Wir haben in fröhlicher Runde mit 4 Frauen das Schlemmermenue genossen, es war köstlich!!! Sehr fröhlicher und freundlicher Service und eine tolle Location an einem lauen Sommerabend! Immer wieder gern!

Wir (2 Ehepaare) hatten einen Abend mit gemischten Erfahrungen. Das Essen war wirklich gut, aber der Service nicht: der Esspresso Martini war zuerst (gefühlt) nur Kaffee, die Reklamation führte zum Auffüllen mit Sambuca (!!, wir hatten vorgeschlagen keinen neuen zu machen, sondern nur den Alkoholbestandteil hinzuzufügen) und an die bestellte Flasche Rotwein mussten wir erinnern, als wir das Hauptgericht bekamen. Insgesamt war der Service unaufmerksam und unterhielt sich lieber mit Stammgästen

Top Service mit sensationellem Essen & einer tollen Location!

Mit 18 Personen haben wir einen sehr schönen Abend im Restaurant Stüffel verbracht. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, leckeres Essen und eine tolle Menüauswahl. Besonders positiv: Auf vegane Sonderwünsche wurde spontan und unkompliziert eingegangen. Dazu ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Klare Empfehlung! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Im Restaurant Stüffel fand unser letztes Coachingtreffen statt und ich bin noch immer begeistert. Der Chef und sein Team haben sich außergewöhnlich engagiert und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen. Selbst an einem eigentlich freien Tag wurde für uns alles möglich gemacht. Dieser Einsatz und die Herzlichkeit sind alles andere als selbstverständlich. Kulinarisch war der Besuch für mich ein echtes Highlight. Das Essen war hervorragend zubereitet und seit langer Zeit wieder einmal ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis. Besonders positiv fand ich auch, dass die vegetarischen Gerichte keineswegs nur eine Beilage zum restlichen Angebot waren, sondern mit viel Liebe und Kreativität zubereitet wurden. Man spürt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft gelebt wird und das Team Freude daran hat, Menschen eine gute Zeit zu bereiten. Beim nächsten Besuch in Hamburg werde ich definitiv wieder einkehren. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Ich war über viele Jahre regelmäßiger Gast im Stüffel und habe mich dort immer wohlgefühlt. Umso enttäuschter war ich bei meinem letzten Besuch. Als ich mit Freunden lediglich auf ein Bier vorbeikommen wollte, ohne etwas zu essen, wurde uns der Einlass verwehrt. Gerade als langjähriger Gast hätte ich mir einen anderen Umgang gewünscht. Natürlich kann jedes Restaurant seine Regeln selbst festlegen, aber Gäste pauschal abzuweisen, nur weil sie an diesem Abend nichts essen möchten, empfinde ich als wenig gastfreundlich. Für mich sehr enttäuschend und leider kein Verhalten, das ich von einem Haus erwarte, das ich über Jahre gerne besucht habe.

Das Restaurant liegt in einer wirklich schönen Lage mit Blick auf die Kanäle. Ich empfehle den Hamachi (Gelbflossenthunfisch), die Ravioli und den Pfirsich-Crumble. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass wir so nah an der Küche saßen. Alle Gerichte wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Sorgfalt zubereitet.

Wir waren hervorragend aufgehoben, alle Speisen inklusive der Vorspeisen und Desserts waren von ausgezeichneter Qualität und Kreativität, es gab eine umfangreiche Weinkarte ausgesuchter Weine, der Service war unkompliziert professionell in entspannt gehobenem Ambiente. Wir waren alle vier hoch zufrieden. Unser Danke gilt dem gesamten Team des gestrigen Abends

Was soll man sagen? Das Gesamtpaket ist einfach perfekt. Es war uns ein Vergnügen zu Gast sein zu dürfen. 1-A Service, toll abgestimmtes Essen und vor allem das Gefühl bei „Freunden“ zu Gast zu sein. Schade, dass ich nicht aus Hamburg komme, sonst hätte das absolut für mich persönlich das Potential das Stammrestaurant zu werden. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke an das gesamte Team für den außergewöhnlichen Abend!

Schreckliche Erfahrung. Das Essen war geschmacklos und für das, was es ist, überteuert. Außerdem sind die Bedienungen unhöflich.

