Sushi & Nem in Leipzig

It's a shame, the unclear service offer results in high costs. Instead of a Happy Meal including a small drink for €14, it's all you can eat for €18.90 plus €3.50 for a 0.2l water. Please look carefully at what's checked. It's a shame there was no discussion afterward.

Very good all-you-can-eat. The food selection is very varied and of a very high quality. We've been here several times and have been satisfied every time. The prices, especially considering the current prices, are simply unbeatable.

I can no longer recommend this restaurant. While the food used to be varied and delicious, now you sometimes find yourself waiting for your food while the conveyor belt runs empty or there's no variety. Simple 🍣, rice, and potato products are now the norm. Drinks costing upwards of €5 a glass are extortionate, and the service, for example, clearing empty plates, is nonexistent.

We've been sitting here for 30 minutes and haven't seen a pineapple, jelly, squid, or seaweed salad in 20 minutes. It's just the same cheap rubbish, without much variety. The drinks are so expensive that we're forced to go somewhere else after dinner. Many of the dishes only look good but taste absolutely nothing. For €18.90 per person, you can't expect more.

No restroom in the store, so you have to run halfway through Brühl during your paid hour for all-you-can-eat food, and then end up paying to go to the bathroom... The people at the checkout didn't want to accept the 70-cent coupon either. The food is okay, but unfortunately, nothing more.

This sushi bar restaurant is one of my favorites in Germany. The hour for the all-you-can-eat option is totally fine in my opinion, and sufficient for me, a fat guy. The place was clean, and I also loved the variety of options on the bar. My recommendation: Sit in the back right, at the beginning of the bar, so the bar is always full. 🤤 I love coming here with my good friends, and we'll be back!

We used to enjoy visiting. We know that with a concept like this you can't expect restaurant quality. But today the food on the "lanes" was simply old. Some of the sauces had curdled, the fat had already separated out. The avocado and fish on the sushi were already grey. Unfortunately everything was cold. There were almost only filling side dishes like potatoes and doughy dishes. Hardly any meat, no crab, no soup, no meat skewers like we used to know. Now two hours later my wife has thrown up several times. I can't prove a connection, but I can imagine it very well. For us it was the last visit.

Unfortunately, it was completely different than expected. There was hardly any sushi to choose from, just a lot of Thai-style and fried dishes. No information at the table about what's on the plates (very difficult for allergy sufferers). Depending on where you sit, you have to be incredibly quick to get the plate you want. My stomach was really churning afterward. The place generally seems a bit dingy when you take a closer look. At least the service was quick, and I got my drink in two minutes and didn't have to wait to pay either. Wouldn't go there again.

If you like sushi, this is the place for you. The best part was the "all-you-can-eat" option. Even if you only have an hour, you'll easily be able to get full. The sushi 🍣 was ​​delicious, and the conveyor belt was always well-stocked. The soups and hot dishes on the second conveyor belt were also very good. The restrooms here are a bit tricky. They're a bit hidden, and you have to pay. You get a voucher that can be redeemed at participating restaurants. Unfortunately, not here. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves here. We'll be back. 👍🍣🍣

We had to wait a bit for our free table, but that was okay, less than 10 minutes. The all-you-can-eat menu is valid for an hour, and that should be enough. Upstairs, there's a conveyor belt with hot food, while downstairs, there's sushi. It should be clear that you can't expect high-end food at that price, but the value for money is good. We found the food varied and good. The fries are pretty mediocre. The sushi was okay and was constantly being refilled; we could watch it being made. The selection was good. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed, but it was lunchtime and very busy.

The food tastes good and is freshly prepared. We received the bill exactly 60 minutes later, even though we hadn't finished eating. When we asked, we were told we only had one hour. The "all you can eat" option states this, but we hadn't chosen it! It was early afternoon, and there were no people waiting for a table. So, to me, this is incomprehensible and not customer-friendly.

Most of it was batter from the deep fryer, and I don't need to go to a restaurant like this for that. When I asked whether dishes could be topped up with chicken or duck, I was given an unfriendly answer in Chinese. It wasn't worth the money, especially as there were four of us. I won't be going to this restaurant again.

