Serways Raststätte Renchtal West in Appenweier

Serways... the worst brand since motorway service station operators began! I wanted to treat myself to a coffee, there was a customer in front of me. While the counter attendant was preparing this customer's order, the employee was scratching his ear with obvious relish... Disgusting! 🤢 Typical Serways, I haven't found a single recommendable service station from this operator, and I drive around 1000km a week for work. I hope Serways gets shut down soon so that people can actually enjoy a break on the motorway again!

The restrooms were very poorly maintained. They were dirty, and there was no soap in the dispensers, yet they charged a euro for cleaning that hadn't been done.

Great location and parking, great store and restaurant, and whit 3€ for the shower!!!

Was here 08/27/2025. Shower 3 euros. There was a half-bald, not very nice guy at the cashier, he didn't want to give me the key without a deposit, only with a deposit of 10 euros. The ATM charges a 2.99 euro commission.

Generally speaking, you can do your business. Unfortunately, some restrooms were locked even though they weren't staffed. It was also noticeable that there was a lack of staff. It's been better.

For 1 euro, you'd expect clean restrooms. Floors littered with toilet paper, dirty toilets, sometimes without any paper. What are you paying the fee for? 😞

Sauber Ordentlich so sollte es sein. Das Essen war sehr gut. Den Stern Abzug gibt's leider für s Personal. Der Dame hinter der Theke war ich wohl ein Störfaktor . So nach dem Motto jetzt will der noch was von mir .

The restrooms weren't clean and smelled strongly of urine. We didn't use the restaurant. The playground was good for the kids. Unfortunately, there weren't many places to charge our electric car.

Best gas station in Germany! Very helpful people. I had a breakdown, and the cashier (the best man!) helped me and my girlfriend, and he did it voluntarily. Give them a raise.

It's expensive, but there's LPG. The last four stations were sealed off. Cars should respect the space for long vehicles.

Unfortunately, I can't give a review; the rest stop doesn't open until 11 a.m. Very disappointing. Two years ago, we had breakfast there in the morning before driving to Europa-Park.

Toilet was clean. Restaurant staff friendly but struggled with calculating three things. With my help and a few corrections it worked. The bagel was fine, the coffee was scalded and because the milk was heated too hot, the foam collapsed and it was just hot milk with hot coffee and no cappuccino. First day as barristo?

Toilets cost 1 euro and are still dirty

The shower costs 5 euros + 20 euros deposit. There are other countries where the shower is free or 1 euro. What is here in Germany is pathetic!

We just made a quick stop; we haven't had such nice service at a rest stop in a long time. The man with the blue-gray hair at Coffee Fellows does a great job. Big praise ;-)

Gasoline and charging are absolutely overpriced. The toilet facility was the last, broken toilets, empty soap dispensers and overfilled trash cans. And you have to pay for it... German rest stops have really become absolute filth with Serways

We spoke in English and the two persons where we wanted to pay answered us very rudely, we didn’t understand any German and they spoke loudly to us, very bad customer service it was one woman and one man. They should both be fired!!!!!!

Motorway service station. It's friendlier and it takes a while to find the elevator for people with limited mobility. You then need someone to run up the stairs and persuade the staff to please use the elevator. The toilets are then one floor lower. So it's better to use the fuel tank at the front.

Normal parking, only because of colleagues, very dirty asphalt, impossible to breathe, water at a gas station, shower 3 euros in exchange for a key, hot water in the shower, relatively clean, by the way, a very friendly and friendly guy worked at the checkout and no deposits were required ... Separately, I would like to note his work, it was very hot and it was clear that he was not comfortable, but he smiled at everyone and calmly did his job...

Large shaded parking lot especially for children's play cars. Outdoor tables, parasol. Catering, very friendly staff.

Gusticus apparently closes at 8 p.m., we were there at 7:15 p.m. and everything was said to be closed. Staff was unfriendly and was visibly annoyed with the customers. We left the remaining “fresh” sandwiches after two bites. They were really inedible.
