The XXL schnitzel was unfortunately a bit too dry; a little sauce or something would be very helpful. Otherwise, it was excellent.

Prices are reasonable, staff very friendly, would gladly return and recommend.

We had lunch here. The dumplings weren't cheap, but they tasted very good. Service was OK. We'd be happy to come back.

First of all, thank you for getting us a table at short notice. The ambiance looked very cozy, but we didn't like the fact that we were sitting arm in arm with the people at the next table. It was very cramped, and there was no privacy. (Luckily, we had table neighbors of our level.) The food was beautifully presented, but very dry. It wasn't bad, but they should think about the side dishes. With the steak au four, perhaps fresh peas as a side dish would make up for the dry schnitzel. We were also brought the wrong meal, which was replaced as quickly as possible, but the incorrectly ordered meal was still charged. A final drink we ordered wasn't brought either, and the unfinished food was taken away from under our noses twice. This review shouldn't be seen as a criticism, but rather as an improvement. 🙃

We had dinner at the Stubn with our family today to celebrate our wedding anniversary. As always, it was very good value for money. Very tasty food, competent service. Highly recommended, as we have been for many years.

Best schnitzel EVER. Now there's a new version, the Stubn Schnitzel with sweet potatoes, which is truly delicious. The staff is very friendly. I go to the Stubn on Wednesdays every business trip.

Personally, I find it a bit more expensive. But otherwise, everything is great.

We noticed this restaurant this afternoon on our way into town and sat down in the garden. The drinks arrived quickly, as did the food. We chose the lunch special, Kassler Schnitzel with salad and fries. My husband and I really enjoyed it, and the price of €9.90 is perfectly reasonable. The service was friendly. I can't comment on the restaurant's interior, as we sat outside. We would definitely go back if we visit Arnstadt again. Thank you 👍

Located right in the center of Arnstadt, you can almost always find a parking space in the inner courtyard. The beer garden invites you to relax in summer, and when the temperatures are lower you can take a seat in the lovingly designed guest rooms. Very nice and careful service, warm owner and friendly owner. - Always with a smile on your face and a quick saying. 😁 The food??? The dishes are freshly prepared and served hot. Very tasty and very well portioned. Every Wednesday there is a “Schnitzel all you can eat” menu. I'll definitely be back, reserving a table goes without saying.

Food is very good and suitable for family celebrations

We were there at lunchtime. The waitress ignored us until we asked her directly where we could sit down. She hissed at us in a bad mood asking if we hadn't made a reservation. After we were assigned a seat, the cards were handed out and we were immediately asked about the drinks. I urgently ordered a shandy. In retrospect, this was a huge mistake because it was mixed with Almdudler. Not my taste. I would have liked some advice from the waitress here. Luckily I was able to swap drinks with my companion. While we were looking at the large menus, different waitresses asked us three times what we would like to eat. It felt like we should leave quickly. I had the schnitzel gratinated with pulled pork. To save money, the pulled pork was stretched with cabbage; when gratinated, the cabbage juice ran into the schnitzel. So schnitzel with sauerkraut flavor. There wasn't a word about it on the menu. I missed the classic lemon wedge on my plate. The pulled pork was just some leftover meat that fell off in the kitchen, that's how it tasted to me. The schnitzel was large and paper-thin. The breading around it was thicker than the meat, which dries out very quickly in the deep fryer. The fries were very dry and tasteless. Here you can tell that these were already fried. My companion had the menu “a Fuhr Mist”. A small wooden wheelbarrow came filled with fries and on top the meat dishes were served along with a complete pickle. (Schnitzel with pickle? That doesn't explain it to me any more than sauerkraut [and it's not even good] on schnitzel) This wooden frame already showed strong signs of wear in the form of dark discoloration. It doesn't look like it has been properly cleaned after each use. After the meal it was cleared away quickly, but we had to pay attention again to order more or pay. Only after leaving a tip did our initial service become very friendly. Conclusion: Makes the menu smaller and clearer, but it changes seasonally, all schnitzel menus are just warm-up meals. This is not gastronomy. Start cooking again and not just frying. At lunchtime the beer garden was still not ready for use. Employee training for service would be urgently needed. Uniform clothing adapted to the concept of the restaurant would have been more harmonious. It's not enough if the boss stands in the restaurant wearing traditional costume. Throw away the little wooden wheelbarrows. These are bacteria carriers.

