Sushi Goku in Berlin

November 2024, restaurant is closed, apparently forever.

I moved next door two years ago. I ate there a lot and I like the food (just their buns are overpriced and ridiculously small). One has to order online, as they serve online orders first. Waiting outside, even as a repeating customer, can be frustrating as the service girls don’t care about you and are rude and unfriendly. Front staff doesn’t know the food they sell at all. In around 30 orders, online or in person, they didn’t manage a single time to not add Wasabi (I am allergic), no matter how I said it or how much I insisted. This adds to the staff’s complete ignorance towards customers. Now it seems to have closed. The tables are still inside but it hasn’t opened for about a month now. Of course: no message, no sign on the door.

I ordered sushi today through Lieferando. The order was accepted quickly and, according to the app, delivered 40 minutes later. The problem, however, was that the order never arrived. After lengthy attempts to contact me (Sushi Goku couldn't be reached at all and Lieferando was very difficult), Lieferando informed me that Sushi Goku had water damage and shouldn't be open at all. If there was water damage, then I wonder why the order was initially accepted and then supposedly delivered 🤔 A rogue who thinks bad things about it. I won't order here anymore because you stay hungry and lose your money.

Order is half an hour late and the restaurant cannot be reached 😭 Edit: More than 2 hours later, Lieferando claims that the order was received, which it isn't, ignoring my complaint. Restaurant is still unreachable. Edit 2: A day later, restaurant is still unreachable, Lieferando has not replied. Everyone seem to have received my money.

The store looked great from the outside, so we went inside. Unfortunately the staff seemed very listless and we had to get the menus ourselves. There were no drinks until the waitress pointed out two torn pages on the counter. The drinks were on there. The food itself was dripping with fat and was listlessly prepared. Questions only received short, listless answers. We won't come here anymore.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere on site was different than Google had previously expected. The fan outside was so loud that unfortunately none of the customers felt bothered by it and the rooms inside were too dark for me personally, not in a pleasant romanticized way, but simply implemented in an unfavorable way. Plus the poster, which for me didn't fit with the rest of the location - so unfortunately we immediately decided to go somewhere else. It's a shame, I have to say.

I was invited to eat sushi, exactly my thing. I was very impressed by the variety and the varieties prepared with dedication. Everything was made by hand, which is no longer a given today. Very generous portions. The bubble tea was also a poem. The service was attentive and courteous. There were around 15-18 people and the dishes were neatly served so that we had the pleasure of trying all the different varieties. I will definitely visit this sushi restaurant with my wife. I was told that it costs between €30-40 for two people. That's reasonable considering the quality and quantity offered. If you're lucky enough to live nearby, you can also have it delivered. For me, one of the best sushi restaurants in the city. I allow myself this judgment because I travel widely around the city and know the best restaurants in the city.

Check prices carefully. I ordered a dish that cost 16.50 and they charged me 18 because the menu was "old". When we complained to the waitresses they were very rude and asked us to return the food for a fee of €1.50. I think that's no way to treat customers.

I can only recommend this shop. I have never eaten as well as I did here. Fantastic thanks for the good food and service

We paid 43€ for a set of rolls. Very tasty! But there is something to strive for 🦅 Worth a visit You can pay in cash or by bank transfer Update: the service has become terrible.

I ordered fried sushi with salmon and got rotten, cold, limp parts. Emphasis on rotten, it tasted like organic waste bin smells.

Not recommended. The fish in particular is difficult to recognize as fish by taste. Lots of rice, carelessly prepared and then covered with mayo. I'm annoyed that I left over 40 euros there. By the way, the beef fillet has nothing to do with beef fillet.

I got a bubble tea, quick service but the worker taking our order was really rude. The place had flies swarming around the place and had a weird smell to it. Otherwise bubble tea was good,

Ordering a cup of Café Crema (€3.60) was not possible because there was no coffee.🫣

We hebben super hard genoten van de sushi. Echt heel lekker! De bediening daaraantegen was niet vriendelijk of gastvrij. Lijkt mij dus een ideale plek om uit te halen, maar niet daar te eten.

