Very tasty food and good service. We'll definitely come back.

Our second visit to Spitiko. Unfortunately, I now have to revise my first, very good review. The "pink-roasted lamb" served was a very well-cooked strip of lamb, unfortunately only lukewarm. When the few stalks of wild broccoli were served, the sauce landed on the table. The sauce was wiped away, but it was no longer there. The squid's tentacle was cut into several pieces, and only a portion of it landed on the plate. When the hand-cut fries were cut, they were very uneven, mostly too thin. As a result, some of them had a slightly burnt flavor, but overall, they were more mushy than crispy. The spoonful of tzatziki was hard to find under the souvlaki, but the meat was hidden under a lot of onion. I'm happy to spend a little more for food. But I also expect quality commensurate with the price.

WE LOVE EVERYTHING!!! The ambiance is incredibly great, you feel like you're in a restaurant in Greece! The food is a 12 out of 10!!!! And the staff is EXCELLENT! We would give it 10 out of 5 stars if we could! The trip from Würzburg to Fürth is WORTH IT!

After the many good reviews, Spitiko had to be tried out. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we immediately encountered the first negative: of the three plates already set, not one was intact. One plate was even badly damaged in several places. After we ordered, the food arrived quickly. The presentation was okay, but nothing more. The roast beef with green asparagus was very poorly presented in its dish, and that for €14.90. The zucchini fritters were extremely greasy from the frying, so much so that I felt slightly nauseous. Everything tasted generally okay. However, given the relatively high prices, the extremely damaged plates, and the poor presentation of the food, it's simply not worth a second visit.

We went there for brunch on Saturday and were thrilled! Great small dishes, perfect for sharing and incredibly tasty. The drinks were also really good, especially the coffee. The service was really friendly and attentive. Our little daughter got extra ice cubes and a small fruit salad that was perfect for her. We enjoyed the morning so much that we came back in the evening with a larger group for meze. We were recognized and warmly welcomed, and the meze was absolutely delicious. Vegetarians and meat-eaters alike all went home satisfied. We'll be happy to come back the next time we visit relatives in Fürth!

The food is very tasty, but not exactly cheap. For a normal eater, you'll need 2-3 meze, which will cost over €20, but it's worth it. Service is attentive, and the atmosphere is nice, but it can get loud at times.

I celebrated my birthday there. The lovely side room was perfectly adequate for 26 guests. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the agreed menu and it was praised by all my guests. The food was served with a lovely décor. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. I would celebrate and eat there again anytime. High praise to the kitchen and the service team!

We were there for brunch. The service was perfect! The mini portions were unusual but good. If you're really hungry it could be very expensive

First of all: Brunch was very tasty! Even if we went there (Sunday lunchtime) with the expectation of feasting our way through the menu (which we had already studied online). But: On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there is brunch until 2 p.m. and Mediterranean cuisine only from 5 p.m. We were a bit disappointed here and that's why we only gave it 4 stars! I then searched the homepage several times and found no reference to this!! This would be a suggestion for improvement. As mentioned, the brunch was delicious, but we weren't completely full (because we expected something else). But feel free to come by in the evening to try the food. P.S. We find the price of cola to be very high.

The food was very good and was prepared quickly. The atmosphere is cozy. The waiters were extremely attentive, sometimes a bit intrusive. Two waitresses took turns coming to the table every minute. We always had the feeling that we should eat quickly and give up the space again. Otherwise everything was fine.

We were one of the first to try the breakfast offer. The menu is extensive, there is enough sweet and savory selection. The concept is like tapas, you order several small bowls to share with others at the table. Depending on how hungry you are, I would order around 2-3 dishes per person. We had almost the entire menu. Each dish was delicious in its own way, especially the poached egg with hollondaise sauce. The French toast was also bomb. I would like to see a drinks menu separately for breakfast. There weren't any, just one with aperitifs for the evening. Price-performance ratio is fair.

Unfortunately, one star is far too much, after 1.5 hours you are told that the table can only be occupied for 2 hours, so to speak, you are thrown out! You should specify this when making your reservation! You can enjoy mezze and wine! Bill amount 150 for 4 people. Because of the way and the way customers are treated, never again and we advise against it!

Thank you for the great evening with you. You feel like you've been transported back to your last holiday in Greece, unfortunately not when it comes to the bill. The team is great, you feel extremely comfortable and you don't have to wait long for anything. The food is really perfectly prepared. The portions are very small (meze) but unfortunately too expensive. For the price we ended up paying for the two of us, you can eat meze three times in Crete. Make the portions a little bigger or lower the price a little and we would be with you several times a year. But if meze food is more expensive, like an exuberant dinner at a Greek restaurant, then it's just not right. For your weekly meze pulpo with spinach parmesan risotto: pulpo is such a great dish, unfortunately the risotto completely drowns out the good pulpo. We will come back, but unfortunately less often than we would like.

