Stadtschänke Hadamar in Hadamar

Very friendly service, fair prices, and good food with filling portions. We went there twice and were satisfied both times.

I was really hungry and was looking forward to a hearty, delicious meal - but the result was all the more disappointing. We ordered the No. 1 (Cevapcici) to take away twice, but the taste of the whole thing was absolutely disappointing. The Cevapcici were more reminiscent of cheap meatballs from the supermarket, no spice or Balkan charm. The side dishes were a joke: two tiny portions of raw (!) cabbage, two carelessly cut tomato slices and completely soggy, greasy fries. After all the positive reviews, I expected much more - unfortunately absolutely not recommended.

The food is very tasty, but the place was packed, and the service and kitchen were at their limits. As a result, it took a bit longer. Nevertheless, everything was good and highly recommended.

I always enjoy eating here. The food is always very good, with large portions, great flavor, and a fair price. The friendly service rounds out the experience.