Für viele sicherlich immer noch ein Geheimtipp, obwohl das Stüffel schon seit Jahren zu den Spitzenrestaurants in Hamburg zählt. Eine regelmäßig wechselnde Karte mit exzellenten Speisen, eine dicke Weinkarte mit erlesenen Tropfen aus der ganzen Welt und ein stets aufmerksamer und lockerer Service garantieren einen besonderen Abend bei jedem Anlass.

Das Stüffel ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Seit Anfang an in Bergstedt, inzwischen in Eppendorf. Sehr leckeres saisonales Essen, eine tolle Weinkarte mit sehr fairen Preisen. Herzliches Serviceteam, sehr persönlich und professionell. Reservieren und Hingehen!

Mehr Schein als Sein. Seit 6 Jahren besuche ich das Stüffel, bislang mit Freude und Genuss. Doch die Zeiten guter Gastfreundschaft und feiner Küche scheinen gleichermaßen zu schwinden. Unser letztes Dinner war nur noch ein Abklatsch vergangener Gaumenfreuden: Kein Gruß mehr aus der Küche, der Champagner perlt traurig unterm Eichstrich, und das Menü bleibt allenfalls mittelmäßig. Als Nachspeise zum Mitnehmen präsentiert der Wirt uns noch einen geizigen Wortbruch - was bleibt, ist ein schaler Nachgeschmack.

Im Stüffel erwartet einen immer wieder ein super leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Essen. Der Service ist kompetent, freundlich und dabei auch noch sehr unterhaltsam. In einem gemütlichen Ambiente kann man hier schöne Abende verbringen.

Ein wunderschönes kulinarisches Erlebnis und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Dazu gab es tolle Unterhaltung durch das Personal. Einziger, klitzekleiner, Wermutstropfen war, dass von unseren Bestellungen immer mal wieder was vergessen und erinnert werden musste. Freundlichkeit und Charme haben das aber ausgeglichen. Tipp: spezielle Ernährungswünsche sollten bei der Reservierung angegeben werden, das gibt der Küche Zeit sich darauf einzustellen.

Ich gehen hier ab und zu hin und bin jedesmal sehr zufrieden über die Qualität des Essens, den Service und Atmosphäre.

Das Essen war köstlich 10/10, der Kellner war perfekt. Ein Mensch, der den Job gerne macht, herzlich aber unaufdringlich. 11 von 10. Das Ambiente war zeitgemäß, nichts Besonderes, teilweise ein bisschen zu dunkel zum Essen (je nachdem wo der Lichtspot hinscheint)

Es war ein richtig schöner Abend, mit grossartigem Essen, tollen Weinen, einer richtig schönen Atmosphäre und mit dem Stüffel Team bei dem man sich gleich gut aufgehoben gefühlt hat. Vielen Dank für alles. Wir werden uns bald wieder sehen.

Wo soll ich anfangen? Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir innerhalb einer Woche gleich zweimal dort gegessen haben. Was für ein Genuss! Die Atmosphäre war fantastisch, das Essen exzellent und die Bedienung einfach großartig! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Sebastian: Er war einfach wunderbar. Er hat unsere beiden Abende noch schöner gemacht. Kein schickes Sternerestaurant, sondern einfach Sterneküche in entspannter Atmosphäre. Wir haben alles rundum genossen. Ich persönlich habe hier das leckerste Steak Tartar meines Lebens gegessen. Und die Amaretto Sours waren so unglaublich lecker, dass wir tatsächlich zu viel getrunken haben. Die Weinkarte ist umfangreich und die Beratung erstklassig. Wenn wir in Hamburg leben würden, wären wir Stammgäste. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Freundlicher Empfang, aufmerksamer und professioneller Service, übersichtliches aber sehr kreatives Angebot an Gerichten, hinter Glas beobachtbares Küchenteam arbeitet sehr gut eingespielt und zaubert höchste Geschmacksgenüsse, gehobenes Preissegment ist durchaus angemessen, kann mich allerdings nicht erinnern dem wohl um 30 Jahre jüngeren Personal gleich das Du angeboten zu haben (?), wenn irgendein seriöser CEO hier für seine große Weihnachtsfeier vorher zur Probe essen kommt könnte ihn sowas vielleicht durchaus befremden...

