Subway in Göppingen

We were truly appalled by this restaurant. The glass display case was completely splattered. The iceberg lettuce was brown. The tables were filthy, with buckets of water and rags next to the napkins. The toilet knob was smeared with food scraps, and the toilet itself was awful. We will not be coming back.

Salads were stale Cookies were stale The sub tasted awful, kind of rancid.

The food tastes good. The furnishings are dated. Unfortunately, the place isn't clean either. There are crumbs and food scraps on the tables, chairs, and floor. Visible dust. The restroom is marked as being for customer use, but during our short stay, other people used it three times, and we weren't told.

So the food is all right but the employees are absolutely no go unfriendly and do not even know their own offers or processes in the cash register system

Disgusting. The bun was dry, the meat was cold and dry, and the tomatoes were mushy. Never again, such a huge disappointment. I really expected more.

I do not recommend the shop for eating but another restaurant like Chinese or puzzaria there you can expect something And it tastes delicious and you are well satisfied. The cookies are also baked and are pure sugar.

To be honest, I ate there and I think the food keeps you full for an hour at the most. A kebab keeps you full for over two hours and secondly the toilet is pretty dirty and the atmosphere isn't that great I have to be honest, so I would recommend only eating there if you're really hungry or not hungry, if you are hungry I would recommend a pizzeria or other restaurant where you can eat and mentioning other people's names in a review is data protection and shouldn't be said in public, you could also say her full name, like Monika Müllberger.

The subs were well-filled and tasty. The decor is dated and consistently not the cleanest Subway location. The floor and tables are littered with crumbs and food scraps. Was on Saturday April 19th, 2025, ordered my food so far so good, had a whole baguette, had eaten the first one, wanted to eat the second one and suddenly I saw that it was moldy at the bottom! I then complained about it and got a new one but I lost my appetite! I'll give Subway in Göppingen a wide berth for now. What a shame, they then sorted out 2 baguettes.

Very bad food, some of which doesn't taste good because the best before date was not adhered to. In addition, the manager is not competent to manage the shop properly because you have to wait 1 month retroactively for your wages. Otherwise, the employees there are very friendly and okay, but I still wouldn't invest my money in a juice shop like that 🤣

The employees are nice, but if you think about it, you definitely have to wait over a month until you get money and you still have to be patient, that's 2 months. The food is good overall, but there's a lot of sugar, especially the cookies, that's clear, so if you want to eat healthy, Subway is not for a small hunger, okay, but to fill up you should change the local one.

Sunday, 6 p.m., better not to order from Subway in Göppingen. I just had to repeat what I wanted about eight times, but in the end it was still wrong. Meanwhile, the staff happily had private conversations with some friends in the store, and in the end, of the four items ordered, one was complete with just salad, even though it was ordered differently. The employee pushed us to order even though it was completely empty at the time. I ordered 2 foodlongs of teriyaki chicken and they were both still cold. Then when paying, the employee made a €11 mistake. And was only able to fix it with the help of a colleague And it's far too quiet (music would be great)

Drive extra for a burger shown on the website. Employee says no. In order not to have to drive unnecessarily, I decided to go for something else (which was even more expensive). The boss at the checkout can't accommodate me. So I got the wrong sub at the expensive price. No thanks.

I've always been happy, but lately it's been getting worse! Constantly changing staff, nobody really knows what to do.... Staff also very unfriendly and unmotivated with a few exceptions! On Monday I wanted to buy the new pepperoni dipper that is being advertised everywhere. Another new employee... Does that mean no, we don't have anything like that... Especially not at the price of €1.99. But it is advertised that way. When I tried to make it clear to him several times, even in the store, right behind him, the sign was hanging, it said "I've never done that before and I don't have time for it now." Please? I understand if new employees don't know their stuff 100% yet, but it can be prepared in 2 minutes! Why don't you have time for that? Which company offers food? Finally I explained to him what the whole thing looked like on the last visit. He reluctantly prepared it. Very annoyed, he handed me the food... He couldn't get a goodbye! It was already clear to me that I wouldn't go there anymore! But what the heck, today I happened to be nearby and thought I'd test it out again. This time the order went smoothly. There also seemed to be a shift manager or something similar on site here. I paid and the gentleman in question handed me the 2 dippers. When asked for a dip (as advertised and the name suggests) they said "yes, I'll do that now as an exception, next time it will cost an extra €0.50). Here, too, I pointed out to the employee that I hadn't had to pay any extra charge so far and that the large poster said "with a dip of your choice". The answer I got was “yes, those are different dips, but we didn’t get them delivered”. When I asked what that would be, he couldn't give me an answer. Then I looked again in the app, you can choose any sauce you want! The staff here should urgently be trained. Both about our own products and campaigns, as well as when it comes to friendliness. That doesn't work at all! Branch is old but clean. The quality of the products has always been flawless. Unfortunately, in the evening about 2 hours before the store closes, I often see cookies sold out and very little choice of vegetables.

