Nice steakhouse with delicious schnitzels. Choice of small or large, well baked, you can choose from different sauces. Good salad bar. Friendly employees and good service. Recommended.....

It's not for nothing that there is such an influx there. I always enjoy going there with family or friends.

It was our first time there and it was a nice trip down memory lane. Everything inside looks very cozy like in the good 80s/90s. The staff is very friendly and there is a great atmosphere. Now to the most important thing about the food, it simply tastes good. Not overly seasoned, you could taste fresh tomatoes and everything was cooked to perfection. The prices are fair and so it certainly won't be the last time. Thank you for a nice evening.

The food was quite good - but unfortunately not anymore. Everyone's meat was way too cooked and the salad buffet was practically empty (no lettuce at all). The additional point when it comes to food is the very generous portions at a reasonable price. When it came to service, there was a deduction for the somewhat unmotivated manner, forgetting which hand carried which cooking level (which didn't matter because all the steaks were well done) and that the orders were placed at the head of the table despite there being enough space. We then had to pass around plates and glasses ourselves. That's completely OK. if the service person doesn't come by... but in this case there was plenty of space.

Everything is good here, simple but still super tasty.

During our holiday at Resort Arcen we had the chance to eat at Steakhouse WALBECK in Geldern, and it was a fantastic experience. We opted for the steak platte, and both the quantity and quality of the food were impressive. The meat was perfectly prepared and the side dishes were plentiful and flavorful. For such high quality, the prices were remarkably competitive, which made it even more attractive. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Even though our German isn't great, that wasn't a problem at all. They speak excellent English, which made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended for people staying at Resort Arcen: the steakhouse is only an 8-minute drive away. You can not only eat on site, but also pick up meals or have them delivered to your holiday home. In short, a great culinary experience at an excellent price. Definitely worth 5 out of 5 stars!

Very busy service therefore quick and rather overwhelmed. 5 out of 6 people eat food above cooking point. It's better to have a slightly smaller portion so that you have more time for each dish.

We were there at lunchtime today and it was really the first time that I have to write that my food wasn't good at all. The fries and the turkey steak were literally floating in a liquid in the water. Think almost of frozen vegetables. I don't know, you couldn't eat. I mentioned it too but no response. That wasn't okay and we've been there many times. Not anymore for now. That was a wrong reaction from the boss. We wanted to make a reservation for next week. Too bad.

Traditional restaurant with tasty schnitzels. Unfortunately, when I got home I discovered that I had paid 6 euros too much: apparently an order from another table had been charged to our account. Too bad, next time no tip! 😪

Goede schnitzels, ouderwets degelijke inrichting, gedateerd. Personeel vriendelijk en prettige prijzen. Wel moest ik toen ik thuiskwam bij het bestuderen van de rekening constateren dat ik teveel had betaald : een door ons niet genoten gerecht (andere tafel?) was aan ons doorberekend. Jammer.

We come there regularly. The food is still good at a really fair price. Nothing wrong with that. We like to come here even though it is very busy and without a reservation it becomes difficult. Still, if you walk in there spontaneously, they will try to help you. Super. But the last 2 times a somewhat strange feeling happened to us. It seems like something has changed. Even though we cannot say exactly what causes that feeling. Ooooo yes, just a tip. If you can't get a seat, they also deliver the food to your home, even across the border. With a maximum distance of 10 km from the steakhouse.

It sounds stupid, but the portion is too big, the toilet can't be closed and it has the character of a motorway service station.

We ordered: 1.Champions with cream sauce 2.Detlef plate. Doner kebab meat with onions and peppers 3. Insalata Capriccosa 4. Tsatziki Dressing I don't know what was the best or worst meal? To 3: Salad almost without seafood and dressing. Regarding 2: the best thing was the fries. Salad dry and meat (approx. 50 gr.) dry and without taste. To 1. ...without words....champions drowned in sauce and almost no cheese.... Regarding 4. You can't do much wrong. 29.50 for.....nothing. Once and never again.

Our first visit for my husband's birthday. The steaks were grilled perfectly. I've been living in Germany for 30 years and this is the first time I've had my steak cooked in a truly English way and also eaten it spicy. Generous portions. Very nice service. Thank you very much and we will definitely come back. The only downside – parking in Walbeck is a disaster.

Great steakhouse with a large selection. There are also great dishes on the senior menu for those with smaller appetites. A lunch menu is also offered. The huge selection doesn't make it easy sometimes. But! Never been wrong with the selection, the food has always been on point. Prices within a manageable range. It is now one of the regular bars and is also regularly visited on motorcycle trips.

Always great food, have been there many times and the steaks and other dishes are really delicious. Super large portions and a salad buffet that is always fresh. Prices are also completely reasonable. In my opinion the restaurant needs renovation as it is very old fashioned. It can also be that it is very crowded as always and therefore you only get a very small, uncomfortable table in a small corner. Nevertheless, I would always go there again.

Food & service were convincing. Despite the room being full, we were served quickly and friendly and empty glasses didn't go unnoticed for long. The portion was more than enough, even for the hungriest among us. Furthermore, the food was very tasty. The toilets were also clean and there was disinfectant for the toilet seats.

The outside area was just being prepared. We were still able to have a drink in the sun. Nice and friendly staff. thumbs up

Weekend Klein Vink Arcen en dan verken je de omgeving. Wij kwamen uit in Geldern. Lunch bij dit restaurant. Tot onze verbazing kregen wij bij het door ons bestelde gerecht ook nog soep. Daarnaast mochten wij gebruik maken van het salade buffet. De bediening was vlot en heel vriendelijk. Na het afrekenen kregen wij warempel ook nog een "snapsch" van het huis. Inclusief drank en fooi waren wij met 2 personen €33 kwijt. Het restaurant was wel gedateerd, maar dat heeft ook zijn charmes. Top! Wanneer U in de buurt bent. Wij raden U dit restaurant aan.

Good thick schnitzels for a low price.

The food is very good and tasty, large portions, the service was very friendly. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, there were a lot of guests, so it was very loud. What is unfortunately a negative point is the parking situation, there are definitely not enough parking spaces and I feel sorry for the neighborhood.

We had a nice meal, sitting quietly at a relatively small table. The portions are large enough for a good eater. It tasted fine, but my wife's stomach reacted negatively afterwards. No idea what caused it. She may have reacted to the oil the mushrooms were fried in... In any case, the rest of the family had no problems. The bill wasn't too bad for us. We expected more. Personally, I thought it was a shame that the Spareribs are only on the menu on Tuesdays! 😞

We ate delicious spare ribs, perfectly cooked and were therefore eliminated from the offer. Not as in the Netherlands, but with a tasty gravy on top. Friendly staff and a neat salad bar
