Super leckeres Essen und sehr aufmerksamer Service. Die Schärfe des Tikka Masala war perfekt (nicht zu lasch aber auch nicht zu scharf).

Wir besuchen Spice of India seit fünf Jahren, zunächst in Hattersheim und jetzt in Kriftel. Das Essen war immer köstlich, authentisch und über all die Jahre hinweg bemerkenswert gleichbleibend gut. Besonders schätzen wir, dass der Schärfegrad gerne individuell angepasst wird. Es ist seit Jahren unser Lieblings-Inder in der Region Frankfurt und bleibt unsere erste Wahl. Der Inhaber und die Mitarbeiter sind stets herzlich, zuvorkommend und freundlich, sodass jeder Besuch zu einem angenehmen Erlebnis wird. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist wunderbar und einladend. Der neue Standort in Kriftel bietet sowohl drinnen als auch draußen hervorragende Sitzplätze und ist somit zu jeder Jahreszeit ein idealer Ort für ein gutes Essen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Es war wirklich leckeres und reichliches Essen und ein sehr freundlicher Service. Leider war es kühl und regnerisch, wir konnten nicht im Garten sitzen, der sehr einladend aussah. Der Anbau, in dem wir saßen war ok, der Hauptgastraum sah einladend aus!

Waren heute das erste Mal da, an den Klassikertagen. Essen gerne mal indisch, daher kann man das ganze positiv bewerten. Super leckeres Essen, tolle, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedingungen. Wenn wir wieder in der nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.😊

Ich hatte hier ein wunderbares kulinarisches Erlebnis. Der Hara Bhara Kebab war absolut köstlich – perfekt gewürzt, voller Geschmack und wunderschön angerichtet. Es war deutlich zu erkennen, dass nicht nur beim Geschmack, sondern auch bei der Präsentation größte Sorgfalt walten gelassen wurde. Das Paneer Tikka Masala war ebenso beeindruckend. Als Kenner der authentischen indischen Küche empfand ich es als sehr authentisch und es erfüllte meine Erwartungen voll und ganz. Die reichhaltige, ausgewogene Soße und der perfekt gegarte Paneer machten es zu einem herausragenden Gericht. Wenn Sie authentisches indisches Essen suchen, das mit Liebe zum Detail und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet wird, ist dieses Restaurant definitiv einen Besuch wert. Sehr empfehlenswert und ein Muss für jeden Liebhaber der indischen Küche!

Das Spice of India ist seit dieser Saison im Krifteler Tennisclub – was für eine Bereicherung! Innen ist das Restaurant jetzt richtig schön geworden und das gilt auch für den Wintergarten plus draußen ein riesiger sonniger Biergarten. Der Service ist sehr professionell und zuvorkommend. Die Auswahl an indischen Gerichten ist riesig, aber es gibt natürlich auch deutsche und italienische Gerichte und egal was man bestellt es schmeckt immer super (ich esse ein- bis zweimal pro Woche hier). Kann ich nur empfehlen, für mich das beste indische Restaurant in der näheren Umgebung.

KORREKTUR: Das Restaurant hat uns nach Veröffentlichung der Rezension angerufen und sich entschuldigt. Sie haben uns angeboten ein neues vegetarisches Korma zu kochen und dieses schmeckt deutlich besser! Es wurde frisches Gemüse genommen und das gesamte Gericht schmeckt gut. Ursprüngliche Rezension: Wir haben zwei Gerichte über die Webseite bestellt: einmal das Chicken Korma und einmal das vegetarische Korma. Das Chicken Korma war sehr lecker, doch das vegetarische Korma war eine Katastrophe. Das Gemüse kam eindeutig aus der Dose (und die Cashews waren bei beiden Gerichten nicht vorhanden). Werden wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal dort bestellen. Dosengemüse kann man sich auch selbst daheim warm machen. Gesamtbewertung bei 3 Sternen, weil die Lieferung schnell war.

Haben dort Essen bestellt für 3 Personen! 1.) Beide Salate wurden mit Joghurt Soße bestellt die im Prinzip NICHT vorhandem war. Die Salate waren trocken wie die Wüste! Und dafür einmal rund 10€ sowie 13€!!! 2.) Für rund 18€(!!!) gab es eine Schale billigen Reis der selbst vom Discounter besser ist und eine Schale mit exakt 9 kleinen Fleischbrocken und Soße!!! (Siehe Bild) Bei jedem asiatischen Imbiss ist die Qualität besser und Preis Leistung ohnehin! 18€ für sowas zu verlangen ist schon eine bodenlose Frechheit!! Dazu auch noch Lieferkosten von 2,50€ bei einem Bestellwert von über 40€. Fazit: Viel Geld für unterirdisch schlechtes Essen!!!