I was there on August 29, 2024 at 9:15 p.m. to get something to eat for the night shift. The employee was very stressed and annoyed that customers were there, he was so unfriendly that I canceled the order. That was the last time at Subway in Göppingen...

I have never experienced such a bad subway. They haven't been able to have cookies or toppings on stock for 3 days. You are constantly being sent away or the employees think they have everything cleaned up and ready to close 4 hours before closing time. That can't be the case! Apart from the fact that the employees either don't feel like it or are in a bad mood, they let the customers know it with their manner. I'm not the only one who is disappointed and angry with this location. Dear management, something has to change immediately!!!!

Simply a disaster... This Subway branch is simply the worst I know... Vouchers are almost never accepted. Statement from the employees "we're not taking part in this".... I'd rather go to Nürtingen from now on... Better train staff and new operators. This branch urgently needs that...

I've always been positively surprised by our subway in Göppingen the last few times. Everything available in terms of products, just as it should be. Current staff is very satisfactory!

Didn't close my sub properly and everything fell down

The subway in Göppingen used to be really good. Unfortunately, today it's just mediocre: a lot of things are no longer available in the early evening, the staff is rather unmotivated and the subs are no longer worth the price. A pity!

Tried to buy subs on a Sunday lunchtime for the 3rd time today. No matter whether at 12:30 p.m., 12:45 p.m. or today even at 1:20 p.m. Nothing was prepared or ready for sale. Today there wasn't even a single loaf of bread available because it was just being baked at the moment. Opening time Sunday 12 p.m.?!

It's been a long time since I've been to Subway and now the menus have new names, which threw me, the old country bumpkin, off track a bit ;-) A young dark-skinned woman and a young man served me very, very sweetly and patiently. (04/20, approx. 11:30 a.m.) I describe the two of them so precisely because they were both really hard-working and friendly. Dear Göppingen branch management, please praise them both again. We got our Subways exactly how we wanted them and they were very patient in guiding us through the menu. Thanks! I've had different experiences in other branches and I really appreciate it! Never again. No matter what we wanted, it wasn't there. The waitress almost didn't understand any German. I didn't want corn and what do I get, even though I said it several times, corn. There was also only two pieces of meat on the whole sub and that was for that price. Complaining didn't help either, they apparently didn't understand us.

After work in the medical service, even after 9 p.m., the staff were very nice and I was completely satisfied and the sandwiches at home also tasted delicious

Absolutely negative experience from start to finish. No greeting, you could only choose 2 types of bread, no communication (and if you did, it was unfriendly!), then the bread was burnt dark brown - when I asked, it was then re-prepared (with a grumpy “I can order a new sub.” ..”). We wanted a cookie, there wasn't one. There was no communication during the checkout process and you were simply left standing while paying. All in all, more of a flop than a great!

It's best not to have a star at all for this branch because half of them are always missing and they claim things are out of stock... In Stuttgart it is always available and no one there knows anything about these things where they are “out of the range” and the workers simply flop!! And you're constantly smoking in front of the door and you have to wait until the stinky butts are smoked out. It's really crazy. Schools should be completely staffed, but smart people should avoid this branch, as the whole of GP does, the bosses should notice from the numbers!

