A restaurant that I can definitely recommend to everyone. Choosing this restaurant is a very good decision.

Very cozy restaurant, well-attended, the food is very good and plentiful, very tasty, only the service is a bit inattentive, but very friendly. We enjoyed it. Will we come back? Of course, if we're in the area.

I’ve eaten here many times, and every visit has been a real pleasure. The meat is of excellent quality (which makes up most of the dishes here), and the food overall is really delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and they also speak English. The restaurant has a warm, calm atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal.

Sadly, not much to do with the authentic Balkan cuisine. Judging by the other reviews, people who don't know what proper Balkan cuisine means, may like it. For us, as subjective as it may be, it was a definite no - low quality meat, undercooked, tasteless. Great disappointment.

food was magnificent, far better than any of the rival turkish places around Kreuzberg, selling similar-style Mediterranean food. the service was bland, no frills, it's not a smiley trolley dolly at a neuremberg bierhaus, but it's sufficient. the atmosphere inside was no frills, outside there's view of nothing but construction sites. I wish this had a better environment, befitting the food.

We were very well treated by the staff, and served an amazing food! The portion sizes are good and the venue’s decoration is beautiful. Love also that they have authentic Croatian beverages.

Un excelente lunes por la noche en Berlín. Entradas, red, cervezas y un par de botellas de un excelente Shiraz croata todo por unos 40 € por persona. Elegí una crema de sopa de espárragos seguida de Veal Liver Berlin Style, ambas estaban excelentes y el hígado estaba excepcionalmente bien cocinado. Nuestro anfitrión amablemente nos permitió ver un partido de fútbol del Reino Unido cuando habíamos terminado nuestra cena. Y estaba feliz de que nos quedáramos mirando después de su hora normal de cierre.

Highlight of our weekend! Very kind and accommodating service and great food (+large portions). Our table was ready 5-10 minutes later than our reserved time so the staff offered us a welcome drink on the house while waiting. The food also did not disappoint: from smaller plates to salads to vegetarian and grilled options, we all really enjoyed the meal! 5 stars, and we will be back for sure.

Very cool restaurant. We had to wait 15 minutes because those in front of us took longer, but we got a drink on the house for the wait. Food was very tasty and a huge portion. The taste was very tasty and we will definitely eat there again. Only recommended. One star deducted from the service because of the wait, but otherwise everything was great, including the price.

Very cozy restaurant...you could think you were in the 2000s. BUT...the food was amazing. I haven't eaten Croatian cuisine this well in a long time. A little trip back in time to old West Berlin. The staff is very friendly and personable, the food plentiful and delicious, with many very well-prepared meat dishes. The restaurant is cozy, and I always notice the customers as pleasant, normal people, often families with children who still have a good upbringing. Everything fits together perfectly, and we always enjoy going to Split. Thank you for the great service.

An absolute highlight! I had an incredibly delicious meal here - the Ćevapčići were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, with crispy fries, a fresh salad and both spicy and regular onions for the perfect taste. The quality of the ingredients was top and the portions were more than sufficient. If you love Balkan cuisine, you should definitely stop by here! Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere complete the whole thing. Clear recommendation!

My home address in Berlin! A must for every visit to Berlin. I've been eating here since the early '00s and both the ambience and quality have remained the same. Childhood memories come back! Absolutely friendly service - a little piece of Croatia in Berlin. At the end there is a Dalmatian schnapps on the house.

Probably the best Croatian restaurant in Berlin. Balkan food is a treat if you're into Mediterranean style food and want to try something else besides Italian, Spanish, or Greek. Reservation isn't really needed as there is usually space.

Wow, the store is great! I love this large stained glass window. The food was also delicious. The restaurant was also at full capacity, so it seems that others enjoyed it too.

Restaurant of my childhood. Prices have now risen significantly, small portions. Also the cappuccino. I can judge that because I have another regular Croatian. I expressed a wish to get white onions instead of the hot ones. I would have paid too. But the request was not fulfilled because there were some on the plate. I find it totally customer-unfriendly! To make matters worse, I was given the bowl with the spicy ones. Completely unnecessary. Sanitary facilities need to be overhauled.

Croatian restaurant that is very close to the hotel where I was staying. The menu is very extensive, with Croatian dishes, grilled dishes, fish, etc. I came to eat and decided on a plate of goose breast, since it was the season. With a Berliner beer and a latte, the bill came to €34.90. The goose, acceptable; I had never tried it before and found it to have a texture similar to chicken, although with much darker meat and a flavor that was too intense; It is not a meat that I think I repeat. The place was very good, and the service was good, although a little slow, but you have to keep in mind that the restaurant was packed.

Been there again after many years and it is just as great as it was back then. 👍🏻 Very tasty dishes, great grilled meats and the calamari are absolutely recommended. But the best thing is the incredibly nice service! This has to be emphasized again and again these days. If you like good and authentic Croatian cuisine, this is the place for you!

Such a great experience! I loved the history of this place. The "old" style of the restaurant transported me back to my childhood in many ways, yet still seemed in "new" condition. The service was fantastic and helped me find the right food on a cold December day.

For many years now, whenever I'm in the area, I've enjoyed coming to the "Split". Classic Balkan cuisine and also international cuisine. Of course not star cuisine, but decent quality that has remained pretty much the same over the years. The price-performance ratio is also right.

Good food...moderate prices...fast and friendly service...however, it would be an advantage if you reserved seats in advance...the restaurant is almost always fully booked...because the food is really delicious
