Sportgaststätte in Neunburg vorm Wald

That was a pleasant surprise! After a local recommended this place, we stopped by: homemade warm potato salad with freshly breaded schnitzel and a delicious side salad. Not to mention the freshly tapped beer ;-) The owners are a bit older, but that just shows! Absolutely worth a visit :-)

It didn't taste good. The currywurst was cold, and so was the sauce. I've been there twice now, and I won't be going back.

Today, we hiked from Lake Murner with our dog to this restaurant in the blazing sun. The website said it was open from 9 am to 11 pm. When we arrived (around 3:30 pm), it was closed. And the sign on the door said: "We'd be happy to open for you if you give us 2-3 days' notice." I think that's ridiculous; they should just correct it on their website. I'd give it zero stars if I could, but that's not an option. So, this one star is a bit of a gamble.

The best food I've had in a long time. Everything about this restaurant is a 10/10.

Honest, down-to-earth cuisine, super nice staff and one of the quaint restaurants in the Upper Palatinate. And we have a good beer, what more?
