We went there again for goose, it was delicious and the portion was impressive! It's always a pleasure to go to Stippenhueschen.

We've been coming here for years and are always satisfied. The food is consistently good and the service is always friendly and quick. Finding a parking space isn't always easy, but it's manageable. Reservations are recommended.

A traditional restaurant with rustic charm. Reservations are usually recommended. They accommodate special requests and the service is pleasantly relaxed. However: The breading on the schnitzel is always a bit soggy; I prefer it crispy, and despite a special request, this wasn't accommodated on three attempts. A real shame.

We arrived late, but the kitchen was still open. The service was very good, courteous, and helpful. The starter and main course arrived very quickly, even though we could hear the kitchen preparing the schnitzel. Everything tasted excellent, with attractive decorations and generous portions. How much do you pay €64 for two people with a starter, main course, and hot raspberry ice cream?

Because one of our favorite restaurants with a rustic atmosphere has unfortunately closed its doors forever, we looked for something new. First, the positives. The ambiance and service were good, or rather very good – I would have liked some music. It was actually too quiet for me. Or rather, the focus was too much on the conversations at the next table. But otherwise, I have nothing to complain about. The service was attentive and very friendly. Food: The salad and dressing were super delicious, the fried onions were great, and the fried potatoes were also delicious (although I would have liked a bit more onions. And I don't think there was any bacon in it, unfortunately). The sauce was also good. What I really didn't like, however, was the schnitzel (or rather, there were two, as you can see in the photo). It wasn't homemade; it was a thin, ready-made schnitzel. I was very disappointed about that.

The asparagus and asparagus soup were excellent and of very high quality. We would be happy to return and can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

The two of us stopped at this traditional restaurant in Opladen. A table reservation was necessary on a Saturday. We ordered a cold alcohol-free beer and then decided on a portion of asparagus with boiled ham and hollandaise sauce and 500g of asparagus with melted butter. Potatoes were served with it. The asparagus wasn't tasty but rather a feast for the palate. Although the asparagus spears were very thick, you could crush them with your tongue on the palate and they were tender and tasty and cooked to perfection. Plus a homemade hollandaise sauce and the finest cooked ham. The potatoes were neither floury nor too hard. I have eaten asparagus very often in many restaurants, and this one is certainly one of the absolute best. A cool gaff afterwards, great. The atmosphere is traditional but very clean and tidy. The service deserves an A. You'll be happy to come back here.

An older, traditional restaurant with very tasty food. Good portions, fresh and appetizingly prepared. Everyone will find something when it comes to the selection of drinks. Friendly staff, always courteous. We'd love to come back. I also got along well with a wheelchair. The doors are narrow due to the older building and the path is winding, but it was manageable for me.

I was there years ago and I thought the food and service was better back then. I don't blame the employees, I think they were just helplessly understaffed. Unfortunately, the request for sauce separately from the schnitzel was not fulfilled. They might have remade it, but you don't want to throw away food. I hope they find more employees to ensure the quality of days gone by again

Wir hatten dort eine Feier. Das Essen ist gut, deutsch. Das Personal, wohl extra engagiert, war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Insgesamt ein rustikales Haus mit dem etwas älteren Flair.

Erstmal, es gibt am essen was angeboten wird absolut nichts auszusetzen, super lecker. Allerdings gibt es am Angebot was auszusetzen. Ich bin kein eingestandener Vegetarier oder gar veganer, aber nicht ein einziges vegetarisches Gericht finde ich ehrlich etwas schwach. Service war super nett, hat das ein oder andere verwechselt, war aber auch viel los. Das Ambiente war sehr offen und freundlich, richtig gut. Einen freundlichen Gruß Daniel

Uhriges Lokal mit leckeren Speisen. Service könnte was schneller und ordentlicher sein. Hier gibt es anders als in vielen anderen örtlichen Lokalen, auch Pils und Alt und nicht nur ekeliges Kölsch. Einzig die Parkplatzsituation ist eine Katastrophe. Zumindest eine Handvoll Kundenparkplätze sollte man anbieten

