We've eaten there several times, and the sushi and everything else was always very good. My wife ordered the set menu this time. When she had chosen her dessert from five different options, she was told 15 minutes after ordering that they were out of chocolate cake. Then she chose something else. Another five minutes later, she was told that they weren't available either. When I asked what dessert they had, the young man had to go back to the kitchen and ask. The answer was that they only had churros. By then, we were tired of ordering anything else. And then the bill came, which included the full menu, and only after I complained was a portion of the menu price deducted. As I said, we've been there several times and have always been very satisfied, but this time we didn't like it at all.

A really nice place, we used to come here a lot for vegan all you can eat. Unfortunately it is getting more and more expensive each year :< the vegan sushi is really good, beautifully presented

For comparison, I got some food from this "Sushi for Hamburg" branch. I noticed that there are some differences between the branches – both in the packaging and in the preparation. The portions here are a bit smaller than, for example, at the Hamburg-Wandsbek branch, where the sushi also looks more visually appealing. While the food looks good here too, I still like the Wandsbek branch a bit better overall. Unfortunately, there was a slight smell of warm plastic in the bag and on the sushi, which was probably due to the packaging. The portions of the dips are also a bit smaller than usual. The server was friendly, but seemed a bit shy and uncommunicative, and when I asked, she couldn't tell me exactly what the yakitori sauce was. Despite these small differences, "Sushi for Hamburg" remains a good and recommendable chain overall.

A great, clean restaurant with great food and friendly staff

Great food, but unfortunately unfriendly service. The sushi here is really fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, on our last visit, we already had the feeling they were trying to get rid of us as quickly as possible. Today, we weren't even allowed in, claiming the table was reserved, even though no one was sitting there and the guests had just left. It seemed like they just didn't want any new customers so close to closing time. It's a shame, because with a little more hospitality, this could be our favorite sushi place. PS: We were warmly welcomed by the restaurant across the street, and the food there is also excellent.

Service is very good. Parking is scarce. Very poor. Sushi is absolutely decent. Overall, not world-class, but good. We'll be back!

Yesterday, I ordered a Dragon Box at the sushi restaurant in Hamburg-Bergedorf. It usually contains ginger and wasabi. This time, however, the box was poorly presented, with no ginger or wasabi. Since I really enjoy wasabi, I asked two employees at the bar for it and paid extra for it. When I got home, I unfortunately discovered that there was neither ginger nor wasabi in my box. I then called the restaurant and reached the manager. As compensation, he offered me a €10 voucher for my next order and took my phone number and email address. Unfortunately, I still haven't received a voucher to this day, two days later. The service has noticeably declined. I've always enjoyed eating there, but I don't want to be ripped off. It's a shame.

For me, this is currently the best sushi in Bergedorf. I ordered for pickup, which saves 30%. The service was super friendly, and the shop looks cozy, very clean, and inviting. Therefore, I have to immediately upgrade my original review from years ago. Please keep up the good work.

So, I'm a big fan. The food is always GREAT! BUT we ordered for pickup today and were told it would be ready in 45 minutes. Then we arrived and were repeatedly told to wait another 10 minutes. In between, they said the slip had been misplaced and the order was lying around somewhere. In the end, they had to redo everything, and we waited another 45 minutes there (twice the time). I would have been happy if they had at least offered us a Coke or water as an apology. Unfortunately, that's not good service for me. It's a real shame because I've always been satisfied.

Not bad sushi, but somehow the flavor wasn't particularly intense the two times we were there. The rice wasn't either (no sourness, rather soft). Friendly staff!

I went there with a friend today, but unfortunately, I'm no longer satisfied. The service is very slow and it takes a long time to order (there are three tables occupied). All the sushi tastes the same. I was shocked by the bill for two people, which came to almost €80. One all-you-can-eat meal, one eight-piece sushi, one spring roll, one bottle of spirits, two non-alcoholic beers, and two scoops of ice cream... I don't think that adds up. Well, unfortunately, I can't recommend it anymore. I will be avoiding the place from now on.

All you can eat with sushi is a dangerous plan and can quickly backfire. For a grown man, 5-6 rolls are no problem with an all you can eat plan. Sushi for Hamburg has recognized this well and simply puts a lot of compressed rice into the roll. I'll say...for the price they charge, that's ok too. However, the taste quality naturally suffers because you already have a lot of rice in your mouth and the delicious fillings can hardly be tasted anymore. Otherwise everything was delicious, good selection and varied. The service is always attentive and responsive. Nice and clean and tidy. We tried to order take away from this restaurant twice and they were both horrible experiences. The pieces are way to big and the fish tastes really bad. It tastes spoiled or like plastic. If you're lucky, one or two pieces will taste fine (not good, but fine). We always paid more than 50€ to put everything in the trash. No quality at all! I do not recommend!

