Standard Pizza Mitte in Berlin

This is the BEST pizza in Berlin. Truly authentic Italian, amazing dough and tangy delicious marinara. I’ve tried a few others in the city and this is BY FAR the best. Thank you to Lorenzo for his service and to the pizzaiolo for his artistry. PS - I’m Italian - this is my religion.

I haven't been to Standard in a while. Why not? It's still a great place for pizza.

Amazing beer. I would say it's one of my favorite beer bars in Berlin.

Fantastic pizza and really nice atmosphere at a good price. I’d recommend for locals or travellers. My partner had a pepperoni esque pizza and I had a fennel sausage special which I’d highly recommend.

Great pizza only problem was a long waiting time but the place was quite full.

Here's the thing about this place: the pizza is genuinely good. That Marinara was solid. But the service needs work. Friday night, busy restaurant - we get it. They seated us and took our order quickly enough. Then we waited 55 minutes without any updates. We watched plenty of deliveries go out while our table sat there. When we finally asked about our order, they just said "They're in the oven." What this means is the food arrived when we were pretty much over it. The pizzas were still tasty, but we ate quickly and headed out. Bottom line: good kitchen, disorganized service. The food quality is there, but they need better communication with dine-in customers.

The pizza here was ohhhh sooo goodd. This place is always packed so food arrives a bit late and you sit super cram in the outside tables next to each other but it’s all worth it in my opinion ♥️

For sure one of the top 3 pizza in Berlin! Maybe the best? In any case this is a great gourmet napolitan pizza with excellent ingredients and techniques. Also nice selection of italian wines. The location and the staff are also really good and they have an incredible looking oven. Bravi! A presto

I had the Porcinambur (Porcini mushrooms, buffalo mozzarella, parmesan cream, Jerusalem artichoke chips, truffle oil, chives). Quite honestly the best pizza I've had in years. Dough was delicously chewy, toppings beautifully balanced. Not too truffly. Mushrooms were very fresh and perfectly cooked. Almost ordered a second to takeaway for breakfast. Highly recommended.

They got what I ordered wrong. However, it's the best Neapolitan pizza I've ever had.

Great pizza, weird service putting us on a table that wasn’t big enough for our meals and unpleasant road to sit on to eat, even in the evening. Server seemed to feel like it was our problem to not be able to sit around a table that we’d booked ahead?

We decided to eat here completely spontaneously and were lucky to get a seat. Very tasty pizza. Service was also okay. The restrooms could be improved. Prices could be a bit cheaper...

I recently visited there for the third time. The only vegan option (marinara) is no longer even listed as vegan on the menu and has since been "spiced up" with, among other things, olives (so it's not a classic marinara). It was really delicious, but simply very expensive. It was even more expensive than a margarita, even though it's cheeseless... However, the amazing oregano is only listed for the marinara on the menu 😀 probably to justify the price... Service was below average on all three visits. Conclusion: You don't get enough for the high prices. The atmosphere and service are nothing special. No vegan side or dessert options, and only one pizza, which for some inexplicable reason isn't even labeled anymore.

Pizza are always tasty BUT price is getting so high that it reaches Paris or London levels, service is non-existent. When we arrived, the waitress was with her earphones preparing the boards with the specials of the month and she did not told us about the lunch offer (we knew so we asked for it). We took ourselves the spicy oil from the shelf.

Fix your hours for when the kitchen is open.

Ordered the Kill Bill special pizza and it was in the top 3 pizzas I’ve had in my life. Tried two other types as well from friends and also incredible.

Really delicious pizza🍕. Friendly service, nothing to complain about. You can also sit comfortably here. The prices are a bit high, of course, but nothing unusual for this type of pizza.

unfortunately the staff is very rude.. i tried their pizzas in Charlottenburg and Kreuzberg earlier and visited Mitte today, did not eat since the staff told us ‘they dont serve over there’ when the whole restaurant is empty and she did not even bother to come and check with us

Food is ok, but not to be that expensive. Ok just to sit with friends. No uniqueness The most annoying part is that we've been waiting a whole infinity to pay for our food and had to remind that we are waiting like 3 times

The service was rather chaotic; there were no knives, only scissors... The food was good, but the Margherita could have been a bit spicier. The chairs are very uncomfortable, and the tables wobble. I would recommend takeout rather than eating in.

The food is really bad and overpriced. The pizza’s have hardly any toppings and mostly tastes like bread. It used to be good 2 years ago but now its just terrible. The other location of the standard pizza is still good.

