Der Ort ist wunderschön und bietet einen spektakulären Blick auf den Rhein. Ich besuche ihn sehr gerne.

Personal ist auch bei viel Betrieb sehr nett und der vegane Flammkuchen ist einfach mega 😍

Leckerer Kuchen, gute Küche, ein gern zu empfehlendes Ausflugslokal. Auch für Gruppen geeignet, nach Voranmeldung.

Leckere Speisen und Getränke. Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Direkt am Rhein gelegen. Früh kommen lohnt sich um besser parken zu können.

„Sehr unangenehme Erfahrung. Der Service war extrem schlecht. Von der gesamten Speisekarte gab es nur Pizza und Pommes. Es dauerte sehr lange, bis überhaupt jemand unsere Bestellung aufgenommen hat, obwohl alle Kellner an der Bar standen. Die Getränke kamen erst nach etwa 20 Minuten, und auf das Essen mussten wir noch länger warten. Auf dem Tisch lagen nur Gabeln und Messer, aber keine Teller. Wir haben den Kellner nach Tellern für die Kinder gefragt, er sagte, dass er sie bringt, kam aber nie zurück. Die Kinder mussten schließlich von den Servietten essen. Als wir bezahlen wollten, sagte man uns, dass ein anderer Kollege kommt, aber wieder kam mehrere Minuten lang niemand. Am Ende musste ich selbst zur Bar gehen, um Bescheid zu sagen, dass wir zahlen möchten. Die Kellner konnten sich nicht einmal einigen, wer für unseren Tisch zuständig ist. Danach konnten sie auch das Kartenlesegerät nicht finden, sodass wir erneut warten mussten. So geht das nicht. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder und können dieses Lokal niemandem empfehlen.“

Moin Zuerst mal teile ich hier nur meine eigene Meinung.... jeder sollte sich seine eigene bilden !! Also das Essen hat wirklich wirklich gut ausgesehen.... Aber von denen meisten männlichen Bedienungen war ich nicht wirklich begeistert.....

Essen fantastisch, direkt am Rhein - wunderschön. Leider war die Bedienung so schlecht, es sind viele Fehler passiert- schade. Da hätte man die Bedienung besser einlernen müssen. Es liegt wohl an der Sprachbarriere.

Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Köstlich. Wunderschöne Aussicht.

Wir hatten reserviert und waren pünktlich da. Es herrschte Chaos und den reservierten Tisch auf der Terrasse bekamen wir nicht. Dann saßen wir drinnen im Bereich der Toilettentür. Bedient wurden wir erst auf zweimaliges Nachfragen. Eine Hauptspeise wurde vergessen und nachgeliefert. Tischbesteck gab es auch erst auf Nachfrage. Insgesamt sehr chaotisch, einzig das Essen war lecker.

Wir waren heute im Steckler‘s. Mein Crispy Burger hat nur nach Ketchup geschmeckt. Absolut nicht lecker. Sie hatten ab einer gewissen Uhrzeit geschlossene Gesellschaft und räumten um, Tische und Stühle und mittendrin die Gäste. Es war laut ungemütlich. Wir werden dort nicht mehr hingehen. Das Team war nicht freundlich, und das Essen leider nicht lecker..

Service Personal unaufmerksam . Auf spezielle Wünsche wird nicht eingegangen . Einen Aschenbecher muss man sich selbst holen . Schatten Platz nicht möglich , da ein umsetzen scheinbar nicht gewollt ist , Tische wären reserviert ... Mich selbst hat niemand gefragt ob ich im Schatten oder in der Sonne sitzen mag als ich reserviert habe . "Neues" Glas mit Lippenstift dran , keine Entschuldigung beim Austausch . Essen gibt es ab 17 Uhr , einige Speisen werden angeboten , aber auch auf Menschen mit Unverträglichkeiten Wird nicht eingegangen . Der Laden ist absolut NICHT zu empfehlen . Einzig die Location ist schön , aber ein anderes Restaurant an diesem Platz wäre wünschenswert .

