Excellent restaurant, even if you just need a quick coffee and dessert on a Sunday. We discovered it by chance, as a train delay left us stranded in Kißlegg for two hours. The pleasant ambiance, friendly service, and good coffee, along with the delicious dessert, quickly made us forget our disappointment.

Very friendly and attentive service. A pleasant conversation accompanied the meal. We had the pulled pork, which was very good. The terrace is a great place to linger. Highly recommended.

We were in the restaurant or on the terrace with our 3 children and really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty at fair prices. The service is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. We'll be back!

Beautiful, very welcoming environment, delicious local food and very kind and friendly staff. We really had a great time, it would be a real pleasure to be able to return.

We felt very comfortable with you. Why didn't we (re)discover this earlier? We still know the restaurant 50 years ago on Jägerstrasse, where Grandma Sontag served hearty meals and Willi Kling sat at the table. Back then, there were Maggi bottles with dusty lids on every table. No criticism. That was the case back then. We are very impressed with the very fine Schlosspark restaurant: -The food was very well made and what is always important to Dad: not over-salted! -The service by Anja alone was very loving and not rushed or impatient for a moment. And wow, great ice cream, in paper cups, but incredibly tasty and from the region. If we want to go out for a good meal, there are half a handful of really good restaurants in our Leutkirch +30 kilometers area. Yours comes first (alongside Urlau and Trattoria Bad Wurzach). The prices for a lovingly made (artisanal and freshly prepared) meal are good. At around 20-25 euros with drinks each person. It's better to eat very well once a week than cheaply three times a week. Super nice service, very good food again at any time

On a warm early summer evening in Kißlegg, we were looking for a restaurant with a view of the countryside and ended up on the terrace of the castle park restaurant. We found the terrace a bit sober, but it was quietly located away from the street. But the main thing was the food - and it was great! The pulled pork (always available on Fridays) came from the family butcher and was excellent: tender and with a subtle smoky aroma. The homemade barbecue sauce and cole slaw were equally good, as was a regional ice cream for dessert. If we come to Kißlegg again, we will definitely eat here again.

We went to the Schlossparkrestaurant and were very happy with the food and the service. The service was attentive and very friendly. The beer was delicious and refreshing, the coleslaw (coleslaw) was fresh and homemade! The fries were crispy, the wedges were homemade and delicious, the pulled pork was buttery and well seasoned, the BBQ sauce was homemade and very delicate, tasty and smoky. The food was plentiful and inexpensive, we felt very comfortable and would like to come back. The Schlossparkrestaurant is a real insider tip for everyone who appreciates good food and good service. 👍🏻

I rarely give 5 stars, but I think it's appropriate here. An exceptionally friendly, authentic service with a pleasantly old-fashioned understanding of hospitality significantly improves the impression of this rather simple, quiet restaurant. The dishes are excellent, although almost exclusively based around meat, which I don't think is very contemporary. Still an extremely pleasant stay. Serving three generations of the same family at the same time - even if the youngest generation can't quite see over the edge of the table yet - is extremely cuddly.

Excellent regional cuisine. Highly recommended.

Bright, well-attended restaurant on weekends. Large portions of the main courses. Everything delicious. Service is fast and friendly.

The ambience seems a bit “canteen-like”, but the extremely friendly service makes up for this point and makes you feel at home. Many others could learn a lesson from this. Food was ready quickly, generous portions and really tasty. I will definitely go there again 🤩👌🏻

Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt, obwohl wir schon zu fortgeschrittener Stunde kamen, erhielten einen schönen Platz und wurden wirklich sehr, sehr herzlich bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr gutes Essen sowie Service, war schon öfters dort und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Bei sontag's ist man zu jeder Gelegenheit perfekt aufgehoben. Küchenchef Günther zaubert von gut bürgerlich über saisonal bis speziell alles auf den Teller. Der Service in einem Wort: perfekt. Unaufdringlich, freundlich, flott....und für Sonderwünsche jederzeit ansprechbar.

Hier war gestern alles perfekt. Superfreundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen (Tip: am Freitag das Pulled Pork). Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 🙂

If you want to get a taste of the traditional schwäbisch cuisine this restaurant is perfect for it!! They offer mostly traditional dishes like "Käsespätzle". Unfortunately there are not a lot of vegetarian or vegan options. The portions are huge and everything taste amazing. The service is extremely friendly. Music for the ambience would be nice.

An sich ein nettes Restaurant mit gutem Service. Aus meiner Sicht für Vegetarier aber nur bedingt zu empfehlen (keine Auswahlmöglichkeit).

Preis -Leistung stimmt! Die Küche arbeitet 1A! Respekt! Sehr kurze Wartezeit und leckeres Essen. Die Bedienung verdient ebenfalls eine positive Erwähnung. Lediglich das Ambiente ist nicht besonders ansprechend.

Sehr nette Bedienung und super Essen. Sehr schnell an den Tisch gebracht. Habe Salat mit Rinderstreifen bestellt. Es waren 4 Fleischstücke. Trotzdem sehr weich und die Portion riesig. Sehr lecker.

So nette Bedienung habe ich noch nie erlebt. Einfach Klasse! Und das Essen sehr lecker. BBQ Freitag kann nur empfehlen!

Wir waren jetzt schon öfters im Sontags, mal mit Reservierung, mal ganz spontan und jedesmal wurden wir sehr! herzlich und warm empfangen, bekamen immer einen Tisch und immer ein sehr hochqualitatives Essen. Egal ob kalt oder warm.Das Personal lebt den Service, vorneweg Anja, und war nie unfreundlich oder "kurz angebunden". Über die Qualität/Quantität kann man nur eines sagen: SEHR GUT. Wir gehen an Weihnachten wieder ins Sontags und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf ein SuperWeihnachtsmenü!!

Wir wurden wieder herzlich empfangen und hatten auf der Terrasse einen wunderbaren Platz an einem herrlichen Sommerabend. Dazu kommt noch der schöne Blick in den Schlosspark. Wir freuten uns schon auf das wunderbare Essen das wir wieder bekommen werden und wurden dann wieder positiv überrascht, was aus der Küche von Günther kam. Einer von uns war das erste Mal hier mit dabei und sagte, das ist ja ein Geheimtipp, den ich mir unbedingt merken muss und mit meinen Freunden wieder hier herkommen. Die Verabschiedung war wieder genau so herzlich wie der Empfang.

Einen Schönen Herbsttag in Gemüdlicher Atmosphäre Ausklingen zu lassen ist das eine ,aber dann noch Wie Gott in Frankreich schlemmen zu Dürfen ist eine Hervoragende Beschliessung eines Tages .Besser geht's Kaum.Ich Danke Dem Gesamten Personal für Diesen Schönen Aufenthalt

War ganz lecker. Gut bürgerliches Restaurant. Hat eine sehr schöne Terrasse. Die Karte ist zwar etwas klein dafür ist alles frisch ;-) Wir werden wieder kommen.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen war frisch und gut aber nicht überragend. Die Auswahl könnte etwas größer sein. Schöner Ausblick von der Terrasse aus.