I'm new to the city and entered the open space somewhat disoriented. I was immediately rudely told to wait at the front. No friendly "please," no greeting, nothing, just an unfriendly "snarl." No thanks. I was warmly greeted at Dean and David further ahead and had a delicious meal there. Conclusion: I won't be returning to that sushi place.

The food is delicious and varied, with many tasty dishes. The tables are always clean, and the dishes are spotless. I think this place is worth a visit if you're in Leipzig.

My expectations for an all-you-can-eat buffet in a shopping mall weren't high, but unfortunately, they weren't met. The sushi tasted of nothing and was poorly presented, the hot dishes were incredibly greasy, and there wasn't much variety. A shame. The space, ambiance, and service were also rather mediocre.

We had the all-you-can-eat option for €18.90 and were absolutely delighted. The sushi was very varied (e.g., salmon nigiris and summer rolls with chicken or seaweed salad), and all of it was delicious. The drinks are a bit pricey at €5 per 0.4 liter glass, but that's normal. The hot dishes on the upper side were all delicious, especially the hot desserts. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try a conveyor sushi belt. We'll be back!

The food is actually quite tasty, but after we specifically asked for tap water and were given water, we ended up having to pay €10 for two large waters. That's really cheeky.

The music selection is very varied, from current hits to Chinese techno. We could always ask for a new pudding and were always given more with a smile. By the end, we were full and even the last table always got something. Unfortunately, it's very crowded, but otherwise it's great.

I was inspired by a blog about Leipzig and went to Sushi & Nem with my children yesterday. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. From the ambiance to the service and the quality of the sushi and the other dishes on offer left a lot to be desired. The sushi selection is very limited; sometimes the plates go around in circles for ages, and you have no idea how long they've been there. There's no sign of freshness. The taste of this place was also completely unimpressive. So, we can't recommend it. Unfortunately!

Attention NO MORE TOILETS in the store. It's not signposted anywhere. If you have to go to the bathroom you have to go to the Brühl Center BUT of course time is still running for an all you can eat... Otherwise it was okay to delicious.

Unfortunately it has become more and more expensive over the years but the quality remains the same and the variety has decreased significantly. Now 17€ happy hour and normal 18.90€ all you can eat. What is an absolute disgrace, however, are the drinks prices, €5 for a glass of cola.

As a student, this place is great for cheap all-you-can-eat sushi. Limited to 1 hour, but plenty of choices. Don’t expect premium quality, but it’s worth the price!

We had the pleasure of visiting Sushi & Nem in Leipzig and were completely thrilled! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. We were particularly impressed by the quick service, which not only explained the principle but also immediately cleared away empty plates - so our table always remained tidy and comfortable. The highlight, however, was the large selection of fresh, varied dishes. Regardless of whether it was sushi or warm finger food – there was always a rich and appealing offering. The combination of warm and cold dishes is a great idea that provides a lot of variety and suits every taste. Overall, a great experience that we can only recommend. The next time we visit Leipzig, Sushi & Nem will definitely be on our list again!

Just went to Sushi Nem and had one of the worst experiences ever. First of all, I wasn't allowed to sit with my friend - for whatever reason, it was completely incomprehensible and rude. The staff? Just extremely unfriendly and rude. No trace of hospitality! The food? Almost irrelevant after this treatment, but nothing special either. Mediocre in taste, carelessly prepared and the price-performance ratio is absolutely not justified. There are definitely better alternatives in the city. Conclusion: If you want a nice evening with good sushi and friendly service - go somewhere else! Sushi Nem will never see me again.

Always great to eat there for little money

We were there today on Sunday It's really not recommended Everything is very dry and especially the salmon is dark because it has been standing for so long. The warm dishes look very good but also taste very bitter because they have turned out very bad. We ate 10 plates and paid €50 for them.

Good for in between meals and eating is okay for me. But it's probably not designed for a long stay either.

The running sushi is a cool experience. There are both warm and cold dishes and also a good selection for people who don't like sushi. Unfortunately it is often very crowded and you have to wait a while. On our last visit the staff wasn't that friendly and we were pushed to hurry up.

Pretty decent food. Some of the options like Oyster,squid etc don’t come often through the conveyer belt. Not many sitting places so you may have to wait for some time especially on the weekends. Overall worth the price.

The food is typical fast food. It doesn't stand out from other restaurants of this type. However, the service is completely unfriendly. The gentleman who served us seemed to be doing us a favor by even nodding his head to every question. We probably won't come back here.

