Stella Di Mare in Salzgitter

We had pizza and a few drinks, and it was all quite good. Pizza comes in two sizes: medium and large. Prices are around 10 to 12 euros per pizza, depending on the type. They also have a few pasta, meat, and fish dishes. The restaurant's decor is quite appealing.

I've never eaten such bad "fish." The pieces, fried beyond recognition, were supposed to be sole fillets. Absolutely not recommended. The staff was also very unfriendly. Not even one star.

A very good Italian restaurant. We were guests during a wedding reception. From the festive decoration of the restaurant to the five-course meal, it was an unforgettable experience. The menu was a culinary delight. The very diverse and generous desserts were also excellent. The staff and service were very attentive. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

I don't know where the good reviews come from, and I have no idea who likes it there. Once and never again. The best part of the meal was the masala that came after the meal. The food was completely unappealing. Pasta in a cream sauce. Well, the sauce was just a roux with no flavor or seasoning. Unbelievable that something like that could even be served. Bruschetta appetizer for €5.90. Two slices of homemade white bread with a bit of tomato, and you wonder if there's even garlic on it. Not at all reasonable for the price. You can't really go wrong with pizza, but the price isn't recommended either. Warsteiner beer, no idea how old it was. No carbonation in it, Coke was the same, stale and no carbonation in it. Better go somewhere else. I have no idea how a place like this survives or why people go there. I'll definitely never go back there.

Been there twice. Service and food were excellent. The prices were absolutely reasonable.

Today I was craving tortellini in a cream sauce with ham and peas, along with some pizza bread. The owner was quick to arrive and took my order. After what felt like 10 minutes, I got my food, and it looked good enough to eat. However, there was no pizza bread with it, just homemade white bread. The first bite in my mouth and I lost my appetite because it wasn't even remotely cream sauce, but some kind of flour or bécha flour sauce with no flavor, and the tortellini are cheap, industrial-grade products. There's nothing on the tables outside on the terrace to add seasoning, perhaps only upon request. I paid the owner, who, with a stony expression and a shiny Breitling watch, handed me the bill and left. Maybe I should try a pizza next time I visit.

Our absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Salzgitter for many years. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. The service is always cheerful and always ready to share a good joke. The renovation has greatly improved the ambiance. We highly recommend eating there.

Well-stocked food and drink menu! A freshly tapped König Ludwig dark beer was amazing! I last had it four years ago in Saarland. I ate spaghetti al frutti di mare. It was excellent. All of my companions' dishes, more than ten people in all, were very satisfied.

The restaurant serves very good food. They charge a lot for it. But quality also comes at a price. The seafood tastes very good and is beautifully prepared. It's always worth a visit. The service is also excellent. You speak to the owner, and he tries to accommodate your wishes. The ambiance is very nice, but a bit dated. I'd be happy to come back.

An absolute TOP address in Salzgitter for decades. The restaurant is modernly furnished and has lost none of its cozy flair. There is also a separate room for group events. The quality of the food is great. The selection of pizza and even mussels is very good. The staff is very friendly and loves children. It couldn't be better.

Had reserved a lunch table. Very nicely decorated. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was super tasty. Pizza nice and thin and crispy. Calzone very well filled and covered with a delicious sauce. Tagliatelle with salmon was very good. Salmon, there were big pieces in it. In a fine tomato sauce with garlic. We'll be back! 👍

The restaurant certainly had better times, but all in all it was satisfactory. The only downer was the repeated forgetting of individual orders (there were 12 of us there and the staff was a bit confused, from individual drinks being forgotten to dishes being delivered completely incorrectly. However, the errors were corrected very quickly).

Very tasty food at prices that are absolutely moderate. The interior is a bit old-fashioned, the seating is quite cramped and the furniture is a bit old, but that doesn't affect the enjoyment of the food. The outside seat is covered. Everything clean and well maintained. Service great, fast and always nice. There is no dish that I wouldn't recommend in good conscience. For me the best Italian in Salzgitter and the surrounding area. Thanks to the Stella di Mare team. Edit: When you pick up takeaway you are always offered a Sambucca, the wait is short and the food is hot.

Very good experience. The welcome was warm. Not knowing how to speak German, the waiter calmly let me analyze the menu before taking my order. I actually ordered an excellent Vitello Tonnato which was not on the menu. The seafood spaghetti was excellent and served in quantity. I recommend.

Some time ago we had a celebration here to say goodbye to an employee who had retired. The service is friendly, courteous and very quick about the matter. The starters were good but a little different than what I was used to. The main course came shortly after the starter and the portions were quite large. The price-performance ratio is very good.

Hello, I'm always surprised at how good the food at Stella is.

At Stella di Mare in Salzgitter you can get simple Italian dishes with a good price-performance ratio. The waiters are friendly, but at peak meal time it can take a little longer for them to pay attention to you.

The food is top. The service is really quick and friendly. Except when we wanted a second round of drinks, they took forever to arrive - even though we were seen. The ambience inside could be improved and modernized. Everything was very tight and uncomfortable.

Vegetarian food selections are ok. Starters soup was too salty and didn't look appealing. A new preparation was offered, but I declined. The soup, which only tastes like grainy broth, couldn't get any better. Unfortunately the soup had to be paid for.

The Italian restaurant offers a delicious selection of dishes to tantalize our taste buds. The service is attentive and cleanliness is a must. Unfortunately, the extreme volume spoils the experience as you can hardly understand the waiters. It makes us uncomfortable when you can barely have a conversation in a restaurant.

Certainly one of the best Italians in the BS / SZ and WF area. We ordered the boss's recommendations, which were not on the menu, and were pleasantly surprised. Very good Italian cuisine at absolutely reasonable prices. For us, a "noble Italian" that no one wants to be.

Ich hatte einen Meeresfrüchte Salat. Die Meeresfrüchte waren gummig und der Salat darunter total verwässert. Ein Dressing dazu wäre toll gewesen. Auf jeden Fall noch viel Luft nach oben. Meine Begleiter hatten Pizza und waren damit sehr zufrieden.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von acht Leuten hier rein angefressen, hatten eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte für alle und dann individuelle Hauptgerichte. Die Vorspeisen waren sensationell! Ich hatte als Hauptgericht aus dem Tagesangebot selbstgemachte Spaghetti mit Pfifferlingen und Grünem Pfeffer. Ein Traum. Die Portionen waren sehr großzügig zu einem sehr fairen Preis! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und super schnell. Klar Empfehlung. Wer in Salzgitter gut und nicht Oberreuter Essen möchte, ist hier richtig!

Wir haben uns Abends einen Salat und Tortellini Panna bestellt und abgeholt. Das Essen war ein Reinfall, ich habe noch nie so schlechte Tortellini gegessen als ob das Fleisch darin schlecht war. Mehr als eine Nudel haben wir nicht gegessen. Der Salat war ganz okay aber der Schinken und der Käse eher unappetitlich. Das Dressing hat nach einem Mix aus Mayo und Cocktailsoße geschmeckt.
