For my sister's engagement party, we used the event location on the upper floor of the Sultan restaurant. Even in the run-up to the event, Mr. Ibrahim was at our side at all times and, together with his team, made all of our wishes and ideas possible. Thanks to their outstanding organization and support, everything went smoothly. We would particularly like to emphasize the possibility of starting decoration the day before. The entire team was extremely helpful and supported us actively, so that we were able to make all the preparations stress-free and in a pleasant atmosphere. On the day of the celebration we were looked after by the waiters Hakan and Uygar, who impressed all the guests with their professionalism, friendliness and willingness to help. The food was of the highest quality and left nothing to be desired. Every single guest was completely satisfied and happy. Based on these consistently positive experiences, we can warmly recommend the Sultan restaurant for private parties, be it for birthdays, engagements or weddings. Sultan is a very good place for those of us who have been away from Turkish flavors for a long time. We chose from the Sultan Mixed Meat Menu for two. It was very satisfying. My only negative comment is that the ayran could have been more delicious.

The breakfast buffet is presented significantly differently on the internet than it is served. During the entire time it was almost impossible to order drinks because the service staff were virtually unavailable.

Unfortunately we didn't succeed at first price 15€ per person we had breakfast, my wife and 2 children 9 and 12 years old I called the staff for payment and it was no longer 15€ but strangely 20€ per person 🤔🤔 And even worse, I found the hair in it and it wasn't small 🤮 €80 for something like that

We were there for the first time for the breakfast buffet and were unfortunately very disappointed 😞 We knew about the buffet offer in Alsdorf and were actually happy that the offer was now also available in Übach. In my opinion the selection is better in Alsdorf. Above all, it is clearly laid out and you know what you are eating. Various baked goods were mixed together there, where you didn't know exactly what filling to expect. Rolls seemed to be exclusively baked goods. In Alsdorf the range of rolls and croissants was significantly better. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs were no longer warm despite the containers. Some of the fruit was no longer beautiful, many grapes were brown, etc Music was very loud, so talking at the table was difficult. It's a shame ☹️ we would have liked to come more often, but the offer didn't convince us

I didn't expect to go to Übach and encounter such a Turkish restaurant. As someone who is bored with the classic döner kebab style, Sultan restaurant is very good with its rich menu and delicious food! There are hot appetizers, pastes, main menus, whatever you want. As soon as you enter, that atmosphere surrounds you and you feel like you are in Türkiye. Everyone was smiling, but Mr. Hakan took care of us, and we were very pleased with him. It also has breakfast, I definitely recommend it.

Very bad treatment of customers. The waiter is very unsympathetic. A dish is completely changed within 1 month. Beyti changes from month to month!!

I have never received such an unfriendly welcome in a restaurant as in the Sultan. We wanted to look around where we could sit, and less than a minute later the waiter (probably the head waiter) came up to us and asked us what we were thinking as we walked through the “empty” restaurant. Irritated and aggressive for no reason, he also offered us a table where we should sit down immediately. In addition, we had a 2 year old toddler with us. He then rudely asked us if we were really here to eat!? Friendliness doesn't cost anything, the food we ate there does. We were outside again within 2 minutes. It seems like this restaurant doesn't need new customers. Unfriendly and aggressive behavior from the head waiter for no reason.

I'm really disappointed with the food, I ordered 4 grill plates to pick up today. The meat was burnt and dry, as were the peppers (see picture), and the flatbread was dry as dust (I think it was from the day before). The fries weren't cooked through, and unfortunately a lot of them had to be thrown away. I have often ordered from there and always received the grill plate in a large aluminum box and this time only in a small cardboard box. Will avoid the store, order value was more than 100 euros. SAD HOW YOU HAVE TO SAVE ON FOOD!!!

Unfortunately one star is too many, it was a catastrophic evening. We were there with a large group and made a reservation for 6 p.m. The drinks came quickly, but we were completely ignored afterwards. We asked several times if we could order food. Since it is currently Ramadan, we were put off by the fact that other guests (who came to the restaurant after us) got food before us because they had fasted all day. Of course we understand this and respect religious festivals, but the restaurant should not have accepted our reservation in that case. When about two hours after our table reservation (around 8 p.m.) there was still no food and the waiter loudly made it clear to us that we had to be understanding about waiting so long, we left the restaurant.