Ok, but I expected much more from Subway sandwiches as a franchise, I'm kind of sad 🥺

Da kommt man unter der Woche um 13 Uhr hin und es gibt kein Teriyaki mehr. Lachhaft.

Schmecken tuts immer gut, aber leider komme ich nicht mit der Art von Erdogan klar. Er benimmt sich gegenüber seinen MitarbeiterINNEN sehr patriarchalisch, bestimmend und herablassend. Auch (den Kunden) und mir gegenüber wirkt er so, als wolle er zeigen, dass er der Chef im Haus ist. Kann besondere Wünsche schlecht annehmen und Kritik verträgt er schon gleich gar nicht.

Bitte macht die Brötchen wärmer dann 5 Sterne damals war das Brötchen bei euch immer warm wenn man es ist heutzutage leider schon in 2 min kalt kann mann nicht mehr Hitze oder länger dann mach ich 5 sterne

5 Sterne für die Boys die gestern Abend den hinter der Theke waren. Die beiden war sehr höflich, haben alles sehr ordentlich gemacht und haben sich an die Hygienevorschriften gehalten. Da sollten sich die anderen Filialen mal ne Scheibe abschneiden.

Ein normales Subway halt :) Hier stehen zwar viele Bewertungen wie unfreundlich der Service sei, dies kann ich aber nicht bestätigen. Sub war wie überall bei Subway in Ordnung, Ambiente eher ungemütlich.

Langsame Bedienung, Wedges nicht gesalzen. Menü bestellt.. Alles einzeln kassiert bekommen. Subway ist ein tolles Restaurant nur den Standort in Göppingen besuche ich nicht mehr.

Alle supernett, schnell, zuverlässig. Alles ist frisch. Geh jeden Donnerstag zu Chris.

War schon seit vielen Jahren nichtmehr in einem Subway, also musste ich nochmal nachfragen wie man ein Sub im Menu bestellt. Mir wurde alles nett erklärt und dann ging alles auch wie gewohnt sehr schnell. Mein Freund hatte zum ersten Mal bestellt und sogar das Vegane Chicken Teriyaki probiert (was regulär mein Liebling ist), war sehr überrascht, werde ich das nächste Mal auch in meinem Sub probieren :)

Sehr ordentlich und netter Service, ging sehr schnell und die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich! Würde jederzeit wieder dort essen

Prinzipiell ist das Subway ein toller Imbiss. Aber ich wurde bei meinem letzten Besuch in der Filiale in Göppingen sehr enttäuscht. Das Personal schien sehr gestresst und machte einen unmotivierten und unfreundlichen Eindruck. Mag es an der Tagesform gelegen haben... Meine ausgesuchten Subs wurden prinzipiell ordnungsgemäß zusammengestellt. Beim öffnen und dem Versuch sie zu verzehren sind die Subs dann allerdings auseinander gefallen. Dann durfte ich miterleben, wie Kundschaft vom Personal angepampt wurde, nur weil Kunde sich erdreistet hat sich bei der Zusammenstellung seines Subs nocheinmal in der Auswahl umzuentscheiden... Nichts essentielles... Dann wurde mit dem eigenen Kollegen, vermutlich ein Neuling, vor der Kundschaft auch nicht wirklich diplomatisch umgegangen... Solche Dinge dürfen in einem Servicebetrieb auf keinen Fall vorkommen... Und am Ende hat mein Sub auch noch verwässert geschmeckt... Schade um die Lebensmittel umd um das Geld dafür!!! In nächster Zeit auf jeden Fall nicht mehr!

Viele Zutaten waren aus. Der Mitarbeiter (von uns der Pirat getauft ) belegt glaube ich so wie es ihm schmeckt. Anstatt Chilli nimmt er Zwiebeln und anstatt Cheddar normalen Käse. Es war allgemein sehr schmuddelig an den Plätzen und auch hinter dem Tresen. Der Mitarbeiter den sie Chef nannten hatte sowas von keine Lust

Der Tisch war leider voll mit Krümeln, ansonsten lecker wie immer. Bedienung war auch freundlich. Update: Trotz 3 Mitarbeitern und nur 3 Gästen hat die Bestellung heute ewig gedauert, die Bedienung hat total high gewirkt und auch nicht wirklich das auf den Sub gelegt, was ich wollte. Die Potato Teile im Menü waren "aus". Wobei es eher wirkte, als wäre einfach die Fritteuse nicht in Betrieb. Eine Kollegin, die wohl privat hier war, hat die Arbeiter mit Schwätzchen aufgehalten.

