SHIRO Sushi Ammersee GmbH in Schondorf am Ammersee

There's something special about eating sushi in an old Bavarian inn and restaurant, with Lake Ammersee beckoning. The sushi was delicious, and they also offer some unusual varieties. As a suggestion, I would like to see more fish varieties beyond salmon and tuna.

Update: The service was terrible last time. They were extremely rude. They poured dry ice water all over our sushi and then just left. But the food was otherwise delicious.

Bad salmon, carelessly made We ordered sushi for pickup – unfortunately, the quality was disappointing. The salmon was extremely pale, almost white – where do you get something like that? It was also sliced ​​wafer-thin (maximum 0.5 mm) and very uneven. The sushi rolls were poorly rolled and fell apart immediately. Unfortunately, you can tell that the craftsmanship wasn't meticulous. For the price, I expected much more.

My review only applies to the sushi place. The sushi is very tasty and also offers vegetarian/vegan alternatives, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. A great price/performance ratio that most Munich restaurants can still learn from.

A very successful gastronomic concept that also impresses in terms of taste. We were in the restaurant today and loved it! My recommendation for meat eaters: try the ramen soup with beef - the beef literally melts in your mouth and was a very special treat. We can only report positive things about the service - we were very friendly, Warmly and unobtrusively attentive service.

Very nice sushi restaurant. Friendly service. A great selection of different sushi specialties. The restaurant also has a great beer garden. The prices are perfectly reasonable for a sushi restaurant.

It's actually very tasty sushi, but the larger rolls (e.g. futonaki) are cut incredibly thin, which is almost a bit cheeky for the price. You can get significantly more in other sushi restaurants in the area - almost twice as much. Then you think about whether you order/eat there, especially since the minimum life prices are sometimes really excessive.

We called at short notice to ask for a table for 4 and were able to get a seat in the next room. While the main room was busy, we were the only guests in the next room. We were asked if that was okay for us, which it was, but unfortunately the room wasn't particularly attractively decorated. Overall, our visit to SHIRO was okay. The food was delicious and fairly priced, which is definitely a plus. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. Although the staff was very friendly, the service was extremely slow. We also had the feeling that we had been somewhat forgotten in the next room. Our drinks were empty and no one asked if we wanted a refill. We could have pointed this out ourselves, but when I go to a restaurant I expect things like this to automatically be taken into account. The small dessert for the children, which was delicious, was also served between the empty sushi plates, which spoiled the enjoyment somewhat. Overall, our visit to SHIRO was okay, but due to the slow service and neglected service, it will probably be our only visit. It's nice to have a sushi restaurant in Schondorf, but unfortunately the overall impression leaves a lot to be desired.

We stopped by for lunch. What a positive surprise! Where Sushi meets the Grillteller and Wienerschnitzel!!! A wonderful mix of both worlds.

The four of us went to this restaurant for the first time today and were thrilled. The sushi was fresh and really tasty. The service was excellent and extremely friendly. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back.👍😁

A culinary delight in Schondorf! The food is delicious and everything is freshly prepared. The sushi selection is excellent, as are the desserts. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit noisy. This certainly won't be our last visit.

It's terrible. We ordered a lot of things, including spicy and warm rolls, but in the end, everything was mixed together. The rolls were cold, the sauces were mixed, and I didn't taste any spice. It didn't meet our expectations.

We celebrated my brother's wedding at this beautiful guesthouse, and it was simply fantastic. The sushi 🍣 was incredibly delicious, as were other treats. We slept so well. Very tasty, priced in the middle segment. You just have to be able to accept the Bavarian interior design (no problem for us), sitting outside in a beer garden atmosphere is very comfortable. The sushi rolls almost all contain a lot of Philadelphia cheese, so you have to be careful and either order the (few) rolls without Philadelphia or simply specify which rolls you would like to have less Philadelphia. Overall, a very good restaurant that we always like to visit again.

Nachdem wir erfahren haben, dass es relativ neu ist, haben wir es gestern probiert. Freundliches Personal. Gute Auswahl und das Wichtigste super leckeres Sushi und asiatisches Essen inkl. Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und das super Eis zum Nachtisch. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, überaus hilfsbereit. Wegen Zöliakie konnte ich das Sushi leider nicht essen (Reisessig mit Weizen), aber ich habe dann glutenfreie Alternativen gefunden, die sehr, sehr lecker waren. Der Außenbereich ist auch richtig schön und gemütlich. Obwohl es gar nicht in meiner Nähe ist, werde ich sicher nochmal dort essen.