The Spitiko is a real gem in Fürth! The concept impresses with great attention to detail and is completely consistent. The food is consistently creative, of the highest quality and freshly prepared. I would particularly like to highlight the home-baked bread – my personal highlight on every visit! The vegetarian selection is also good. The service is great: attentive, warm and always with a smile. You immediately feel welcome. We'll be testing the new brunch offering soon - and we're already sure: we'll be thrilled with it too. Absolute recommendation – everything is just right here!

Very friendly staff, large selection, good portion size, reasonably priced to upscale. I like coming to Spitiko. Edit 04/25: Now I was able to give the 5th star because thanks to the breakfast there is now also cappucchino with oat milk (which goes well with the vegan dessert 🤤)! Yay :)

We were in Spitiko for the second time almost 2 weeks ago. Haven't eaten so well in a long time 👌🏻 Here is a list of the meze we ordered: - Beetroot hummus (chickpeas, beetroot, tahini, garlic) - cold - Yellow lentil salad (beetroot, mint, walnuts) - cold - Bimi (wild broccoli) - cold - Octopus salad - cold From the weekly menu: - Sea bream fillet with a cream of roasted carrots, beurre blanc & herb oil - warm - Spanakopita (filo pastry with spinach feta filling & yoghurt dip) - warm - Greek yogurt ice cream (rehydrated sour cherries, kadayif & roasted almonds) We were also given bread upon request. Conclusion: food great, service great! It's comfortable to sit inside, and in spring/summer you can also sit on a beautiful terrace. The price is a little high, but it is also something special that you can afford from time to time. Unfortunately no photos were taken this time, but I'll definitely take them again next time.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because it never happened. The two of us entered the restaurant at 8:45 p.m. We were informed that the kitchen was already closed. The last chance to order food is at 8 p.m. There is information online that it is open until 11 p.m. There is nothing about opening times for the kitchen. Probably more like a retirement home without Mediterranean kitchen times...

Great restaurant in the old town of Fürth. The atmosphere is modern and very inviting, you immediately feel at home. The menu is varied and very rich. We were extremely satisfied with the taste, we have rarely eaten so well and the friendly service topped it all off. We'll definitely be back!

Exceptional Greek restaurant with delicious dishes and always friendly service. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the Städle - its colors and sounds. Update 03/2025: the new location is very nice, the terrace is larger and the location is a little further away from the busy road - simply perfect! Very good restaurant. The staff is friendly, but the waiting times are above average (e.g. I ordered a coke afterwards, waited a good 10 minutes), and the waiting time was also quite long when ordering food. The store was busy at the time. Overall it's a bit too long for my taste, but that's not really a problem. Food was amazing. The chicken was extremely tender, or the young bull, mega! Salads etc. are really a real treat! I would go there again. In terms of price, I would expect around 40€/person including drinks. But you ate very well!

The non-Greek restaurant tries to serve Greek “small” dishes. The taste, ambience and service of the waiters do not give the impression that you are eating in a classic Greek “meze” restaurant. The portions are extremely "small", I can't talk about eating and enjoying it here, as the 4 of us were seated at a table that was intended for 2 people. Overall, we didn't get full and paid a lot for mini portions.

Today was the third time I went to Spitiko. Every time I am in love with the food. I am completely satisfied with the service, the ambience and the food. I can always recommend the restaurant.

The selection is appealing, but unfortunately the mezes lack spices, which means you don't really experience a taste explosion. Furthermore, I had a reservation and according to my reservation confirmation I would only have to pay 20€ in the event of a no-show, not, as you claimed on site, 20€ per person!!! I had made a reservation for four people, but since the couple had to cancel at short notice due to influenza, there were only two of us. In this context, you charged me €40 in compensation. In this case, the procedure is not really legal! However, I don't want to make much trouble because of the 40€. We simply won't go there again and won't recommend the facility to others. I can definitely recommend the Spitiko team, it would be helpful if they showed more transparency in their business practices. There are other meze restaurants that do better in terms of both taste and service.

The food was technically good for the price. You have to see it like tapas, so a person needs two portions or dishes to get full. It took a while to get the order to the table, but it was full house and therefore very busy. Basically, I would definitely recommend the restaurant!

