Very good, varied food, which is not served in an intrusive manner thanks to the service, bread basket with good olive oil! , small, great, cozy restaurant, The only drawback is when regular guests come (and there were quite a few) then the empty plates remained on the table for a very long time, you first had to hug each other, wish them luck and health and then walk past the empty plate again. .It's a shame that dampened the great impression a bit... Very large selection of gluten-free dishes (although asking €3.50 more is a bit pricey) but I think we will come back here too!

We returned for dinner for the second time and, once again, we found a welcoming and familiar environment. The dishes are really excellent and you can sense that they are prepared with fresh ingredients. Both the pizza and the pasta are absolutely recommended! :)

The Senso is an excellent Italian restaurant that can be recommended without any reservations. My ragu with homemade pasta was extremely good. You could tell from the taste that the ragu was simmered for a long time at low heat so that the meat flavor developed in the ragu and at the same time the meat was tender and not dried out. Simply good! My wife's pizza was also delicious. Thin base, but still a fluffy dough (you could especially see how beautiful it was at the edge). Not too busy. What an Italian pizza should be like. And finally a highlight that you shouldn't miss: the tiramisu. A light mascarpone cream that I have never eaten before. The wine selection is also good. The Barbera d'Asti was just over. But the restaurant manager recommended a wine from the north of Basilicata that tasted similar to a Barbera, but which I hadn't heard of before. Important: Senso is a relatively small restaurant, which means you should definitely make a reservation.

Very friendly service and super delicious food

The decor and atmosphere is very inviting even from the outside. As soon as we walked in we were warmly welcomed. Above all, the tables and seats are super comfortable and it is very clean. The pasta is perfectly aldente, the pizza is fluffy and juicy and the edges and base are perfectly crispy. In my opinion they have one of the best lasagnas I have ever tasted. Summa summarum Senso commendatur est.🙌

The Senso (formerly "Intermezzo") is a family business and almost an institution in the Brudermühlviertel. I order pizza regularly, but I also like going to restaurants for dinner and can recommend the kitchen without reservation. The ambience in the restaurant is very cozy and pleasant, the atmosphere is inviting to have a quiet chat over a bottle of wine after your meal. You always feel warmly welcome by the owner family. I have been a guest there for over 10 years and am already looking forward to my next visit.

I have been a regular guest at Senso for many years. The food is always excellent. The changing weekly menu offers great, unusual dishes. Senso is run by the family and you can feel that in the atmosphere in the restaurant. Franca, Filippo and Miriam in service and Francesco in the kitchen are an unbeatable team. Everyone is warm and you always feel welcome, almost like part of the family.

Good food, reasonable prices, portions aren't too big, but that's fine. But the two waitresses are super annoyed with the guests and show it. The four guests at the neighboring table therefore left the restaurant. 2 tables had to be pushed together and the waiter didn't like that. He doesn't like to pay separately either...even though he got a tip of over €20. All questions are answered succinctly. It's a shame because the food was good

We have been to this restaurant for the third time and the experience was absolutely fantastic once again! The warm and elegant atmosphere. Each course we ordered looked like a true work of art, both in presentation and taste. Starter: a richly balanced carpaccio of real octopus, lots of vegetables which, sprinkled with an extraordinary sauce, enhanced every flavour. What can we say about the tortelloni stuffed with porcini mushrooms, homemade, absolutely unique, an explosion of flavors impossible to describe, as well as the beef cheek on porcini puree, the quality of the ingredients is exceptional, the chef's passion shines through in every course . The dining room staff, always available but never intrusive, made the experience even more pleasant. Definitely a place to absolutely try! A high level culinary experience. Congratulations indeed!

We returned to Munich for the Oktoberfest and could not miss the appointment with the Italian restaurant Senso. An explosion of aromas and flavors. This time chef Francesco delighted us with a homemade pacchetro with pumpkin and squid. Simply divine. All washed down with a Lucanian wine Maddalena, an exceptional red. The bread made here is also worth it. A second course that is a work of art: salted sea bass with a side of pakchoi and potatoes In the dining room, Franca and Filippo welcomed us as always with much affection and love. Repeated experience after 1 year, increasingly beautiful.

