Everything you need at the rest stop

Everything was very clean, including the toilets. Lots of seating, inside and outside. My McDonald's order was processed professionally. First the drinks, then burgers and fries. The employee at the counter was very friendly and in a good mood.

Took a charging break with our electric car. Everything was clean and everything at McDonald's was as usual.

Unfortunately, the first impression is deceptive: the toilets are dirty and run down. The automatic cleaning of the toilet seats only produces wet toilet seats. If I'm going to pay a euro to use the toilets, I'd like to find them clean. Due to the poor hygiene in the toilets, I can't say anything about the catering because I saved myself that.

One of the best rest stops far and wide. The selection of food is very good, the prices are acceptable and the staff is very friendly. When we are passing through there we always take a break here.

Half past 9 in the morning, dirty women's toilet, baguette far too dry (too little butter), no salad, etc. The employee at the checkout has no idea how to do this with an ADAC discount. Unfortunately, I have noticed these points at many Serway's rest stops🙄

Rest area with tradition since its completion in 1939. These old areas are under monument protection. For today's standards there is a decent offer, relatively clean sanitary facilities and sufficient parking spaces.

Unfortunately, there's only one electric charging station with two charging bays, and it's not signposted. There's definitely room for improvement! Access to the charging station is also beyond inadequate. Access via the shortest route is prohibited, but brazen drivers still use it, and they then snatch the last available space right under our noses. And this in 2025. Sad.

I'll be brief. Everything in general, as colleagues have already described, is not bad. Shower in the restaurant, three cabins. With a discount coupon it costs 2 euros. But! At the moment (12/21/2024) shower number 2 has almost no water draining at all. I told them, I think I received the information normally, we’ll see how they react. In the meantime, I advise you to avoid cabin 2. True, I don’t know how it is in the others, it’s just that it’s very difficult to wash in a puddle here.

We were at the Nordsee Restaurant and actually wanted to use vouchers from the app. Unfortunately, this probably isn't possible in highway restaurants 🤷‍♀️ There was no justification for this.... maybe we should rethink that! Either usable everywhere or nowhere!!

If you are hungry and want to eat. Just wait a little longer. I ate in the 3 resto's, none of them were ok. McDonalds was the worst.

Whenever we come back from Holland we stop there and eat the delicious currywurst. We have already tested many rest areas, but Rhynern Süd is the best. Nice staff, delicious food and always freshly prepared.

Service are good you have to pay for toilet which is strange,they close at night.

On Friday it was already packed, on Saturday there were places until 14:00, toilet 1€, shower 3€

A rest stop where you can go to the toilet and eat! As at all Rast & Tank, prices are too expensive and are definitely at the expense of the tenants!

A rest stop for our rest on a longer car journey. The sanitary facility was clean. The culinary offering was varied and good. Seating for on-site dining is available. A good concept.

It isn't there often anymore, but it's a very nice rest stop and, above all, clean. The toilets were spotlessly clean. I got something from Nordsee which was delicious and the friendliest employee I've had in a long time. You can definitely take a break here.

Went there for the gambling machines, only one machine worked, but not with a foreign ID. I asked by phone whether it would work, and the answer was yes. Nice man came in, swiped his card and we were able to play.