Das Essen hier ist sehr sehr lecker. Es ist gutbürgerlich, zu einem fairen günstigen Preis. Tolle kleine übersichtliche Karte. Für ein paar Euros mehr gibt es die XL Variante. Freitags immer fangfrische Sachen...Familiäres Unternehmen. Viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Innen sieht es halt sehr rustikal aus. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch gemütlich. Muss man mögen.. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ein Lokal wie man es erwartet - gut bürgerliche Küche. Dafür geht man eigentlich auch dahin. (Wir waren Eingeladen.) Jedoch sind wir im Jahr 2023, da kann ich nicht verstehen wieso man nicht ein einziges vegetarisches Gericht hat (ausgenommen von Folienkartoffeln, wo man den Speck weg ließ. Aber sind wir mal ehrlich: dafür braucht niemand essen gehen) Ansonsten waren alle zufrieden mit dem Essen.

Sicher kein Zufall, dass aktuell zwei Personen ( Mr. Blauauge und Frau Hagem.. ) sich zeitnah mit ähnlich despektierlichen Tenor äußern. Beide hatten (zusammen?) offenbar keinen schönen Abend. Wer weiß, woran es tatsächlich gelegen hat, wenn man solche botmäßige Schmähkritik postet. Das hat nichts mit sicherlich auch oft gebotener, sachlicher Kritik zu tun. Noch besser derjenige, der aktuell für jeden vergeblichen Anruf einen Stern abzieht, obwohl er weder im Lokal gegessen noch Speisen außer Haus genossen hat. Moderne Zeiten? Muss man mit solchem bashing leben? Was ist los mit dem Herrn? Nein, in allen Fällen werden Grenzen überschritten. Meine Familie, Freunde und Kollegen/innen sehen das Stippenhüschen als Ganzes: Seit Jahrzehnten wird professionell von Familie Iking und konstantem, überwiegend nebenberuflich tätigem (freundlichem) Serviceteam beste gutbürgerliche Küche im Mittags- und Abendgeschäft dargeboten mit wechselnden Tagesgerichten und saisonalem Bezug. Weiter zu nennen natürlich die Bayerischen Wochen, die Spargelzeit, Fischgerichte freitags und an Aschermittwoch sowie Karfreitag, Gänsegerichte in der Weihnachtszeit und Wildgerichte, Braten, Eintöpfe, Pfifferlinggerichte, hausgemachte Sülzen, die perfekten Hühner- und Rindersuppen und und und.. Welches Lokal in Leverkusen bietet konstant seit vermutet mehr als einem halben Jahrhundert solch abwechslungsreiche deutsche Küche in Leverkusen? Ja, vor Corona war die dauerhafte Karte größer. Da fehlen heute ein paar Schnitzel wie Allgäuerschnitzel, Jägerschnitzel mit frischen gemischten Pilzen, Schnitzel Florentin mit Spinat und Gorgonzolasoße, Schnitzel Mailänder Art. Geschadet hat es dem Lokal aber letztlich nicht. Ohne Reservierung wird es abends schwierig... Und nein, die Saucen, einschließlich der zwei Salatsoßen, werden hausgemacht und jedes Schnitzel frisch geklopft und paniert. Und wenn sich in cremeartigen Saucen mit Sahne auch ein Pulver als Helfer befinden sollte - konjunktiv- , dann ist das nur für den ein Problem, der danach sucht. Die netten und fleissigen Mitarbeiterinnen vom Service erfüllen im übrigen nahezu jeden Gastwunsch, ob Beilagenwechsel, Kombination von Speisen. Selbst vegetarische oder gar vegane Speisen werden auf Nachfrage frisch zubereitet. Für mich, der ich weder am Unternehmen beteiligt noch Beschützerinstinkten o.ä.folge, bleibt das Stippenhüschen hoffentlich noch lange ein Stück (Opladener ) Gastrokultur. Ich denke, dass ich im Namen vieler spreche, die eine gastronomische Vielfalt schätzen und bewahren wollen.