The Senso is my absolute favorite restaurant. I love the fantastic food and enjoy the family atmosphere, simply pure enjoyment.

We come from the north and when we are in Munich, e.g. B. for concerts, we regularly go to Senso. Pizza and pasta are great, the service is attentive and friendly. (For other reviewers: as you shout into the forest, it rings out again.) A spot outside when the weather is nice makes a visit even better. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Munich - and the Senso.

Warmly friendly service, I'm addressed by name as a regular customer. All around a pleasant atmosphere with lunch menus and a weekly menu with Italian specialties.

The garden was pretty, the food was ok, but the homemade pasta was sticky, the calamari looked like it came out of a bag and smelled fishy - I know it completely differently. The service was extremely unfriendly, inattentive and even dismissive!! Never come with a walker - pure contempt! I don't feel comfortable when you are treated so negatively -!! for people who don't care about the price-performance ratio, who don't value warmth and hospitality - it's fine.

Hey, Was there for dinner with my boyfriend a few weeks ago. I would definitely like to thank Francesco and Anna for the great evening. The food was great, as was the ambience and the family feeling. I have rarely had such good pizza and such authentic service. We went to this outdoor restaurant in the pouring rain with no expectations and we loved every second! A great place to eat gluten free crispy pizza. The additional 3.50 Euro are worth it. As it is directly at the underground it is easy to reach. There are places inside and outside available. Staff is very friendly.

My dinner at Senso became spectacular thanks to the wonderful staff. Not to diminish the food in any way - simply to die for. As we were halfway through our delicious pizzas (try Norma and Focaccia, you won’t regret them!!), my son dropped my phone behind the furniture. Even though the restaurant was packed with clients, the staff gave us special attention while they kept working as usual. In sum, human, friendly and extremely professional. My only regret is this trouble didn’t let me try any dessert, which looked mouthwatering. I’ll have to go back, I guess. 😊

I had a dish from the daily menu and it was extremely fresh. The fish was tender and soft, and the tortelloni tasted like it came straight from Italy. The service was very nice and friendly. It took a little longer for the food to arrive, but it was worth it once it arrived! Very large gluten-free selection.

Unfortunately, we really missed the friendliness of service that we normally experience in other Italian restaurants. The waiter was absolutely unfriendly. The rooms are nicely designed, so we liked the ambience. The food was mostly good, although one pizza was slightly burnt.

We had dinner there on Friday before a concert at the Isarphilharmonie. The service is really top, very warm, committed hosts. The gluten-free pizza is one of the best here in town. We will be back definitely.

A very modern Italian restaurant with, in my opinion, fine cuisine. I had lunch here several times last week and was always very impressed with the dishes and the service. The grilled octopus and the carbonara were very tasty. The restaurant is highly recommended and definitely worth another visit.

The food is really delicious and we especially recommend the changing weekly menu! Especially the meat and fish dishes, as well as homemade pasta, are a poem! The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable here! After the renovation, the facility was modernized and it looks much nicer now! It's a small family restaurant. In summer you can sit on the small terrace.

Wir kommen gern und regelmäßig in dieses kleine italienische Restaurant. Alle Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet und sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Es schmeckt ganz köstlich! Das Interieur ist äußerst stilvoll. Gedeckte Farben und grünes Samt schaffen eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich! Man kann auch Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellen. Also alles ganz wunderbar und sehr empfehlenswert!

Absolute Empfehlung! Wir haben bereits wiederholt Teamevents im Senso (früher Intermezzo) gehabt und das Senso-Team hat uns immer bestens umsorgt. Für Menüplanungen wurden wir vom Chefkoch persönlich, zuvorkommend und geduldig und mit vielen guten Ideen beraten. Allein das ist einzigartig. Und die Küche ist wirklich ausgezeichnet. Auch für mittags nur zu empfehlen, ob für ein Lunch im Haus oder zum Abholen - wir waren immer außerordentlich zufrieden. Weiter so!