The sushi was very tasty, but the atmosphere was rather negative as the music was playing loudly and it was therefore difficult to have a conversation. In addition, the music didn't fit the store at all, you had the feeling of being in a hip-hop club. Waiter smelled of sweat.

Disappointing experience - Not recommended! We have been to this sushi restaurant many times and have eaten there regularly and also spent good money. Unfortunately, our last visit was a bitter disappointment. Even though we had reserved for 3 people, they wanted to squeeze us into a tiny table for 2 people - absolutely incomprehensible how we could eat there comfortably. Additionally, we weren't even greeted by one of the staff members, which made us feel unwelcome. After all the visits we definitely expected more. Unfortunately, we will look for an alternative in the future.

DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED! Ordered mixed sushi platter to pick up. Everything is completely tasteless. Unfortunately the fish wasn't fresh, it smelled strange. The salmon rancid. Tuna brownish. Avocado mushy. The seaweed leaves shimmered slightly brownish, rice was mushy, wasabi was too little and not spicy, no soy sauce (must be ordered separately). The wasabi mayonnaise also doesn't go well with the sushi at all. Never again!!! It's a shame, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The last time I ordered here was 1.5 years ago and everything was fine.

Since we live close by, we often get boxes to take away. The 30% pickup discount is very accommodating. The general performance/price ratio is very good. Regardless of their composition, I always found the serving and counter staff to be attentive, friendly, polite and courteous. The fact that the restaurant is usually always full in the evenings and everyone present is in a good mood speaks for itself. We would love to order here again!

You only have to reorder a number twice instead of as many as you want. The entire store is super nice and mostly very empty. Every now and then suppliers come in because people probably like to order there. Otherwise it is quiet and pleasant there. The ambience is super nice and the service is good. Because there are fewer people, the waiters aren't under as much pressure and are all super friendly and helpful. The all you can eat menu is unbelievable in terms of price/performance ratio. The presentation and taste are really great too. Absolute recommendation to everyone

I always get sushi to take away here. A 30% self-collection discount is unbeatable. The menu offers a variety of variations. I find the selection very diverse. The ingredients are very fresh and taste great. The quality was always good with every order. The Madrid roll with the flambéed salmon is my top recommendation. The ratio to price to performance is very good. That's a fair price for the quality. The restaurant has a pleasant and calm ambience.

The sushi is super tasty and fresh, but unfortunately the new "all you can eat" rule has absolutely nothing to do with all you can eat when you can only choose a total of 3 numbers and only reorder one number twice. That's way too many restrictions! In addition, there are only soy sauces freely available, the others have to be ordered every time, or, for example, peanut sauce is no longer available as a dip.

I usually rarely write reviews and have been a regular at Sushi for Hamburg for a long time, but today we were really unlucky with our order... The rice was completely overcooked and felt like it didn't taste like anything - the salmon was very watery - and the unagi maki was rather small. The tuna maki was still ok apart from the rice. The only plus point today - delivered within 15 minutes.

Everything was actually good in this restaurant, except very rude service staff. They definitely need to check better their serving staff’s behaviours towards customers.

The sushi I ordered online was ready for pickup straight away. Also 10 minutes earlier. The employee asked if I would like any more chopsticks or lucky cookies. I took 2 pieces with me. Then he asked if I wanted soy sauce, which wasn't included in the order. Costs €1.99. I found that very strange. I've NEVER had to pay extra for soy sauce, and that's for sushi worth €50. There is a big star deduction for this. The sushi tasted very good, even with the sauce we had at home. There was enough wasabi in the portion.

I have been a customer for years and have observed the development of the restaurant, the menu and the prices. The ambience and furnishings are really chic and cozy, the staff are friendly, cheerful and committed. The prices adjust and are okay, but all you can eat can no longer be called that. After the starter plate, you can now only reorder a maximum of 2 times and only make 1 selection from the menu at a time. A year ago this limit didn't exist and 2 years ago you could choose 3 numbers per reorder. The amount of rice per piece is increasing to keep customers full, but the pieces barely fit in the mouth. I hope this develops in a different direction soon.

You should bring some time with you when you get there or order in advance. Otherwise you have to expect a waiting time. If you pick up your order you get a 30% discount and if you choose the delivery service you get a 10% discount. You can include that in the driver’s tips 😉

Waiting for hours when picking up: Ordered at 6:00 p.m The sushi shop was given a pick-up time of 7:45 p.m 7:45 p.m. means waiting ten minutes. Then asked every 10 minutes. The poor man behind the counter was helpless. Couldn't give an estimate or anything. I left annoyed at 9 p.m. Never again!!!

The food would be delivered quickly and completely. The sushi box was fresh and very tasty. We particularly liked the sufficient amount of dips!

