Subway in Pforzheim

I enjoy going there again now. There was a time when things were soooo slow, and you'd think the young lady behind the counter was about to fall asleep 🫣...last week, a young man was there who was certainly relatively new and not quite as experienced, but still significantly faster than the young woman before...and he was very friendly, too! Unfortunately, that's become rare these days...so I'm happy to wait a few minutes longer 😀

Food is always good but the area was very quite

It's going downhill...unfortunately, for several months now, as already written here, poorly trained employees (except for one long-standing employee), and a very rude owner...coupons are offered online, including from this branch, and then not accepted in the store...sometimes the wrong ingredients are listed when picking up...service is non-existent

The subs themselves are rather sparsely loaded, despite things like double cheese or sauce (which you pay extra for). The service is okay, though the staff is more bored than engaged. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the tables and especially the restrooms left a lot to be desired.

People, please. Hire fast staff. I arrived today at 8:50 p.m. and there was exactly one person in front of me, and I left at 9:15 p.m. with my order on the spot. It's unacceptable that one person needs 25 minutes to make three subs (two from the customer in front of me and mine). The line behind me kept getting longer, and the people were getting more and more impatient. The guy who was on shift today, or rather, was on shift today, is just way too slow. That's not efficient at all. I'll be glad when the store manager returns from vacation. Or one of the other colleagues who work quickly and efficiently. Please don't let this colleague from today work alone anymore. To clarify who I mean: tall guy, darker skin, Indian accent. Otherwise, the food is okay as always. The place could be a bit cleaner in general. The tables need to be wiped down more often, and at the prep counter, especially around the sauces, everything was smeared today. The counter itself was also barely restocked. There was very little of anything. But that doesn't surprise me. When you work that slowly, you don't have time to restock the counter. The fact that he had to run back several times to get ingredients for preparation didn't make the wait any better.

The worst Subway branch I've ever visited! It started with the staff speaking very poor German and the manager loudly demanding that employees work faster. The working atmosphere there also seems anything but good. Apart from that, the health department should urgently visit regularly, because small flies were visible crawling around the glass behind which meat, salads, etc. were stored. Ordering and preparation also took forever.

Unfortunately, I can only agree with the other reviews. It's terrible to see a poor, apparently untrained waitress all alone in the store and not managing at all. There were four people in front of me, each of whom only ordered one loaf of bread. Nevertheless, I waited 30 minutes. The cleanliness was mediocre. On top of that, it was cold because the bread sat on the counter for another five minutes after coming out of the oven, before the last bits of bread were slapped onto it from the containers. Almost everything was practically gone (bread, cheese, vegetables, sauces, cookies). In the end, my bread wasn't what I ordered. I really wouldn't recommend the store.

An absolute disaster! Not recommended!

It's been absolutely terrible for a few weeks now. The quality has gotten considerably worse than before, and the shop's service has also deteriorated. A few weeks ago, my colleague at work ordered and paid via app. When he arrived, he was told, "There was no order in the system and they couldn't help him now; he should go home." Absolutely audacious to say something like that to a customer. The employee who fobbed him off so rudely was, by the way, the owner of the shop. The same owner has been demanding an additional 20 cents for an Uber Eats paper bag when picking up his order for a week or two. I had already paid online and didn't have a wallet with me, so I guess I had to carry the six subs back to the office by hand. There's a woman who works in the shop who is an absolute lady of honor and the only competent employee there. If she serves you, you're just lucky. I wouldn't wish the owner at the counter on my worst enemy as a server. Never again, I'll just drive 10 minutes longer to the train station.

The dirtiest branch I know. The other branch, also in Pforzheim, is 100% better than this one. Sorry, I can only agree with the other negative comments, terrible.

The worst experience at a fast food restaurant. I waited 33 minutes in the store for a chicken teriyaki sandwich and the Sunday beef taco special, regularly priced at $3.99, which apparently turned out to be $5.80 because the employee couldn't find the special on their computer. Cleanliness was at its lowest. Salads, salami, chicken, corn, and pickles were everywhere. The employees were poorly trained and uninterested in their work.

What I really have to say is that the employee behind the counter really doesn't want to work there. He took our order very poorly, he was completely unmotivated. He didn't accept our phone card for the subway, even though if you buy a 30cm sub, you get free churros. At the checkout, he didn't even know what I'd ordered; he just looked at me stupidly. I'm never going back to that restaurant. For that money, I can get better food elsewhere!

Unbelievable, today, Sunday evening, at 9 p.m., the store was already closed. An hour early! We drove 20 minutes across Pforzheim for nothing, only to find ourselves standing in front of a locked door and watching the staff "cleaning." No one responded to us. Another customer then told me that this often happens there. This is absolutely unacceptable. A huge mess.

Unfortunately, it's very dirty. Tables and floors are sticky!!! A real shame

Everything was very dirty. The salad was rotten, the sauce containers were extremely dirty. There was an incredible amount of slimy dirt on the cash register keypad. The floor was sticky and felt like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The server made no attempt to replace the rotten salad. Unacceptable—I won't be visiting the Subway in Pforzheim again.

