Serways Raststätte Renchtal West in Appenweier

We just made a quick stop; we haven't had such nice service at a rest stop in a long time. The man with the blue-gray hair at Coffee Fellows does a great job. Big praise ;-)

Very clean, lots of toilets, you can make a longer stop, eat, wash, buy souvenirs - I recommend it

A motorway service station as motorway service stations are. There is nothing to complain about and nothing to praise.

Gasoline and charging are absolutely overpriced. The toilet facility was the last, broken toilets, empty soap dispensers and overfilled trash cans. And you have to pay for it... German rest stops have really become absolute filth with Serways

We spoke in English and the two persons where we wanted to pay answered us very rudely, we didn’t understand any German and they spoke loudly to us, very bad customer service it was one woman and one man. They should both be fired!!!!!!

Motorway service station. It's friendlier and it takes a while to find the elevator for people with limited mobility. You then need someone to run up the stairs and persuade the staff to please use the elevator. The toilets are then one floor lower. So it's better to use the fuel tank at the front.

Just like any motorway service station, got what you need at high prices

Let's plan a trip to charge the electric car! Unfortunately none of the pillars worked. The rest stop itself was as expected: clean and well maintained!

Toilet facilities clean. The prices in the shop and in the restaurant are totally overpriced

Shower 3 euros and a set of keys, clean with hot water, the only thing missing is a toilet in the room with a shower but overall ok, I recommend it

Clean, at least the toilet facility. We did not visit other locations and therefore cannot rate them :)

Normal parking, only because of colleagues, very dirty asphalt, impossible to breathe, water at a gas station, shower 3 euros in exchange for a key, hot water in the shower, relatively clean, by the way, a very friendly and friendly guy worked at the checkout and no deposits were required ... Separately, I would like to note his work, it was very hot and it was clear that he was not comfortable, but he smiled at everyone and calmly did his job...

Like any motorway service station you are just being ripped off

Large shaded parking lot especially for children's play cars. Outdoor tables, parasol. Catering, very friendly staff.

Gusticus apparently closes at 8 p.m., we were there at 7:15 p.m. and everything was said to be closed. Staff was unfriendly and was visibly annoyed with the customers. We left the remaining “fresh” sandwiches after two bites. They were really inedible.

Very poor staff and coffee, just ordered cappuccino, it was just foam milk, I went to ask and just got an aggressive answer from the stupid employee

Animals piss in the shower instead of using the room next door, you don't have to pay extra... Maybe you shouldn't go back to civilization if you don't know how to live in a society...

Excellent, large parking. There are free toilets and showers. There is a clean lake nearby.

It's a disaster, no one doesn't clean, an infected shower is impossible. Are we in Germany in summer 2024 in the 21st century?

Motorway service station with friendly staff. The coffee is tasty and the prices are high, like everywhere else on the highway. The toilets are clean, the ticket costs €1 and is fully credited towards the purchase.

Closes at 7pm on a Thursday. Incredible

Very unfriendly staff and they don't think much of hygiene regulations. The food was put on the plate by hand, without gloves. In terms of taste, it wasn't that great either, just ready-made food.

If I hadn't needed a toilet so urgently I would have backed out. I was greeted by a very pungent smell of an outhouse like my grandparents had in their garden back then and the icing on the cake was that 3 toilets were very dirty and a receipt that I had paid for didn't come out of the machine at the beginning. It was relatively early in the morning but a rest stop toilet facility should have a minimum level of cleanliness.

The food is always the same at the rest stops. Much better than years ago. The staff is usually friendlier, unless they are overwhelmed. But was satisfied.

As we already wrote in the previous comment, the girl at the checkout asks for 10 € for a shower. When you tell her that it costs 3€, she says that 10€ is including service. Payment only in CASH! You can't pay with a card like this

The toilet was terribly dirty and smelly. The sales area is small, you have nowhere to turn. Avoid this rest stop.

I used the electric charger only - it was working. The coffee shop was nice, the staff friendly. Paid toilet, as per usual now in Germany

Many rest stops on the A5 have a lot of cigarette butts lying around outside. it just doesn't look nice!

Toilets moderately clean, soap dispensers empty or broken. Could be better. The coffee was expensive but ok.

Shower no. 2 tragedy! There is no toilet in the shower room, so users are likely to urinate while bathing. It stinks of urine inside. The basket is not empty and there are some food remains on the floor and in the sink or I don't know what they are. Overall, I don't recommend it, I'll avoid it next time.