Essen und Atmosphäre sehr sehr gut, aber die Servicequalität ist sehr schlecht, vor allem wenn es sehr voll ist. Das ist sehr schade, so muss man sehr lange warten, bis eine Bestellung aufgenommen wird, bis einem überhaupt mal die Karte gebracht wird und bis man dann mal zahlen kann. Sie könnten viel mehr (Trink-)Geld machen, wenn der Service besser wäre, d.h. schneller, freundlicher, lächeln wäre auch mal schön - sie sehen alle aus, als hätten sie keine Motivation bzw. keine Lust.

Das Essen war super lecker 😋 Man sitzt schön am Rhein und kann genießen. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist auch in Ordnung Gerne Wieder 😊

Die Lage mit Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf den Rhein ist super. Meine Bedienung war auch kommunikativ und nett. Was ich als störend empfunden habe, war, als eine andere Kellnerin anfing, alle Möbel auf der Terrasse hin- und herzuschieben. Das war unangenehm und laut.

Leckeres Essen und schöne Aussicht

Leider heute keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht. Wir wurden am Eingang statt "Guten Tag" mit den Worten "es gibt nur noch Pommes und Flammkuchen" empfangen. Dann mussten wir lange auf Bedienung warten. Dasselbe dann wieder zum Bezahlen. Es waren zwar sehr viele Bedienungen vor Ort, aber es wirkte alles sehr unstrukturiert. Zudem war die Überdachung eine Zumutung. Dreckig, die Farbe blätterte ab und es waren kleine Spinnen in den Besteckkörben. Sah alles so aus, als wenn noch kein Frühjahrsputz gemacht worden wäre.

Schön gelegen direkt am Rhein, Essen konnten wir leider nicht testen, da wir nach 14 Uhr da waren und da nur eine kleine Karte angeboten wurde. Man sitz schön auf der Terasse mit Blick auf den Rhein.

Schönes Restaurant direkt am Rheinufer. Draußen auf der Terrasse hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Rhein und kann Schiffe beobachten. Der Service war gut und nett. Eigentlich hatte ich mich auf die Oppenheimer Rolle gefreut, aber leider gab es Mittag noch keine große Küche. Der Flammkuchen war aber auch super lecker und schön knusprig! Leider wohne ich nicht mehr in Rheinhessen, sonst würde ich sicherlich öfter kommen! Ich kann das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Wir waren heute dort essen und es war wirklich sehr gut. Ich hatte z.b. einen veganen Burger und ich muss wirklich sagen dass das einer der besten Burger war die ich in der letzten Zeit gegessen habe. Die Pommes waren perfekt Das Ambiente und der Service warperfekt wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend Leider war der beilagensalat sehr stark mit Essig überwürzt, aber weil der Rest so perfekt war gebe ich 5 Sterne und empfehle es gerne weiter ,😊🙏💖

Wir waren Gestern mit unserem EFC dort und wurden herzlich Willkommen geheißen. Die Speisen zauberte bei jedem einzelnen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend.

Urlaubsfeeling pur. Wir waren in der Gegend auf der Erkundungsreise (Oppenheim Katharinenkirche mit Gebeinhaus und Klostergarten), sowie Oppenheimer Innenstadt, und wollten unbedingt an den schönen Rhein. Am sauberen Strand hier kann man als geübter Schwimmer im Rhein auch baden, die Strömung ist nicht zu unterschätzen. Im Restaurant hier saßen wir bei der chill-out Musik draussen, die Getränke und essen waren super, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Besser als mit dem hauseigenen Motto „Futtern wie bei Muttern“ kann man das Angebot nicht umschreiben - keine haute cuisine, dafür aber bodenständige reichliche Speisen, ordentlich zubereitet und ihren Preis wert. Die Küche ist unglaublich leistungsfähig, auch wenn die Terrasse im Sommer voll ist, flutscht der Service. Für das Lokal spricht außerdem, dass es fast immer gelingt, muntere und freundliche Servicekräfte zu finden und auch länger bei der Stange zu halten. Dazu kommt die schöne Lage am Fluss - wir kommen immer gerne wieder. Dass auch mal etwas nicht klappt, ist berücksichtigt, wer in den Krümeln sucht, wird immer einen Anlass finden ……

Wir waren 15 Teilnehmer eines Wichtel Seihnachtsessrns und es war det Beste Tisch und der Service MEGA GUT Das Essen und die Getränke und unsere Sonderwünsche wurden zu unserer VOLLSTEN Zufriedenheit erfüllt... 10 STERNE Perfekter Abend Wir kommen bald wieder und ihr solltet es Euch nicht entgehen lassen, schaut mal rein...

