Sorry, but it's obvious the staff haven't been properly trained. The food was almost cold, and you had to ask for a receipt. Even then, the staff asked how you were doing.

I won't be eating at Subway for a long, long time. This year I've eaten at Subway about three times. Every single time I was completely disappointed. Today I ordered through Lieferando. After more than an hour, my food still hadn't arrived, so I called the restaurant to ask. Then I was told that the food wasn't available because the menu item was no longer offered. Apparently, the whole thing had been canceled. I was surprised because the order was still showing as pending on Lieferando. But okay, so I went to Subway myself and got a sub. This time, of course, it came with the wrong sauce. When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes. The Lieferando driver was standing at my door, ready to give me my food. I've never experienced anything like this. I paid a total of €55 and received my food way too late—about two hours after ordering. Which I don't quite understand, because Lieferando usually shows my phone number. But since I've only been there three times and something always went wrong, whether it was the order or the preparation of the Subway, I can only advise against it.

The food was really great... there were a few ingredients in the salad that weren't ordered... the touchscreen is annoying and extremely slow... the scanner is also placed quite poorly... and the worst part (hence no star for ambiance)... annoying little black mosquitoes that came out of the trash can and sat on everything... the trash cans definitely need to be emptied more often... then these mosquitoes wouldn't settle there either.

We ordered takeout, but when we got home, we were bitterly disappointed. The bread was rock hard, as if it had been baked that morning and left unwrapped all day. I ate the contents, which were fresh and delicious. The bread went in the bin. I'm still hungry - fail. Next time, I'll head to one of the other two branches and try my luck there 😊

We've been there several times, but unfortunately, the cleanliness has left a lot to be desired lately. I even took photos one day of how messy it looked. The terrace hadn't been swept in ages, and the trash can was overflowing, so the tables probably hadn't been wiped down in a while. They recently added ordering kiosks, and they're truly terrible. At first, the things barely responded, so we thought they were broken, and then it took over 10 minutes to prepare our order even though the store was almost empty. That was the special thing about Subway: first, you could see the food and second, you could put together your order together with the employee. So, there's no service there in that sense anymore. Who the hell thought up this crap? They've now built a "wall" in front of the counter where the kiosks are, so you can no longer see the products. A look behind the new "wall" also revealed that now that customers can no longer see it, they're no longer paying attention to cleanliness. At first glance, everything was pretty dirty. All in all, a bitter disappointment; things used to be much better there.

Recently, you no longer place your order with the staff, but have to enter everything on touchscreens. The screens barely respond to touch, so it takes three times as long to place that stupid order. By that time, you'd be out of there with your food forever. As soon as it gets a bit busier, you wait much longer because there's a huge backlog at the vending machines. This somewhat defeats the purpose of "fast food." Very frustrating, definitely not an improvement!

⭐️ – Subway Trier (near Globus) I'm actually a huge Subway fan – the food is, as always, delicious, fresh, and of a high standard. Under normal circumstances, this would definitely deserve a 5-star rating. But what I experienced today was simply unacceptable. In the summer, this location is a hygiene disaster. It was extremely hot in the store, there was no air conditioning, no air circulation – and then the door is left open all day. Combined with the strong Subway smell, this attracts mosquitoes in droves. Really, massive numbers. I was bitten several times during my short stay; the insects fly around the food, settle on surfaces, and you seriously wonder if you're just eating a sandwich or accidentally consuming some extra protein. Eating outside? Not an option. Even there, mosquitoes fly around – attracted by the open door and the smell. What makes the whole thing even worse: An employee stands there all day in the middle of this heat and flying insects and has to continue working as if it were normal. These are unacceptable working conditions. No one should be forced to prepare food under such conditions – it's unacceptable for both guests and staff. I sincerely hope that a swift response is made. Air conditioning, an automatic door, or at least a fly screen would be absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, today's experience only gets 1 out of 5 stars – not because of the food, but because of the conditions, which are simply unacceptable.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The food is fresh, but that's the positive. Order and pay at the vending machine. Could it be any more impersonal? It's like a food counter in a prison, with terrible music. The food is squashed and designed for a quick bite. No emphasis on quality. Tip: Bring some napkins from home. Or better yet, eat somewhere else.