I fancied a pudding so popped in here and just had the Calzone Chocolate and a glass white wine. Lovely date ambiance but also nice with music and earphones.

The pizza was extremely tasty, and the selection also impressed with its variety and variety. The service was okay, but the ambience was rather simple and unspectacular.

Just went there to have dinner, it was amazing! They have a couple of antipasti options, but the whole menu are pizzas, all of them carefully thought. The best pizza I ate in Berlin! You can see the pizzaiolos work which is really nice, they also have a really nice selection of wines. I had the pizza Porcinambur, I haven’t tried anything like it in a long time, I would definitely recommend it if you go! The waitress, Alba and Alexa, were the best! They had such nice vibes and good recommendations for the menu, plus they were putting such good songs on the speakers…A place definitely worth visiting if you’re ever in Berlin

We came in the evening without a reservation, the place was packed but luckily they had two free spots at the bar by the window (facing the terrace/street) inside. It was quite hot and loud inside, but we didn’t mind at all, it only added to the experience. Our waiter was really nice and chill, didn’t have to wait too long for anything. The pizza was delicious. We had New York, New York (9/10, a bit too much oregano on top) and the one with spicy salami and honey (9/10) – this one was very good, the touch of honey was delicious, but be prepared that it really *is* spicy hot.

We appreciated that the waiter made an effort to quickly find us a table though overall service was quite chaotic. Overall pizzas were good, the dough and the amount of toppings were nice. Though the calzone felt a bit too doughy and cheesy for us. Loved the olive bread bowl. The restaurant is fairly small, I would recommend booking a table.

Super delicious pizza! Open kitchen so you can watch the pizza maker. The service staff was very attentive and nice, typically Italian. It's a bit noisy inside as it's just a small open space and you only sit on stools, no comfortable chairs.

We were in the store on a Sunday at around 6:00 p.m. The store was full. We were assigned seats against the wall - on a stool. Everything OK. The pizzas cost €16 and more. We ate quickly and were outside again after 75 minutes - we were informed that our seats were reserved from 7:30 p.m. The pizzas were all very good. However, I had the feeling that you were being processed rather than being served. The store seemed to be very popular and there were a lot of people (mostly younger than me) crowding into the store. I won't be going back there for a while. Maybe again in a while when the store is no longer hip. If you don't need a lot of space when eating, you might like this shop.

Maybe the best pizza I've ever eaten 🍕 The edge has such a fluffy consistency that I'm still raving about it 🤤 What excites me about good pizza are the little details: good olive oil on the table, perfect balance of ingredients (in this case truffles; not too much, not too little) 🙏🏻 10/10, highly recommended 👏🏻

Not even that cool. One pizza was burnt, the next one of the same kind came 5 minutes later and was still very pale. The trick with the dips to create a dry edge is good, but it would be cooler to just give one for free.

Excellent service here, the pizza is almost perfect, a lot of ingredients to select from. But of course, again, the best part is the customer service from the people that assisted me during the night. The food was really good and the price as well. I can see myself returning here often.

The pizza is really very good! Unfortunately the restaurant itself is a bit small and very cramped, but it's worth it for the food! When we were there there was a bit of chaos with a new team working together. But that too could be forgiven. Definitely try it out!

Amazing pizza! Must try the Porcinambur one, is crazy! Quality is super high! Very lovely staff, fast service. Cute little place with open kitchen. Will def come back. Tonic water is also an absolute banger.

They leave their trash all over the backyard and disrespect the neighbors.

You get really good pizza here and the service is very attentive. The restaurant is very, very small and unfortunately when there is a big crowd they try to accommodate more people than the space actually allows. You then feel like a chicken in factory farming. Cozy is different, the employees sometimes can no longer get through to the guests and the waiting time becomes longer (small kitchen, small oven). All tables and chairs are high chairs and the height of the tables makes you feel like a small child. We could hardly have a conversation because the volume was extremely high given the amount of people, I feel sorry for the employees who were really trying. Of course you try to get everything you can economically from the local situation (the rent is probably high) but unfortunately that doesn't suit the atmosphere. If it had been emptier it would have been much nicer. We'll try another branch next time. Maybe there are people who like this tightness but we felt extremely uncomfortable. When it comes to the wine selection (single glass), it is confusing whether it is white, red or orange and the house wines are unfortunately not my thing in terms of taste in the current vintage (in all branches). If it is not the vintage, something has been changed in the wine selection unfortunately. As with all standard branches, the quality of the food is really great.