We (the six of us) went to Spitiko for the first time in the evening on January 25th, 2025. The restaurant was recommended to us by several friends. At 6 p.m. it was still pleasantly quiet there. Nice open-minded gentleman in service. The drinks were taken and provided immediately. The food (Mediterranean tapas) also came very quickly after what felt like a maximum of 20 minutes. We were recommended 2-3 tapas per person, for me 2 were enough in terms of quantity. If necessary, more will be ordered. Everything is uncomplicated. We then had 11 different tapas on the table. Our table agreed that they were all particularly tasty too. I can highly recommend the braised young bull (€9.90). My salmon in a crispy coating was also delicious. However, there were only 2 relatively small pieces of salmon, with chopped avocado and some sprouts. I think the price of €11.90 is a bit too high. The garlic fries (€5.90) ​​were very tasty - but too "oily" for me (later feeling full). The desserts are again highly recommended: we had crème brulée (€7.50) and chocolate mousse (€5.90). Since you can share the portions, it's a very fair price. About the ambience: The restaurant quickly filled up (several levels/rooms - we were on the 1st floor) and it got correspondingly loud. The rooms could use a little more acoustic insulation. In the end, it was also the perceived tightness (there were rumors of "overbooking" several times) and the noise that made us leave after 1.5 hours. In the end we were very satisfied and will come back (but probably earlier in the evening).

There were 3 of the 9 fine slices of octopus arm tablespoons of risotto. - Bread must be ordered + paid for separately. - To fill up you should order at least 3 plates, which is about €30 just for the food. - The volume on the 1st floor is very high, you have to speak really loudly, it's tiring. + The decor is nice and everything is very clean and comfortable. + Subway stop in front of the entrance + Staff very friendly

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant. After our visit, we and others in our group became sick, probably due to the food. We then contacted the restaurant directly, but our feedback was not taken seriously, let alone accepted. The way we dealt with criticism was disappointing and we would have liked to have had a greater sense of responsibility and customer focus. It's a shame, we definitely won't be coming back.

Das Essen war nur lauwarm und das Fleisch sehr fettig. Sowohl Souvlaki als auch Bekri Meze (Schweinefleisch). Preis-Leistung passt nicht. Die guten Bewertungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar. Pommes in schrumpeliger Qualität für 5,90€ auch nicht. Da gibt es andere Griechen in Fürth, die eine bessere Qualität zu besseren Preisen haben.

Greek with a difference - the two of us chose 5 of the small dishes in tapas portions: red lentils ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, squid tentacles ⭐⭐⭐, braised beef liver (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐), baked sheep's cheese ⭐⭐⭐ and chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Everything was delicious, the hummus ⭐⭐⭐⭐ with the bread was really good and the service was just incredibly nice and friendly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The bill for 2 rounds of beer/wine each was just under €60 and completely within reason for us. The only thing that is out of the ordinary is the 0.2 glass of Luganer for over €8... delicious, but the price is just above my personal pain threshold. We'll definitely be back. Update 12/2024 After Spitiko moved from Gustavstrasse to Waagplatz, this restaurant also deserves the 5th star with recognition. The rooms are very tasteful on two levels and we had exactly nothing to complain about in the 6 different dishes. The Spitiko is now one of our favorite restaurants in Fürth/Nuremberg 🍀

Abbiamo ordinato tentacoli di polpo cotto a bassa temperatura e souvlaki….aiutoooo. Sono arrivati due micro piatti con un tentacolo su crema di fave che duro e’ un eufemismo e due micro spiedini di carne dura e stopposa. Una birra media un acqua…..29,70 in due….state alla larga

A more wonderful evening at Spitiko in Fürth. We had a table on the first floor. It wasn't so loud there, so we could have a good chat. The drinks didn't take long to arrive. The new Winter Spritz is really highly recommended. The food also came in a reasonable time, even though the restaurant was full to capacity. The dishes were all simply delicious. One better than the other. We'll definitely be back!

Small tavern in the center of Artemis I had a moussaka which was very good, a beer (50cl) and some bread for €11 The boss is very welcoming, I asked her for a lot of information, to which she responded very valiantly.

The move was a complete success. The new location is really really nice. The food is a bit more expensive but is of very good quality and really tasty. The changing weekly specials are always particularly good.

