Cappuccino over 5 euros... Otherwise a normal rest stop like everywhere else, nothing special, clean inside and out

I was actually hoping that Google would never ask my opinion about visiting this store. The visit there was so subterranean that I'd rather take a shower before I stop there again. Except for the colleague who worked at the toilet and was allowed to play the servant of the two unfriendly ladies, everyone's salary was reduced! We arrived at the rest stop because we needed a toilet break, unfortunately there was a long queue in front of the women's toilet. Well, nobody can do anything about that there. Since I got to it quickly, I had to wait for my companion. Of course you have a lot of time to look and observe. The two strong women who ran the food counter and cash register are, for me, the unfriendly people I have had the pleasure of seeing in a long time. I told my companion that if you go home from your vacation in Berlin disappointed because everyone in Berlin was unfriendly to you, you definitely have to stop here to finally decide that you will never go to Berlin again. People who had questions were frowned upon in a tone that would be too harsh even for prison. You couldn't get a single sensible answer out of the two women. Every now and then the shop shouted: “Wash up”. Then the very quiet gentleman from the toilet came into play. Since we were hungry, we decided to eat there. After ordering and selecting "pay cash", I went to the checkout. I greeted the lady and was met with nothing but silence. The waiting time for the food was ok. Then we got our food and noticed at the checkout that the mayo was missing, so we waited a bit. After an extremely unfriendly "there's something else" and the reference to the mayo, we got it thrown away. Unfortunately, the lady also forgot our cutlery and my companion had to go there again. After an equally unfriendly salutation, the lady tried to convince us that the cutlery was there. After a discussion we finally got our cutlery. At this point we've already sworn we'll never stop here again! The food wasn't great, but it wasn't particularly tasty either. For the price you can eat better. While we were eating, a boy about 7 years old stood in line there. After trying to ask in English when his food was coming, the answer he got was "GERMAN". You're really ashamed that people like this represent us Germans! We were there for 30 minutes and will never come back. And for everyone else who is thinking about driving another 1.5 hours towards Dresden, the next rest stop (Freienhufen) is definitely friendlier than that!

2x schnitzel with fries for €13.99 each and then served cold and carelessly. After we asked after waiting 20 minutes and she didn't see the order on the monitor. An impudence...

the rest stop makes a good impression. Unfortunately, the staff is very unfriendly and we cannot recommend eating in the in-house restaurant. There are much better rest stops there! Highly recommended for a trip to the toilet…!

Clean rest area, food can be ordered via a terminal and is freshly prepared, doesn't taste bad either, as soon as a coach comes there is just chaos in the toilets and in the small restaurant area

Staff incredibly rude I just wanted to go to the toilet and noticed that the rest stop was closed. When I saw someone inside I knocked but was ignored several times even though he was still looking at me Instead of just going to the door and saying what's going on, ignoring me is just cheeky. I wouldn't recommend this rest stop between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m

This was a great stop along the way from Dresden to Berlin. I originally planned to get a quick coffee before heading back in the road and of course a pitstop seemed like a good idea. The food I saw advertised looked so good. A schnitzel with chips (french fries) and mushroom gravy. I couldn’t pass it up. I also ordered a hot chocolate but it was from the push button machine. The food was delicious, the chicken was so tender and juicy, I’d never expect that from a quick roadside place. Additionally, you could see the care and attention paid to the cleanliness. There was a woman right up front wiping clean the silverware. My mother ordered a cappuccino, hers also came from the push machine. She didn’t care for it at all. There are people making coffee, I’m sure that would’ve been much better than the machine. If you come here and make a quick restroom stop, don’t forget to have your coins or credit card handy, it was €1 to access the restroom. They print the little ticket which gives you .50 back towards a purchase so be sure to make your purchase after you use the restroom, otherwise you can hang on to it for future use at other roadside establishments.

Everything there is kept a bit "small" - shopware on offer, food and drinks on offer - but not bad for a short break. The large bockwurst with rolls for €4.99 was tasty and, with a 10% ADAC discount for a motorway service station, also OK.

Open around the clock. Stood in front of locked doors at 2:45 a.m. and I urgently needed to go to the toilet. But since you read here how dirty the toilets are supposed to be, I should probably be happy that they were closed.

I ate there. A meatball box BBQ. I felt sick all day afterwards and vomited. Something like that had never happened to me before! I shouldn't have eaten it in the first place, the meat just didn't look appetizing anymore. The prices are also very expensive. I would actually advise against eating there. Sry.

Complete disaster... anyone who comes from the catering industry knows what service means. If the employees don't feel like doing the work at all, nothing positive can come out of it...it's a shame

So the toilet was clean and tidy, but otherwise it was a disaster... The owners should train and instruct their staff better so that the customers don't feel so taken aback... Unbelievable

...however, we only had a break in the park to enjoy a coffee at the caravan in the evening sun

5:30 p.m., Saturday on the way home. Only stop to actually relieve yourself. Like others, they stood in front of closed doors. Lights on, staff there, doors closed. No notice, no notice.... Instead, the number that was probably on the receipt from the terminal was called out. Unfortunately we were sitting very far away from the exit. The lady in the “kitchen” didn’t mind that no one picked up the food. The food was filling but wasn't really tasty. My fries were hardly seasoned, my husband's tasted salty and like stale fat. Once ketchup or mayo should be €10 included. In addition, the tables were not clean either. We'll just drive by next time...

Rest area closed at around 8 p.m. on Saturday with no indication of other opening times. Restaurant and toilets fully lit and staff available, but not responsive. Very bad for families...

