Standard Biergarten in Würzburg

Today I dined there on spit roast with red cabbage, dumplings, and beans with bacon. Everything was delicious, especially the beans with bacon. Plus, a reasonable price and a friendly waitress. What more could you want?

Nice little beer garden not far from the Main River.

A great beer garden! We (3 adults, 2 children [aged 1 and 4]) visited this afternoon. Although it was quite busy, we were served immediately by a very friendly lady. We really liked the selection – including vegan dishes – and the value for money. Definitely recommend it!

Bad service, at least 1 hour waiting time for food and that with bratwurst

I've been there several times. Both the pub and the beer garden are highly recommended, in my opinion. The service is always super friendly, and the food is truly delicious. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Unfortunately I have to say that I was not satisfied with the service. The experience was the worst in ages. Two people are tapping beer and are overwhelmed by taking further orders. The food comes piecemeal from the kitchen and is then placed on a table next to the counter. Suddenly no one knows who the food belongs to or which table it belongs to. Then there are five of us waiting for food and drink and nothing happens. I ask you to review and improve the situation. The staff is very friendly, but seems mostly disorganized. Some guests are impatient and take their own food from the table where the waitress was supposed to take it from to distribute it. In total we waited about 20 minutes for a standard fries and then received the fries that were presumably intended for another guest. There were some problems that were getting worse by the minute. The prices are high and the location is attractive. The staff needs improvement, as does the distribution system. Overall, the stay wasn't ideal, even if things went better on previous visits. I would like to apologize for this review, but I hope that you can somewhat understand my displeasure. I would like to give you another chance and change my rating if the situation improves in the future.

Nope, that's not for us. There was a great view of the Main and the vineyards, but that was it. There is no table service. I can understand because there is hardly any staff. But then you are not allowed to call for such prices. I found it entirely too expensive. For dinner I only had fries as an appetizer. Unfortunately, they were in the fryer for too long and the fat was apparently too old. They tasted rancid. We won't be going there again.