Waren schon mehrmals hier. Immer sehr lecker, sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung, angenehmes Ambiente, ruhig. Heute ganz besonders lecker: Tatar, Pilz-Consume, Kabeljau, Hirschrücken. Alles sehr raffiniert und extrem schmackhaft.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen zu unserer Weihnachtsfeier hier und es war ein sehr anspruchsvolles Ambiente. Wir waren überrascht, dass die Gerichte in der Karte ganz anders waren als zuvor im Internet gelesen, da die Karte häufiger wechselt. Das Essen war sehr aufwendig zubereitet, war toll angerichtet und wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Entsprechend waren aber auch sehr anspruchsvolle Preise zu zahlen. Wir kommen gern wieder, vielen Dank für den tollen Abend.

Als Tourist am Anreisetag. Schwierig. Umso glücklicher waren wir diesen Wohlfühl Platz entdeckt zu haben. Tolle Atmosphäre. Super Team inkl. Chef des Hauses. Das hat Spass gemacht. Vor allem wenn das Essen noch mit guten Weinen begleitet wird. Wir saßen mit Blick auf die offene Küche. Den Profis zuzuschauen... Das ist besser als Kino. Danke für den wundervollen Abend.

I had dinner here today with my girlfriend, and we were both very impressed with the food. The main course wasn't hot enough for either of us, which was a bit of a shame. It was unfortunately quite loud, even though we were seated in a corner, but we still felt quite comfortable. The waiters were very nice, although they came to our table a little too often for our liking. We were very surprised that they immediately poured us water without asking if we wanted it, and then made us pay for it at the end. Very tasty, but overall quite expensive for a disappointing overall package. Thank you very much anyway.

A nice dinner experience in every way. Nice and very friendly staff, chilled atmosphere and good food. Went for the Schnitzel and as a dessert the tonka creme brûlée. I’m coming back! A big recommend.

It's really good fine dining. The prices are a bit high, but the good quality, taste, and service make it definitely worth it. My highlight: dessert: churros with cream cheese and prunes. I'd love to come back!

As a saxophonist, I've had the privilege of accompanying parties at the Stüffel, or rather on the Stüffel's terrace, several times. I've always had a great time, and the extremely friendly service team has always made me feel very well looked after. Thank you very much!

Favorite restaurant in Hamburg. An open kitchen, very friendly service staff. Amazing food. We were here in 2023 and again in 2025. A varied wine list. Consultations available upon request. Also recommended for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner for two!

We had a really great evening at the Stüffel restaurant and would like to share our enthusiasm. All the dishes were simply great: the baked oyster mushrooms, the ravioli filled with smoked eggplant, the baked pike-perch cheeks, the ruffled tagliatelle and the summer duck - everything was perfectly prepared and tasted great. My wife and I really enjoy coming here and always have a lot of fun with the team and the food. The cuisine is creative and always of a high standard (you can praise the kitchen team for that, by the way, they are approachable for guests), the wines and wine tips have never disappointed us and the ambience is chic, but not too much. That's how it has to be.

Each course (salmon teriyaki as a starter, Husum grass-fed beef tartare with fries as a main course) was a poem and simply beautifully presented. The taste was a dream! Plus, the service was very friendly and the playlist was fantastic! We weren't so keen on the dessert selection, so we had homemade ice cream instead – very delicious. Highly recommended!!

I hoped to be able to agree with the positive reviews, but unfortunately we weren't quite as satisfied. Chris's service was extremely friendly, although his colleague made inappropriate and unfriendly comments several times and really used a wrong tone. Unfortunately, when we were greeted, a wine glass that was standing on a shelf at knee height broke. I apologized politely, but got no response and ended up finding a €20 “expense” on the bill - without any explanation. Only when we asked did we find out that that was the price for the broken wine glass. With a bill of almost €600, it's questionable - at least it could have been mentioned in advance. A schnitzel was also raw, but was immediately replaced with an apology.

I'm still dreaming about the winter duck 🤤🤤🤤 And the tartare...and the crème brûlée! The service was also excellent and the wine recommendation was a hit! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was super good! However, the service staff and the boss were very inattentive. Unfortunately, this clouded the overall picture.