An absolute disgrace, I would fire the staff. Tuesday at 3:40 p.m. the shop is closed!!! no notice, nothing and after a number of people tried to get in, the light quickly went out. No toilet available. Change the staff again if instead of turning off the light there had at least been a notice at the door 👎👎👎 and the ice shield is still invitingly outside 😂😂

A gas station marked on the highway as a gas station does not have fuel dispensers :D It is only a shop and a restaurant, strictly "like at a gas station". Queues like someone was giving away something for free. The toilet was clean, but I needed fuel and not to get stuck in a traffic jam to get to the parking lot.

Well, the place may look very nice in the photos during the day and it certainly functions that way, but I and a few other travelers arrived at night to use the toilet according to the highway sign..... However, I was not allowed to do so. because it was closed, I was forced to take advantage of the charms of nature, which, fortunately for me, was not closed. ;) Regards

Parking spaces for trucks are almost always occupied and there are not many for passenger cars, toilets are like in the African wilderness, the only advantage is that the outside is quite clean. Serways has very tasty food and great coffee.

Seriously? I've never experienced anything like that before: the gentleman with bad German and glasses almost taps me on the finger because I wanted to grab a knife that was unfortunately missing from the schnitzel. Should I suck this? I didn't do anything wrong or reach behind the counter. I should kindly ask what I want with open cutlery... ahaaa... and then in one tone! Holla... Nuggets rock hard and schnitzel dry as a stick. Apart from that bit, I would like to mention the little mouse that scurried around on the edge 😎 I also had to clean the table first 😎 All in all, unfriendly and unclean. No recommendation and I would like to talk to them again about the knife story and the mouse. As a family we were very shocked... I'm used to a lot of things but that's borderline. Sincerely the travelers

That's not the seriousness here. You still have to pay money for the toilet. Every station toilet is better. And the boss doesn't care at all. You should be ashamed.

Normal rest stop. Overpriced like everywhere else. But an incredibly unfriendly toilet staff, unfriendly is an understatement. Such aggression problems cannot be tolerated. A cheeky appearance from the first letter to the last, something like that is no longer allowed to work in service!!! Just a short pee break is not possible, a huge queue and then you get complained about. under all crap

Were there on September 20th at 5 p.m. The rest stop was closed. No public restroom Peeing and...... just went around the corner behind the hedge. Horrible and disgusting

Not recommended. Men's toilets dirty, don't drain and some are broken. When eating, the fries are forgotten, the coffee is really full, but as thin as dishwater. Another negative example for German rest stops.

Were there for a short stop at the weekend. I don't like giving out bad reviews, but I've never experienced anything like that. You come in, it smells like a toilet, the counter area had been freshly wiped. The cleaner was just complaining to herself, what you didn't understand about, wiped the men's toilet, complained complained, then women's toilets, complained complained, got a sausage at the counter and the good lady just complained, no suitable money, whether you couldn't order faster etc. We went out there with many others and we all just shook our heads. Of course the girls were all stressed, the journey back was busy, but that's not possible! We come by there more often, maybe it's better then and there'll be a positive review, but definitely not today!

All prices are completely overpriced. Which is not surprising. 1€ for using the toilet is almost a rip-off. The cleanliness also leaves something to be desired. But if you have to... And then being able to redeem the Euro voucher from the toilet for a coffee for almost 4 euros... A joke.

1 star is still too much. Toilets were dirty and employees were extremely unfriendly. The kids menu didn't include drinks and surprises - but the price was the same. Overall we felt very uncomfortable.

We had a very good experience. Toilet paid but free😁 First you pay 1€ per person, but you get a voucher 1€ per person for the shop/tea/coffee. One voucher one payment, so we take 2 separate drinks and pay twice, each time using a voucher. Nice workers there, helpful.

Hundreds of people on the weekend, and there are only two paid toilets, and one of them is not working. An hour in line for the toilet...

I was horrified by the terrible service at the counter. Everyone got their fat off before me because they didn't immediately know whether the coffee should be small or large... it was my turn because I hadn't read properly because I wanted to use the toilet voucher for a magazine... . and a poor employee because he didn't know exactly how to help a boy. This lady was from the fish market or something. Can you still unleash something like that on customers today?????

Unfortunately 1 star for the behavior of the "superior" employee, who behaves very derogatory and unfriendly towards her foreign colleagues! Maybe she should have worked herself instead of standing around chatting with guests!!! Every now and then, a please and thank you - it's not too much to ask, even as a superior. Just because there are small communication problems doesn't mean you have to stand behind someone shaking your head and annoyed when they politely ask if they can get help. Be happy that there are people who want to work and put up with you!

A pleasant pit Stop with children play area, and Pay and use toilets, 1 € which can redeemed at your purchase. Vegitarian and Vegan eatable options are available as well. Extra siting area outside. But no tank station, or I might have not seen it. But fir electric vehicles there are 2 charging stations available.

Guys, I'm excited... Even though it was quite busy, it was lunchtime and there were a lot of families out and about, our order was ready very quickly. Currywurst and sauce fresh and delicious, fries hot, crispy and well seasoned. I didn't know that it could actually taste good at a motorway service station! Compliments and if it were possible I would give 10 stars 😍

Too few parking spaces. The Sanifair toilet was really dirty. There was no toilet paper, no soap and no towels. Having to pay for something like that is a disgrace.

Advertising a sanitary facilities, which are of course not free. After you pay, you’ll find these facilities are everything BUT sanitary. Mens bathroom lacks cleaning, smell is horrifying and the top of the iceberg-no toilet paper. We stopped at 5 Serways tank&rast stops and not one sanitary bathroom, not one clean shower, always no toilet paper. It felt like a trip to a third world country.

Demand money for the toilet, but there is no service. Toilet paper and towels were all gone.