I can only agree with some of the other users here. The quality is getting worse and worse. I used to come here more often. But these days, it's very dependent on who's preparing the sub. One positive thing to note, however, is that all the employees are friendly. There are still major problems: - Displays: Actually good, but Subway, in particular, thrived on the original concept of being able to watch. Now, you can't intervene if something is prepared incorrectly or if you want to add something (e.g., more or less sauce). - Sub preparation: Some employees put too much on the bread, others too little. The bread is often not cut properly, the sauce is poorly distributed, etc. And with the new display system, you only notice it when you unwrap the sub. I'm still giving it 2 stars because the staff is quite friendly. However, I won't be a frequent customer unless the above-mentioned issues improve/change.

We stopped by to eat something while passing through. Ordering was easy. Simply put together your sub online, wait, and pick it up. It was delicious. There are also kiosks inside, but ordering online was really convenient! We'd be happy to go again!

Luckily, I haven't been there in a while, and surprisingly, business has gotten even worse: Orders can only be made on the screen, but the touchscreen is barely responsive. Card payments now work, but we waited 10 minutes at dirty tables for our order. We then had to pick it up. And everything was very expensive.

I actually enjoy coming to Subway, but the new self-service machines make the whole process much more inconvenient. Instead of ordering directly from the employee as before, you now have to enter everything via a touchscreen - this slows down the process significantly. What's worse is that you can no longer control what the employee is doing. As a result, several of my orders were processed incorrectly. In the past you could say what you wanted or correct it straight away - now you only notice it when the sandwich is already ready. This has nothing to do with the service or the quality of the food, but this system is really a step backwards. I hope we go back to the old routine.

You have discount codes that cannot be redeemed at the machines! The problem is always down here! In other subways the codes work, but here there are constant problems with the machines. You get the free churro e.g. not even if you show it in the app and draw attention to it. 30% doesn't work either. Sad but this was our last visit here!

There was almost a fight between employees the other day. Customers with children accidentally had lids thrown at them. This is really going too far. But new terminals are quite ok. Food has gotten better. It now tastes really good again, just like it did in the early days of Subway Germany.

Since they introduced ordering via touchscreen devices rather than in person, all you get is disgusting stuff that you didn't order. I've been there three times since then. Twice, most recently last night shortly before 11 p.m., I received the wrong order, which of course you only notice when you unpack the food at home. Since you can no longer see what they are doing behind the counter because the touchscreens block your view, you can no longer take corrective action if they do something wrong. Yesterday it tasted so disgusting that I had to throw it away. More than 13 euros for the ton. WHO PUT TORTILLA CHIPS ON A SANDWICH?!

Unfortunately, another disappointing experience. Once again, my sub was cold, and even the cheese wasn't even remotely melted. Instead of offering a solution, the staff was completely unaccommodating. Customer service doesn't seem to be a priority here. Furthermore, the restaurant was in questionable condition—not a single table was clean. For the price, I expect at least a properly prepared sandwich and a clean environment—both of which were unfortunately not the case. I'll think twice about eating here again in the future.

It wasn't just the dirtiest subway I've ever been to. This was the unkemptest restaurant I've ever been to. The lettuce was gray and wilted, the toilets - an hour after opening - were really, really bad, dried urine residue, the toilet, no, I won't go into detail about it. It wasn't cleaned here for days. Really disgusting. I'd rather starve than eat here. After the experience I will avoid all subways because I was so disgusted.

The new terminals allow for very limited customization (which is one of Subway's main marketing arguments). Toasted longer? Not selectable. Sub of the day? Is not evaluated by the terminal. Would you like to have more of an ingredient than the snippets that are put out to save money? Only if you stand at the counter in such a way that you can call for a deposit (by the way, the counter is permanently open and can only be seen to a very limited extent thanks to the terminals). Drinks are only available in bottles and the deposit cannot be redeemed at Subway. The door to the restaurant is jammed open all year round, regardless of whether the guests are freezing like a shaved hamster at the door. They only close when the store closes. It's symptomatic of the fact that Subway is on the decline worldwide.

The new input system via the terminals does not recognize discounts such as the sub of the day. Therefore pressed for cash payment. The employee refused to recognize the discount and insisted on 14.95 euros even though he admitted that it was Wednesday and that the sub (vegan Terriaky) he ordered was the sub of the day. According to their own advertising, the correct amount is €7.48 + €3.5 for the menu. Even though I pointed it out, I was deducted.