Haben am 30.09.2022 geheiratet und unser Hochzeitsessen dort gehabt. Haben uns für das Senso entschieden weil wir vorher schon oft dort essen waren und immer super zufrieden gewesen sind . Haben an unserer Hochzeit ein drei gänge Menü bekommen dass der Koch für uns zusammengestellt hat und es war unglaublich gut. Der Raum wurde wunderschön für uns vorbereitet und es wurden keine Mühen gescheut. (Haben uns sogar eine große Musikbox für die Feier bereit gestellt! :) ) Alle sind unheimlich nett und herzlich. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag dort und möchten uns nochmal für alles bedanken. Es war perfekt! Gaby und Philipp

Leider wurde ich sehr unfreundlich empfangen, bis hin dass mir ein Tisch ohne Kommentar mit Fingerzeig zugewiesen wurde. Die Pasta war sehr gut, ebenso der Lugana Hauswein.

Decent italian restaurant. Had Pizza with shrimps, which was tasty and at the same time not very high caloric for such a dish.

Perfektes Restaurant zum Einstieg für die Isarphilharmonie, die nur knapp 7 Gehminuten entfernt ist. Das Restaurant öffnet sogar früher, wenn dort Konzerte stattfinden. Wir waren zu viert und haben sehr gut gegessen. Die selbstgemachten grüne Tagliatelle mit Pfifferlingen und Trüffeln waren überragend.

Haben hier Pizza nur zum mitnehmen bestellt, dauerte etwas länger, so ca. 30 Minuten, aber dafür alles sehr lecker. Nur weiterzu empfehlen

Wir gehen bereits seit Jahren ins Senso (ehemalig Osteria Intermezzo) da wir nach dem Klettern im KBZ ordentlich Hunger haben und die dortige Gastronomie unterdurchschnittlich ist. Das Essen im Senso ist hervorragend, jedoch preiswert. Die Besitzer Frau und Herr Vitale sind im direkten Service am Gast präsent, pflegen zu guten Stammgästen immer einen freundlichen bisweilen herzlichen Kontakt. Hervorhebenswert ist die ständig wechselnde Speisekarte mit häufig ausgefallenen wohlschmeckenden Kreationen. Wir (40+ und 50+) können sicher sagen das wir jederzeit zufrieden das Restaurant verlassen haben. Daher unsere uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Absolut zu empfehlen… sehr leckeres Essen, abwechslungsreiche Karte, mit wechselnder Wochenkarte und mittagsmenü… der Chef kocht selbst… es gibt zu allem auch immer frisch und selbst gebackenes Brot… auch das tiramisu ist für mich das Beste… das esse ich nur hier…

Ein fanatisches Juwel versteckt unter den vielen italienischen Restaurants in München. Total netter Familienbetrieb mit super leckeren Vorspeisen und genialen Pizzen (der Teig ist der Wahnsinn). Das ganze gepaart mit einer total netten Familie die einen bedient sorgt immer wieder für ein tolles Erlebnis bei jedem Besuch.

Kleines italienisches Restaurant. Vorallem am Wochenende sollte man reservieren, da es nicht viele Tische gibt. Wechselnde Wochenkarte mit saisonalen Gerichten. Sollte man dort nichts finden gibt es in der Standardkarte die üblichen italienischen Gerichte und Pizzen. Als Appetithäppchen wird ein Brotkorb mit verschiedenen frischem Brot gereicht, dazu einen Frischkäseaufstrich. Die Hauptgerichte sind eher klein, sodass es sich lohnt auch eine der leckeren Vorspeisen zu bestellen.

Das beste italienische Restaurant, was wir seit langer Zeit besucht haben. Tolle Pizza, aber auch sehr leckere Gerichte von der Wochenkarte. Hier wird noch gekocht und das sehr lecker! Geschmackvolle Einrichtung und sympathischer Service dazu, was will man mehr? Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