We are frequent guests. The dishes are always freshly prepared and tasty and served quickly. The service is very nice.

Were there with a larger group. The food was good and plentiful. Due to the large number of guests, the service was a bit lacking, but the employees were still very friendly. But it was incredibly loud in there. You had to shout at each other to be able to hear each other while having a conversation. So it's not suitable for having breakfast there in peace and comfort.

Were here for the first time today. The restaurant is quite big. Unfortunately the parking lot is a bit small. The music in our area was too loud for us and was turned down at our request. Very good! A little more space would have been nice, as everyone had to get up if they wanted to leave the table. But otherwise everything is okay. The entire service was very nice. Everyone put in a lot of effort. At times it seemed a bit chaotic and drinks were forgotten, but it was also quite crowded and everyone had their hands full. The food was good overall. A little salty for my taste, but you can add more salt. The quantity was more than enough for me and the price was reasonable. Suggestion for improvement: The food and drink menu on the internet is not up to date, for example not all drinks are available on the internet. There is also beer and raki here 😉 I can recommend the restaurant.

The space is very large. The division creates small areas. This allows groups to differentiate themselves well from one another. The staff is friendly and tries to serve arriving guests promptly. Ordering drinks and bringing them took some time. A little patience is also recommended when ordering food. The preparation time and serving of the dishes is quick. The food tastes good. The salad is fresh and the dishes are served at an acceptable temperature. The place appears to be clean. If you like to try Turkish cuisine, you're in good hands here.

Went there for breakfast on Saturday with 10 people. We are really disappointed. Toilets are broken and cannot be used. This is absolutely unacceptable. The food is cold, the coffee is lukewarm, the rolls are baked and the staff is very ignorant. The first and last time we were there.

Food was quite OK. Mine was a bit lukewarm that evening. Was at the border. The service was ok. Drinks often only came with the second or third order. A table had probably been ordered by our company beforehand, but nobody knew what was there that evening. Although they tried to please everyone, they were still deducted from the stars.

Sehr schön, modern und trotzdem gemütlich, man hat genügend Privatsphäre am Platz. Wir waren jetzt schon öfter da und die Gerichte waren jedesmal gleichbleibend gut und sehr lecker. Sehr große Auswahl, für mich dürfte es gerne etwas weniger sein. Vorne an der Theke gibt es noch eine große Auswahl an Baklava. Leider noch nicht probiert, aber sie sehen schon sehr lecker aus.

Essen war sehr abwechslungsreich; da es sich um Test-Frühstücksbuffet handelte, war man genötigt zu improvisieren. Dennoch war der Service akzeptabel und das Personal freundlich und bemüht.

Wir waren heute am heiligen Abend dort essen. Es war wirklich sehr lecker, der Service mehr als freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufgesetzt zu wirken. Wir sind wirklich restlos zufrieden und werden ab jetzt sicher noch viele Male dorthin gehen. Absolut empfehlenswert

Wir hatten dort unser Jahresabschlussessen und waren begeistert vom Ambiente. Es ist modern eingerichtet und eine helle Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung war freundlich und fit in ihrer Arbeit. Allzu langes warten war nicht angesagt. Was wir auch schön fanden, war die Kinderfreundlichkeit. Das Essen, ist laut Karte, die hauptsächlich türkische Küche anbietet, vielfältig und vom Geschmack her, war unsere Gruppe auch sehr begeistert. Ob Lamm, Rind, Huhn, alles was vom Holzkohlegrill kam war Klasse. Preise sind angenehm. Unterm Strich...........wir waren rundum zufrieden und geben 5*+ ! Das Restaurant "Sultan" ist zu empfehlen👍🤗

Das vergangene Wochenende waren wir zum Abendessen da. Das Essen war an sich gut, es gab auch eine Vorspeise aufs Haus. Für den Service und die Bedienung ist definitiv 1 Stern zu vergeben. Wir haben 20 Minuten gewartet bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, da scheinbar nur ein Kellner oder nur eine Kellnerin die Bestellungen aufnimmt. Ich berichte von diesem und vorletzten Besuch, wo vorgekommen ist, das Getränke vergessen oder Speisen falsch serviert wurden. Bei beiden Besuchen wird deutlich, dass die Kellnerinnen sehr unerfahren sind. Bei einer vernünftigen Einarbeitung der Kellnerinnen wäre dies evtl. nicht zu Stande gekommen. Stattdessen wird mit ihnen geschimpft, wenn Fehler auftreten. Da ist der Sultan in Mariadorf vom Service her deutlich besser.

