly and child-friendly. A highchair was available, and my son's evening meal was warmed up. The food arrived very quickly and tasted excellent. This definitely won't be my last visit.

My teenager sons made me promise to give the restaurant five stars. For good reason. We had a relaxing dinner to the sound of rustling trees. Initially, the boys said the portions look small, but they ended up not being able to finish. Presentation is beautiful and the service is caring, attentive, yet not intrusive. Everything is just right.

We had to wait a very long time for the food. When it finally arrived, I was completely shocked by the tiny bowls the main course came in. In other restaurants, even the appetizer is bigger than that! Plus, it's way too expensive; another visit is out of the question. Reply to Swades's response: I've been to several other Indian restaurants where I've also received food in small bowls, the only difference being that they were much larger. They also often gave you free bread/papadums as a starter.

We were in Düsseldorf for a caravan and stayed overnight in Neuss. For dinner, we chose Swades 2018, and it was truly worth it! We received a very friendly welcome and were seated immediately. The restaurant was very busy, but we were still served drinks, appetizers, and then our main course. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was all deliciously prepared. We were extremely satisfied! We returned for dinner the next evening. Very good value for money! Thank you so much for two wonderful dinners.

So, where should I begin... We've ordered many times, both for takeaway in and over the phone for collection, and the stated time has always been beaten. The food is always a highlight of the day; we always enjoy ordering something. It's difficult to decide whether to stick with the same order, which always tastes good, or try something new. So far, it's always been a hit. The best and most authentic Indian food in Germany!!! Every time, we're greeted and made to feel at home in a really friendly and attentive manner. You feel at home. The decor and hygiene are, in my opinion, ideal and unbeatable!! Highly recommended!

We’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times before and always had a great experience, so we decided to host our private party here — and we couldn’t be happier with that decision! The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating. They allowed us to set up our own decor, and we had about 35 guests for a few hours. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. They even served hot naan directly to our tables, which everyone appreciated. We’re truly grateful to the owners and the entire team at restaurant for making our special day so memorable. Got a lot of Indian food and that was the worst Indian we've had in a long time. Both were pretty disappointed and can't understand the good reviews. It was very tasteless all together. The only exception was the Garlic Naan. That was really tasty. In any case, there won't be a repeat here for us...

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. I can highly recommend the garlic and onion naan, with yogurt sauce, but all of the chicken main courses ordered at the table were also very good.

The restaurant wasn’t too crowded, and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere was quite calm—adding some music and better lighting could improve the experience. The sauces were delicious and definitely worth recommending. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Tika Masla Chicken, but there wasn’t much difference in taste between the two. The chicken itself didn’t taste great; I’m not sure if it was undercooked. I would still recommend the place, as it offers some authentic flavors of India.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The food didn't taste like anything. Spices that are otherwise known from Indian cuisine were missing. When this was complained about, there was no response. However, the waiter was very friendly. However, he can't help it.

Had dinner there for the first time today. The operation/service was very good! After ordering, the food was at the table relatively quickly even though the restaurant was full. Food was very good! Not too spicy and well seasoned... Mango lassi and mango spritzer were a feast for the palate. Of course what we ordered too! We will come back and recommend this restaurant. 👍🏼

Very good Indian restaurant. Service is very polite and flexible. Food had a great taste and was portioned really well. Tables were spread around in a way thst there was little to no interference between guests even when it was busy. Price was very reasonable.

Leider sehr enttäuschend, seltsames Fleisch, kein guter Geschmack. Die Fotos des Essens sahen gut aus, auch Naan Brot etc, selbst bis es dann letztlich an den Tisch gebracht wurde. Die Soße jedoch wenig „Curry“ kaum gewürzt, das Fleisch jedoch schoss den Vogel ab: Seltsame Fettränder des Chicken, beinahe jedes Stück durchwachsen, hat komisch geschmeckt. Das Naan auch nicht gewürzt, von Fett durchtränkt. Bedienung und Chef sehr freundlich, was es schwer macht diese Bewertung zu geben, ist jedoch leider nicht besser darzustellen. Kann man so nicht empfehlen. Da muss sich die Küche neu sortieren

Simply great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Uncomplicated table reservations possible via WhatsApp the day before. Super friendly and courteous staff who do their job in the service with ❤️blood. The food was super tasty and the portion was such that you were really full but not too full. I had the 25 for the starter and the 85 for the main course. The meat was super tender and both dishes tasted like a dream. Great combination of different flavors and the spiciness/spiciness is just right. All in all really recommended 👍 we will definitely come back 😊

Poestiv ist das es meiner Famiele geschmekt hat. Ich hatte mir erhofft etwas klassisch Indisches zu bekommen. Ich hatte das Tadoree Lamm , es war in einer roten Paste , so das man es nicht rausschmeckte und dazu war es komplett troken. Auch das Brot hat mir nicht geschmeckt. Das Hähnchen bei den anderen in Tomaten-Buttersauce war ok, aber leider auch nichts besonderes . Dazu kam das bei mir und meinem Schwager das alkohlfreie Bier einen komischen Geschmak hatte. Für mich waren leider alle Gerichte nicht lecker und meins auch noch handwerklich schlecht. Aber ganz klar den anderen hat es wohl geschmekt!

Tried out Swades for the first time with the family last week. The location is very central, a few meters from the pedestrian zone and the parking garage is just 150m away. The service was friendly and customers' requests for spiciness were met. I can highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, which is wonderfully marinated in red and tastes excellent. The other two dishes are a bit of a disappointment in comparison. According to the son, the mandatory drink Mango Lassi was also excellent and the house wine was also good. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back when the opportunity arises. With 2 adults and an 8 year old we paid €71.

A very good Indian restaurant, which you would expect in Cologne or Düsseldorf. The quality of the food on the two previous visits was impeccable, the aroma of the chutneys and sauces was sophisticated, the bathura was very very delicious and the meat was impeccable. The service was never intrusive, always attentive and very friendly. Certainly in this category (and perhaps not only in that category) it is easily the best restaurant in Neuss. Absolute recommendation! A very good Indian restaurant, the kind you'd expect to find in Cologne or Düsseldorf. The quality of the dishes during both visits was flawless, the aroma of the chutneys and sauces was refined, the Bathura incredibly delicious, and the meat perfect. Was in neuss for 2 weeks during the euros. Visited here twice and both times more than impressed. First time was for a takeaway and second time we ate in. Food was lovely. Staff are also lovely.

Nice family restaurant with very delicious and authentic Indian food. The portions might not look it, but they are very big and you're best off sharing dishes (as intended) and try different things. Definitely recommend getting the garlic naan!

In einer Stadt wie Neuss hätte ich persönlich nicht gedacht, so ein gutes indisches Restaurant vorzufinden. Aber es ist absolut empfehlenswert. Wer also in der Nähe ist und diese Art der Küche mag, sollte es mal testen! :-)