Nice authentic shop. The pizzas themselves are very good, unfortunately both were too cold. But the dough is great, wonderful consistency, great taste. Service is quick, unfortunately we don't understand the local language (German). Ambience a bit too cool / sterile for my taste (aluminum counter). Absolutely recommended in terms of taste 👍

A lively pizza shop for high stool fans. The vegetarian Nduja pizza came out of the oven fragrant - a really successful variation on a well-known theme with melted buffalo mozzarella, red onions, fresh basil and pleasantly spicy paprika cream, whose sweet aroma and spiciness gave the pizza character. Unfortunately, the consistency of the pizza spoiled the otherwise excellent taste experience. A fluffy, high edge, more soft than crispy, surrounded an overly moist center of dough with tomato sauce, which within minutes became a muddy pond from which one could fish out onion rings and pieces of buffalo mozzarella that had hardened again. There was nothing wrong with the simple Portuguese house wine other than the price.

24.07.08 The pizza place in front of the house is a bit more expensive than other pizza places, but it's delicious. But the olives are really too salty compared to other olives.

Staff unbothered, asked them what do you recommend and they said ‘I don’t know what you like’, spent more time outside smoking then serving when we had no drinks

Pizza is amazing❤️ classical margarita with mozzarella and the one with mortadella, buratta and pistachios. You can also see how the pizza makers cook, i didn’t ask the names but guys, it was a special pleasure to watch you making pizza 😍

I’m not usually a big pizza person, but Standard Pizza Mitte surprised me—it was genuinely good! The crust was perfectly crispy yet chewy, and the toppings tasted fresh and well-balanced. However, the experience was a bit mixed. The service wasn’t the friendliest, which took away from the vibe a bit, and the place itself is quite narrow, so it can feel cramped inside. But if you’re in it mainly for the pizza, this spot definitely delivers on flavor. Therefore it’s four stars from me :)

Delicious Neapolitan pizza in a small but cozy place. Prices are a bit high but it’s made from quality ingredients. You can order a pizza here and eat it at Mikkeller, next door which is nice if the place is full or if you want to drink craft beers. I found the natural cider ok but not amazing.

A Berlin institution when it comes to excellent Neapolitan pizza. I've never been disappointed here. The wine selection is high quality, but also a bit overpriced in my opinion. This is also due to the fact that predominantly “alternative” wines are offered here. But the equation alternative = good doesn't always work. 7 € for 0.1 l. Mediocre Chianti, yes, good... At least you can get tap water with your wine without any problems, which puts things into perspective.

Standard Pizza + Mikkeller, the best combo in Berlin

Definitely one of the best pizzas in Berlin: great taste, great ingredients, very nice staff, great vibe. Try the Wagyu Salami with their optional chili flakes.

We stumbled upon this very welcoming place by chance. We stopped with some doubts because it is not easy to find someone who cooks really good pizza abroad. Also I am wheat intolerant. Instead we immediately had to change our minds. Excellent service, courteous and fast. Excellent pizza and it didn't hurt even after digestion. Absolutely recommendable place.

The pizzas are amazing. The best thing is that they have original vegan options. Not just your usual marinara or vegetables and vegan cheese, but pizzas that don’t try to imitate animal ingredients! I’ve had the pizza with peacreme, season vegetables, tomatoes, basil and fried onions. Honestly, it was the best pizza I’ve ever had. At other locations of their chain in Berlin there is also a vegan pizza with humus, aubergine, harissa, fried chickpeas , mint and coriander. I can’t wait to try that one as well :) The staff is very nice and helpful. Thanks!

Best pizza in Berlin! But the main guy working there is on coke all the time? Quite rude, stressed for no reason. They forgot one order, were reminded of it, then told it never arrrived at time of paying and we barely got an apology, no drinks taken off the bill and my company had to ASK to be gifted something to make up for the missed order. The prenzlauer berg location is run better, will not be returning to the mitte location even though its closer.

Unfortunately, the two employees today were really unfriendly. You don't feel welcome as a customer. It seems like new customers annoyed them since they have to work more. However, the pizza was fantastic and deserves 5 stars.

The pizzas were all very tasty and well prepared. What took a bit of time was the reordering and the demand for fresh drinks. In general the service was very good. The biggest drawback, however, was the toilet. It doesn't have its own sink and the only way to wash your hands was at a sink behind the bar.

Unfortunately, pizza is very greasy and quite expensive, the taste is just that. and unfortunately the wine was nothing either, with a glass costing 8 euros. Sitting on the street at small tables that look more like an ice cream parlor...

Incredible pizzas. We went here twice in a short trip as the food was amazing. Staff were fantastic. It’s just a small place but definitely worth visiting.
