People are so nice and food is so good! Update: New guy is extremely rude and unprofessional. Ordered vegan döner, got a wrap instead. Threw a tantrum when I told him it's not what I ordered. Threw the food in the garbage in front of me and made a scene. My boyfriend came 4 hours to visit me and this döner is usually a highlight of Göttingen, however this man ruined my experience. Won't be coming back for a while.

Very tasty, prices ok, lots of vegan choices.

The paradisiacal snack bar offers great little falafel dumplings, which I, as a critic, really enjoyed. I had a taste explosion, and a much bigger explosion a few hours later in my bathroom. The parts are huge, but unfortunately the small local doesn't have a toilet, which is why I had to damage my own toilet. However, a visit is recommended!

I’m sure it’s the best Shawarma in town! Everything was delicious and well-made. The quantity was very generous, the staff even offered us a falafel while waiting our order. Prices are also very reasonable (11€ for the shawarma meal appears im my photo).

I was there for the first time today and will definitely be back. My pizza was fantastic. To the point, perfect sharpness. The mood/atmosphere was extremely good. Extremely friendly team. Absolute recommendation from me. I wish you good business from the bottom of my heart, you totally deserve it. Thank you for such great service and delicious food at a late hour. I felt very welcome.

If you want a kebab that has been drowned in sauce and has a thin strip of meat inside, this is the place for you. impertinence. Probably only rated so well because of all the eco-students who think that your dead-fried falafel covered in sauce is healthy. Never again.

I handed in my stamp loyalty card with five out of ten stamps on it and received a completely new stamp loyalty card with only one stamp on it - which means that five stamps were brazenly deducted from me. So you get ripped off there. This is how you get ripped off as a loyal customer. I've been avoiding the store ever since. Be careful!

Authentic snack bar with fast and very friendly service. By far the best kebab in Göttingen; the only one where you don't feel uncomfortable afterwards. Plus the cheapest!

I love this kebab. The seller is from Schwobalendlä or Heilbronn and reminds me of my homeland. The service is so polite and courteous I really enjoy coming here. I won't visit any other kebab in Göttingen again.

Shawarma was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and I highly recommend it to everyone. It's the perfect spot for a quick and satisfying meal. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back again.

We waited 3 hours for our food. No one answered the phone in the store, so we couldn't even cancel the order. When the pizza arrived, one was wrong and another wasn't quite cooked. We would like our money back!

Top price, shawarma roll completely okay.

We ordered there and actually 1 star is still too much!! The fries were delivered RAW. It also took a really long time for the food to be delivered.

The best and most delicious food and wonderful service

Unfortunately I can only rate the food as I wasn't there myself. The shawarma was very tasty and the kids box was also very nice for small children. It definitely wasn't the last time!

We love going to shawarma often, but unfortunately neither the rolls nor the boxes have been filled to any extent for some time now. Today we had 3 half-full halloumi boxes and 2 very little filled rolls. Unfortunately, the last orders and pickups were all similar when it came to the dishes mentioned. It would be nice if they filled you up again like you did a year ago. Otherwise everyone is always very nice and warm. We therefore very much hope that this downward trend does not continue. :(

By far one of the best oriental restaurants I know and the best in Göttingen! The food is incredibly tasty and has that certain something extra. :) The staff is always very friendly and there is a little something free with every visit.

Ordered at 1:30 a.m. and delivered in 25 minutes and the food was a 10/10. It arrived super fresh and steaming hot when we opened the pizza boxes and the delivery service was super nice despite the time

Falafel is amazing! Shawarma wraps are really great as well. very limited seating, but that's kind of expected. Service is really really friendly. For example one time there was quite a lot of wait for shawarma because the spit was being set up; and they made and gave away freshly fried falafels to the waiting people.

Really delicious vegan wrap with fried vegetables. Rich and well seasoned. Very nice and good prices. Really recommended for vegetarians and vegans!

Also 1 star too many. Wait 40 minutes and get a pizza that doesn't even have the dough is baked.