The reason for my visit was my birthday. I had reserved a table for eight people. We were warmly welcomed and looked after attentively. To start we got a really great platter with our selection of sushi. The food looked incredibly appealing and tasted great. The service was good and fulfilled all of our drink requests and sushi orders very quickly. I can absolutely recommend a visit to “Sushi in Bergedorf”! We would like to come again!

We reserved a table at short notice and were able to eat for 1.5 hours. Even on the phone the staff were very helpful. The welcome was very warm, so you could immediately feel at home. The sushi was very good and we were full quickly despite AYCE. The sushi was served very attractively on the plates. Price/performance is definitely appropriate. The atmosphere was also very cozy. Will definitely come back when we are in HH. We would also like to have a restaurant like this in Frankfurt/Main 😉

Ambience ok. Service rather dismissive, perhaps simply massively overwhelmed, which doesn't help the guest either. I can't say anything about the food, I've been waiting for it for what feels like ages. Even the second drink ordered after the first didn't come for over 15 minutes. Total failure, definitely never coming back.

Ich war heute dort und bin immer noch absolut begeistert. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und das Menü, sehr preiswert (26,90€ für eine Vorspeise, drei Hauptgerichte und einen Nachtisch finde ich absolut in Ordnung). Das Ambiente war sehr schön, es ist zwar ein kleines Restaurant, aber dafür sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienung war auch super freundlich und angenehm, mit Humor und Menschlichkeit versehen und hat den Besuch abgerundet. Ich würde immer wieder hingehen!

Das Sushi hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Das Ambiente, die Möbel, der Einrichtungsstil super! Kollege, der uns bewirtet hat, war wirklich super nett. Was vom “all you can eat“ übrig blieb, ging mit nach Hause.....wir haben uns darüber riesig gefreut! Wir kommen mit Gewissheit nochmals. Verlängerte Wartezeilt, weil viel zu tun war, wurde mit Flülingslollen überbrückt....einfach nett

Wir waren heute mal wieder sushi essen, dieses mal in Sushi für Hamburg. Erster Eindruck sehr gepflegte kleiner (ca.30 bis 40 Gäste )Restaurant . Wir wurden herzlich empfangen dadurch füllten wir uns schon woll. Die Bestellung war unkompliziert durch Freundliche Beratung, nach kurze Wartezeit wurden wir mit verschieden Geschmackexplosionen belohnt. Manche Stückchen sind nicht jeder man Sache ,aber wir haben was Neues ausprobiert. Fazit wir werden bestimmt öfter dahin gehen uns schmeckt es einfach. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

1. Besuch 2 Sterne 2. Besuch 5 Sterne! All you can eat: Die Wartezeit auf Bestellungsaufnahme und das Erhalten des Essens war untragbar. Wir haben erst nach 70Minuten!!! unsere erste Bestellung erhalten. Eine direkte Nachbestellung war nicht möglich, die zweite Bestellung musste sogar kleiner sein. Somit hat es weitere 35 Minuten nach Bestellung gedauert, bis wir den zweiten Teller bekommen haben. Insgesamt haben wir somit in 3 vollen Stunden drei Bestellungen bekommen. Dann machte die Küche zu und wie waren noch nicht voll satt. Das war leider hörbar an jedem anderen Tisch das Gesprächsthema Nr. 1. Unter einem AllYouCanEat versteh ich nicht, dass man nicht satt nach Hause fährt und mindestens 3 Stunden Zeit mitnehmen muss. Das Sushi ist jedoch lecker und empfehlenswert. Es ist ja kein Problem und nachvollziehbar, wenn die Küche oder das Personal Freitagabend überlastet ist, aber ich würde mit dann mindestens einen entsprechenden Hinweis bei Ankunft wünschen, damit ich weiß ob und auf was ich mich einlasse. Den gab es nicht, somit kamen immer mehr Gäste, die warten mussten. Edit: Wir haben SfH noch einmal unter der Woche besucht, nachdem uns der Besitzer einen Gutschein angeboten hatte, um zu zeigen, dass der oben genannte Zustand kein allgemeiner ist. Kurz: Wir haben diesmal das Restaurant rundum glücklich und zufrieden verlassen. Die oben genannten negativen Punkte haben sich an diesem Tag nicht ansatzweise wiederfinden lassen und das Shushi war sehr verdammt lecker. :)

Ein bisschen Wartezeit mitbringen, sber es lohnt sich. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und auch das Menü ist immet eine gute Wahl.

Sushi Restaurant mit Lieferservice in Hamburg Bergedorf. Die Sushirollen sind sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Zu empfehlen ist das All you eat Angebot. Hier kann man drei Rollen preiswert bestellen. Der Service ist nett und das Ambiente in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben schon öfter liefern lassen, aber heute waren wir mal spontan vor Ort. Nettes Personal und sehr leckeres Sushi. Leider sind aber kaum Parkplätze vor Ort. Wir werden jedoch wiederkommen.
