Shiva in Fürth

Hier hat alles gestimmt. Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker und reichhaltig. Die Schärfe bei den Hauptgerichten kann man wählen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und denkt aktiv mit. Wir saßen im Außenbereich sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Man sollte sich aber darauf einrichten, dass die Tische voll werden. Alles in Allem kann ich Restaurant Shiva uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Angenehme Atmosphäre die zum bleiben wieder kommen einlädt. Die Gerichte ist schmackhaft und authentisch. Ebenfalls ist das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Musik ist auch super angenehm. Doppeltes Lob von meinem Begleiter. Komme gerne wieder.

Unglaublich leckeres und authentisches indisches Essen, egal was man bestellt, alles schmeckt super gut. Der Mango-Lassi ist ein Muss zu den Speisen. Wir kommen seit Jahren hier her, der Chef ist sehr herzlich und alle Mitarbeiter so freundlich. Es ist eine Herzensempfehlung!

Ich gehe schon seit einiger Zeit regelmäßig in dieses indische Restaurant und bin jedes Mal wieder begeistert. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und qualitativ konstant auf einem hohen Niveau.✨ Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die große Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten – da ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und man merkt, dass viel Wert auf Vielfalt gelegt wird. Außerdem kommt das Essen erstaunlich schnell, was ich gerade bei einem Restaurantbesuch sehr schätze.😊 Die Mitarbeiter sind durchweg freundlich und sorgen für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Ambiente ist zudem richtig toll und die Einrichtung hat ihren ganz eigenen, besonderen Stil – auf eine positive Art, die den Besuch noch ein bisschen einzigartiger macht.🥰 Für mich ist das definitiv die erste Anlaufstelle in Fürth, wenn ich Lust auf indisches Essen habe. Ich komme immer wieder gerne!🙏🏽

Unfassbar gute Küche, sehr freundliche Bedienung und hübsches Ambiente

Wir waren nun das zweite Mal hier, weil wir vor einem halben Jahr sehr angetan waren von den reichhaltigen und feinen Geschmacksnoten. Dieses Mal konnte es leider nicht ganz mit der Qualität vom Oktober 2025 mithalten, aber es war nach wie vor sehr gut. Wenn man Lamm bestellt, wird leider am Fleisch sehr gespart. Fast nur Soße und wenige Fleischstücke für ein Gericht, das im Bereich von 17€ liegt. Ich fände es ehrlicher, den Preis zu erhöhen anstatt die Fleischmenge zu reduzieren, kann aber nachvollziehen, dass es heutzutage teilweise schwer ist für Gastronomen, das richtige Preis/Leistungs-Maß zu finden, ohne dass die Gäste ausbleiben. Ob wir irgendwann nochmals hingehen? Wahrscheinlich schon, aber nicht so bald.

Es ist einfach mein Lieblingsrestaurant! Essen ist super, die Portionen groß und der Service einfach total herzlich.

Wir haben uns entschlossen zu Weihnachten immer Indisch essen zu gehen. Und immer wieder wird es Shiva. Sehr nettes Personal. Super leckeres Essen. Egal was man ausprobiert, nie ist was falsches dabei. Egal ob Vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch. Mango Lassi ist das einzige was wir immer fest bestellen.

Wir sind sehr begeistert und wollen unbedingt wieder kommen. Alles war sehr lecker: Salat, Vorspeisen, Lamm und Veggie-Hauptgerichte, wobei es davon eine riesen Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten und Fleischvariationen gibt. Super aufmerksam und freundlich und sauber.

1A! Wir kommen öfters - immer sehr freundlich & sehr herzlich. Alles mit Liebe gekocht. Auch auf extra Wünsche wegen Nuss Allergie wird drauf eingegangen. Alles frisch und sehr sehr lecker. Nur zu empfehlen ✨

Ich war kürzlich in diesem indischen Restaurant und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen – das Essen war wirklich köstlich! Ich habe fast alle indischen Restaurants in Bayern und Franken ausprobiert, und dieses hier ist mit Abstand das beste. Es bietet ein unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und die Portionen sind im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants riesig. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Die Preise sind zudem sehr günstig. Man kann auch extra Reis bestellen und bekommt ihn kostenlos dazu.

