I ordered a Bismarck roll, with little fish and lots of cabbage. I've never had such a bad Bismarck roll. It used to be a good place for us. No longer recommended. Never again.

Delicious fish sandwiches are freshly prepared on the boat. A salmon sandwich (stuffed to the brim) for €5.50—what more could you want?

The food was great, but the service was dismal. You're not greeted here. Someone orders, and no matter how big or small the order, it's completely prepared and processed before the next customer is even contacted. This delays your stay immeasurably.

The "one-man show" isn't responsible for the slightly longer wait (bistro = faster than a restaurant), so this isn't included in the review. Butter mackerel with fried potatoes (15 euros) - inedible. I put the plate back after a quick taste, especially since everything seemed very unhygienic. Now, I'm not an expert, but the conditions didn't seem up to today's standards. Perhaps the "lone wolf" can make other dishes or fish sandwiches better. It's not for me.

A lovely place, a snack bar on a boat right by the drawbridge in Ueckermünde harbor. Seating is available under cover on the boat or directly on the pier. Prices are reasonable, the warm-weather food looked good, and the fish sandwiches were good. It's a shame that on Sunday afternoon, the only person running the place was stoically working the line, which unfortunately led to (unnecessarily) long waits...

The food is at its limit; the health department should take a closer look at this place. Freshness isn't a priority here, and we're not even talking about hygiene. The fries also looked like they'd been fried three times before; they were in a plastic bowl, and by the time they were tipped into the oil, they were already brown. Thanks, NEVER AGAIN, and I don't recommend them at all...!!! But of course, that's just a snapshot; everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to eat here...! Every field chicken in the Bundeswehr is more hygienic.

We visited "Sir Henry" a total of three times during our vacation, and I highly recommend this snack bar brimming with character and charm. The restaurant is located on a ship in the Ueckermünde harbor, and the owner is simultaneously a chef, server, and advertising icon (depicted on the side of the ship as a true sea dog, ahem, captain). The fish sandwiches are freshly prepared and taste great, with generous toppings. The same goes for the hot meals: fried fish with salad and fried potatoes, generous portions and very tasty.

Ahoy, landlubbers...come aboard and enjoy the delicious fish sandwiches (the Edelmatjes (matjes herring) is a hit). The prices are fair for the amount you get. We and our crew certainly enjoyed them. The remoulade is homemade and tastes great with the fish without being overpowering. We'll definitely be back...😄👍🏻🥙

Since we had to wait a long time, as only one person is in charge of everything, and we were able to observe the work for a while, we lost our appetite for a fish sandwich. Hygiene in the shop is absolutely nonexistent. During preparation, they simply wipe the leftover food off returned plates by hand, and on the way back, they pick up the lettuce leaves for garnishing. And all of this is done with just their hands, without gloves!!!

The charming little town of Ueckermünde on the Szczecin Lagoon offers – you wouldn't believe it – ample and free parking right by the harbor (parking lot by the open-air theater) – where else can you find something like that? And while you're by the water, a hearty fish snack bar is a must. The iconic floating fish snack bar "Sir Henry" at the Old Bollwerk awaits hungry hikers and vacationers with heart and soul, serving hearty fish dishes. Guests who don't want to eat with china and silverware and who also quickly wipe the table themselves can enjoy rustic fish sandwiches or various fried fish dishes, as well as meat and bratwurst. OK – the owner still needs to think a bit about cleanliness and hygiene, so it's probably not for the faint-hearted, but it's a good place for a quick snack, not least because it's delicious.

We are thrilled and would happily recommend this wonderful place, and especially the chef with his amiable personality and, above all, his culinary skills. The chef conjured up a sumptuous wedding menu for us, and despite the rain, our 9th wedding anniversary at Sir Henry's was a fantastic experience. Great! We'll be back! Best wishes from Saxony.

I ordered, but unfortunately received the wrong thing. My child doesn't like tartar sauce. My complaint was dismissed very rudely. So I had to order a new one for my child. They also charged extra for the packaging so that I could at least take the incorrectly delivered food with me and eat it later. So you're not allowed to order something here that should be prepared differently than usual. The service quickly deteriorated. This was the third time we've eaten here, but probably the last.

The matjes rolls tasted the best here.