Wir sind begeistert vom Sultan Restaurant in Übach Palenberg. Durch Zufall besucht und jetzt können wir es nicht mehr weg denken, dort essen zu gehen und eine schöne Zeit dort verbringen. Man wird herzlich begrüßt, die Mitarbeiter*innen sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und versuchen alles das man sich wohl fühlt. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Bis jetzt können wir uns über nichts beschweren. Das Ambiente passt zum Restaurant, da es gemütlich eingerichtet ist. So, heute am 29.11.2023 waren wir wieder mal essen und ich kann meine erste Bewertung was die Freundlichkeit und die Hilfsbereitschaft vom gesamten Personal und das Essen angeht, nur bestätigen. Mal so als Anregung für die Geschäftsleitung Was mir zum wiederholten mal aufgefallen ist sind andere Mängel, die aber leider schon länger bestehen und wo noch nichts geändert wurde. Zum Beispiel das Damen WC, da ist seid dem ersten Besuch von mir der linke Wasserhahn los, die Türgriffe sind locker und wenn man ganz viel Glück hat sind Seife und Handtücher vorhanden(aber meistens halt nicht) . Dann sollte man auch mal nach den Lampen im Restaurant über den Tischen schauen, die flackern oder es sind zum Teil falsche Glühbirnen ( falsche Watt Zahl) in Gebrauch. Und es war auch kühl im Restaurant, ich habe mir meine Jacke über die Beine gelegt da keine Heizung an war.

Frühstücksbuffet am Sonntag mit 4 Personen für 17,90 Euro/Person: Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Gebäude. Im Preis enthalten ist ein Glas Orangensaft, türkischer Tee uns Kaffee soviel man mag. Das Buffet ist reichhaltig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Leider lässt die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen zu wünschen übrig. So war das Rührei glibberig, eigentlich warme Speisen waren nur lauwarm oder kalt und die Brötchen wie Gummi. Beschriftungen der Speisen fehlte. Im Prinzip war alles auf Masse statt Klasse ausgerichtet, was ich sehr schade finde. Kaffee wurde nicht oder nur auf Rückfrage aufgefüllt. Die Location ist modern und sauber eingerichtet. Aufgrund der Größe ist es aber relativ laut dort. Obwohl wir schon einmal dort waren und da schon Defizite bestanden, habe ich mit meiner Bewertung bis jetzt gewartet, um auszuschließen, dass es sich um ein einmaliges Problem handelt. Im Übrigen war an diesem Tag keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

11.2023 Hervorragendes türkisches Essen mit ausgezeichnetem Service Bei unserem spontanen Besuch im Sultan Restaurant in Übach-Palenberg wurden wir sofort positiv überrascht. Wir wurden überaus freundlich empfangen und fanden gleich einen gemütlichen Sitzplatz. Die Einrichtung erinnerte uns angenehm an das Restaurant in Alsdorf – dezent, aber dennoch edel. Das Highlight waren definitiv die türkischen Speisen. Jedes Gericht war nicht nur geschmacklich hervorragend, sondern auch reichlich portioniert. Auch die Säfte waren frisch und lecker. Obwohl es an diesem Tag nicht besonders voll war, beeindruckte uns die Schnelligkeit der Zubereitung – unser Essen war innerhalb von nur 10-15 Minuten fertig. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die fast schon überwältigend war, und die einwandfreie Sauberkeit des Restaurants. Das Sultan Restaurant ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert für alle, die gerne ab und zu ausgezeichnete türkische Küche genießen möchten. 5 Sterne!