I can't understand all the good reviews at all... I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala here. It simply tasted of NOTHING 🥺 I love Indian food, and this was, unfortunately, the worst meal I've ever had.

Everything was perfect, incredibly good food and fast service! I don't usually like lamb, but at Shiva I only eat it – it tastes amazing! Still, we come mainly because of the owner :)

We came here spontaneously and never would have thought we'd find such a lovely Indian restaurant. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I didn't realize the mix of half-timbered, medieval, and Indian style would work so well. The service was super attentive and friendly; our drinks and food arrived without long waits. They also always asked if we were satisfied. The food was excellent, and the different spiciness levels were explained beforehand and then adjusted to our preferences. We'd love to come back next time we're in the area.

North Indian ambience and dishes, very rustic, service good, but could be a bit more structured and faster.

After a long absence (the restaurant is relatively far from where we live), we returned to Shiva, and weren't disappointed; in fact, we were pleasantly surprised. What Vijay and his dedicated team served was wonderful: fresh, sophisticated presentation, excellently seasoned, diverse, and, above all, very authentic. Indescribable, you have to try it for yourself...

Indian flair meets Franconian coziness The Shiva in Fürth is truly a special restaurant: It looks like a quaint German pub – but combines the rustic coziness with Indian wall motifs and a charm all its own. You almost feel like you're in a small side street – wonderfully atmospheric and lovingly decorated. The food was truly delicious – just as I've come to expect from an Indian restaurant. I particularly liked that the waiter asked me directly how spicy I wanted it. I opted for the original spicy version – and it was just right for me! The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right. A great restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy Indian food in an unusually beautiful atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

I had garlic naan, lamb rogan josh, and mango lassi. And everything was really delicious. The naan had plenty of garlic, and the lamb was buttery soft. I also thought the decor was cool...I've never been to India, but if it really looks like that, then I like it 🙂 The service was also friendly and attentive. I'd go back anytime!

Very friendly staff and delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. I think it's great that there are so many different vegetarian dishes. The desserts were also very traditional and delicious. A great restaurant! Rarely eaten so deliciously. When the food arrived at our table, it was so fresh from the clay oven that it was still steaming and sizzling. The waitresses came to the tables several times in the evening and asked if everything was okay and if we were satisfied. Really great!

We very rarely give reviews but unfortunately the visit was so bad that I would like to share the experience. We were the only guests. When we came in, we had the feeling that we were a nuisance. The reaction from the service staff was almost frightened as to what we wanted here. At the table we found the half-used place setting from the previous guest, which we put away ourselves. Unfortunately, the furnishings look as if everything you ever got from a junk imp had been hung up in the restaurant. The chai tea and the mango lassi were good. The naan too. My husband ordered the Chili Paneer dish. We couldn't believe our eyes when we were presented with a few pieces of vegetables and cheese in this typical “sweet chili” sauce from the supermarket. This had absolutely nothing to do with an Indian curry dish. When my husband brought himself to complain to the court, the reaction was very rude and the card was read out again where we should have “read it out”. No, I'm sorry, but as passionate eaters in Indian restaurants, we expected everything except this ready-made, store-bought, terrible sweet chili sauce. As a replacement dish, he ordered vegetables and cheese from the tandoori. That was ok, you could eat it. But the vegetables and cheese definitely didn't see any tandoori or other grill. It was more like steamed without any color or roasted flavors in a sauce that was ok. Overall, unfortunately, a stay that will be remembered very negatively. We only went there because we were given a voucher. Never again.

The food was not that great at all, I would say below average. They should improve the quality of the food. I ordered butter paneer masala which was not good the taste was bland, the rice that came with it where not good either it just had yellow food colour on it. I also ordered butter naan and garlic naan they were good.

For us the best Indian in the entire metropolitan region. Super nice and nice employees - the boss himself is also extremely nice and jokes with the guests. “Who wants to breathe fire with the chili naan here?”

Long overdue review on my part. Eating on site or delivered at Shiva's. The food, although inexpensive, is more than just good - it's simply delicious. In particular, we regularly choose the lentil soup, garlic naan, raita, pakoras, palak paneer, and pretty much any kind of chicken - the mango lassi is also great. Thanks to Shiva, you are number one in Fürth in my heart.
