The service was pure impudence. I assume it was the manager. Unfriendly, slow, doesn't listen when you order. Simply ridiculous. Never come here again. Drinks were okay.

I came here for lunch on a recommendation and was not disappointed. The menu, featuring good, home-style cooking, is small but excellent. The staff is friendly and accommodating. However, if you're planning a group of people, reservations are recommended, as this restaurant is a popular destination for bus tours. I'm deducting one star because the service staff seemed overwhelmed during peak hours, which detracted from the otherwise relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. I was surprised by the bill that every change to a side dish was charged to the guest at €1. I had chosen the potato wedges on offer instead of croquettes.

While searching for a place to enjoy coffee and cake, we discovered the Parkschlößchen, located in the Greiz castle park. We were warmly greeted and warmly invited in. The Art Nouveau-style guesthouse, with its tastefully furnished dining room and pleasant ambiance, made our coffee break a complete success. The strawberry cake, in season, was incredibly delicious. We can't comment on the guesthouse, as we were only there for coffee.