This was by far the biggest disaster I have experienced. We sat down. Table dirty, ashtray full, almost half of the drinks we wanted weren't available, plates dirty with leftover sauce and broken plates. Food is somehow served on the service plates without looking at who ordered what. You get different sushi than what you ordered. An employee pokes around in the sushi with chopsticks to identify what kind of sushi is on the plate. After the first bite, my niece says it tastes kind of weird. When I then said that we wouldn't eat it and would leave now, the employee wanted to discuss it. I conveyed to her (especially because I have 30 years of experience in the catering industry myself) that we were patient enough and that I just wanted to leave now and not have anything explained to me anymore. In the end I am insulted as being disrespectful, especially since I have my two nieces and my daughter (2 years old) with me. So people, don't throw your money away, don't go there. We then drove straight to MYsun on Kantstrasse. Much much better.

Very exemplary, Optimal food and everything is taken care of. Friendliness and speed can be found here. Congratulations to the owner for such a perfect store.

You have very bad driver. They endanger traffic

Food was really good. Prices are reasonable (lunch offers). Music playlist is pleasant. Service is awesome. Personell is friendly.

We ordered from Sushi-Goku for the first time over the weekend. The beef bao bun and tataki were absolutely inedible. Aside from not being cooked properly medium rare, the meat was very stringy and tough, which shouldn't be the case with these types of dishes. We were expecting a tender fillet of beef and instead got pieces of meat with tendons and muscles in it Unfortunately we threw away €25 worth of food because it was inedible and inedible. We also contacted the Sushi Goku team by email and even after 3/4 days we didn't get any response, which is why this recession is happening on Google. That was the first and last time we order or eat food there.

You can only pay with cash atm! I went there with NeoTaste coupon to get 2 Baos: Karaage & Salmon. Both were SO GOOD. I’ve never tried authentic bao, so I can’t say anything about its authenticity. The baos were freshly made, the karaage was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the salmon was thick and fresh. The amount of sauce in every bao is just perfect, they didn’t overpower the flavor of the karaage/salmon itself. The waitress was also very nice, she always smiled when she talked to the customer and was also friendly. Very very plus point: extremely clean toilet

Low sushi quality. I saw many good reviews and believed that it was a good place. Service was very slow, they gave us dirty dishes and with water from the washing machine. I didn’t like the quality and taste of the fish, didn’t look fresh at all. And to conclude the prices are very high for the low quality they offer.

It feels like we've been to every sushi shop in Berlin, but I've never eaten such delicious sushi in my life. The price-performance ratio is also top and really highly recommended.

The food was very tasty, but there were some items on the menu at this location that were not available (e.g. hot dishes other than fried foods and burgers) The shop is nice but right next to the train station

Ich könnte wirklich ins Detail gehen und viel erzählen, aber interessiert die Inhaber sowieso nicht. Daher kurz: auch wenn das Essen etwas teuer ist als Durchschnitt, sind die Speisen wirklich lecker. Daher für das Essen auch 5 Sterne. Service: Katastrophe und Punkt!

Sushi Goku is definitely one of my top choices for enjoying sushi. The flavors are not overly fishy, and the freshness is exceptional. While the portion size is decent, what I particularly adore are their delightful bowls.

Zum Essen ist nix negatives zu berichten, außer dass diverse Menüs nicht bestellbar waren. Dass eine Heizung im Winter “kaputt“ ist und man somit gezwungen ist, mit Winterjacke im Restaurant sein Essen zu verzehren, ist schon sehr ärgerlich und für ein Restaurant nicht zumutbar. Aber viel schlimmer ist das der Lieferant bei laufenden Betrieb am Nachmittag durch den Haupteingang liefert und die Tür deshalb Minuten lang auf steht und somit noch mehr Kälte in den Laden reinzieht. Es wirkt alles sehr improvisiert und nicht professionell durchdacht. Schade denn die Sushi hat definitiv hohes Potenzial.