Unfortunately not recommended at all. I wanted to have a small lunch so I stopped by this shop. I ordered an in-out roll with cucumber, salmon and avocado and a miso soup. The miso soup was very great, very tasty. The sushi was even more disappointing. The rice was hard and old, the avocado was also hard, the salmon was tough and raises concerns about food poisoning. The sushi rolls in the buffet don't look good either; in addition to strange combinations, the sushi also looks very carelessly put together. The store is also not clean. As another aspect of the lack of hygiene and sloppy work, I would like to point out that gluten-containing soy sauce was filled into a container for gluten-free soy sauce. This is irresponsible! At least a note on the container would be appropriate! Overall, my experience here was totally disappointing and I hope my review can save others their disappointment. Avoid this shop

We were there on a Friday at 8:30 p.m. and opted for the all you can eat. The sushi really wasn't very good. Not much choice and some plates have probably been on the conveyor belt for a while. What was most disturbing was that the room was cleaned up after 8:45 p.m., which made the atmosphere very restless and unpleasant. We then had to pay at 9:00 p.m., even though the opening times were stated as 9:30 p.m. It was also way too expensive for what we got.

I‘m glad the other conveyor sushi place turned me down (😤) because i got to discover this place ❤️ the food is as good as the casual conveyor places in Tokyo. Great value for your money especially with the Unlimited option which is great if you‘re hungry.

There are definitely better All You Can Eat Sushi offers (especially in terms of variety, but also in terms of price-performance), but in principle you can get delicious sushi + nem (various other things like chicken skewers, small curry dishes) for €19 per hour. plate, shrimp, baked banana etc.) eat. First of all, I've eaten there about 3 or 4 times in the last 5 years. At that time there was the other restaurant on Petersstrasse, which has now become a Starbucks. Until then I could never say anything bad about the place. The offer consisted of the most famous and mass-popular dishes from East Asia. Now me and my companion finally thought, why not take a look again and take advantage of the All You Can Eat offer? We sat at the assembly line, ate and talked - which is what you do. At first I thought the portions were relatively normal and it tasted the same. After a while, a nigiri with white fish rolled past me and I noticed several small, dark pieces of lint on it. (Fun fact: the plate made several rounds because no one wanted to eat it). Then I spotted the kimchi. I'm a fan of it and unfortunately I also know what it shouldn't taste like. I took it out and wanted to give it to my companion to test because she didn't know it. Honestly, I'm glad I tried it first because it tasted fermented and a quick sniff confirmed my suspicion that it was no longer good. Because of the previous experience mentioned above, I was a little surprised and then looked at the rest. Most of the sushi looked pretty messy. At times it looked as if the maki would fall apart as soon as you tried to pick it up with chopsticks. The only thing that ultimately remains the same is the music played and the interior design. Otherwise I'm disappointed with the development because I liked going there.

Guys, I had ordered a water drink, when I wanted to pay I thought I was falling off my chair, I had to pay a total of €21, I thought he must have miscalculated, NOOOOO he meant €5 for water, for WATER, cheap tap water , I was shocked. 🥲 How can you charge 5€ for water, that's a third of the price of the food, I'm really shocked at how much you take it for granted to rip off your customers like that???? Really shameful, no one should eat there or if you eat there, don't order a DRINK (btw I had a small drink 0.4). That was the most painful €5 of my life! honestly disappointed in you! The “warm” food was cold and the sauce was already solid again. There was also a worm in the curry sauce. After the employees were asked about it, we were only given a waiver of drinks.

Sushi with sliced ​​cheese is a bit strange. But maybe the people of Leipzig like that? The belt emptied relatively quickly and it came... NOTHING! When I asked if something else would be added, they put green jelly on it. I had time, so I waited 20 minutes. Complained again, then plates of thinly sliced ​​warm duck on vegetables and new sushi followed. At least it was something. I didn't feel like eating anywhere else anymore - but I was hungry. So I ordered sashimi from the menu and grabbed something that was passing by. In general, I don't think it's a good thing that so many sushi are always topped with cucumber instead of avocado. You had to look for the one with avocado. Of course it's a question of price but it should also be varied. The sashimi was good, that's why I gave it 2 stars!
