A genuine German snack bar with many years of experience. I think I first visited here in 1992, and I've never been disappointed. Excellent value for money, a delicious selection of typical snacks, and a good salad buffet. Highly recommended.

I haven't been here in over a year. Renovated and under new ownership(?). I only had something simple: fries and a fried roll. Delicious. The fries have been great at other times... today they were great. 👍 I'm in favor of deleting old reviews from 3 to 8 years ago. I was very satisfied, the staff was really nice. (It used to be different.) And if something isn't right, you can always speak up politely. I'll be back again to try the burgers. Best regards 🍀

Super delicious Jägerschnutzel at a great price. The Jäger sauce tastes great and isn't the run-of-the-mill stuff you'd find in most shops. Highly recommended.

Once and never again. I ordered a schnitzel with fries. I was asked if I wanted ketchup with the fries. I was given a plate with a schnitzel and fries, the fries drenched in hot curry sauce. Sorry, that's not acceptable. Overall, the Sun Grill doesn't make a good impression. The service leaves a lot to be desired; they don't say a word more than necessary. The atmosphere feels like it's from the early 90s.

You can't really say it's bad. It's just a snack bar. Not fine dining. Everything is clean and well-run.

This isn't the Sun Grill I knew. Poor quality. Western burgers with a small patty and a large bun. Unfriendly, stressed service. I don't need to go there anymore.

Yes, at some point you return to what you know, even if it's not necessarily on the way. I lived in Zeven over 30 years ago and still have fond memories of the Sun Grill. It's been renovated now, but the food is still the same as it used to be. I'll be back, no question.

12.50€ for: - a gyro burger whose bread was cold and dry :- a portion of French fries, neutral in taste :- a small glass of cola (which was the only thing that tasted good) Price/performance disappointing. Ambiance and cleanliness was great.

I had schnitzel with fries and my girlfriend had a cheeseburger and we can easily say that I haven't tasted this good in a long time, the schnitzel is simply perfect, the fries are really tasty and the cheeseburger is also awesome, 5/5 simply very recommendable

I was hungry after school and just wanted to eat something quickly, so I went to eat here because it was an option and I can only say good things, the schnitzel tastes great and very juicy! The Morzarella sticks also taste very good and the cheese spreads really well. The chicken burger is also very juicy with a lot of sauce. The waitress is also very nice and smiles at you straight away. All in all, the store is great and highly recommended!

Always very open and friendly staff. The frikandel special are absolutely delicious. One star deducted because the food is not brought to the table and the last two times (in the summer) the food was no longer really warm because the plates were stored too cold. Improved significantly last time. Bring food to the table and then there will be 5 stars :)

Good food, but the toilets smell very acrid

The employees are extremely friendly, I was there shortly before closing time and I was still served very courteously. Big compliments to the two ladies who served me. There is only one answer to food 👍👍👌👌 Super delicious

A nice snack. Service is mostly friendly and quick. I can recommend the hunter sauce. Salad bar well stocked. There is a star deduction for the slot machines right at the entrance. Addendum... The slot machines are gone. Unfortunately, the delicious hunter's sauce is no longer available.

Ate a burger. The burger cost five euros and something. I got a burger bun with cheese 2 patty two different sauces and that was it. No tomato or lettuce. The bun was cold. I wasn't satisfied!

The Sun Grill is super good. Price performance is right. The staff is super friendly, everything is clean. Even the toilet is clean, not like other local ones. I like to go there again to get good food. Keep it up.

Yesterday I went to Sun for a baguette after a long time. It was so disappointing, the otherwise delicious homemade tartar sauce didn't taste good at all! I could have saved myself the trip.

I visited the Sun Grill in May and can't complain about anything. Solid snack food which is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare these days. The cheeseburger was a classic snack cheeseburger hamburger sauce, pickles, fried onions, processed cheese as it should be. My fries were hot and crispy and I thought it was great that I could get them special. A small star deduction: The portion of fries could have been a little larger for me and then just a euro or two more expensive, but I can already hear the outcry from others.

Never again!!! Sauces for baguettes no longer taste good, the display doesn't look particularly inviting, the staff was unfriendly and had probably never heard anything about hygiene. Too bad

A typical German snack bar. Fries, currywurst, schnitzel, burgers and co. you can get it here. Discovered many years ago. At that time it was by far the best chip shop I knew within a 100km radius and where the price-performance ratio was also right. Everything stayed the same. If you like snack food like this, you're in good hands here 😇

First of all: I have nothing to complain about the taste. - There is a star deduction because it is a bit of a gamble as to whether you get a reasonable schnitzel or a small children's schnitzel - I'm deducting another star because it's another gamble as to whether you get anything at all. (I've often found myself standing in front of a locked door, even though it was supposed to be open during opening hours.) Update on July 5th, 2024: They have now got the two points of criticism mentioned above under control. I still deduct a star because they have a new sauce for the Jägerschnitzel. It tastes good, but the old sauce tasted better. And more importantly, I tolerated the old sauce well. With the new sauce, I'm not allowed to stray too far from the toilets afterwards. (Lactose warning would have been nice)

Sun Grill, a snack bar that focuses on the essentials, simple and good. I have enjoyed eating there since I was a child.

Food wasn't my thing. Pre-made pattis! Classic snack, as I know it from my childhood (~45 years old). Everything is still pretty unhealthy here. But if you like it, clean, nice, warm.