I ordered a sub here half an hour ago from these machines that have been there since new. My sub was filled completely differently than stated on the receipt. Instead of chipotle it had honey mustard on it, which I absolutely don't like, and I specifically ordered it without corn and it had corn on it. Since I absolutely can't stand the sweet sauce, I couldn't eat it either. 10€ for the bin, an absolute disgrace! With the old ordering method, where you can see the preparation, I would have noticed this on the spot. Now I'm sitting here stupid at home

Employees who can't understand you properly. You should have at least one of the 2/3 employees behind the counter who understands what the customer wants on his sandwich! There were also 2 to 3 employees there and only one was behind the counter. If there is a line that goes all the way out to the parking lot, you should change your priorities.

We were there on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 at around 6 p.m. The squat toilet looked like someone had broken into it. The tables were very dirty and escape flies were flying everywhere (a small number of fruit flies is often normal but at that time there were extremely many). This was my 3rd visit to this subway, the first two times the hygiene was significantly better. Unfortunately, this time it was, to put it briefly, “bad.”

You shouldn't hire people who don't want the job. I don't think anyone has to love the job, but professional employees make a huge difference. In the store you could clearly see that one person wanted to do their job well and the other person didn't feel like doing anything. (Maybe just having a bad day) Otherwise it was clean and in the usual Subway manner.

Worst subway I've ever been to. Staff absolutely incompetent. My girlfriend ordered veggie and got meat plus the wrong bread. Since when do they actually wrap the subs in the subway with the white paper that they use for receipt? Will never go here again. One star because you have to give one!

What happened to the subway? Staff who don't understand you or don't want to understand you! No hello or thank you. The place was totally unclean and full of leftover food. All the doors were open and it was cold, so the sub quickly got cold too, it was carelessly slapped together and was completely muddy within seconds. There was no more toilet paper in the toilet. Every kebab is tastier and more attractively presented. Price/performance is no longer right at all. All I can say is goodbye and not goodbye.

I wanted to get two 15cm subs there today using the promotion from the Lidl app. (2 for the price of one). According to the two very unmotivated employees who were there, this is not possible. However, this was possible last Sunday. When one of the two service staff said this last Sunday, this was denied, he had never done it before, it was not possible. An absolute joke, if this is advertised it has to be accepted! (Especially since it worked without any problems on Sunday May 19th) The employees should urgently be trained in service, friendliness and motivation.

Well the quality was better and the price was cheaper but that seems to be the trend these days. The atmosphere in the store now feels like the kebab shop around the corner. The staff was really friendly and competent, so you can't complain. The sandwich was somehow flimsy with fewer ingredients (it had more fillings and how should I say it was crunchier and fresher). The ingredients were fresh. The price for a menu was already high, elsewhere you get more and better for the money.

Price for a foot long is now over 11eur. I think it's too expensive for a sandwich. Regardless sandwich: The Garlic one - had almost no garlic taste The spicy one - had no spice Quite disappointed with that.

I am very happy to find allowed food for diabetics. Wholegrain bread, variety of veggies and protein are really good. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Absolutely love it

Park and collect. The worst thing there is. There are 100 people coming in and out and I've been waiting for my food for an hour. There's no way people will do that.

A loyal Subway visitor for many years. Unfortunately, prices have risen sharply. It feels like I'll soon be paying the same price for the Footlong Sub as I did 10 years ago for the 1 meter Sub with a pre-order. The staff and atmosphere were great that day. However, I have also experienced things differently. Unfortunately, this sub (chicken garlic) was probably the driest sub I've ever eaten. Even extra sauce didn't make it any better. The portion of meat was also strictly measured, but in this case it was probably better.

Ich wollte nach einem langen Schultag einfach einen Sub mit Mayonaisesoße essen… Sie hatten keine. Welcher Subway hat keine Mayonaisesoße????? Es war ein sehr entäuschendes Erlebnis. Habe sowas noch nie erlebt. Einfach eine Unverschämtheit. Empfehle ich nicht weiter!!!!!

War heute Morgen da und essen war sehr lecker und warm und Personal waren auch sehr freundlich und nett. 👍 Ich würde auf jeden Fall jeden Tag ein Sub da genießen
