Berghof Storck - Great Views We have been visiting the Berghof for over 40 years; and it has now definitely seen better times. It is a difficult spot to reach via a narrow single-tracked road, but the location offers great views over East-Westphalia/Lippe. It has 8 double rooms that are minimally equipped, and some rooms have access to a balcony. The hotel suffers from a shortage of staff, and the owner runs a one-man show; he is the cook, barman and manager. Therefore, the bar is only open 17-2200, and the buffet 18-2000. The evening buffet cost €25 per person, but was at best, mediocre. However, it was an “all you can eat” event, but there were no desserts. There is no “a la carte” menu available. The breakfast, however, was very good, a continental breakfast with freshly made scrambled eggs daily. Due to its rural location, there was no internet on site, but we were able to access a 5G network. Payment is by credit card or cash as no debit cards are accepted by the network. The shortage of personnel also meant that there no room cleaning for our entire 3-day stay. The location is ideal for walking and there are numerous routes through the local woods. There is ample parking on site.

Good food, a bit expensive in my opinion, and often very slow to arrive. But always friendly! There are often a lot of smokers outside.

If you want delicious food, you should go somewhere else 😏! Salad swims in vinegar, I use this vinegar to descale the kettle. But the rice had no taste, the meat had no idea what it tasted like...but not good. Gyros inedible, beer and mezzo mix warm. Prices are always fair. I had to go to the toilet and I held back, it was so disgustingly dirty. Staff was at least friendly.

Have enjoyed ordering or eating there so far. It tastes good and the people are friendly. The selection of sushi is great, although the selection of other dishes is not quite as large and is reminiscent of a fast food restaurant. But: The following is slowly starting to seem Spanish to us: First you are asked not to order via Lieferando (that's understandable if you know how much that costs the company), then at some point it closes earlier than the opening times stated - with the justification that none Guests arrived within 1 hour. This is harder to understand because every restaurant is open and waiting for guests. There are restaurants that only open on request - but these are exquisite shops with high prices that mere mortals can't afford; you certainly can't find those in Pivitsheide. However, until recently it was still possible to pre-order and pay by card online. Now, barely 3 months later, only cash payment and no pre-orders are possible. I get the impression that there isn't really any business at all... and that makes me very suspicious of a commercial business. It's a shame, because I love sushi and there's no other delivery service in the area. But given that I only have to pay in cash and don't have the option of pre-ordering for delivery, I'd rather order somewhere else. Answer to the reply: My review is justified - I noticed you negatively several times because they were already closed at 6 p.m. I know a lot of foreign restaurants and none of them CLOSES AFTER 1 to 2 HOURS DURING THE ADVERTISED OPENING HOURS. True, there are a lot of restaurants that only take cash, with the difference being that they have never offered card payment. They had offered card payment or PayPal. Nowadays there are very few reasons why entrepreneurs should insist on paying in cash. Your answer is neither customer friendly nor sincere.

Very tasty! The schnitzel with fresh chanterelles, mushrooms, and hollandaise sauce is fantastic! Everything is fresh and regional! The baked schnitzel is also delicious!