It has little or nothing to do with shawarma, normal chicken like any other kebab shop around the corner. The taste was pretty much like that, you could eat it but I wouldn't buy it again. If it's shawarma, there's only one shop and it's in Hildesheim at Mr. Delicious, which sells original shawarma and other Arabic specialties. The store makes a rather unclean impression if you look at the floor and ceiling walls.

Nice little snack bar with super tasty and quick dishes. Everything is freshly prepared on site. I particularly liked the pizza and its super thin base and loose edges. The prices are not only pleasantly low, but there are also discounts from time to time. The whole thing is then wonderfully rounded off by the cozy atmosphere and the extremely friendly staff. Thanks for the great food.

After 7 kebabs with different sauces at different times and within about 3 weeks, I can only say that you are my new address when it comes to well-cooked meat in a flatbread. 👍 No matter when I was there, the meat was always freshly cut from the spit. Yes, dear “quick, quick” students, you have to wait a little bit here, but it’s worth it. The boys are all friendly and relaxed. That's how I like it. What makes me very happy is that we finally have sumac here! Go to another store where you usually buy kebab and ask for it. 😉 For me it's currently one of the best kebabs in Göttingen. Small extension: I've eaten Pizza Mista at Shawarma Loca a few times now. I can also recommend the pizza here. Sure, it's not a stone oven pizza like the Italians, but I still like it. The edge is crispy, the dough tastes good and passes the pizza slice test. Nothing bends down because the floor is too soft due to fat and the like. That's how it should be. 👍 LG

Die Pommes waren sehr kross und würzig. Wir haben zusätzlich einen Falafel mit Hummus angeboten bekommen, der ebenfalls frisch und lecker war.

Schwarma Rolle richtig gut! Wirklich nach arabischer Art. Beim warten bekommt man kostenlose goodies wie falafel zum Essen. Komme gerne noch mal wieder und probierte einen Schwarma Teller.

Etwas überbewertet. Hummus und Pommes sind gut — die Soßen viel zu majolastig und Falafel war viel zu salzig, obwohl ich gern salzig esse… würde aber noch andere Gerichte hier ausprobieren. Göttingen hat immer noch keinen richtig guten “Dönerladen”

Einfach das beste Shawarma in der Gegend. Wir kommen extra aus Einbeck um hier Shawarma zu essen. Die Portionen sind reichlich und es ist einfach sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich und man muss nicht lange aufs Essen warten. Da Gebäude könnte vielleicht mal eine Sanierung gebrauchen, aber da kommt es gar nicht drauf an. Das Essen ist einfach super, alles andere eben zweitrangig. Können wir einfach nur weiterempfehlen.

Bestes Falafel seit langem - und ich komme aus Berlin ;-) Super lecker. Auch das Makali. Personal super freundlich. Draußen kann man auch gut sitzen.

Seitan-Rolle war mega! Seitan gut gewürzt und bissig, dazu leckere Soßen. Portion für mich perfekt. Bei grossem Hunger vlt. etwas zu wenig. Ambiente ist ok - hellweisses Licht. Service seeehr freundlich :)

Shawarma rolle Fleisch sous Vide gegart Soße ohne Pepp Magere Portionen Schnell und nett Evt Teller Gerichte besser

Haben den Loca-Teller für 2 Personen bestellt + extra Fleisch. Shawarma war schön geröstet, ist toll gewürzt und schmeckt einfach gut. Genauso die Falafel und der Haloumi-Käse. Reis ist auch perfekt gekocht, ist noch leicht angemacht, auf jeden Fall nicht zu trocken, Salat frisch, Hummus auch sehr lecker. Einziges Manko war die Größe der Portion. Für Zwei Leute hat es definitiv nicht gereicht, trotz Extra-Fleisch Bestellung (insgesamt 24,50 Euro). Kann auch sein dass die Zusatzbestellung einfach nicht verstanden wurde, berechnet wurde sie auf jeden Fall. Haben noch eine Einzelportion (12 Euro) bestellt, dann waren wir satt. Ist dann aber insgesamt sehr teuer (z.B. war die Menge Reis beim großen und kleinen Teller genau gleich, ebenso der Hummus) Werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen da die Qualität wirklich super ist nur bitte größere Portionen servieren!