Leckeres und frisches Essen. Leider mit der zeit sehr nachgelassen, früher wurden die Soßen im Glas behälter mitgegeben (to go). Das Personal / service manchmal nicht so dolle. Teils Unfreundlich, es wird nicht auf die coole Aktion mit der Stempelkarte aufmerksam gemacht. Vor Ort warten wir länger als wie wenn wir es telefonisch bestellen und abholen. Das kichern und private laute Gespräche hinter der Theke machen einen unseriösen Eindruck. Wir essen gerne und öfter bei Sushi Goku allerdings wird bei fast jeder Bestellung etwas vergessen. Sei es eine kleine bitte wie "Ohne Wasabi" oder ein extra belag. Mit Hoffnung auf Verbesserung trotzdem empfehlenswert👍

Für jeden Sushi Liebhaber ein muss, sehr lecker und das Ambiente ist fantastisch.

Das Essen war echt voll gut und extrem teuer. Besonders der Taco auf sushi Art war mega. Auch wie der Laden mühevoll dekoriert ist und die dragonball Bilder an der Wand. Nur leider war die Musik dort echt schrecklich. Es war für mich eine rausschmeißer Musik und irgendwie hab ich mich auch darurch sehr ubwoh gefühlt (asirap). Hat hat überhaupt nichts in den Läden gepasst. Ich empfehle euch dragonball Musik zu spielen.

Kann nur sagen dass es allemal besser geht. Die Jungen Leute die in den Sushi Läden arbeiten. Sind mir etwas zu gechillt. Quatschen und lassen einen erstmal warten... Vorallem in der Haupstr. In Schöneberg sind die Mitarbeiter sehr lahm. Sushi ist aber Gut. Die Sauer Scharf Suppe ist sehr lecker.

I love this place i have enjoy with friend

I was craving for Japanese food after running the Berlin marathon and Sushi Goku was the perfect spot. The food was amazing, we ordered a salmon bowl, chirashi and taco sushi. Everything was super tasty, the sauce on top of the two bowls is full of flavors and brings a lot to the fish. It was the first time I tried the taco sushi after seeing it in many places and I highly recommend. The crunchy of the the taco shell is perfect with the tuna and rice. Sushi goku will be our go to during our stay in Berlin.

Kellner unsympathisch und haben einen ignoriert, essen nur teilweise geschmeckt, die Arbeiter waren zu laut,schöne Einrichtung aber mit so einem Service gehe ich nicht noch ein mal dahin

Sushi auf Imbissstandard, trockenes - schlechtes Wasabi, aus dem Laden riecht es seltsam, Wasser wird ohne Gläser und bereits offen serviert (Füllt man die Flaschen auf?) … Wer dieses gut findet, hatte noch nie wirklich gutes Sushi. Wir haben nichtmal aufgegessen. Dragonball Z ist eine tolle Idee, aber so will man hier nicht essen… verstehe die guten Bewertungen nicht, in einer Stadt wie Berlin sollte man doch Ahnung haben.

Orders were incorrect. They didn't have warm meals (they had run out). One person had to wait an excessive amount of time before recieving their order (by this time the other people on the table had pretty much finished their food). Apart from another couple, there was no one there. Drinks were small and overpriced.

Dumplings was cold inside and hot outside, probably they microwave them. Sushi ok but nothing special. The people in service not so polite

Essen war lecker :) Das Essen war gut, da kann man nichts gegen sagen, auch wie es Dekorativ angerichtet wurde fand ich sehr hübsch und ansprechend. Der Bubble Tea war auch gut. Leider bemängel ich ein bisschen die Sauberkeit im Laden. Die Tische waren nicht gewischt, die Wände haben es nötig nochmal gestrichen zu werden und überall waren Fliegen. Fliegen an sich finde ich jetzt nicht so schlimm, schließlich wird hier mit rohem Fisch hantiert, was diese ziemlich anlockt. Aber man könnte Fliegenfallen aufstellen und deren Kot mal wegwischen (Am Bildschirm hinter mir war dieser voll damit) Auch in meinem Getränk schwamm eine Fliege Rum sowie der Becher war voller Staub. Schade eigentlich weil das Restaurant macht einen guten Eindruck. Ich denke, wenn sich die Sauberkeit verbessert schaue ich gerne nochmal vorbei. Trotzdem danke für das leckere Essen.

Durch die Bank weg zufrieden... alles was das Herz begehrt inklusive fancy specials .. probiert es aus ..

