The gas station itself is great. The shower and toilet inside are clean because they are paid, but the parking lot was packed and no one cares. Then campers arrive and dump their waste right in the middle of the parking lot and all this stench flows into the storm sewer.

2 stars because they are ripping off customers with foreign exchange rates. Credit card payment was disabled, so we had to pay with CHF cash. The CHF buys even *more* than one EUR at the moment. So I pay CHF 50, and they are charging *ten EUR* or 20% in exchange fees. This is a completely outrageous ripoff and should be illegal in Germany. Staff are friendly and the food was good, so two stars, not just one.

A8 Fahrtrichtung West, Streckenkilometer 187-0I was passing through and stopped at this rest stop. I had read the reviews and paid attention to a variety of things. The staff was very attentive, and the service was great! I was very satisfied with my order. The fried food was freshly made and cooked all the way through. I also liked the restaurant. It was clean and tidy! The prices were a bit higher, but hey, it's a motorway service station, so everything is more expensive anyway. I would definitely come back!!

Friedrichstraße 15Best kebab in Denkendorf. They have the best kebab box I've ever eaten, better than any kebab shop in Ostfildern. You can also tell the staff knows how to make a pizza properly, and I have experience with it. The chicken is a bestseller, although I love the beef.