Wir haben unsere Silberhochzeitsfeier mit 40 Personen im Rheinrestaurant gefeiert und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Buffet war reichlich, abwechslungsreich und lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das ganze Team, dass sich rund um die Uhr perfekt um uns gekümmert hat. Herzlichen Dank für alles dem gesamten Team für diese gelungene Feier.

Wir haben im Vorfeld die verschiedenen Komponenten des Essens intensiv besprochen und es wurde ein reichhaltiges, für alle Richtungen üppiges Büffet zusammengestellt. Mit Aperativ, Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Nachtisch und Mitternachtssnack war für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Hervorragende, aufmerksame, immer freundliche Bedienung! Der Gast steht stets an erster Stelle. Sauberkeit lässt ebenfalls in keiner Weise zu wünschen übrig. Das Essen ist wohl Geschmacksache, ich hatte allerdings bei der reichlichen Auswahl noch nichts zu kritisieren. Auf jeden Fall, einen Besuch wert und auch für Gruppen und Veranstaltungen sehr zu empfehlen!

A really decent restaurant in a beautiful location right on the Rhine. The terrace is fantastic in the summer. The food is delicious and offers excellent value for money. The drive there in the dark is a bit adventurous, but not a problem. The location is highly recommended.

The atmosphere is very nice and quiet, the food is perfect both in terms of taste and quantity! It's perfect for almost any occasion, and the staff is very friendly and polite! We always enjoy coming here!

I wanted to redeem a voucher that was issued with no time limit and no date of issue. Unfortunately, the owner refused to accept it, even though the error was clearly evident. Even after pointing out the lack of a time limit, the owner showed no understanding or willingness to accommodate. Very disappointing – in my opinion, this is not how you treat customers who come in reliance on promised services. The voucher was valid for the Nieder-Olm and Oppenheim locations. Without the purchase date and validity period, it's impossible for the customer to determine when the voucher should be redeemed.

Discovered by chance, but I was blown away! Highly recommended; it's a great place to spend an evening, hold a company dinner, or simply enjoy a romantic evening for two. Make sure to make a reservation in advance! The welcome was very warm, and we were shown directly to our table without having to wait. This restaurant pays great attention to ambiance: Especially in the evening, warm lights illuminate both the interior and exterior, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The menu is very extensive, and the value for money is excellent. The restaurant is even suitable for vegans. (The burgers, for example, are all available in vegan versions!) The staff is really friendly and concerned about guest satisfaction. The food arrived very quickly, with no long waits. We waited a maximum of 10 minutes for our food, if that. The quality of the food is fantastic. We haven't had food this good in a long time. (Large portions, but you can also order takeaway if you can't make it!) We're very impressed and have chosen this place as our regular spot. We'll be happy to come back!

Simply good! And that's a complete understatement!

I had a super delicious cheeseburger with a really good wine. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive – I immediately felt at home. And the atmosphere with the view of the Rhine was simply fantastic! I would definitely recommend it 100%.

We loved our breakfast meals. I had the American breakfast and my husband had the Farmers breakfast. We also got a bread basket with delicious bread and rolls. Our waitress was so lovely and accommodating. My husband added a few items to his meal. And after she heard we were celebrating his birthday, she offered us a glass of Sekt. She was really attentive and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything else. Highly recommend visiting Steckler's for a meal! Beautiful view was such a bonus too.

I rarely write reviews, but today I'm taking the time to do so. We went there for breakfast today. We were so impressed. It was absolutely delicious, but above all, I want to praise the service. We've rarely been served so warmly and warmly. A huge thank you again to the lovely waitress with the long blonde hair and the tattoo on the back of her neck. I really wanted to ask her name... but unfortunately, I forgot. She really made our day. We'll definitely be back. Many thanks to the whole team. Keep up the great work.