Toller und schneller service!!! Hier zu essen ist immer ein Vergnügen. Besonders ist mir der Erdogan aufgefallen Er hat immer eine gute beratung apparat

Ich kann deren Kekse sehr empfehlen. Was mir aber nicht gefallen hat sind die Nacho Chicken Bites. Sie schmecken zwar, aber sind für ihre größe und Menge (meiner Meinung nach) viel zu teuer. Ich empfehle die Nacho Bites desshalb eher nicht.

Mitarbeiter sind Memes geworden zum Bespiel: Der der immer nach einer Bestellung direkt laut Ok schreit und Gouda Typ+ Farmerindustries

Essen sehr gut, Wartezeit 20 Minuten war nicht so toll. Der Raum bräuchte ein makeover.

Spontan auf Durchreise Sonntag Abends hier angehalten und vor Ort gegessen. Der Laden war gut besucht und etwas Wartezeit ist ein zu planen. Leider war es vor Ort sehr Kühl und mehrere Deckenventilatoren waren auf hoher Stufe eingeschaltet, so stark das die Servietten vom Tisch flogen. (An sich eine kluge Energiesparmaßnahmen wenn denn die Heizungen an gewesen wären). So haben wir sehr gefroren trotz Winterkleidung. Einer der Mitarbeiter begaffte die Weiblichen Kunden und machte auch ungeniert mehrfach Kommentare zu deren aussehen (Kleidung, Frisur, Haarfarbe und Statur) mit Sicherheit nicht der Eindruck den der Franchisenehmer hinterlassen möchte. Das Essen war Subway entsprechend ordentlich und es gab diesbezüglich keine Überraschungen. Kann man ja auch kaum falsch machen da alles vorgegeben ist. Wir sind trotz dessen sehr unzufrieden mit dem Besuch und raten auch davon ab dort hin zu gehen.

An sich mag ich Subways, aber hier fühle ich mich nicht wohl. Alles sehr leer und man möchte hier nur ungern essen.

Sehr nette Bedienung. Ordentlich und sauberer Laden. Subway ist einer der letzten Fastfoodkette die Konzept, Struktur und Geschmack beibehalten haben. Geschmack wie immer super. Zutaten frisch. Ergänzung: Vor dem Bezahlen drauf achten ob auch wirklich Sub des Tages abgerechnet wurde!

Das Personal war zu zweit und etwas überfordert mit dem "großen" Ansturm. (5 Personen) Der Sub war schon wieder kalt bis wir ihn "serviert" bekommen haben. Hätte etwas mehr Fleisch sein können. Genug negatives... Das Gemüse war schön frisch und die Auswahl recht groß. Fazit: Für den kleinen Hunger ist so ein Sub ganz okay.

Wir waren heute nach längerem mal wieder da und sind zufrieden. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Sandwiches lecker und am Tisch war es sauber. Für dieses Mal eine klare Empfehlung von uns.

Top Belegschaft, Topf Sandwich! Der beste Sub im Bundesgebiet!

Ich war heute das erste Mal hier. Der Mitarbeiter war extrem unfreundlich und unmotiviert. Die Toiletten sind sehr schmutzig und die Tasche troz leerem Laden auch total verklebt. Das Essen war kalt und trocken und total lieblos draufgeklatscht. Leider keine Empfehlung!

Super nettes und liebevolles Personal! Wir wurden richtig von der guten Laune angesteckt und die Subs waren richtig lecker und schön zubereitet. Beste Subs ever :D einziger Makel ist das leider wirklich sehr eklige WC und dass die Cookies aus waren. Aber war auch urz vor Ladenschluss.

Hab noch nie so eine sympathische Mitarbeiterin gesehen wie die Dame mit Kopftuch. Wurde selten so nett bedient, unabhängig vom Lokal..