The “Stüffel” is a nice, cozy hot spot in the rooms of the former Goldfisch. A lot has really happened in the location since then. The interior decoration is special, modern and cozy. The guests arrive here pretty early. Even though the “canteen” grill from before is probably no longer here, the kitchen has a very good hand. Our starters were very good. Tartar looks particularly special, the char in top quality and taste. Of course, they did a good job with a small salad off the menu. The 1/2 duck for 2 people rings in the pre-Christmas season well for us. The desserts - rather classic, also solid and really extremely tasty. The location on the water is very nice, the view of Hamburg's canals is simply special. If you want to be on your own, book the room downstairs, as smaller groups can easily be all to themselves. And in summer you can easily book the terrace and hold great events at Stüffel. And the espresso macchiato is completely to my taste. Until the next “Stüffeln”.

The restaurant is well located and tastefully decorated. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The starters were all very good. The cauliflower was especially delicious. The duck was also very tasty, but the side dishes were a bit disappointing, hence only 4 stars.

Very nice atmosphere and good service. However, for this price (main course approx. 35e) the portion size and the taste are not justified. There is something better. Don't get me wrong - the food is good - but for the price you would expect first class. Example: - The Wiener Schnitzel is too thick (approx. 4-5mm. - The tartare is seasoned with soy sauce. Tastes a bit strange. Still a very great service and good drinks! Dessert is fantastic!

We had very nice service, everything was very casual and relaxed. The open view into the kitchen shows how much effort has been put into it. Food was very tasty, especially the hollandaise! A vegetarian main course alternative would be the icing on the cake.

There were four of us, we ate and drank really well and just had an all-round great evening. I can really recommend the Stüffel restaurant to everyone.

Very attentive, relaxed service (many thanks especially to Chris), high quality food and a pleasant, high-quality atmosphere. With the good performance and prices >100€ p.p. for an evening with 3 courses and drinks, in my opinion suitable for an evening in the “treat yourself” category.

Clearly room for improvement. Service intrusive and careless - interrupting conversations at the table and deliberately wanting to be relaxed. Simple order requests were ignored and then dismissed. Food clearly has room for improvement. When it comes to price-performance comparisons, there are more interesting places to start. The wine was good but too warm. Too bad for the place.

For anyone who would like to know briefly whether a visit to Stüffel is worth it: Yesterday we were there for the first time. I had the best service I have experienced in years. Christoph and Sebastian were not only very attentive, but also managed to create a friendly and incredibly pleasant atmosphere. (Yes, I even memorized the names) Great job!!! The food was very well prepared and appropriate for the price. If there were criticism, it would only be at a very high level. All in all: go there if you like good gastronomy🙌🏼

The food was simply excellent. As a larger group, we had different dishes and everyone was thrilled. In addition, the staff was incredibly courteous, funny and relaxed. You just felt very comfortable there. A very clear recommendation.

Solid, very good star food, but there is currently a lack of willingness to experiment. That used to be better. You knew how to conjure up a taste explosion on your tongue with a sweet, creamy soup with sour and hot jalapeños. It also bothered us that the staff had louder, private conversations the whole time. It's nice when you get along well with each other, but it's rather annoying for the guest when eating.

Every time we are allowed to be in Hamburg we like to visit Stüffel and were very satisfied again today. The kitchen wasn't fully staffed, but everything was just right, from the friendly and attentive service to the delicious food. Always my pleasure : )

The manager, Ondrej, was very rude and unreasonable. It is his way or the highway, there is no scope to discuss matters reasonably. I was meant to attend the restaurant on Christmas Day with my girlfriend but I fell ill with food poisoning and spent Christmas Day and the following day terribly ill in bed. It was a horrible Christmas. We called Ondrej on Christmas Day to cancel the reservation hours before we were due to be there. On the phone Ondrej never mentioned the cancellation fee, nor offered for us to eat at another time or for my girlfriend to come and pick up the food because she was not ill. Regardless, Ondrej charged us €50 pp for a €65 pp meal we could not eat. Ondrej was dishonest. We tried to ask for the fee to be waived or reduced because of my illness and Ondrej was not receptive. We wrote a long list of reasons and he ignored them. Ondrej is also a hypocrite because of the justification he gave to another patron, Mi Schwarz (who left a negative Google review), to explain why the restaurant had to cancel their reservation (eg, his staff were sick). Ondrej employs arguments that suit his financial interest (eg, my staff are sick so we had to cancel your reservation at the last minute with no compensation) and then will reject those same arguments when his patrons try to explain their special circumstances (eg, I was suffering from an illness which meant I could not attend). He does not care what reason causes someone to be unable to attend, he will simply charge them a cancellation fee which clearly far exceeds the cost incurred by the cancellation. Unfortunately, Ondrej probably lacks empathy. I would strongly recommend not to eat here because you would be supporting management who is unprofessional and unpleasant.

