Star Döner in Oldenburg (Oldb)

The Döna Pita bag was prepared in front of my eyes but was still ice cold. How do you do something like that?

My visit to star Döner was absolutely disappointing and unacceptable. The kebab I ate there was not only tasteless but caused me serious health problems. The lack of hygiene and substandard ingredients left me feeling sick and showing signs of food poisoning after consuming it. What happened to me in this store is irresponsible. I strongly advise against visiting StarDöner to avoid similar unpleasant experiences.

It's fit but there are better kebabs but in the summer you can sit outside well but €9 is rather expensive for the contents of the Dürüm

Once and never again. My very disappointing experience report from September 4th, 2024 (approx. 8:00 p.m.). This kebab shop absolutely doesn't live up to its name, it has nothing to do with a star kebab. I ordered a small kebab, I have rarely received such a bad kebab. The bread was hard as a rock and of course, as happens with the first bite, everything fell apart. The cocktail sauce tasted like it was bought, the salad was dry and old. The meat, the only positive factor, was a normal run-of-the-mill rotisserie, so you can't go wrong with that. The service, if you can even call it that, is very poor or non-existent. The person serving us smoked outside and finished smoking without comment or apology, there was no greeting. In addition, our hands were not washed after smoking and our food was prepared that way. After eating, we brought dishes to the front, but no thanks were given, and there was no response to a "you're welcome." I'm also waiting until today for a farewell, like goodbye, etc. So to conclude, this shop only benefits from his Location and its opening times In my opinion this shop has no right to exist, the sole purpose is to make profit from drunk people on the weekend. With a location like this you could do so much better with it, a huge waste of potential.

The meat is somehow sad and one or two employees might be helped by hygiene training from elementary school.

Even a star is more for this restaurant, they're not checking the meat before cooking it . The meat was with not good cooking and not clean .Bad try.Not do it again.

Very tasty meat, the salad tastes fresh, hardly any waiting time and the employees are very friendly.

Aren't you ashamed of your prices? Seriously. And then sooooo bad food in return... Please close the place.

Lamacun was tasty, but for 8€ the toppings were pretty poor...

I got a pommrotspit box but got a vegan rotisserie box, he didn't even understand German, an iced tea costs €3.00 and the rotisserie box didn't taste good either

The worst kebab I've ever eaten in Germany is here. It was an ice cold one and there was very little meat in it. Definitely never again!!!!!

It's just a "Star Döner" and not a "5 Star Döner". Please note that these are only rotisserie spit. No kebabs. The name is misleading, the quality is low. Better go 2-3 houses further.

Worst kebab I've ever had. Bread completely fell apart, neither the meat nor the sauces were edible.

The vegan kebab would definitely have been very tasty - unfortunately it was completely cold. A pity.

Food was super tasty and ready very quickly. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The food is pretty much the worst I've ever eaten anywhere... and I know a lot of restaurants and snack bars. Simply poor quality. No matter whether pizza or kebab. And the price isn't exactly cheap either

A friend of mine ordered a kebab (Rollo), paid for Rollo and didn't get it.

Unfortunately Rollo was very cold and had to be put in the microwave. Rollo itself was okay in terms of taste, but really not recommended for €8. There are much better options nearby. Update: lying flat with stomach pain.

We each ordered something different... they ordered a box with just chicken and sauce. I had one with beef and fries and gravy. We didn't even eat half of it because we felt bad. Today we are still feeling bad. She vomited several times and we still complain of nausea today. I've also heard from close friends that they probably smoke in the kitchen (which I can't confirm) but still had a bad experience and struggled with consequences. The service was good and the people were nice. A small water bottle is supposed to cost €2... I got it for €1.50 but it still wasn't justified.

Friday 1-2 a.m.: I gave the guy a 10 for the Dürüm, was immediately said goodbye, without any change. Dürüm half full. Stable.

We had a Dürum and an XXL currywurst with fries. Dürum very little meat, the currywurst was totally wobbly, only the mayo was XXL. Both tasted pretty low. Never again

It's ok if you want to get something to eat quickly to just be full.

The small kebab for €5.50 is really quite small, the sauces are based on mayo and ketchup and the meat is average. The only advantage is the nice service on the day and the salad is also quite fresh. I would recommend another shop but it's bad there too not.

They cook very nice and delicious food.

I can only recommend Star Döner 🙂. The meat tastes very tasty and the flatbread is very crispy just like very fresh rolls from the bakery🤤 really delicious. The ambience is also very pleasant. I really enjoy eating here with my colleague, even if it takes almost 30 minutes to do so. It's always worth it 🙂👍.

Stani-Döner. Relativ teuer für eine kleine Portion. Auf den Hocker im Lokal kann man nicht sitzen, man rutscht die ganze Zeit herunter.

Habe definitiv schon viel bessere Döner gegessen. Da war nicht viel Geschmack dran.

Wir kommen so oft, dass wir gar nicht mehr sagen müssen was wir wollen, man kennt uns. Extrem tolle Menschen und die beste dönerbox und pommes in ganz Oldenburg.

Der Döner war lecker, aber aufgrund der Lautstärke fühlte man sich gestört. Das Dönerfleisch war nicht wirklich warm.

Super Döner, nettes Personal, kostet 7 Euro (und deswegen nur 4 Sterne) aber sonst... Top.

Schneller Döner für zwischendurch ... Kann.nichts negatives sagen, Geschmack gut , Preis auch gut.Zentral gelegen mitten in der Innenstadt nahe am Lappan

Hatte einen Hähnchendöner, der war leider nicht so dolle. Das Fleisch war irgendwie matschig, gefühlt gerade so durch.

Nicht gut, aber ziemlich teuer. Das Fleisch hat viele große Knochenstücke enthalten, ich würde den Betreibern dringend empfehlen den Zulieferer zu wechseln.

Schneller Service, Preisleistungsverhältniss ist super. Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Had a Klein Donor for 5euros, it's worth for the amount.

Ich war dort. Und muss sagen dass der Döner schmeckt. Doch das Problem ist, dass es für den Preis sehr wenig Fleisch gibt und der dürüm war sehr kalt. Ich habe im dürüm nur Salat gegessen als Fleisch. Fand ich nicht so gut. Und würde auch nicht mehr dort essen. Vor allem der dürüm Brot ist sehr klein. Lohnt sich nicht, wenn man groß Hunger hat.

Eigentlich Selbstbedienung, uns wurden die Speisen an den Tisch gebracht und anschließend sogar abgeräumt. Sehr lecker, sehr freundliches Personal - jedoch am Tsatsiki könnten sie noch arbeiten, schmeckte einfach nur nach Quark
