Excellent service, kind and professional personnel. Steaks were amazing, very soft and rich in flavour. Huge portions and reasonable prices.

Nice food. Unfortunately we were surrounded by couples that were complaining about everyting or having arguments together. Can't blame the restaurant ofcourse. Next time better. We will for sure come again.

Typically German, generous chunks of meat for a modest price. Even the "smaller" senior portions aren't everyone's cup of tea! Surprisingly, 80% of the customers are Dutch. Definitely worth a visit.

After all the good reviews, we were unfortunately disappointed. They say it's always busy and that you need to make a reservation. However, it was very quiet, especially on a Friday. We didn't feel very welcome either. The food wasn't bad. After dinner, you get a schnapps. The waiter had knocked one over, but we didn't get a new one. Never mind. It's all a bit strange. I can't quite put my finger on it.

It took a very long time for the soup to arrive. The next meal took a while, too. The fish was fried afterward. Afterward, the food was delicious. The service and food were significantly better before the renovation.

As guests of the Roompot Klein Vink holiday resort across the Dutch border, we dined at the Walbeck Steakhouse on our first evening. The excellent food and friendly service so impressed us that we had the restaurant's food delivered to the resort on the following two evenings. And this, too, was to our complete satisfaction (complete, warm, on time, and meticulously packaged). Thank you so much!

The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Unfortunately, our reservation was ignored, and the service was rather abrupt. But that wasn't true for everyone!

We spontaneously ordered food there today and picked it up ourselves as campers. The lady was friendly on the phone. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the timing today, as it was a Friday evening at 6 p.m. It was a real stress situation. The meat was undercooked in places. With 29 degrees Celsius today, that's just not possible! The portions were too huge in my opinion; I would have preferred better quality. The fries and fresh, homemade salad were GREAT! 1 star ⭐️ Maybe the food on site would have been better, but we were just passing through. What a shame, a complete disappointment.

The food is always great. I've been there many times, and the steaks and other dishes are truly delicious. The portions are super-large and the salad buffet is always fresh. Prices are also perfectly reasonable. It can get very busy at times, which can mean you only get a small, uncomfortable table. Nevertheless, I would go back again anytime.

I can definitely recommend this steakhouse. We didn't have a reservation, but the staff still managed to find us a nice table. They also have a full menu of dishes for seniors. It's no problem to swap sides, and the portions are perfectly adequate.

Very nicely cooked schnitzel and steak plus very accommodating hostess. Decor was a bit outdated and quite hard to get a parking spot unfortunately. Didn’t really dampen the overal experience though. Definitely recommend and would go again. Also the salad bar was great too!

The Steakhaus Walbeck is a real tip; here you always get first-class, friendly service and a large selection of delicious dishes at moderate prices. Also worth mentioning is the extensive and always fresh salad buffet. We always enjoy coming here.

We had eaten here a few years ago in the evening and we liked it so much that we wanted to go back again, years later. We have no regrets. We ate here a few times during our holiday week in Limburg. The portions are large and the choice is huge. AND .... The food is delicious. Another advantage is that you can order senior portions of the main courses. That is really nice. My wife and I are getting on in years and don't eat as much as we used to and then those senior portions are a godsend. The prices here are very normal and low compared to the Netherlands. In short, good and friendly service, good atmosphere, lots of good choices and delicious food. We will definitely come back here. There is also a small playground - garden for children if you cross the road diagonally. Another plus if you are with children.

Ate the seasonal menu with asparagus and schnitzel here. Unfortunately the asparagus was barely cooked. Overcooked. The interior is quite old fashioned for my taste. But fast service.

Good value for money, tasty and plentiful. Steakhouse WALBECK, a diverse selection of dishes, fresh salad buffet and even a delivery service. We were guests at the WALBECK steakhouse again on a short trip and once again full marks. The food is super tasty and everyone gets enough here. Very friendly team in a typical inn with Balkan flair. If you're hungry, are in the area and don't feel like going to a "fancy gourmet temple" - you'll find an "honest" restaurant here. We look forward to your next visit!