Een hele fijne plek voor eerste kerstdag. Half zeven aan tafel. Vlotte bediening in een persoonlijke sfeer, niet stijf maar zeer vriendelijk. Mooie eerlijke gerechten, maar wel feestelijke geserveerd. Een hertenbiefstuk op de juiste manier gebakken niet getrancheerd met heerlijke garnituren en lekker saus daar wordt je nou echt blij van, een heel goed dessert met koffie met heerlijke zelfgebakken koekjes van oma. Het was voor herhaling vatbaar.

Reservierung am Vorabend einfach per SMS abgesagt! Ich hatte Wochen zuvor für einen sehr wichtigen privaten Anlass telefonisch reserviert, Bestätigung kam auch nochmal per SMS. Am Vorabend um ca. 22 Uhr (!) wurde per SMS (!) ohne Angabe von Gründen (!) die Reservierung abgesagt (Bild dieser SMS unten). Ich war vollkommen aufgeschmissen und stand nicht einmal 24 Stunden vor dem Event ohne Restaurant da. Extremer Stress und eine komplette Enttäuschung. Nie wieder. Und erst recht nicht zu wichtigen Anlässen. (Edit: ich habe dann vielfach versucht, das Restaurant zu erreichen und habe gefragt, ob das vielleicht ein Fehler ist usw., sowohl telefonisch als auch per SMS. Niemand war erreichbar. Erst am nächsten Tag kam dann eine knappe SMS "es seien viele Mitarbeiter krank". Aus meiner Sicht ist das Verhalten sehr unprofessionell, und damit meine ich im Wesentlichen die Kommunikation und den Umgang mit den Gästen. Dass es Notfälle geben kann, ist klar. Aber von einem Restaurant auf diesem Level darf man einen (wenn möglich rechtzeitigen) Anruf, eine Entschuldigung, ggf. eine Alternative o.ä. erwarten. Und nicht einfach eine SMS ohne Grund um 22 Uhr am Vortag. Auch auf dieser Seite (der der Gäste) hängen Pläne und wichtige Ereignisse an Reservierung.)

Ein tolles Restaurant, hier stimmt einfach alles! Wir waren schon ein paar mal dort und wurden nie enttäuscht.

Tolle, freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr leckeres Essen mit guten Zutaten und eine spitzen Lage... Lauschig im Sommer auf der Terrasse oder im einladenden Innenraum - ein Besuch lohnt sich allemal. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Großartiger Service -super freundlich, locker und zuvorkommend mit dem ein oder anderen Witz, tolles Ambiente - wir saßen auf der schönen Terrasse, leckeres Essen- hochwertig, originell und toll angerichtet. Wir waren mit Kleinkind (1,5 Jahre dort), was fröhlich und zuvorkommend begrüßt wurde. Rundum gelungen! Wir kommen gern wieder und können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen!

Tolle Location und erstklassiger Gastgeber sowieso und dazu ein natürlich-charmant lässiger Service und eine kreativ-leckere Küche. Von den Klassikern bis zu den Empfehlungen: alles auf den Punkt, einmalig interpretiert und soooo lecker! Nichts, was nicht passte! Hier stimmen Preis-Leistung! ❤️lichen Dank für einen zauberhaften Abend! (leider keine Fotos, da wir einfach zu entspannt und begeistert waren) ... beim nächsten Mal.

Leckeres Essen, toller Service,....aber durchaus hochpreisig. Trotzdem klare Empfehlung.

Es ist jedesmal eine kulinarische Erlebnisreise im positivst möglichen Sinn, von traditionellen Gerichten hin zu extravaganteren Kreationen, stets saisonal und regional, herausragend interpretiert und meisterhaft zubereitet. Dies wäre jedoch nichts ohne den unglaublich guten und persönlichen Service. Wenn das Team nicht nur vorgibt sich an einen Gast zu erinnern, sondern dies wirklich tut ohne dass man einmal die Woche zu Gast ist, ist das ganz große Kunst und einfach schön. Vielen Dank Chris und dem gesamten Team für einen mal wieder wunderbaren Abend.