Wir besuchen dieses Restaurant seit einem Jahr (früher in Hattersheim, jetzt in Kriftel) und es ist wirklich zu einem unserer Lieblingsorte geworden. Das Essen wird immer mit so viel Liebe und Sorgfalt zubereitet, und jeder Besuch fühlt sich warm und wie zu Hause an. Besonders schätzen wir, dass die Schärfe gerne an den authentischen indischen Geschmack angepasst wird, wann immer wir es wünschen. Es ist selten, ein Restaurant zu finden, das genau die Aromen versteht, die wir von zu Hause vermissen. Die Gastfreundschaft ist wunderbar, die Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, und das gesamte Erlebnis ist durchweg hervorragend. Ich hatte zuvor eine negative Bewertung für das Restaurant abgegeben, da uns das Essen nicht geschmeckt hat und wir nach dem Essen Magenbeschwerden hatten. Derjenige, der im Namen des Restaurants geantwortet hat, hat mich als Idioten bezeichnet – wie professionell! (Siehe die Bewertung unten.)

Haben draußen gesessen wo alles sehr sauber und schön hergerichtet war. Der Innenbereich wurde komplett neu vom neuen Besitzer gemacht und sieht toll aus. Der Service war wieder sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das essen hat auch wieder sehr lecker geschmeckt. Egal was wir bisher probiert haben, war ausgezeichnet. Gehen immer gerne mittags hin. Außen ist noch eine Bar und Kochstelle geplant. Sehr zu empfehlen

Das Spice of India hat sein Restaurant in den Örtlichkeiten eines Tennisclubs. Was auf den ersten Blick etwas ungewöhnlich klingt hat aber auch seinen Charme. Es gibt eine große aussenterasse auf der im Sommer showcooking mit tandoori veranstaltet wird. Die Lokalität an sich ist eher klassisch gehalten. Es gibt die üblichen intarsien. Der Weg zur Toilette ist etwas ungewöhnlich da dazu die Waschräume des Tennisclubs genutzt werden. Hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals und der hervorragende Geschmack der Speisen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Mit ca. 45€ pro Person für Getränke Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte war das auch nicht allzu teuer. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Besuch gerne wieder.

Großartige Chole Bhature, Aloo Kulcha und Parathas. Die Chole mit Pyaz und Achar waren fantastisch. Ich komme gerne wieder, um andere Gerichte zu probieren.

Sehr guter Inder mit tollem Service und wirklich feinen Speisen

Die Hühnerstücke im Hühnercurry waren sehr hart. Der Currygeschmack war gut, aber das Hähnchen war zu zäh, es hätte länger kochen müssen! Die Hammel-Biryani-Stücke waren gut und geschmacklich essbar, nicht schlecht. Aber definitiv nicht authentisch.

Typisch indisch wie gewohnt in Deutschland. Das Essen war wirklich gut. Das Ambiente ist ganz gemütlich. Service war auch gut. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Wir waren am So 08.02.26 mit einer Gruppe zum Essen dort. Das Lokal ist gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen, Parkplätze sind an der Strasse oder bei den Sportplätzen reichlich vorhanden. Das Lokal liegt in einer Tennisanlage schön im Grünen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sauber und geschmackvoll, nicht übertrieben indisch. Die Tische sind schön gedeckt mit einer Blume auf dem Tisch. Die Speisekarte ist etwas reichhaltig (mehr als 100 Gerichte) und bietet für jeden etwas. Es wurden jeweils warme Teller serviert. Mich persönlich haben die Speisen (wir haben mächtig geteilt) nicht überzeugt. Vieles war etwas süß und nur vorsichtig indisch gewürzt. Das Papadam und seine 4 Soßen waren köstlich, allerdings hat man uns nicht gesagt, dass auch auf dem Vorspeisenteller reichlich Papadam ist. Der Service war gut und zügig. Unfair ist, dass die Preise im Lokal deutlich höher sind als auf der Internetseite. So kostet die Vorspeisenplatte inzwischen 2 € mehr. Das Bier 30 Cent mehr, alles obwohl die Mwst. gerade gesenkt wurde. Zum Abschluss wurde ein leckerer Mangolikör spendiert. Das Bezahlen war etwas langwierig, weil die Kartengeräte schlecht funktionierten.

Hier passt einfach alles. Das beste indische Restaurant das ich je besucht habt. Toller Service, schönes Ambiente und super leckeres Essen Nur zu empfehlen

Ich bin vor Kurzem von Hattersheim in den Tennisclub in Kriftel umgezogen. Die Qualität und Auswahl der Speisen ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist stets freundlich.

Ich bin spontan dort Essen gewesen - sehr netter und freundlicher Service, das Essen kam sehr schnell und war wirklich sehr gut. Absolut zu empfehlen, auch die Inneneinrichtung ist top. Kleines Manko, die Gläser Spülmaschine hinter dem Tresen war von meinem Sitzplatz aus deutlich zu hören, ich saß aber auch nahe am Eingang...

Seit Dezember von Hattersheim in die ehemalige Tennis Oase Kriftel. Das Essen und auch der Service wie immer Super. Von Aussen nicht sehr ansprechend aber der Gastraum und ehemaliger Wintergarten wurden liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Wir gehen gerne dort hin.

