Sir Henry Fischbistro am Hafen in Ueckermünde

We were “guests” there on October 5th, 2024! A lady was the service person! Even the entrance to the snack bar is an imposition! Wooden pallets (quite high) were stacked and then on top of them was a rather curved metal plate (very slippery)! Not handicapped accessible at all!!!!! The dining room was unclean! The tables were not wiped! Things didn't look any better in the preparation area! The fish burgers were an imposition! I've never had meatballs of such poor quality! Since I'm diabetic, I tortured myself with one! Unfortunately the other one ended up in the trash! There were more potatoes and breading in the fish burger than fish! Plus it's completely over-seasoned! I live here and like to support our dealers, but unfortunately that's not possible in this case! But enough tourists come in the summer They eat it without any problems! They probably don't know a good fish cutlet!

Friendly service! The fried fish was freshly made, just like the fried potatoes! I would order the same again.

Great place to get a Backfisch Brötchen right in the heart of Stadthafen Ueckermark. Made fresh and hot with an excellent remoulade sauce. They have lots of other options and you can get a cold Lübzer, sit by the water and enjoy it even more.

Very nice location, clean, friendly and not too expensive with plenty of toppings in the rolls (I've gotten much worse eel rolls for significantly more money!). Was a very pleasant surprise when passing through!

We arrived there this afternoon completely starving and left happy and full. Sir Henry is a very likeable, cool guy, the prices are more than fair, the portions are gigantic and the food is amazing. We are on holiday here until next weekend and will definitely visit Sir Henry again. Thanks for the delicious food! PS: We didn't find the tables dirty either, some people always have something to complain about

Fish snack in the harbor, nice, good location and okay in terms of price

Great location in Ueckermünde. However, I was a bit disappointed with the fish sandwich. For me personally, the roll is a cheap baked product, the herring fillet was okay, the vegetables were fresh, nothing more. Baked fish is a frozen product, which doesn't necessarily have to be bad. But for me it's no longer average. Therefore only 3 stars

Good and varied selection of fish, extremely tasty, generous portions, fair prices. The operator (Sir Henry? 😉) has a Nordic sense of humor, wonderful! We enjoyed it very much and had fun. We had the fish platter for 2 people with fried potatoes (two different fried fish fillets each, fried squid rings, nice and soft, smoked salmon, matjes and sour herring, coleslaw and cucumber slices) it would have easily been enough for 3. You sit comfortably at simple tables the water or on the shore with a beautiful view of the bridge in front of the harbor. The smoked fish we took home, butterfish, halibut and eel, was super fresh and delicious. 😋 Thank you, we would love to come back and definitely recommend it.

We ate there on a recommendation and were sometimes very disappointed. Since this is only a one-man operation, the hygiene on the tables and chairs leaves a lot to be desired. Had a cutter plate. The crabs were not fried. The fried potatoes were swimming in fat. See photo. Unfortunately not again.

The hit is the friendly team behind the counter. The food was great, the port brings in something “fresh”. All in all, great for a quick bite in between meals. Keep it up! 😃

Everything was fresh, the best majestic bread rolls ever eaten there

The fish rolls and all other dishes are freshly prepared. The master at the pans always has a relaxed saying on his lips, always friendly. You can enjoy outside and inside. A must for us when we are on vacation in Ueckermünde!

Here frozen goods are served with watery “remoulade” in half a baguette. Wordless "cook" and poor hygiene. At the same time, money is touched with cold fish in large tupperware and then immediately put into the greasy chip bowl. You couldn't see anything about washing your hands. There are leftovers on the tables everywhere. I hope for everyone who plans to eat something in this bistro that they will do a little work on their behavior and hygiene. In the end I can only advise against eating something there.

Food nothing special, normal snack bar food, ambience very nice, unfortunately unfriendly chef and everything disgusting, sticky and dirty. There are better addresses to eat really fresh fish.

A must for Ueckermünde visitors and fish lovers 🥰 and if you don't like them, you can get schnitzel and fried potatoes ☺️ everything is delicious 😋 and very friendly people 💯 Recommendation!!!

I got a fried fish roll and it tasted like my mother was cooking and she only makes ready-made food. Simply disgusting. I threw the food away on the way and couldn't eat any more🤢. And so that no one feels attacked here, that's my opinion.

Baked fish there is absolutely not freshly breaded but rather frozen, and it was treated stupidly because I didn't give it a "clear message". Absolutely no satiety, more of a queasy stomach feeling because the fried fish wasn't cooked properly. Tables extremely unclean and almost disgusting. I really wonder why the store is still there. I'm really thinking about sending the health department there... so absolutely not recommended!!

Food is very good and recommended. I had the cod with fried potatoes. Big portion. Food is prepared directly by the chef. Therefore, if there is a rush, waiting times must be planned. There is no table service. Bottled drinks only. The owner often has a quick saying up his sleeve. Prices are reasonable. I liked it.

A real Nordmann: endearingly demure with a permanent smile at the corners of his mouth and a suitable and often surprising saying ready for everyone! Waiting for his routinely and calmly prepared and actually very tasty food was really fun! Thank you Sir Henry 🤗

My family and I were treated badly by a salesman who made fun of our poor knowledge of German. He didn't want to serve us in English. While handing out the food, he muttered something under his breath. Very rude service. We will never come back here again.