I ordered chicken teriyaki and chicken fajita for €32.08. After over an hour, the wrong order arrived – with moldy tortillas and salami, even though I didn't order them! Absolutely disgusting! We called the branch several times, but they just said "Call tomorrow" and then hung up. No one answered after that. Very disappointing and absolutely not recommended!

Every time I was there, the boss (an older man) was really rude to his employees. Today, in front of several customers, he snapped at his employee that the sub was loaded incorrectly (a bit too much meat). Until one customer asked him to sort it out later in a more relaxed manner. That was really unpleasant. When it was my turn to order, he was really rude to me too. But his employees are much more competent and load the subs much better than he does.

I was at Subway on a Sunday around 6:30 p.m. and had to wait over an hour for my order to even be taken. The employees must have been processing a long order, but there was zero communication or information about what was happening. The line of customers stretched all the way to the door... what a shame!

The sandwich is more like a pile of mush and not even properly packaged. The service is so fussy, I'd rather only order it if I really have to!

A rip-off: The app states that the restaurant is one of the participating locations offering a deal. However, this was refused at the checkout with the reason: “The boss said we wouldn’t do that.”

Subway Wilferdingerhöhe in Pforzheim – a mixed experience. ⭐⭐ The sub was fine and the service was acceptable. But parking is a challenge, the outside area looks dirty, and the tables were covered in crumbs. The cutting boards at the outlet could also urgently need a cleaning. A visit here is more likely to be remembered for the crumbs than the sandwiches. Maybe it's better to switch to another branch. 🥖😅

Hello everyone, very very important info to everyone! A few days ago on Tuesday October 8th, 2024 I was at the Subway Pforzheim Karlsruhe str.34 after eating the food it went bad. The next day I had extremely bad diarrhea because I was in customer service. Plumbing and heating everything went to shit with a lot of pain .I'm sharing this with everyone because this is no fun. I've never had diarrhea this bad in my entire life. I just hope that the boss comes up with something because I wouldn't be able to work that day, so I also had a huge loss of service as a self-employed entrepreneur. Been there twice as a detour from the A8. Both times surprisingly good. Subs were pretty full, it was quick and the employees were friendly. Cleanliness on the tables was ok for a fast food restaurant.

Terrible branch. No coupons can be redeemed, not everything is in stock (breads, sauces, ingredients, cookies), drinks fridge half empty, staff unfriendly and simply takes the wrong sauce, toilet disgusting and without soap

Staff hardly put any vegetables on it. It's ridiculous how little salad is put on it.

You could eat it, but this Subway doesn't accept vouchers or coupons. So we paid significantly more than planned. I didn't finish my sandwich and wanted to pack the rest. I politely asked if I could pack it up, the woman behind the counter got really sulky and asked in a bad tone if she should do it. I did it myself because I was so irritated. I mean, there was no one in the store except and she had nothing to do, but apparently she didn't want to do any work or I should leave the rest there, I don't know.

Food was good. However, the store needs to be renovated in one place or another and the music box at the entrance needs to be repaired.

Simply speechless! I've eaten here several times but today was really the last one!!! Found a black hair on half of my one SUB. The woman who served me didn't accept that there was a hair on it. Then she says the woman who cut the vegetables had blonde hair - it could also be yours. Then I said, I have a blonde beard. It was very disrespectful, even though she doesn't even speak German properly. Tomorrow, August 15th, 2024, I'll go up here again and talk to the boss or shift manager about it. I made a special video! Horrible!

Well, eating was okay. Service wasn't very informative. Toilets were not clean and the soap was diluted with water. Feeling good nil.

Absolutely horrible store. The service staff was absolutely unfriendly and overwhelmed. I ordered (and paid for) double tuna and double cheese and lo and behold... Absolutely laughable. Photos speak for themselves... Already the second time I'm so disappointed. Never again!!!

Clean, tasty, fast and friendly. In my opinion, you don't need anything more for a healthy lunch at a fair price.

I was there again recently and had a great experience, although I've only had bad experiences there so far, but today I was there again and today there was someone else because I think her name was Lia or something and she did everything great and was also very competent and helpful when putting together my sub. Die Öffnungs Zeiten sind online bis 21:30 ich war kurz vor 21:00 Uhr und der Mitarbeiter meinte es sei zu obwohl die danach weiter gemacht haben nachdem wir draußen waren. Richtig unverschämt ich war wirklich 3-4 mal die Woche da wirklich schade. Sogar ein Stern ist es zu viel.

Ich wurde um 16:30 von Fabian bedient, hab ihn das erste mal dort angetroffen als „ Halb-Stammkunde“ bin ich nicht jede Woche hier. Ich habe noch nie ein so kompetenten, freundlichen und gut erzogenen jungen Mann getroffen! Ich hoffe Subway stellt in der Zukunft mehr so qualifiziertes Personal ein!

Hat mega geschmeckt und der Freundliche Mitarbeiter (Namen weiß ich leider nicht) der am 14.11.23 um 16:30Uhr Schicht hatte ist auch sehr nett und konnte mich beim bestellen gut beraten

Immer relativ frisch und lecker. Preislich war Subway auch immer in Ordnung. Für etwas schnelles und leckeres eine sehr gute Option.