The food was as delicious as ever. A wide selection. Very good value for money. Friendly service. A pleasant atmosphere with white tablecloths and nice electric candles, but nothing particularly special. Please note: As the tenant explained, the lease is expiring soon. Spice of India will then be moving to the restaurant at the tennis club in Kriftel. Therefore, only cash payments are currently accepted, as there is no short-term extension for credit card payments, as the tenant also mentioned.

Excellent menu. Fantastic food. There were a lot of us, so the service took a moment. But it was worth it. Continued success!

Great Indian restaurant right next to the Parkhotel zum alten Posthof / delicious food / beautiful terrace overlooking the park / attentive staff

Five of us celebrated a birthday here. The interior is a bit dated and looks a bit thrown together. I think in the summer it is nice to sit on the outside terrace and enjoy the view of the park. The servers were a bit slow and overwhelmed even though the restaurant was almost empty. It just lacks a bit of professionalism. The food, however, is really very good! We had the large starter platter, the tandoori grill plate and three different curry dishes. The curries are very well seasoned and very intense; there could be a bit more chicken in the curries but it is no different to other Indian restaurants. All in all I think having something delivered here is a really good choice.

The food here is close to authentic real Indian food!

We came across Spice of India while looking for a restaurant with vegetarian options - and were completely pleasantly surprised. From the starter to the main course to the dessert, everything was very tasty and - as requested - pleasantly spicy. The service was friendly and attentive, and the owner also took time for us personally. The restaurant is bright and tastefully decorated, and the location made it easy to find parking spaces nearby. A successful evening – we have already recommended the restaurant and would be happy to come back!

As always, everyone was very happy. We went there with friends who didn't know Indian food. The menu is very long and you can really recommend almost everything. The staff is very friendly and very customer oriented. I accidentally placed the order twice via an app and paid with Paypal. They called me and the error was cleared up. I thought it was great!!

Pathetic service! The owner has bad temperament. I did go there to get an event organized and he(the owner) did everything to suck all the money out... As soon as we asked him about how much it'll cost he kept on changing his statement on a constant basis in order to gain as much profit as possible and as soon as we questioned him he ends up talking to us disrespectfully and also tears the paper we wrote where we jotted the request...extremely disrespectful! Do not recommend this place for your events! He will do everything to gain as much as profit possible and will cause lots of tantrums.

Very nice Indian restaurant with a great selection of dishes. Many dishes are vegetarian or vegan. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The prices are a bit high but it's worth it.

Delicious food, Good Portion size, Nice ambience and courteous staff. Car parking is available right outside the restaurant, which is a big plus. We tried Chicken Vindaloo, Non Veg Thali, Chicken Biryani and Hara Bhara Kabab. Didn't dig the Kabab so much, but the rest of the food was amazing. We tried Gulab Jamun in dessert. It was super soft and delicious.

Honest and tasty Indian cuisine. The terrace is a dream in the warmer seasons. The service is very attentive and friendly, overall a highly recommended restaurant!

We were in this restaurant for the first time two days ago as part of a smaller family celebration. You can sometimes have bad experiences with restaurants that are connected to a hotel. But that was definitely not the case here and we will certainly come back. My 'Hara Bhara Tikka' was really delicious, the other dishes were also very good. I can't say whether the cuisine is 100% authentic Indian because I've never been to India and every 'India connoisseur' tells me something different. But it was good and that's the most important thing when visiting a restaurant. Conclusion: a very positive surprise that added some culinary value to our lovely family reunion. It was fun :-)

We hosted a birthday party there with over 30 guests. From planning to implementation, we were supported in a highly professional and very friendly manner. The owner's great experience helped me a lot with the planning and I was given good advice. The food is sensational, very fresh, extremely tasty and hot. The service was so attentive, drink requests were fulfilled promptly, very professional without being intrusive. The music system worked perfectly including a microphone. The location is unbeatable, right next to a park with a large terrace. We'll definitely be back. Top experience 👍👍

Wir haben mit über 30 Gästen dort eine Geburtstagsparty ausgerichtet. Von Planung bis Durchführung sind wir höchst professionell und sehr freundlich begleitet worden. Bei der Planung hat mir die große Erfahrung des Besitzers sehr geholfen und ich wurde gut beraten. Das Essen ist sensationell, sehr frisch, äußerst lecker und heiß. Der Service war so aufmerksam, Getränkewünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt, sehr professionell ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Musikanlage hat bestens funktioniert inkl Mikrofon. Die Location ist unschlagbar gelegen, direkt an einem Park mit großer Terrasse. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Top experience 👍👍

Good Indian. Some strange flavors,

We ordered from Spice of India via Lieferando last Saturday. The delivery time was stated as 60 minutes. However, our food arrived a quarter of an hour earlier. :-) The delivery man was very, very friendly, accommodating and nice. The food was hot and well packaged. The portions are reasonable. We had: Veg. Thali, pakora plate, grill plate, naan, raita and chicken samosa. Price total 58.80 euros including delivery costs. Priced at the higher end, but reasonable given the super good quality. The overall quality of the food is really great and it tastes great! All in all: TOP!