The fishing boat is idyllically located at the Ueckermünde harbor, and its cozy ambiance invites you to linger. The view of the water is particularly beautiful – and of the little ducks that curiously stop by, hoping for a crumb or two. You immediately feel welcome and completely at home here. The food is simply delicious – with a subtle, individual touch that you don't find everywhere. The chef definitely knows his craft and conjures up delicious dishes with heart and skill. A real insider tip for anyone who appreciates good food and a relaxed atmosphere right on the water. We would love to come back!

A beautiful and charming place worth stopping for a while. The fish bar is moored at the drawbridge. With a bit of luck, you can watch the bridge being raised and yachts or motorboats passing by. It is always worth trying a roll with fish.

We were “guests” there on October 5th, 2024! A lady was the service person! Even the entrance to the snack bar is an imposition! Wooden pallets (quite high) were stacked and then on top of them was a rather curved metal plate (very slippery)! Not handicapped accessible at all!!!!! The dining room was unclean! The tables were not wiped! Things didn't look any better in the preparation area! The fish burgers were an imposition! I've never had meatballs of such poor quality! Since I'm diabetic, I tortured myself with one! Unfortunately the other one ended up in the trash! There were more potatoes and breading in the fish burger than fish! Plus it's completely over-seasoned! I live here and like to support our dealers, but unfortunately that's not possible in this case! But enough tourists come in the summer They eat it without any problems! They probably don't know a good fish cutlet!

Great place to get a Backfisch Brötchen right in the heart of Stadthafen Ueckermark. Made fresh and hot with an excellent remoulade sauce. They have lots of other options and you can get a cold Lübzer, sit by the water and enjoy it even more.

Very nice location, clean, friendly and not too expensive with plenty of toppings in the rolls (I've gotten much worse eel rolls for significantly more money!). Was a very pleasant surprise when passing through!

We arrived there this afternoon completely starving and left happy and full. Sir Henry is a very likeable, cool guy, the prices are more than fair, the portions are gigantic and the food is amazing. We are on holiday here until next weekend and will definitely visit Sir Henry again. Thanks for the delicious food! PS: We didn't find the tables dirty either, some people always have something to complain about

Fish snack in the harbor, nice, good location and okay in terms of price

Great location in Ueckermünde. However, I was a bit disappointed with the fish sandwich. For me personally, the roll is a cheap baked product, the herring fillet was okay, the vegetables were fresh, nothing more. Baked fish is a frozen product, which doesn't necessarily have to be bad. But for me it's no longer average. Therefore only 3 stars

We ate there on a recommendation and were sometimes very disappointed. Since this is only a one-man operation, the hygiene on the tables and chairs leaves a lot to be desired. Had a cutter plate. The crabs were not fried. The fried potatoes were swimming in fat. See photo. Unfortunately not again.

Good and varied selection of fish, extremely tasty, generous portions, fair prices. The operator (Sir Henry? 😉) has a Nordic sense of humor, wonderful! We enjoyed it very much and had fun. We had the fish platter for 2 people with fried potatoes (two different fried fish fillets each, fried squid rings, nice and soft, smoked salmon, matjes and sour herring, coleslaw and cucumber slices) it would have easily been enough for 3. You sit comfortably at simple tables the water or on the shore with a beautiful view of the bridge in front of the harbor. The smoked fish we took home, butterfish, halibut and eel, was super fresh and delicious. 😋 Thank you, we would love to come back and definitely recommend it.

Everything was fresh, the best majestic bread rolls ever eaten there

Here frozen goods are served with watery “remoulade” in half a baguette. Wordless "cook" and poor hygiene. At the same time, money is touched with cold fish in large tupperware and then immediately put into the greasy chip bowl. You couldn't see anything about washing your hands. There are leftovers on the tables everywhere. I hope for everyone who plans to eat something in this bistro that they will do a little work on their behavior and hygiene. In the end I can only advise against eating something there.

The fish rolls and all other dishes are freshly prepared. The master at the pans always has a relaxed saying on his lips, always friendly. You can enjoy outside and inside. A must for us when we are on vacation in Ueckermünde!

I got a fried fish roll and it tasted like my mother was cooking and she only makes ready-made food. Simply disgusting. I threw the food away on the way and couldn't eat any more🤢. And so that no one feels attacked here, that's my opinion.

Baked fish there is absolutely not freshly breaded but rather frozen, and it was treated stupidly because I didn't give it a "clear message". Absolutely no satiety, more of a queasy stomach feeling because the fried fish wasn't cooked properly. Tables extremely unclean and almost disgusting. I really wonder why the store is still there. I'm really thinking about sending the health department there... so absolutely not recommended!!