Tasty cordon blue and salad bar, but the fries were not that tasty. The asparagus was also not cooked enough for our taste. And the mayonnaise had to be paid for separately. Not really fancy. No recommendation from me.

In particular, the schnitzel with fries you offered did not meet our expectations at all. Both schnitzels were only lukewarm and gave the impression that they had not been freshly prepared. The presentation of the food also left a lot to be desired - everything on the plate seemed carelessly prepared and not very appetizing. However, I would like to positively highlight the salad, which tasted the best in comparison. We were looking forward to a pleasant lunch, but were disappointed by the quality and overall impression of the food. Ate here with my husband last Tuesday during our holiday. We have eaten many schnitzels in Germany but this one was super tasty, we both had schnitzel with ham, mushrooms, hollandaise sauce and melted cheese served with fries. You could grab your own salad from the salad bar. Friendly service and some snaps after dinner. If you are in the area, this is highly recommended!

The ambience and furniture are cozy, but clearly showing their age. Salad buffet is standard, but in the passage of the entrance. Service is nice, food comes quickly, but the food has little to do with my expectations of a steakhouse. For example, the Cordon Bleu looks like a frozen dish, tastes okay, but doesn't justify the price, the same applies to the side dishes (potato rostis and imperial vegetables). Other dishes such as the grill plate seem very carelessly prepared. Drinks, at least soft drinks, are served in 0.2l glasses. Ice cubes don't fit in these, but the drinks are still lukewarm.

Schnitzels were very good. However, I would have liked fresh onions for an onion schnitzel and not dried ones from a can. Unfortunately, there were no fresh ingredients for the mushroom schnitzel, but canned mushrooms. Unfortunately the fries were unseasoned. The service, well. Salad was fresh and tasty.

I will stop by again when I'm in the area

Ate here again yesterday, but this was a disappointment. I had a Haus skewer where the meat had been grilled for far too long, a dry bite. My wife had a gentleman steak, which was also fried for far too long, tough and dry. Furthermore, it was disappointing that there was a yellow, tasty sauce with the meat, which only made it worse. You can easily eat a Schnitzel here, but I would not dare to try the rest of the menu. 70 euros poorer and a disappointment richer😭

The service was impeccable, the food was plentiful, very tasty and the price was right. There are parking spaces in front of the house, but in our case they were all occupied. The ambience was well maintained but was showing its age. But that didn't detract from the quality and good taste of the food. Conclusion: Absolutely recommended

We are regularly at the parking space in Walbeck and like to use the delivery service. Food always arrives hot, quickly and super tasty! Supplements come packaged separately and are therefore e.g. the fries were nice and crispy and not drowned in the copious sauce. We've also been to the restaurant and there's also the salad bar and the friendly and attentive service is top notch. We would love to come back...

Ich hatte mich richtig auf mein Essen gefreut. Jetzt in der Weihnachtszeit, Gänsekeule... Doch ich wurde enttäuscht. Selten habe ich so schlecht gegessen. Fleisch war Babynahrung. Haus war ein glibriges etwas. Rotkohl kein Geschmack und Babynahrung. Soße aus der Tüte, einfach nur schrecklich. Knödel hätte ich gegen die Wand schmeißen können wären bestimmt zurück gekommen. 2-3 mm weich dann alles fest muss richtig fest mit Messer drücken um den Knödel zu teilen. Nicht zu empfehlen. Von Preis- Leistung möchte ich an dieser Stelle gar nicht mehr sprechen. Mit viel Sarkasmus würde ich dann lachen. Auch die anderen Gericht die am Tisch serviert wurden einfach nur ein Katastrophe. Schnitzel in altem Fett gebraten. Die Zwiebeln waren Kaugummi. So war habe ich noch nie erlebt. Jeder Cent war einer zuviel. Grauenhaft.

As has often been the case, food was ordered via delivery service and there was a misunderstanding when ordering over the phone. Less than 30 minutes after the complaint, a subsequent delivery with several additions as an apology. With a delivery distance of more than 5km, this is quite remarkable.