Wir haben 5 Subs online vorbestellt. Leider wurde vor Ort festgestellt, dass die Bestellung nicht angekommen ist. Die Produkte mussten also vor Ort frisch zu bereitet werden. Leider hatte das Restaurant viele der Zutaten nicht mehr vorrätig (Brote, Käse und weitere einzelne Zutaten...). Da bei der online Vorbestellung bereits bezahlt wurde, hat sich die Zubereitung vor Ort dann als etwas komplizierter erwiesen, wir wollten schließlich die bereits bezahlte Qualität. Am Ende hat ca. 30 Minuten gedauert, bis wir zumindest etwas zu essen mitnehmen konnten. Parkplatzsituation ist je nach Uhrzeit eher schlecht. Zum Parken ist auch recht wenig Platz.

Hin und wieder mal keine Lust zu arbeiten und sind sehr leise beim Reden

Ein gepflegtes Restaurant, der Tresen und die Theke sauber. Das Personal war höflich und war trotz meiner großen Bestellung ruhig und gelassen. Das Sub ( ein Chicken Teriyaki footlong ) war angemessen belegt und echt lecker. Alles in allem gutes Essen mit coolen Mitarbeitern, ich hatte Freude beim Abendessen :)

Sauberer Laden und nettes Personal

Ich kann nur weiterempfehlen. Der hübsche Junge Mann ist immer sehr freundlich.

Essen ist ganz gut. Ich hatte das Gefühl das es sauber ist. Im Eingangs Bereich die Terrasse sieht etwas auffällig aus.. Sonst ist das Restaurant wie ein normales subway eingerichtet.

Wow. Das beschreibt diesen Subway. Super nette Bedienung, tolle und sehr üppige Zubereitung und ein wahnsinnige Einrichtung. Wir aßen den Sub des Tages - sehr gut belegt. Sehr gerne empfehle ich dieses Fastfood-Restaurant weiter.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen ist auch gut. Leider lässt die Sauberkeit sehr zu wünschen übrig. Tische und Böden sind sehr verkrümelt, teilweise hängen essensstücke an den Wänden, sehr schade.

Essen war gut wie immer aber das Personal eine absolute Katastrophe. Wir haben es mit dem lays code probiert aber das Personal wusste nichts davon, obwohl es auf der Internet Seite steht. 5min später haben sie es bei anderen Kunden akzeptiert, bei Nachfrage bekam ich nur schlechte ausreden. Hoffe auf bessere Einweisung des Personals.

Essen war ok.... Bedienung freundlich.... "Ambiente"....alle Tische im vorderen Bereich nicht abgewischt...Boden dreckig...servier Körbchen dreckig(Krümel) vom Vorgänger...gespült werden die wohl nicht... Fensterrahmen , Fensterbänke...Scheiben..das schreit alles nach einem Lappen und ein wenig Zuwendung.... Also deutlich Potential zur Verbesserung....

Normaler Subway. Gut, wenn es schnell gehen muss.

Wir sind immer mal wieder schnell zwischendurch in der Pause dort um eine Kleinigkeit zu essen! Pluspunkte: In diesem Subway wird glutenfreies Brot angeboten. In dem Laden arbeiten 2 Leute, die extrem aufgeweckt sind und gut arbeiten. Minuspunkte: Fehlende Sauberkeit im Laden. Der Inhaber dieses Franchise Unternehmens ist leider die reinste Katastrophe. Er schenkt einem null Beachtung, begrüßt die Kunden nicht und es gibt Artikel die monatelang einfach nicht verfügbar sind. Außerdem standen wir schon häufiger zu den Geschäftszeiten vor verschlossenen Türen. Leider ein absolutes Unding.

War wieder sehr lecker und super guter Service

Nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

War mit meiner Mutter (sie kannte Subway vom Ablauf her nicht) dort. Der extrem geduldige Mitarbeiter hat uns die nötige Zeit gelassen, die ich gebraucht hatte, um alles zu erklären. Das Lokal sah sauber und ordentlich aus. Es war auch nicht zu voll gewesen. Die subs waren sehr lecker und die Zutaten knackig und frisch. Weiter so!

Leider an einem Samstag Abend in der Hauptverkehrszeit (Ende Ferien) und einem Standort in der Nähe der Autobahn nur eine (1) Bedienung im Laden. Wartezeit fast eine Stunde!

Für ein schnelles Essen gut geeignet. Leider wahren viel von den Zutaten aus und man musste immer nachfragen ob sie der eine oder andere haben. Minus punkt es gibt keine hochstuhl für Kleinkinder und fehlende wickelauflagen

Alles sehr sauber, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Jedoch etwas zu kleiner Parkplatz wenn es mal voll ist.

Sub war lecker, jedoch schade das der Subway nicht bei Aktionen wie dem Sub für 6,99€ mitmacht weswegen wir eigentlich gekommen sind...

Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und haben mit dem Inhalt gegönnt.

Von außen ziemlich unscheinbarer Laden aber das Personal sehr nett und freundlich sowie die typisch leckeren Sandwiches, total empfehlenswerte Adresse in Pforzheim.