I was invited to the Spitiko restaurant this week for the Christmas party and really enjoyed the cheerful evening here. I regularly go to Greek restaurants - but today's meal was actually something very special! I had never heard of Greek tapas (meze), which is what Spitiko is known for. I followed today's recommendation to simply order two meze and decided on two "meze of the week": flank steak (200 g of willow beef, grilled wonderfully medium) and pulled salmon - also a dream! As a starter we had pita and bread with three different dips (tzatziki, fava Santorini and beetroot hummus) - and it was all incredibly delicious! A wonderful evening that I will always remember fondly! The staff was friendly & attentive, I felt very comfortable here.

Hummus, homemade bread, baked feta and flank steak were delicious! Unfortunately, the fried calamari wasn't my cup of tea. The service was very friendly, but I think having another person on duty would make the experience even better. The dark red wine on the menu (open wine) was really good. All in all, I am very satisfied and would come again.

Quality of the food itself was very good, but overall poor value for money. The service seemed rather overwhelmed. When asked about an ouzo, the answer was: “We are not a typical Greek restaurant” - correct, at a “typical” Greek you don’t even have to pay €105 for two people (we didn’t have expensive wine or anything like that).

Ein geschmackvoll, gemütliches Restaurant an einem ruhigen Platz gelegen bietet u.a. moderne griechische Gerichte. Alles war schön angerichtet und schmeckte hervorragend. Auch der Wein war ausgezeichnet.

Today we were in the restaurant for the first time. It was very, very cold upstairs, in a side room. The food was lukewarm when we got it and then quickly got cold. Most of the taste was ok. Especially tzatziki & dips. However, you could hardly taste the garlic. There was very little seasoning on our meat. The feta cheese was very good. The service was sometimes gone for a very long time. When it comes to tipping, you should definitely let the customer decide! I'm definitely disappointed. The ambience is nice. But overall it wasn't enough for me to come back.

As always, the food was delicious, the service was always courteous. The only disadvantage: the front of the neighboring table was occupied and that's why the fourth chair was removed. The others sat so close that you could hear their conversations very well. Therefore a star deduction for the ambience.

Food was delicious... something different... small tapas portions! Service was tried 😞... but we waited a long time until we were asked for drinks (a bit unpleasant in summer when you're thirsty)! The ambience would be quite nice...but the insulation was saved...unfortunately! It is very loud (we tried very hard to understand the person we were talking to) and perhaps insulation at the tables would help 😉!

This was my favorite Greek place for about three years, but unfortunately this has changed. The portions have been reduced twice during this time and my beloved Spitiko Souvlaki was recently completely changed. Apparently inferior meat with a lot of fat is now used, which has never happened to me there before. We then went back there to check if this was just a blip. Unfortunately, the taste of several dishes has deteriorated, so we have lost what was once a very good restaurant.

This is what Fürth was missing! A wide selection of dishes from various origins, very well prepared and extremely tasty. Fast service and an appropriate selection of drinks round off a successful experience.

The Spitiko is now located in the premises of the former Pizzeria Panolio on Waagplatz in Fürth. A nice location for a good restaurant. The concept of the Meze Greek is convincing. Like in Arabic restaurants, you can order a variety of small things and enjoy them together. The meze are overall very good. Except for a few little things. The meat in the souvlaki skewers is okay, but it could be better. In addition, the pieces of meat are a bit too thick. The beetroot hummus is very well made, but we weren't impressed with the taste. But these are just small things that don't detract from the very positive impression and may be seen differently by others. The service is excellent. You just feel good. The wine selection is not too large, but convincing. Maybe Spitiko can offer one or two more Greek red wines. They are excellent and are valued far too little in Germany.

I'm thinking about whether I should write something bad so that no one goes and I always get a free table, but I can't! Last night was just perfect! The Spitiko at the new location is super discreet in terms of the design of the rooms with a lot of charm that makes you feel right at home. The wonderful service was super friendly! The food is awesome! Squid and risotto, both melted in your mouth, lentil salad, great bread, souvlaki... We were in culinary heaven! Delicious, fine Negroni, red wine... Small portions, no uzo before or after. Price/performance OK

Delicious meze in a beautiful location. Tzatziki, calamari, squid arm, sheep cheese, babaganoush, … The food was really very good, we sat outside at the Waagplatz, almost a Mediterranean feeling on a Franconian summer evening. We'll be back!

Congratulations, the move to Waagplatz was worth it. You put a lot of sweat and love into the redesign! The new location is great! Your food is still unbeatable!

Highly recommended. With pleasure, or hopefully soon again. Delicious fresh food, nice and friendly staff ("on their toes"), fair prices. Also a very good selection for vegetarians. I'm looking forward to eating there with friends who don't know the restaurant yet. I'm sure you'll be as excited as I/we are.