We went there as a family. The atmosphere is really lovely. I ordered the vegan tarte flambée, and unfortunately, parts of it were still very raw and soggy. Unfortunately, service was extremely infrequent at our table that evening. Perhaps it would be better when it's not quite as busy.

A pleasant stop on the Rhine. Ideal for cyclists. The towpath is currently partially closed due to wild boar plague. Please note this when approaching!

The waiter assigned us a table. I put my bike helmet on the table to go and get my wife. When we returned, the table was cleared, and my helmet was somewhere on the sideboard. The second waiter I spoke to said he needed the table and I should find another one in the packed restaurant. In my opinion, this is unacceptable behavior toward a guest who has always returned. We then left.

The food was abysmally bad and very expensive. I have no idea where all the positive reviews come from. The sweet waitress with the amazing piercings, on the other hand, was a dream. She did her work with a lot of love and heart.

Difficult: the drinks arrived halfway through the meal, the tables weren't completely clean, and it gets very busy when the weather's nice, probably because of the campsite next door. The food is edible but lacks flavor (pre-packaged foods).

No-go! The Aldi ready-made pizza was topped with a thick layer of ready-made sauce, then covered with an excessively thick layer of cheese. I feel sick! Google information: When you can return the food or refuse payment: Objective defect: If the food is objectively defective, e.g., the wrong side dishes were delivered or the quality is poor, you can refuse payment.

The location is really good, and so is the view. Otherwise, it seems dated. The service was okay. However, one employee seemed like she was about to fall asleep. Since we were there in the afternoon, there was only a small menu. The fries were okay, with a few black fries.

In good weather, it's a wonderful place to relax right on the Rhine. The dishes we ordered at Stecklers Restaurant were prepared almost perfectly. The steaks, in particular, were exceptionally good and highly recommended. The owners responded to our feedback in a very cooperative and professional manner.

A nice spot right on the Rhine. It's beautifully situated for a break, for example, during a bike ride. However, it's often busy, so reservations are worthwhile. The food is good and the service is outstanding. I haven't been served this well in a long time. (I've been here several times.)

A fantastic restaurant! We cycled along the Rhine and took advantage of the opportunity to camp overnight here. Even though the place was packed, we received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a little slice of Hessian Tuscany with excellent food. Highly recommended.

Very nice ambiance, very friendly waiters 👍👍 the service was top-notch 👍 but the food itself wasn't my thing. 2 small minute steaks made of quite dry meat. I wasn't really full, which is a shame. The potatoes, cut with the skin on as fried potatoes, weren't my thing. The salad with a lot of cabbage and 2 half leaves of coleslaw and some arugula wasn't any better...and 15.80 for that is borderline, I think. There are cheaper and better restaurants in the Palatinate 🤷‍♂️ sorry, I don't need that again.

I can only recommend it. The staff is super friendly, quick, and accommodating 👌🏻 You have a beautiful view of the Rhine. We ate there for the first time today. My wife had a schnitzel that was second to none for the price. Really tasty and a pretty large portion. The side salad was also really good. I had a steak. It was good, but for around €28, I have to admit, I expected more flavor. Maybe more pepper and salt next time. Otherwise, given the size (300g), it's a really good chunk. I highly recommend it. Afterward, you can relax on the beach below. 5 stars for me, all in all 👌🏻

Great service, great, delicious food! We'll be back

We visited here today. The terrace was occupied by ten people and there were four waiters. We waited forever until someone came. Waited forever for a follow-up order. We were ignored. There wasn't a menu beforehand either. We looked at what we wanted on the internet (it took ages to be served) and ordered accordingly. We were very shocked. We didn't get a proper bill, just a number. We were asked what we were having and then the price was given to us. Prices differ enormously from what is stated on the internet. Unfortunately, everything isn't as good as it used to be under the previous owner. I can understand why no one comes anymore. It's a shame, especially when it comes to the prices and service. A menu is displayed in front of the restaurant and the prices are much cheaper than online but still much cheaper than what is charged at the end. You should definitely ask for the menu and the bill before paying and compare prices. If we go again, it will be only like this.