Highway - rest stop, NOTHING special!

I can only say something about the food. Since there were no burgers or anything else that appealed to me, I chose the bratwurst. Unfortunately I can only advise against this. Very greasy, totally over-salted, the consistency takes some getting used to, a disaster for me. Well, hunger drove it in and a lot of hope kept it in there. Far too expensive for this quality. For the price I would expect much better quality. Otherwise the ambience is completely okay. The service was very friendly and customer focused. The toilets were probably clean, as you would expect from Serways. However, I don't know, I'm just assuming.

I can't say much without offending. The "box" rations have little to do in quality, quantity and price with what they were when they were first introduced. The staff often leaves a lot to see. The cleaning, come on, leaves something to be desired. It's the first time in 13 years that I've seen a dirty, self-cleaning bathroom. Germany is no longer what it was. 😢

Rest food ,,, pee everything you need

Schlecht vom Essen und 50 Cent mehr für Benzin als bei mir Zuhause.

Keine Ahnung wie es dort ist. Ich fahre da immer raus um im Auto zu schlafen. Recht ruhig so früh um 3 Uhr. 😆

Kein Toilettenpapier bei einer der Damentoiletten (obwohl es ein Großspender war). Keine Seife in beiden Toiletten. Weder Papier zum Abtrocknen noch Desinfektionsmittel bei den Herren. Ansonsten sauber wie es auch bei Serways immer ist.

Jammer dat er niet overal afval tonnen staan . Je ziet dan overal zwerfvuil liggen .

Gut ausgestattete Raststätte mit Treppe. Der Lift für Behinderte war am 1.1.24 statt ab 21 Uhr schon um 19 Uhr nicht direkt nutzbar, das Behinderten WC ist dann für Rollstühle nicht erreichbar.

Gute Auswahl an Getränken und Essen. Essen war sehr lecker. Toiletten sehr sauber.

Fahre hier öfters hin, liegt auf dem Weg zu unserer Tochter.

Duschen und Toilette könnte besser geputzt werden. Der Geruch ist echt übel und beißt in der Nase

Sono stata al ristorante coffee fellows oggi 14.12 alle 17:30 e il latte macchiato mi ha guardato tantissimo e la torta era buonissima, devo anche dire che il personale è stato gentilissimo

Angefangen bei der WC Anlage. Dort stand eine Putzfrau die nur da stand und die Leute beobachtete. Im WC begrüßte Dich ein fürchterlicher Gestank und es war sehr unsauber. Auf 3 Klos war kein WC Papier vorhanden. Bei den beiden Waschbecken zum Hände waschen war ein Seifenspender leer . Zum Hände trocknen waren beide Papierspender auch leer. Als sich eine Dame bei der Putzfrau im Gang meldete und mitteilte was alles im den WC leer ist und fehlt wurde diese Dame aufs gröbste angeschriehen von der Reinigungsdame das dies nicht stimme. Wir waren 2 weitere Damen die dies der Reinigungskraft auch so mitteilten und diese rastete aufs gröbste aus und hat uns nur angschriehen dass das nicht stimmt. Wohlverstanden man bezahlt für die Toilette 1 Euro ....... da darf man doch wohl erwarten das es Papier und Seife hat ....... und dies auch freundlich mitteilen der Reinigungskraft was fehlt!!!! NIE NIE MEHR !!!! Die Raststätte, also das Restaurant ist sehr kahl und unfreundlich mit genau so unfreundlichem Personal. Fahrt da einfach weiter !!! NIE NIE MEHR!!!

Grosse und saubere Raststätte. Wir durften hier ein gutes Cappuccino genießen.

Sehr unfreundlich, als wenn wir stören würden und nicht erwünscht waren.

Die Bedienung zieht ein Gesicht wie … ich möchte es nicht weiter ausführen. Schien nicht motiviert zu sein. Ein freundliches „Hallo und Auf Wiedersehen“ war ihr nicht zu entlocken. Der Gastraum war sehr ungepflegt und schmutzig , ebenso die Tische und Stühle.

Super für Kinder geeignet und eine wunderbare Spielecke innen und ein schöner Spielplatz außen. Essen war gut und der Aufenthalt kurzweilig.

Haben wir für eine kurze Rast genutzt. Allerdings ohne die weiteren Angebote zu nutzen. Ist ganz Okay.

Sauber, Preise für Getränke sind okay

Sehr angenehmes höfliches Personal und Sauber. Es gibt sogar Salate! Hab mich sehr gefreut.