Ach wie lecker, rheinische Muscheln auf Bestellung. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es hat sich wieder mal gelohnt

Dreimal das selbe bestellt. Dreimal was unterschiedliches bekommen. Gut und lecker geht total anders. Restauant kann man wirklich nicht empfehlen, vor allem war es immer der selbe Koch. Dann lieber zu McDonald’s

Seit ca. 30 Jahren geht meine Familie für die sehr guten Schnitzel ins Stippenhüschen. Vor allem das Paprika-Sahne und das Champignon Schnitzel haben es uns angetan. Es gibt auch Bergische / Kölsche Tapas. Das Kölsch ist frisch gezapft und die Bedienung ist flott.

Wir waren auf Grund des sehr guten Rufes dort um Schnitzel zu essen. Das Lokal ist groß und sauber. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und durften uns einen Platz aussuchen. Wie in anderen Restaurants haben wir uns für Aioli mit Brot entschieden. Dies war leider oder zum Glück die einzige Enttäuschung des Abends. Es wurde nämlich eine sehr dicke Majonäse, die mit Knobipulver angereicht war, serviert. Sollte man sich auf keinen Fall bestellen. Nach etwas längerer Wartezeit kamen unsere Schnitzel - Wiener Art und Cordon Bleu. Das Cordon Bleu war sehr schön saftig und nicht ausgelaufen. Weiterhin haben wir noch jeweils einen leckeren Salat und Pommes bekommen. Die Pommes waren sehr gut. Der Salat wurde auch mit einer sehr schweren Majo-Sauce angerichtet. Jedoch hat uns dieser gut geschmeckt und auch ins Ambiente gepasst. Zusammenfassend Top Schnitzel zu einem Top Preis. Wir kommen wieder!

Im vorderen Bereich mit einer Theke. Der Essbereich hat den Charme aus den 1970 er Jahren. Essen ist toll. Traditionelle deutsche Küche.

Zum dritten Mal sind wir nun wieder hier gewesen. Man muss unbedingt mittags reservieren vor allem am Freitag und Samstag Abend, denn da gibt es frische Fischgerichte zum Tagespreis. Sehr zu empfehlen! Der Service ist super, vor allem wird unkompliziert auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen wie zum Beispiel der Tausch vom Beilagensalat zur Hühnersuppe, die übrigens wie auf dem Bild zu sehen nicht aus der Tüte kommt. Wir kommen Immer wieder gerne zu Euch, auch wenn die Parkplatz Situation katastrophal ist.

Ein tolles deutsches Restaurant, wo meine Großeltern gerne hingehen. Ich mag es aber auch gerne. Die Portionen sehr großzügig und es schmeckt einfach! Gute Hausmannskost!

Spontanes Abendessen ohne Reservierung. Alles kein Problem auch mit Rollstuhl, da wird der Nebeneingang geöffnet und wir müssen nicht über zwei Stufen eintreten. OK nun zum Essen. Ganz der Jahreszeit entsprechend gab es auch auf der Sonderkarte verschiedene Gans-Gerichte. Die Gänsebrust war außen richtig Cross dass Fleisch perfekt gegart. Außen hervorragend gewürzt und das Fleisch mit einen wirklich sehr guten Eigengeschmack. Klöße, Bratapfel und dezent weihnachtlich gewürztes Rotkraut qualitativ hochwertig. Jetzt kommt jammern auf aller höchstem Niveau: Etwas Marzipan im Bratapfel hätte ich mir gewünscht..... Als zweites Gericht gab es "Das" Allgäuer Schnitzel mit Röstzwiebeln, Käsespätzle und Salat....Die Schnitzel hier suchen ihres gleichen, !!Pfannenschnitzel!! von sehr guter Fleisch- Qualität und dann der Salat fein geschnittener grüner Salat mit Gurken Mais und und und Wir wurden geschmacklich sehr erfreut das Joghurtdressing war der Hammer. Dann die Überraschung: Tochter ruft an: Ich habe Hunger!! Wir also nachgefragt: Gibt es das auch außer Haus??? Der Service: Ja natürlich wann soll es fertig sein??? Wir waren baff. Aber alles in allem rundet dies den hier gelebten sehr guten !!Kundenservice!! nur noch nach oben ab. Ein perfekter Abend mit absolut sehr Preiswürdigem Produkten Meine Bewertung für :Wie teuer ist das Restaurant müsste für die wirklich außerordentlich gute Qualität die geliefert wird eigentlich "GÜNSTIG" lauten Aber damit keine allg.