A very cozy story even in winter!

We were there every day, even if our holiday home was 20km away. The fish sandwiches were always freshly prepared and extremely tasty. The salesman always had a relaxed saying on his lips and even if there were a lot of people there, it was still quick. For us it was the favorite fish man!!! 😊 We wish him a relaxing winter break and say thank you for the nice hospitality. “Yes yes” greets you from Upper Lusatia in Saxony.

There were three of us and we ate three matjes rolls. It took a relatively long time because the chef was alone and a lot of people wanted to eat. Taste was so-so. Unfortunately the fish came in a soft/cold baguette, everything was quite neutral and the fish didn't have as strong a taste as we are used to. A bit of annoyance in the kitchen and several hours later we all have a strange feeling in our stomachs. I don't recommend it here, it's a shame because it's a nice place to sit in the harbor.

Dear Mr. Ahl, With your moody manner and the jokes you gave us yesterday, you really ruined our day on vacation. An apparent acoustic misunderstanding must have upset you. We didn't go into it any further and let it go. However, from our point of view, the bad reviews here on Google Maps now seem to be authentic and justified. You and your fishing boat were highly recommended to us by locals. But now we've lost our appetite for your fish. If you don't like tourists and can't handle criticism, please reconsider your business. It certainly has nothing to do with humor and the North German way.

Rustic atmosphere including a rustic chef. No frills. Honest and good food at fair prices.

Am Fischkutter im Stadthafen hat sich ein maritimes Angebot etabliert, welches seiniges sucht.... Ein heimisches Original, mit dem Mund am richtigen Fleck, bedient unermüdlich die Gästeschaar, ob mit Fischbrötchen, Zanderfilet, Calamaris, deftigen Bratkartoffeln, Pommes und vielem mehr....

Alles spitze, Fischbrötchen lecker und freundliche und lustige Bedienung.

Mir vollkommen egal ob der Matjes im Baguette serviert wird oder in eines dieser Brötchen die es an jeder Ecke gibt. Der nette Herr ging auf meine Sonderwünsche ein und es schmeckte gut. Zum Kaffee dann noch einen lockeren Spruch in wirklich schöner Umgebung und schon war gute Laune garantiert. Auf Wunsch dann schon ab 10.00 Uhr gute Calamaris mit wohlschmeckender Remoulade und leckeren Kraut-Beilagensalat, wenn das kein Service ist.

Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht- Fischbrötchen sehr lecker und frisch. Lustige Bedienung und immer ein netten Spruch auf Lager. Wir kommen wieder!

Man musste lange warten, da nur eine Person den Laden geschmissen hat. Dafür ist er aber für Norddeutsche sehr lustig und aufgeschlossen. Unser Bismarck Brötchen war ein Durchschnitt und irgendjemand muss wohl sehr verliebt gewesen sein beim einlegen des Fisches. Beim warten ist mir aufgefallen, dass das meiste TK Ware ist und alles in einer Friteuse zubereitet worden ist. Mal die Pommes, dann der Fisch. Die Bratkartoffeln wurden aber in der Pfanne zubereitet. Ehrlich gesagt, habe ich schon viel besser gegessen. Ach, und das Bargeld nicht vergessen. Kartenzahlung scheint noch nicht bekannt zu sein.

War sehr schön hier, waren mit 11 Leuten da, unkompliziert und sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter. Essen war gut und das Ambiente im Stadthafen ist einfach schön...

Mirko, die Legende unter den Fischverkäufern. Wenn wir hier im Urlaub sind, ist der Besuch Pflicht.

Ich schließe mich dem Vorredner an! Hier gibt's die besten Fischbrötchen. Ambiente ist sehr urig und der Chef ist unglaublich. Mir hat es hier sehr gefallen. Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es für die Selbstabholung und die Preise.

Gutes Essen auf rustikalen Schiff

Stück blasses, trockenes Baguette, Remoulade die vor dem Berg Zwiebeln zu fliehen versucht, 3 Scheiben frische Gurke, warum auch immer, das Salatblatt hab ich abbestellt. Bitter oder Margarine als Ersatz für die Remoulade gab es leider nicht. Warum ist es so schwer ein leckeres Fischbrötchen zu bekommen...?

Man kann zu sehen wie das bestellte Essen angerichtet wird während man auf die eigene Bestellung wartet . Manchmal leider zu lange 😞 Ansonsten war das Essen sehr lecker 👋

Die besten Fischbrötchen am Haff. Mega Lecker und super Aussicht direkt im Hafen. Wenn man zur richtigen Zeit kommt, kann man sehen, wie die Brücke geöffnet wird.

Sehr leckeres Essen wie man es im Norden möchte. Bratkartoffeln sind lecker. Natürlich ein Krabbenbrötchen Natürlich auch. Sehr nett zum Sitzen und zum verweilen. Die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Toiletten sind gegenüber und auch sehr sauber. Gerne wieder.

Einfach ein original, Preis Leistung TOP ,klar könnte man was verbessern .... aber essen ist einfach und gut und verdammt lecker. An die Leute, ist halt ein Imbiss, mit frisch Zubereitung . Essen wohlfühlen Punkt.