Price doesn't match the performance. For additional sauce that was originally not enough, an extra €3 is charged without being informed. And that for a dish for €28!

The two of us went to the café on Sunday for coffee and cake. A highlight in an otherwise pretty but desolate city. The atmosphere is cozy and the boss is super nice with Viennese charm. The cake was a poem. I had the marzipan cake three times. My companion a very successful Kaiserschmarrn. If Arnstadt again, then because of the Stubn. And then also the restaurant. The sauce on the schnitzel is extremely much and after a few minutes the consistency changes extremely, either change and make the sauce extra or less. Burger itself is good, a 3.7/5

We wanted to eat delicious cake today and thought we would try the South Tyrolean Café. The cake was also very tasty, the staff wasn't that nice. There was a chai latte on the board on the wall. I ordered these and expected a chai latte. I got a latte macchiato with chai. When I pointed out that this wasn't a chai latte, I was told that in this coffee the chai latte would be a Macciato with chai. This was also on the menu but not on the board. And I just ordered from this and not from the menu. When I pointed out that the name chai latte on the board was misleading, I was told that the chai latte has been served this way here for eight years. I told her that I have never received coffee when I ordered chai latte. She then told me that was just the way it was here and if we never came back that wouldn't be her problem. It's a shame because the cake was actually very tasty. But I will not visit a restaurant that cannot respond appropriately to criticism again.

Ich war heute mit meiner Schwester und meinem Vater in diesem Südtiroler Stubn Café in der Erfurter Straße. Wir saßen draußen, da Tische bereitgestellt waren, und warteten darauf, dass die Kellnerin unsere Bestellung aufnimmt. Als das nicht passierte, bin ich reingegangen, um zu fragen, ob wir bestellen können. Ihre Antwort war, dass sie draußen keine Bestellungen aufnimmt, weil es angeblich minus zwei Grad seien. Das fand ich nicht nachvollziehbar – wenn es wirklich so kalt wäre, warum stehen dann überhaupt Tische draußen, und warum dürfen Gäste draußen sitzen? Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass ihre Haltung uns gegenüber nicht nur unfreundlich war, sondern auch davon beeinflusst, dass sie uns als Ausländer wahrgenommen hat. Die Kellnerin war jung, blond, hatte blaue Augen, war schlank und machte keinen besonders professionellen Eindruck. Ich bin überzeugt, dass die Situation anders verlaufen wäre, wenn der Chef anwesend gewesen wäre oder wir Deutsche gewesen wären. So etwas enttäuscht mich sehr, da ich von einem Café einen respektvollen Umgang mit allen Gästen erwarte, egal woher sie kommen.

My highlight is the Lambrusko, you won't find it anywhere else. You can park in the backyard. No matter what the weather, I always got a great spot. There is something for every taste. A veteran from Arnsatdt and always worth a visit.

A year ago I went to the Tiroler Stuben/Café with my girlfriend for a delicious ice cream sundae for a birthday party. The sundaes were well filled with delicious ice cream and fruit and beautifully decorated. The service was friendly and competent. The decor of the restaurant is rustic with beautiful upholstered chairs and wooden tables, but there are also comfortable corner benches. There are different rooms. A large cake buffet with various tarts and cakes, tarts, slices and waffles as well as various types of coffee as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and much more. There is also a rich lunch menu, with soups, salads, Viennese dishes and much more. The café is also centrally located in the pedestrian zone on Erfurter Straße in Arnstadt. In summer you can also eat in front of the café. You can also buy cakes to take away here and there is also a café to go. Gladly again.

I had dinner there with the family, I'm not from Arnstadt myself, but I chose this restaurant because there was no alternative. Waitress/owner friendly but slightly annoyed. The food we ordered was a disgrace!!! Somewhere in the thick breading you found something similar to a piece of meat. Fries lukewarm and certainly weighed exactly to 200g. I tried the “Austrian Cola” - no trace of carbon dioxide. The explanation given by the waitress was that this cola was not carbonated. Well then! No offense but this visit was simply a mistake. I took pictures of the incredibly “good, high quality and absolutely justified food” but can’t seem to upload them here. It's a shame, because pictures say more than 1000 words. I don't recommend this place.
