Sophie’s Brauhaus in Stuttgart

Locale tipo tedesco sito al primo piano di un palazzo in centro a Stoccarda. Ristorante molto affollato e rumoroso , ma molto particolare e caratteristico. Classica cucina tedesca ed ottima birra locale. Consigliato oltre alla birra , bere uno snaps ( un bicchierino di liquore locale da accompagnare alla birra ). Prost !

Yes, there were 14 of us at PAX and yes, there was football that day (we were there after rush hour...) but that shouldn't have happened. First of all, the waiting time until the service came... turkey schnitzel with cream, mushrooms and spaetzle... meat fried too long, spaetzle only watery, the sauce... er no, the Patex glue with pieces... we then turned the plate over and shook it... nothing fell down... unfortunately my friends agreed with me... I would be ashamed to serve something like that to my guests...

Super cool place with very delicious German food. The truth is that the restaurants are amazing. We also really liked the food, they were our favorite dishes of all the ones we tried during our stay in Stuttgart. The waiter was super super nice, we let ourselves be recommended by him and we did well!! The beer they make themselves there was very tasty too. You definitely can't miss this restaurant if you are in Stuttgart!!

We were looking for one Good brewery. The first impression was positive. We didn't have a reservation. The store was full and we were allowed to “sit down” at a bar table. We ordered food. After waiting for over 40 minutes, we did not receive this despite asking. At some point the waiters asked us if we were waiting to eat, which I found quite cheeky. Due to the lack of food and the cheekiness of the waiters, we left the restaurant quite quickly and will not set foot there again. It's just mass processing where humanity is forgotten. We should get in quickly, eat quickly and ideally get out straight away...

Everything was perfect during our visit. Very friendly staff, good food and great beer. Gladly again.

We were able to discover this brewery during our stay in Stuttgart. Nice decoration. As soon as we entered, we found the atmosphere of a German brewery with its large aluminum barrels. And of course we were able to taste the local beer which is very good. We also took the opportunity to taste the specialties of German cuisine by ordering Spatzle with cheese. We ate well. The waiters speak English which is a plus for people who don't speak German like us.

War auf der Suche nach einem guten Lokal mit schwäbischer Küche, wurde im Sophies Brauhaus nicht enttäuscht, das Essen war sehr gut und sehr üppig. Das Bier zum Essen war auch sehr schmackhaft. Die Bedienung war sehr prompt und auch höflich.

I was looking for a good restaurant with Swabian cuisine and was not disappointed at Sophie's Brauhaus, the food was very good and very filling. The beer with the meal was also very tasty. The service was very prompt and polite. In summary, very good restaurant, 100% recommendation

In short: The employees do their best, but are completely overwhelmed because they have too many guests to look after... Cheese spaetzle is actually not allowed to be sold here in Stuttgart, it's totally boring. Starter soup came after the main course. You wait 15-20 minutes to pay. All in all, the atmosphere is good, the staff is very friendly and totally overwhelmed, the food is moderately good.

It's a great "small" brewery, in the middle of the city and on the first floor (a bit unusual, but well located). Super nice staff, delicious food and a nice selection of specially brewed beers. The brewing kettles are in the middle of the restaurant, something special. When visiting Stuttgart, you should definitely take a look here and enjoy a beer or two. If you would like to know more about their beer, just ask... you will receive competent and detailed information.

My food wasn't good. Unfortunately, my meat on the salad was inedible or simply didn't taste good. In my opinion, the food served by my companions wasn't amazing either. Is a brewery. Accordingly, my expectations weren't too high. However, I have certainly eaten better dishes like this. The ambience is a matter of taste. The prices and the service have to be mentioned positively.

Very welcoming place on the first floor of a building (unfortunately difficult to find the entrance). Excellent beers produced by them, good quality food. We ate at Sophie's Brauhaus on Boxing Day with a total of 10 people. The food came to the table fresh and at the same time for everyone. Despite the well-filled restaurant, we didn't have to wait long for the starters or the main course. This is (in my opinion) an admirable achievement! No glass remained empty for long: the employees were very attentive. Special requests for food were also made possible. We had a great stay and would go there again at any time.

Rustic atmosphere that we have known for a long time. The service was funny and entertaining. The food is mostly German cuisine, rustic and delicious. I found the price/performance to be just about right. We always enjoy going there.

Very nice traditional German restaurant. Nicely decorated, the decorations give it a slight atmosphere of old times. You can eat regional specialties or drink good beer. Lots of places and good U-Bahn access... a few steps away and you can eat really well...

I give the whole thing a solid 3. If you don't want to be disappointed but don't expect anything special, you're welcome to come in here. There are definitely better places but also much worse ones.

We made reservations 5 days in advance for 20 people, initially at the bar and were told that we could then go to the free tables. There were no free tables and we didn't all have room at the bar, which can happen. Nevertheless, the waitresses were very unfriendly and unfortunately didn't come to our aid at all. We would all have eaten and had some drinks and still no effort was made. It was busy and the waitresses were busy, but you can't handle a reservation like that...

The service is fast, attentive and fun. The food is very well seasoned and the portion size is ideal, if you have too much you can take it with you, like me. The food is beautifully prepared. Price performance is definitely very fair. The atmosphere is cozy and the toilets are very clean. We were there this evening for the second time in a 4 day vacation. Today it was very busy, the staff seemed quite overwhelmed except Ivan, who is a reliable, funny waiter, no matter how full it is, he doesn't let himself be disturbed. It's a shame that at 7:00 p.m. three menu items on the menu were no longer available. All in all, highly recommended and worth a visit.

An absolutely amazing place We had a small celebration at Sophie’s Brauhaus and were completely thrilled. The food was incredibly tasty, fresh and high quality. The cozy and authentic ambience fit the atmosphere perfectly and made us feel welcome. I would particularly like to highlight the waitress Ümit: Not only was he super friendly, but he really went out of his way to make sure we had an unforgettable evening. All in all a fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back!

We were 2 people. We ate meatballs, which came with mashed potatoes (which I thought were good). I found them strong in flavor. I can't say I loved them, but I ate them without a problem. For me, the quantity was fine. I had read that they have excellent beer, but we didn't try it... The waiters were friendly.

Just really bad. Over 2.5 hours of waiting time, unfriendly staff and, to top it all off, we got the wrong food. Not recommended, I'd rather go to Burger King.!!

We have been waiting for our food for over 2 hours. When we heard the sweet wine spritzer, the waitress said that it was a woman's drink and didn't let us order it (because we were male). the other waitresses were nice. After 2 hours and 30 minutes we got our food. It didn't taste good and 4 things were wrong in 3 out of 6 dishes. Just disappointed, never again.

We had to wait over 2 hours for our food. 3 people got the wrong food. When asked they said "I'm sorry, I didn't take the order". The employees themselves were friendly.
