Waow! Great food, the middle-eastern type of food that I like and is so hard to find in high quality here in Germany. The dish I took was perfect, with really good meat(I took lamb) and great tasting salad and fries. With Baklawah as desert at the end of the meal, everything was just right. Loved the people too, so nice and warm and welcoming, I felt at home. You'll get none of the coldness and all warmth you can get, really liked the vibes.

The meat here is great. We always order the lamb rump with rice, and even the rice is particularly delicious. The kebab is good compared to most Schwenningen kebabs. The vegetables are fresh and the meat tastes good.

Very tasty and the doner is big

I had Iskender kebab for the first time, and it was absolutely fantastic. While not exactly cheap, it was a kebab made of sliced meat, without any minced meat. Deliciously served on toasted bread cubes with a fruity sauce and a yogurt dip. Absolutely delicious. I'd love to come back!

I paid €31 for a doner kebab plate with fries and pide!!! All I can say about the quality is that my girlfriend and I threw half of it away. The doner meat was really bad, burnt, and the taste was very bad. The staff were unfriendly and arrogant. I was here again a few months ago to pick up a pizza and when I asked why there was some kind of salami on my pizza, which had nothing to do with ham and tasted like cardboard, the arrogant guy told me "we're Muslim and we don't have pork ham" but they do have ham pizza on offer!!! They probably don't understand here that real ham only comes from pigs!! Just a note: at every other doner kebab restaurant in Schwenningen you can get ham pizza with regular pork ham, but it's better not to order that here! You can also eat better and cheaper at every other doner kebab restaurant in Schwenningen than here.

I rarely write reviews, but this food practically compelled me to. As a Cologne native, I'm no stranger to Turkish cuisine, and I've had a few good experiences with Adana kebabs. Here, it was very juicy and seasoned to perfection. The rice was also cooked to perfection. I also got to try the Beyti kebab, which was truly amazing. You can tell how much love went into the food.

Since 2022, I have been in VS twice a year for work reasons for about a week and each time I eat 1-2 times at the Neckar Grill! Every single time so far has been super delicious, from Adana Kebap, Dürüm and Pide to the lentil soup with delicious flatbread! Plus, the people there are so incredibly friendly, you just feel welcome! In particular, the woman who works there (she has everything under control in the restaurant!) is such a warm person and always laughs with you! Price-performance is also great! Can unreservedly recommend the Neckar Grill!

The Neckargrill is absolutely recommended! The food is always fresh, super tasty and the portions are generous. The kebab and grilled dishes are particularly great – juicy, well seasoned and simply perfectly prepared. The staff is friendly, quick and accommodating. I was there for the first time. The ambience was nice. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as expected. I ordered a soul with turkey ham, which unfortunately I didn't like. There was little cheese in the contents, the ham smelled and the surface of the soul was a bit burnt. My friend's Dürüm had large onions, which he took out. Food two stars, service 4 and ambience 4, so overall I rate my impression 3 stars.

We had the grill plate for two people with extra requests that were also implemented. The food was very tasty and perfectly prepared and a third person could easily have eaten with us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and quite cozy for a snack. All in all, it was very pleasant to eat there and the leftovers were packed up for us to take with us. Neckar Grill offers very tasty specialties, meat is super tasty and good spices, salad is very freshly prepared, regardless of whether pizza or kebab tastes simply the best in the area for me. After a long search we finally found a restaurant where we ate very tasty meat. The meat was very seasoned, grilled very well, juicy and simply very tasty!! Waiting time only 12 minutes The place was full and everything looked very professional But now to the point: Food: My kebab cost 8€ (24/11/2024), which is actually reasonable for a good kebab, but in the area I often pay significantly less (e.g. 6€). The kebab bread is of normal size but not well filled, you can get more for less elsewhere. In my opinion, the problem (in addition to the taste and quality) is also the size, because it is not well filled, and I found it to be only half the size of the others that were distributed in the store (I had to take away). The taste was rather bland. But the quality brings me to this review, I had 3 flexes in the meat, one of them was large and unchewable and I spat it out straight away, the other 2 were smaller and I swallowed them. Well, the shop advertises kebabs instead of doner kebabs, but if the meat is like the sole of a shoe then it's questionable.... No idea, I thought I'd go there to get food, but I'll save myself the extra trip in the future .

The worst iskender I've ever tried. We couldn't finish it. They couldn't keep up with the service as well. One of the worst I've ever been in. I had to get up at least a few times to ask them about the food. Expensive as well. Would not recommend a bit! It would be better if you didn't cook the iskender in tomato paste soup. It is impossible to taste the meat. If you can't, you need to remove it from the menu. We went at a crowded time and the service was poor. I have never seen such poor service in my life.