Etwas abseits vom Potsdamer Platz ist dort dieser schöne kleine Laden im DragonBall Look zu finden . Das Essen ist frisch und schmeckt dementsprechend hervorragend. Wer Fan des Animes ist wird sie Kleinen aber feinen Details lieben. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut und wir werden bei Gelegenheit dort wieder Essen gehen .

Sushi Goku hatte geiles qualitatives sushi in den ersten eröffnungswochen. Für die Lage schien es der Ort zu sein um in der Mittagspause oder am Abend sushi zu essen. Aber es hat sehr abgenommen. Vielleicht war es am Anfang gut um gute Bewertungen und Empfehlungen zu kriegen. Seither hat der Laden erheblich abgenommen. Mir hat das Sushi im Vergleich zu anderen Läden in Berlin nicht geschmeckt. Den Reis konnten wir nicht essen. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.

Super freundliches Team und mega leckeres Essen, auch wenn die meisten Restaurants in Berlin schon schließen. Gerne wieder

Wir waren übers Wochenende in Berlin und haben 2x dort gegessen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, die Bedienung war freundlich aber wir mussten lange warten, bis überhaupt jemand kam. Sonst echt super 👍

The food is good, but you need a lot of time to go there. 15 minutes to get the menu, another 30 to get the order. Not so bad, but for the price, I would expect more.

we ordered food for take-away, and out experience was fine. Decent Sushi, certainly not the most exquisite, but just fine if you need something at any point of the night.

Haben dirt zu Mittag bestellt, haben erstmal eine Ewigkeit gewartet und dann war nichts beschriftet und es wurde nicht alles geliefert. Super unfreundlich am Telefon würde dort nie wieder bestellen, da es einfach überhaupt nicht geschmeckt hat!!

Der Name hat natürlich eingeladen, am Ende aber einfach extrem überteuert und unorganisiert. Mit Dragonball hat es natürlich nichts zu tun, außer das ein paar Bilder an der Wand vor dem Klo hängen. 3,30€ für 0,2l Cola ? Ernsthaft ?

Venendo dall'Italia dove ci sono ottimi ristoranti cino-giapponesi all-you-can-eat a prezzi ragionevoli, è del tutto inaccettabile il costo dei piatti offerti: poveri e di scarsa qualità. Inoltre l'attesa è stata molto prolungata considerando anche il fatto che persone entrate dopo di noi sono state servite prima (come una tavolata di commensali di origine araba come i proprietari del ristorante).

Wir haben uns sehr kurzfristig entschieden, im Goku zu Essen und waren schnell begeistert. Der Spinatsalat und die Cevice, leicht scharf und eine tolle Säure, sind super. Die Bao Bun Burger hatten wir bisher nicht gekannt. Wir haben Hühnchen, Krabbe und Lachs probiert und alle waren ausgezeichnet lecker. Als Abschluss mussten wir noch das frittierte Sushi mit Thunfisch probieren-ebenfalls super. Sehr nette Bedienung. Leider waren wir nur zu Besuch in Berlin, sonst wären wir jetzt Stammkunden, Danke.

Ich persönlich kann nur vom Laden abraten. Zur Eröffnung war es sehr angenehm zu besuchen, bedauerlicherweise war dies aber kein Dauerzustand. Mittlerweile gehen nur noch ausschließlich irgendwelche Rambos durch die Türe, welche meinen ihnen gehörte die Welt. Deutschrap Musik gehört nicht in ein Sushi Restaurant. Das letzte mal war ich mit meiner Freundin da. Abstoßend wie sehr sie von den Liefer - Mitarbeitern angestarrt wurde, und fast schön belästigt wurde. Schade, was aus dem Laden geworden ist… Hätte mir definitiv anderes gewünscht, eben auch Promotion über TikTok oder weiteres wird es nicht besser machen. Ganz klar, Finger weg!

Everything was fine. Weird atmosphere and strange customer base. But overall a decent place to eat. Price is reasonable.

Sushi is so fresh, and taste good. Like the miso soup with Salmon inside too. Beside the access to the restaurant is quiet easy.

Die bao bin Burger, sowieso die Sushi waren sehr lecker. Sehr angenehme Location Sushi Goku, mein Lieblings laden geworden.