Sehr netter Garten zum essen. Das Sushi war sehr lecker. Es gab für ein Sushi Restaurant eine durchschnittliche Anzahl an vegetarischen/veganen Sushis. Leider hauptsächlich auf die basic Sushis beschränkt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Vorab: das hier ist lediglich ein Restaurant-Review - wie gut das Hotel ist, kann ich nicht sagen (früher war es sehr basic, aber auch günstig). Das Restaurant hat sehr gutes Sushi zu bieten, nahe an der Spitzenqualität, die man von authentischen, teuren Sushi-Restaurants erwarten darf - und weitaus besser als das Sushi, was man immer öfter in den Theken der großen Supermärkte erhält. Service ist gut und freundlich, ein junges Team gibt sich hier sichtlich Mühe. Ambiente wird von mancher Person als wenig schön beschrieben, ich bin da nicht so kritisch. Draußen kann man sehr schön sitzen und drinnen ist's eben einfach ein nur wenig umgestalteter bayrischer Gasthof. Ich find's auf keinen Fall schlimmer als die koreanischen / chinesischen Restaurants, die nebenbei auch Sushi anbieten (Beispiel Gilching...). Von mir daher insgesamt klare 5 Sterne. Ich bin froh, dieses Restaurant in meiner Nähe zu wissen!

Es ist sehr lecker. Der Servise ist gut und der Tisch ist schön gemacht. Die Preise sind auch ok. Sas gute finde ich hier auch noch das es nicht nur Sushi falls man mit der Familie hingeht und der eine mag kein Sushi kann man trotzdem hingehen weil es gibt trotzdem was anderes Z.b. angebratende Nudeln mit Crispi Chicken. Aber es gibt auch nicht nur Fisch Sushi sondern auch Sushi mit Avocadi oder mit Frischkäse es gibt aber auch ein Süßkartoffel cury mit Reis. Es ist sehr gut

Unbedingt ausprobieren. Warum? Hervorragende Sushi, lecker und frisch, Klassiker und innovative Specials. Und wenn jemand aus der Familie keine Sushi mag, gibt's Rindsroulade oder Knödel mit Sosse. Uns gefiel auch die Kombination Biergarten/Dorfwirtshaus und leckerste japanische Küche mit guten Weinen. Ist vielleicht unüblich aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Auch sehr empfehlenswert als Dessert: Aphrodisierende Tonkabohne eng geschnürt im Himbeerleder. Wir fanden es einen puren Genuss.

Unsere Gerichte (das vegane Süßkartoffelcurry, Wakame, Asparagus-, Avocado-, Cucumber-, Tuna- und Salmon Hosomaki, Tofu Roll sowie Mango Dream) haben sehr gut geschmeckt und wurden zügig serviert. Die Gerichte wurden sehr zügig serviert und der Service war stets freundlich.

Sushi war sehr lecker, große Auswahl und angemessene Preise. Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder!

Sehr leckeres Sushi 🍣, top Service.. Meine Empfehlung

Wir waren hier an einem frühen Samstag Abend zum Essen mit zwei Kindern. An diesem Abend waren wir fast alleine, es waren also noch sehr viele Plätze frei. Im Restaurant gibt Hochstühle für Babys und auch eine Auswahl Gerichte für Kinder. Unsere Kids haben sich die gebratenen Nudeln mit gebackenem Hähnchen geteilt. Wir Erwachsene haben aus der großen Sushi-Karte ausgewählt. Es gibt schon wahnsinnig viele Varianten auszuwählen und darunter sind auch sehr ausgefallene Sushi. Es hat etwas gedauert bis das Essen kam, dafür war es aber wirklich hervorragend. Einzig die Atmosphäre ist etwas merkwürdig. Das Restaurant sieht aus wie ein urbayrisches Wirtshaus, zum Essen gibt es aber sehr modernes Sushi. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Ein Sushi Restaurant mit bayerischem Ambiente und einem schönen Ausenbereich. Ich Liebs! Bin schon öfters in Landsberg beim Shiro Sushi gewesen und war immer sehr zufrieden. Bedienung super freundlich, Sushi exakt genau so super wie in Landsberg, preisleistung ist meiner Meinung absolut gerechtfertigt. Alles in allem top und ich muss nurnoch die halbe Strecke fahren um gut Sushi zu essen :). Ich wünsche Euch einen erfolgreichen Start. Weiter so! Komme gerne wieder.

Qualität des Sushi war sehr gut! Sehr nette und kinderfreundliche Bedienung. Es gab etwas Probleme bei der Bezahlung mit dem Handy, besser eine EC Karte mitnehmen.