Had schnitzel with hunter's sauce and fries. The schnitzel was made in the deep fryer, it was greasy and therefore very hard and I couldn't eat it. Fries were soggy and still raw. My husband had Giros with fries and coleslaw. The same Giros was not chopped fries, it was also labrig and still raw. The staff wasn't very friendly either. They didn't even ask why the plates were returned half full. So never again

The furnishings are a bit old-fashioned, the staff can be a bit pathetic every now and then. The hamburgers were also better topped, last time there were exactly two slices of cucumber per burger 🍔 apart from onions. There are no parking spaces for bicycles.

Unfriendly staff! TODAY 5.05.24 I bought two double hamburgers today, the quality has deteriorated terribly, there were two slices of cucumber in the burger 🍔 🍔 🍔 It's a shame. The buns weren't even lukewarm.

We were impressed by the friendly staff, who didn't lose their good mood despite the huge crowd. The children and I enjoyed it and we would love to come back!

What happened here? I've been eating here regularly for years when I travel through Zeven on business. It seems there are new operators and they apparently haven't heard anything about service and friendliness. Two older, lazy ladies who didn't really enjoy having to work. Food on display looks rotten, glasses dirty, everything much dingier than the last time we visited six months ago. It's a real shame that it's suddenly no longer really fun to come here. Was always my first port of call in the area. Incomprehensible!

Has worn off quite a bit. The staff doesn't seem very enthusiastic about their job. Food is typical snack bar. Fries are a gamble either burnt or raw. The atmosphere seems cold and old. If you want to sit outside, sit right on the main street.

I went there again yesterday after a visit to the doctor - if you sit relatively close to the front, you'll notice more of the preparation than you want. Hygiene in the catering industry should actually not be a foreign word. But first collect money with your bare hands and then touch the sausages etc. with the same hands in order to throw them into the fat? Disgusting behavior. Glasses are run through a glass washer once or twice (I can't say whether with or without a cleaner) and then rinsed with clear water, which is an absolute NO GO these days with all the risks of infection! Even using a highly concentrated cleaner while the counter display is still open (meat, sausages, hamburger patties, etc.) is "very appetizing"... spray mist also falls on open food. It's surprising that there was so much going on there... Every kebab snack bar is more hygienic! And we come from the catering industry! About food: If I/we order or pay for a large currywurst with large fries "AND don't take the fake offer (curry pom/drink)" we also want large fries! I advise everyone not to take plated meals, as you will be punished by the quantity. All in all, this snack bar has become even worse than before after it was handed over to a new owner. It's a shame - there aren't many "good" snack bars anymore, but there's definitely one less in Zeven!

If you like quick food and it's cheaper than MC... you're well served. Nice service and normal atmosphere. (Ketchup is not curry ketchup).

Service cannot be surpassed in terms of unfriendliness, completely overwhelmed, no smile, no thank you, and always this WAAAASSS… I think that was the boss. 50ct extra for a mini portion of ketchup, 12€ for this incredibly bad Hawaiian schnitzel, + extra ketchup, I couldn't get the schnitzel down.

Halt ein Imbiss wie jeder andere auch

Waren am Dienstagmittag ( Reformationstag) dort. Es war sehr voll und einiges ausser Haus. Das Personal war trotz allem sehr nett und wir hatten unser Essen sehr zügig. Geschmacklich immer sehr gut.

War schon mal besser. Kleine Portion, 3. Wahl Pommes und teuer geworden. Hatte ich besser in Erinnerung. Ich glaube, das war mein letzter Besuch dort.

War nach Jahren mal wieder beim Sun Grill in Zeven und war positiv überrascht. Das Restaurant war sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen war recht schnell fertig. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Habe heute eine Bratwurst, Frikadelle mit Pommes gegessen, dazu was getrunken. Mir hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Toilette war sehr sauber. Zwei sehr freundliche Damen hinterm Tresen. Wohne zwar jetzt in Hamburg, aber als gebürtiger Zevener, habe ich hier schon öfter gegessen, hatte nie was zu beanstanden. Freundlichkeit und Essen immer gut.

Nettes fleißiges Personal. Ich habe einen großen Cheesburger gegessen mit Pommes. Die Burger Frikadellen sind leider irgend so ne vorgefertigte Tiefkühlwahre .Leider nicht selbst gemacht. Nein das Essen war nicht gut

Ich war dort mit einer Freundin essen . Hähnchen vom Grill und Pommes . Es war alles gut und Preis/Leistung sind gut .

Ich kenne diesen Imbiss Sun Grill schon sehr lange. Mir hat es schon immer hier geschmeckt und ich kann den Imbiss sehr empfehlen.

Extrem gute Pommes Mayo. Volle Punktzahl von mir. Dazu freundlich und schnell. Alles bestens zum Mitnehmen. Sehr gerne wieder. - Die Qualität ist leider abhängig von der Tagesform. Wenn man in Stoßzeiten besucht, dann diese leider schonmal leiden.

Schade das die Wochenenden so eingekürzt wurden bezüglich der Öffnungszeiten

Für einen Imbiss, mehr als Spitze. Lecker und gut, gern wieder. Wobei für einen Imbiss wirklich mega Auswahl.

Bei den Pommes sind viele kleine Bruchpommes bei und der Curryketchup ist mega süss. Die Currywurst selber zwar lang aber nicht viel dicker als ein Daumen. Frische Salatbar super.

Sehr lecker... Man findet nicht mehr soviel gute Imbissrestaurants....
